Hello for anyone who read this, my name is Saka this is my first fanfic ever , I have read a lot of fanfic and I have this idea in my mind for a while, so I decided to write it ,also English is not my first language,so prepare for grammar error and misspelling. I write this after vol 18 'MIO GAME OVER' so if you not read till this vol yet , prepare for spoiler. I dedicated this fic to Takamiya Mio couse I think it's a bit unfair that she's planned all for 30 year's and didn't have ending with Shido. So enjoy.

Summary: Wath if when Shido use sixth bullet vav in the end of vol 18,Shido not just comeback for 30 hours,but far away to when he gain the power of sixth bullet vav,right after he safe Kurumi from Kotori's .Thats will change a lot of thing's .

Chapter 01

Second Chance

The world is white, as far as eye can see there is no other colours, just white, in that white world there is two person, or rather one person and one spirit.The person is a teenage boy with blue hair and brown eyes known as Itsuka Shidou his feet is bound to the ground by band that seems made from light .The spirit a beautiful young girl with astral dress resembling to dress that wear by ancient greek goddess and bear code name 'Deus' .The spirit of origin Takamiya Mio. Standing in front of him.

"It's over Shin, after thirty years finally my dream can come true,to be together with you again" Mio says with smile that full of relief and happiness.

"….. " Shidou didn't reply, what can he say? ,like Mio said all is over, all other spirits is gone Tohka, Yoshino, Yamai sisters, Miku, Natsumi, Nia, Mukuro, Kurumi, Origami and Kotori all is gone because of Mio, in order to retrieve sephira cristals she have to kill them to retrieve it completely. All in order to revive Mio beloved person Takamiya shinji.

"please wait a moment, I will erase Itsuka Shidou memory from you and we can be together again shin."Mio says, she extend her hands to Shidou foreahead to erase his memory.

'its over I cant do anything, I fail, everyone is gone and I can do nothing about that', Shidou though as he watch Mio's hand come closer ' sorry everyone but I can do nonting but give out'. Then suddenly there's a gun shot an Mio's hand has been deflected few inches from Shido.

"…….??!". Shido eyes grow wide because of sudden event.

Sure there is no injury in Mio's hand but even she's surprised by this

"kihihihihihi" a laugh interrupt their dumbfounded state.

"KURUMIII…!!!!!??" Shido shout out loud.

"Ara ara… it seems I appear just in time." Kurumi said.

Shidou can't believe what he see, Kurumi who supposed to be the first one dead when Mio emerged from her body, is here.

"Kurumi… how can you be here…isn't Mio killed you earlier!!!!???" Shido aks.

"Ara..I just a clone, the true me is indeed dead back then" Kurumi said.

"I am the last assassin she send to kill you Takamiya Mio…!!".

"It seems so, but what can you do, I'ive kill your true self, are you really think you can kill me" Mio say " But how you can be here, I wonder.." Mio think out loud.

"The elevent bullet Yud Aleph !!!!" Kurumi clone say.

"eh….?" Is only what Shido could say

"The elevent bullet Yud Aleph is bullet that can bring its target to the future.." Mio explain "Its seems that time, Kurumi shoot Yud Aleph to her clone while pretend aim it to me. As expected from my patner".

"But that's is futile a mere clone will not enough to kill me. Kurumi last effort is pointless" Mio say

"That's not true, I will be enough, true me not just send me to here, she also send all of her mana to me, and it will be enough to my purpose here!!!" Kurumi say as she shot at Mio again.

Shido is confused, he sure that kurumi's clone will not able to kill Mio, even Tohka who gain a bit of Mio's power can't defeat her, ' but why….' Shido tough ' Kurumi will never use her power for something she think useless'.

Shido look to battle between Kurumi clone and Mio again, Kurumi shoot at Mio with high accuracy and she put a lot mana to every bullet she shoot, but its have no effect to Mio, and she began to be cornered by Mio's power. But despite that Kurumi still have smile on her face.

Look at this Shido is more confused

"Kurumi……why are you here.!!!???. why are you still fighting ??!!" Shido shout at Kurumi's clone.

"saa..maybe because I can't forget taste of Shido-san lips" Kurumi answer as she dodge Mio's attack.

' my lips' Shido tough, now Shido remember, Kurumi from five year ago say, right after Shido save Kurumi from Kotori's Gungnir at school rooftop, that time Kurumi have thank Shido by kiss him, but that time Kurumi's affection level is not high enough for sealing to work completely, as result just the power of sixth bullet 'Vav' that get sealed in shidou.

"URRHGGG….!!!!!!?"

Hearing that Shido turn toward the source.

"its seems your fight is end here." Mio said.

Shido saw Kurumi lying on the ground with huge wound in her torso.

"Ugh… its fine, because my purpose is fullfiled already.." Kurumi say

"Arent your purpose is to kill me?" Mio ask, confused.

" Yes, but not just that" Shido answer that before Kurumi could.

"ahhh….its seems Shido-san understand ….." Kurumi clone say as she close her eyes.

"umm….?" Mio tilted her head in bewilderment.

"Her purpose is not just to kill you Mio" Shido say" but also to tell me to not give up !."

" Zafkiel !!!!!!!" Shido call out loud.

A clock appear in his left eye and a flintlock in his right hand.

"Sixt bullet 'Vav' !!" Shido shout as he pour as much mana he have to this bullet.

Shido quickly put the muzzle to his temple and shoot as he see Mio's light band go towards him try to stop him and everything went dark.

Fraxsinus's infirmary wings.

"…..!!!!" Shido eyes jolted open and he take deep inhale of air as he sit on the bed, he swiftly scanning the room, find out that he is in the Fraxsinus infirmary room, the same room he woke after meeting Tohka for first time and he found Tohka sleep on the chair beside him using his thigh as pillow.

"…….Hahhhh" Shido let out his breath as he try to calm himself, ' what time is this?'. He rise his trembling right hand and use it to hold his head.' Did I make it..is everyone alright…..????'. His mind's full of this tough. Then suddenly.

"….Ahhh , you awake Shin." The door slide open and Ratatoskr analtycal officer Murasame Reine come in.

Seeing this Shido's heart and breath become faster and his hand trembling even more. In front of him is Murasame Reine or also known as Takamiya Mio the spirit of origin. She disguise as Ratatoskr analyst officer to make her dream come true.

"Re…Reine-san?" Shido stutter as he try to calm down. In one side he is terrified by her but in other side, his Shinji side, he fell so happy that he can see her again. Both this think make him don't know what to do.

"……." on the other side Reine seeing this as a kind of panic attack because what happen yesterday slowly walk toward Shido.

"…!!" Seeing Reine walk toward him, Shidou can't move his body and his heart running faster.

Reine stand beside his bed and slowly extend her hands to Shido head and hug him tighly to her chest and stroke his hair slowly.

"….!!!!????"

"…Hushhh, calm down….calm down, everything is alright". Shido is surprised by this but he calm down, and his hand stopped trembling and his breath became slower, they stay in that position till Shido's body stop trembling.

"Have you calm yet..?" Reine ask.

"Yes… I.. have calm….. thank you…. Reine-san" Shido manage to say.

"Alright then" She say as she loose her arm and let Shido go.

" what happen….?why am I here…?". Shido ask.

" ne..nee… Shido-kun did you not remember what happen?". Someone ask.

Shido turn toward speaker he see Yoshino, who come here with reine, with her hand covering her flushed face and her eye peeping trough gap between her finger and Yoshino's puppet yoshinon.

"Remember what.?". Shido choose to play along since he still don't know what to do.

"…It seem you suffer mental shock, Shin." Reine say, " its common happen when someone be in verge of death."

"….." Shido title his head with confusion look on his face.

Seeing this Reine say" yesterday, you get caught in the middle of battle against Tokisaki Kurumi on school rooftop." She explain" you get unconscious and bring here."

Hearing this Shido eyes widened, he come back to june about eight months back,' isn't 'Vav' just can send its user a few days back, why I can back for this long?'. Shido though.' Maybe because I put so much mana in it?.'

"is everyone alright.. how about Mana and Origami, it's Kurumi still alive???" Shido ask," and why Tohka is not awake".

"… Everyone is alright, Mana and Origami is recovered by AST members and transferred to JGSDF's Tenguu hospital…… and for Tokisaki Kurumi, she is disappear in the end of battle, I am sure she's still alive" Reine answer him, "and for Tohka she is just tired she will be okay after rest a bit"

"..And that spirit " Shido say, " spirit that appear after Mana get defeated, the flame spirit, isn't she is Kotori…?"

"……Aah, Commander come that time to safe you…" Reine said.

" How can Kotori be a spirit, isn't she is a human?" Shido ask.

"…..That's complicated… better if you ask her yourself.." Reine say.

"Where is Kotori then?" Shido ask.

".. just follow me… can you walk?" Reine says.

"Yeah.. I think I can" Shido say as he rise from infirmary bed a stand up on his feet.

"Okay.. just use that slipper.. your shoes is get burned yesterday ." Reine say as she pointing a pair of slipper beside his bed.

"Okay" Shido say.

" Alright then.. let's go Shin" Reine say as she gestured Shido to follow her with Yoshino behind her.

Shido follow silently. Shido, Yoshino and Reine walk side by side to their destination, no one say a word cause Reine and Yoshino is not type that start a conversation and Shido's mind is full of thinking.

' I made it … I come back……. What I have to do now?,' Shido tough ' is it okay if I tell someone or I have to keep it from every one..?'.

As Shido think about this, he turn his head, looking to Reine , and think' how bautifull', Reine hair is in her usual style with a lock of hair on her face, with her pointed nose and pale skin, despite dark circle under her eyes, she look so beautiful. And Shinji's memory s in him only make it stronger.' maybe better if I think about it later'

Yoshino caught Shido stare at Reine and think' why Shido-san stare at Reine-san like that?,'

They arrive in front off door, Reine inserting her id and the code to unlock the door.

"We are here " she say as she walk into the room" Kotori is there" she pointed forward.

Shido walk to the room and saw Kotori sit on the chair in a room that seems made of glass, sipping that seems to be a tea.

" I will open the door….. you enter and talk to her." Reine say as she entering more code from the console in front of her.

The door open and Shido walk in.

"Ara… Shido, you are awake" Kotori say seeing shido walk in.

"ahh…" Shido say as he sit on chair in front of Kotori.

A silent descended to them with no one say a word.

"Are you will not say something?". Kotori ask after a while.

Shido open his mouth an say " Kotori are you a human? " Shido ask.

"If I say that I am a human will you believe me?" Kotori ask back.

"Ahhhh ... I will believe you" Shido say.

Kotori chukle and say " to believe what people say and not trust what you see is not wise, you know?".

"yes, but if I don't believe you I will be fail as a big brother" Shido say.

Kotori eyes widened and she chukle before say" I am a human or at least that what I believe…. But if you ask that machine out there , it will say that I am a spirit" Kotori stop before say again," I am a human that born in itsuka family, there is no doubt about that, but I turned into spirit 5 years ago."

" isn't spirits and human is different race…… how can human become spirit?" Shido ask despice he know the answer.

" That's true", Kotori say," maybe its more accurate if I say that I am a human that hold spirit power."

" About how that happen I not remember" Kotori finish.

" 5 years ago.. is that third august 5 years ago" Shido ask as she finish.

Kotori eyes wide a little an say," do you remember that day?".

" Just a little," Shido say, " I remember that day I go to department store a bit far from our house to buy something for your birthday, I came back and find you're not in house so I searching for you, but when I looking for you suddenly fire spread out from nowhere and I finally found you near park we usually play and after that I not remember anymore." Shido finish.

As Shido finish Kotori eyes wide more and say, "…. You surprisingly remember that much".

"I just remember it because weird dream I have" Shido say.

"weird dream… what dream? Kotori ask.

Shido tell her a dream he had last time when he talk with Kotori.

"Even if I don't remember crying and calling Oni-chan, but that pretty similar with mine." Kotori say while avoid his eyes and with a bit flush on her cheeks. " maybe when I pull my power from you it also triggered our memory" she said.

" But still, how you became a spirit Kotori?" Shido ask again.

"the thing is I can't remember that at all" Kotori answer.

" How can you forget something so important!" Shido say.

"I don't want hear that from person who forget his little sister is spirit"

"ugh"

"But that's true, I shouldn't have forget such important thing," Kotori say, " event that screwed my life I shouldn't forget it easily, but I forget it, isn't it suspicious, we both not remember that event as if someone erase our memory."

"but who is that person?" Shido ask.

"That just one of probability" Kotori said.

"but that time, isn't you get back to a normal life right after that?" Shido ask.

"yes ,that because Shido seal my power that time" Kotori say, "choosing you as a mediator between spirits and human is because of that. I don't know how but you have power to seal spirits power. Ratatoskr find me after that, that's how its happen"

Again, silent descended in the room, Kotori sipping her tea again until she hear Shido say " you look pretty good with battling that time".

"yeah…. It's a bit surprising I can fight that well" Kotori say," I've in mock battle for several time but its first time I've been in real battle".

"ahhhh that's make me remember something",Kotori say as she stand up,"Shido stand up here"

"ahh" Shido say as he stand knowing what will happen.

"UGH..!!"

Shido groaning as Kotori punch his stomach.

"what the hell are you thinking ..???!!!" Kotori shout " you stand right before 'Gungnir' like that!!. If I not regain consciousness and change the direction in last second you would've dead !!"

"if I don't do that…… you will kill Kurumi". Shido say still hurt from Kotori's punch, "isn't it Ratatoskr's duty to save spirits not to kill them?"

Hearing this Kotori eyes widened and she feel a bit guilty for punching Shido," that's true " Kotori say " but still, jumping right in front of attack like that is too reckless."

"I have told you before right, that you're the most easily die there", Kotori said.

" yeah you have told me, is that because you take your power?" shido said.

"yes, your regeneration power is actually mine, I have to take that to stop Kurumi" Kotori say.

" and you are in this quarantine room, that's mean the power is still with you?". Shido ask.

" yes… its because I take almost all of my mana from you so unlike Tohka, we have to reseal it".Kotori say as she sat again and grab her tea cup. Seeing this Shido sit again across of her.

"and we have to do it fast, taking all that power make me not myself, I fell the urgent to destroy something and to kill someone….. its scary… this power, 5 years ago when I turn into spirit I have caused many destruction and maybe I had kill someone before Shido seal my power…."

"Kotori..." Shido call her.

"never mind. I had say unnecessary thing, the way to reseal my power is same as before, you have to date me, make me fall for you and kiss me." Kotori explain.

Suddenly teacup that Kotori holding fall apart with crack sound and the remaining tea spill on the floor.

"Kotori are you alright?!" Shido ask.

"I am fine, I am fine. This is nothing to worry about" Kotori say while she hold her right hand with her left and hold it under the table.

" I am tired, can you leave me alone please?" Kotori say.

" at least let me check your hand first.."

" Shin…"

The door open and Reine walks in with black bag

"let's end it here for today,… please wait outside, I will take care of Kotori.." Reine say.

Shido follow the instruction and walk past the door, he heard Kotori groan before the door shut, and returning to room was Yoshino at.

Shido look at the quarantine room again before the wall turned white and he can't see through.

After several minutes Reine walk out from the room.

"Reine-san is Kotori alright?" Shido ask.

"..ahh, she is alright, at least for now" Reine say.

"for now…" Shido repeat.

" Shin, two days from now on 22nd june, please go on date with Kotori",Reine say.

"why its have two days from now?" Shido ask.

"because if more than that, Kotori would be unable to withstand the power in her body", Reine say "…. Her relapse is become more frequent, I've use sedative and stabilizer to get her under control for now, but if more than that day Kotori will be not Kotori anymore".

Shido is now in Fraxinus rest room, he sat on the couch with right hand holding his forehead, his mind is full of thinking.

' what should I do now?' he think. What should he do?, Shall he tell someone that he transfer his memories from future?, and how he save everyone from that fate?. Shido mind is full of that though.

While he think about that the room door is open and Tohka walks in.

"Shidoo…!!!" Tohka call him.

"ahhh Tohka" Shido say a bit surprise.

" you have awake, are you feel good Shido?!" Tohka ask cheerfully.

" yeah I am good, I am good." Shido say with smile.

"muu..?" Tohka tilt her head " are you sure Shido?, you don't look so good"

"yeah…" Shido smile faltered a bit "I am good just full of thinking"

"is that about Kotori ?" she ask.

"yeah.." Shido lie. " I just don't know how to deal with it"

"…. I am sure everything will be alright" Tohka say " if it Shido I sure you will find a way, because Shido is never give up when it comes to help people and spirits"

Shido eyes widened when he hear Tohka statement and realize something.

He chuckled before say " thank you Tohka because of you I realize something, now I know what to do" Shido say and he patted her head.

" no problem Shido!!!!" she replied cheerfully.

He walk pass Tohka and get out of the room while thinking ' why I forget about that , is it because of Mio or I just forgetful person?, whatever' he walk to transporter and ask to send to Itsuka residence,' thank you Tohka, for make me remember Ratatoskr way to deal with spirits, Thank you Kurumi, for this second chance . I will make The spirits of origin fall for me and save you all' Shido promised with determination in his eye.
