Finn looked at Jessalyn. They were both sitting outside with their morning coffee. Yesterday had been amazing. They had been like a normal couple going out to eat. In public they had behaved but at home they had been all over each other. He didn't regret it one bit but reality was slowly creeping in. It was Sunday and Damian would come home today.

"Should we talk about yesterday?" He asked.
"Do you wanna talk about it?" She asked.
"I do but I don't know what to say," he said.

She turned her head and looked at him. She didn't look remorseful either. She was smiling and her eyes were sparkling like they had done all weekend.

"I don't regret it," she said.
"Me neither," he said.
"There's just a small problem called Damian," she sighed. "Fuck! I'm a bad person. I never thought I would cheat on a partner. This is not something I've ever done before."
"I won't tell him," he said. "I won't tell you what to do or even ask you to leave him for me. Do I wanna be with you? Yes. So fucking much. You must know by now that I've always had a huge crush on you. I haven't been the best at hiding it. I know that. But the choice is yours. No matter what you end up choosing, I will not tell him anything about what happened between us."
"Thank you," she said.

They both raised their eyebrows when they heard a car pull up outside.

"Is he home already?" He asked.
"Of course he is. We didn't pick up our phones," she said.

Finn was beginning to understand how her home had become a prison to her. Damian might come from a place he saw as good, but it was all bad for her. The front door opened and they heard Damian's voice.

"Jess?" Damian called.
"I hate when he shortens my name," Jessalyn said.
"We're in the garden!" Finn called back.

Damian came walking out and he looked anything but happy.

"When I call, you gotta pick up," Damian said.
"Welcome home, darling," Jessalyn said dryly.
"And you!" Damian stared at Finn. "What the fuck were you thinking bringing her to the fun fair?"
"You know?" Finn asked.
"Of course I fucking know. There are pictures all over social medias of the two of you there. I told you she can't leave the house," Damian said.

Jessalyn stood up and walked back inside. She was not having this conversation in front of Finn. She understood why Damian was scared but she couldn't take it anymore. She walked into the bedroom and listened by the open window that was facing the garden.

"You need to chill," Finn said.
"You don't get a say. You don't know what the fuck happened. You weren't there. This is between me and her. I trusted you to protect her and instead you brought her to a fucking fun fair. There are people there, Finn. Lots of people. She could have been hurt," Damian said.
"How is she gonna move on when you keep her in the role as a victim?" Finn asked.
"She is a victim," Damian said.
"She's a survivor!" Finn raised his voice. "Let her move the fuck on!"
"Get the fuck out of my house!" Damian yelled.
"Fine!" Finn growled. "You don't fucking deserve her! She's a wonderful woman and you can't see how you keep hurting her."

Finn walked into the house, hurried down the hall, and walked out to his car. He sat there steaming for a minute. He needed to gather his composure before driving away. He knew he had been hard with his words but he meant every single one of them.

He finally turned the key and rolled out of the driveway. He looked back up at the house. He hated leaving her there but he would never force her to leave Damian. It was her life and her choice. He started driving down the road and looked up in the rear view mirror.

"What the fuck?" He asked.

He stepped on the brake and turned around in his seat to make sure his eyes weren't deceiving him. Jessalyn came running down the street, waving her arms in the air and yelling his name. She reached the car and jumped into the passenger seat.

"Drive," she said.

He hit the gas and started driving again.

"What is going on?" He asked.
"I left him," she said. "You stormed out of there and I told him that I was leaving too. As always he tried talking over me but I screamed at him to shut the fuck up and that we were done. He didn't say anything. He just stood there looking at me as if he didn't believe me. I didn't care to repeat myself. I'm done. It's not my problem if he doesn't accept it. I'm not going back. I just ran out of the house and chased you down."

She reached over and took his hand.

"So I think you need to repay me the favor since I'm gonna need a couch to stay on for a while," she said.

He snorted in laughter and looked at her.

"As if I'm letting you stay on the couch. You'll be in my bed," he winked. "Preferably under me."
"What if I wanna be on top?" She asked.
"We'll work something out," he grinned. "I'll have you any way you'll let me."
"Good, because doggystyle is my favorite position and I'm way behind on getting my needs met," she said.
"I'll be your fucking slave," he laughed.

She squeezed his hand and leaned over to place a kiss on his cheek.

"So how's single life treating you so far?" She asked teasingly.
"I wouldn't know, love," he said. "I have a girlfriend. You might have heard of her. Her name is Jessalyn and she's the most wonderful woman I've ever met. So kind and funny, and she's really pretty too."
"Am I pretty?" She asked.
"No, I lied. You're fucking beautiful," he said.

He pulled over, grabbed her face, and kissed her passionately.

"I'm leaving for Raw tomorrow morning," he said.
"So is Damian," she said. "Leave your car keys with me and I can drive back tomorrow to pack my things and get them out of his house."
"Deal," he chuckled.
"Will you be okay at work?" She asked.
"Yeah, we're both professionals. Besides, if you stormed out of the house like that, he doesn't know you went home with me," he said.
"He'll probably think I traveled to Arkansas to see my sister. I left my phone back in the house so he won't be able to reach me to ask. I'll pick it up tomorrow too," she said.

He smiled at her and stroked her cheeks. He couldn't believe she had left everything behind to chase him down. She was something else. Something special. And he had never felt more happy than he did in this moment.

"You're fucking amazing," he said.
"So are you," she said.
"You just want your pussy licked," he smirked.
"That too," she laughed. "But you are amazing, Finn. And you're not the only one with a crush. It's been growing these past six months. You've always been there when I needed someone to talk to. You must have known how I feel about you."
"I had a little suspicion," he admitted.
"Falling for you just came naturally," she smiled. "Thank you for giving me the courage I needed to start living again."
