Here is a special chapter for my best friend, cheering section, and unofficial twin. (We are that in sync a lot of the time.) It is a sequel to the story she thought she couldn't write where Kaito died and was brought back with ghost powers. While writing that I wanted to write them saving Kiba eventually and here it is. But while writing this one I found that our "twin power" activated. She let me write her OC Kiba and she has said that it felt like it was HER that had written it. At the tail end of the story, I reference a story that is not mine. Healing Star on AO3. When I showed her the finished story she told me that oddly there was a bit of a matching starting point for both her version of Kiba in that, (he appears in Ch. 16 onward), and this version. And I thought it would be nice to reference it outright. And point everyone to that story too. She is a much better writer than me and don't let her tell you anything different. Anyway, I hope you enjoy this and check out that one if you can.
"What do you think we should do?" Ultra King asked as Henshin Master laid out what Ultra Princess had discovered with the Tojitendo attack on the adult world with the Raptor 283 clone.
"I don't know," he said in frustration. After thinking it all through the idea he had when he first saw the latest attack seemed foolhardy. He turned and saw Ultra Princess watching another world. She didn't even have to but she just wanted to be useful while recovering from seeing heroes die, and then finding it again.
"It is tricky," AkaRed sighed.
"Should we just push their journey to worlds we think the Hakaiger can fight back?" Master Pink asked.
"I thought about that at first. But Kaito would start to fight that," Henshin Master said remembering the finger he gave him shortly after he sent Azu and Izu to him.
"So we do nothing?" Ultra King asked confused.
"No. We have to take a stand somehow. It is spreading too far. The number of worlds that have fallen has grown to the dozens. With the threat of more every day we do nothing nowadays." he sighed.
"What are you thinking?" AkaRed asked.
"They know about us now thanks to Ju. Maybe," he thought for a second more trying to figure out a better idea and not the dozens of ways this was going to blow up in their faces and not coming up with any. "Instead of doing it subtly we do it blatantly and not every time."
"How is that going to work?" Master Pink asked.
"I think I see what he is talking about. If Kaito is confronted face-to-face with us stepping in he might do what we want just to spite us. We tell him what we want he gives us what HE wants. And if we play it he would be giving us what we really want. But overdoing that or we get caught it would piss him off so let them choose where they go just as much as we pick where they go...and hope for the best after that." AkaRed said thinking about how AkaBlue would react.
"So we send someone to talk to them? As if they are a liaison between us and them? To give them missions that we want them to do, but word them in a way that makes him do what we want while thinking that he is getting back at us." Ultra King asked.
"Sounds about right," Henshin Master said and walked over to Ultra Princess. "How are you doing kid?" he asked. She looked at him for a second. Then at her father who looked worried.
"He send you to talk to me?" she asked.
"Should he have?"
"They're worried about me. My mom and dad. They keep saying that I have been withdrawn since I saw...I saw the attack on the Izu and Azu world. Didn't help that I had to tell them I saw another attack on an adult world I was watching. And the fact that I was looking at an adult world in the first place too. In my defense, I was more into the idea of how two different ways to have the same character. That Raptor was a lot like the robotic Raptor found in most worlds. I had seen a few Kyuranger worlds by that point."
"Even if it was for the adult aspects it happens to the best of us sometimes. And it is always a bit of a head-scratcher how many ways to have the same characters. I recently found an OOO's world where Eiji was brought back to life after he defeated the King from 800 years ago as a Greeed. And they're your parents. It's their job to worry." She looked at him.
"I'm fine," she said with a sigh.
"Lie away if you want, kid. What are you watching?"
"I'm not lying," she said forcefully before she took a deep breath. "A rerun," she stated. "The world that caused you to talk to your other selves to save Kiba. I know they saved Kiba a while ago, I just never saw it myself. And wanted to check on them so I was going to watch this first."
"It was a big epic fight featuring some of my best work twice over. Me taking down the bad guys and ME getting me to do it." Henshin Master gloated. And despite herself, she giggled a little. "Can I join you?" he asked.
"If you want," she said dryly.
Tsukasa paced the room as they traveled back to the world where Kaito was killed in the first place. "Would you sit down already?" Kaito said.
"Would you not steal the good silverware?" Tsukasa asked him.
"But it is soo shiny," Kaito joked. Natsumi giggled a little. She was still trying to figure out how she should feel right now. But like Kaito, she was getting annoyed by Tsukasa's pacing.
"Is it the fact that we have a son?" Natsumi asked kindly. Yusuke tripped and spilled everything around him. He had done something like that ever since he had found out about Kiba. But always when someone brought up the little guy.
"I think Baka Rider Kuuga feels left out," Tsukasa said with a smirk as he watched Yusuke pick up the mess he had just made. He walked over to him. And kissed his cheek which was totally out of character for Tsukasa. "Don't."
"Y-You really are nervous about Kiba aren't you?" Yusuke asked.
"Don't know what you are talking about. I just don't want to lose Kaito again." Tsukasa said sitting down with a flourish as he picked up a book. Kaito sat down next to him and took the book away.
"You always say that I am lying to you...now is my turn. You're lying." Tsukasa looked at Kaito.
"...I have no idea how to be a father," Tsukasa said looking away from him.
Kaito turned his face to look at him and kissed him lightly. "Neither do I." He smiled at the love of his life and afterlife after the last few months. "But we'll figure it out together." He smiled as they landed.
"I'm probably the only mother that had two different men's child." Natsumi chuckled kissing each of her lovers once. The collection walked out of the Photo Studio in the same place where their happy journey almost ended...well it did end for several months.
"Uh-oh," Kaito sighed. They turned and saw him walking through a pole to avoid getting run over by a bike. "I really wish I could keep these powers...but even I am getting annoyed with how often this has been happening." He groaned. Ever since Henshin Master had shown up he had been phasing through a few things.
"That is the first step. Can't have our guy sneaking into the vaults of the world and getting trapped because his baka butt couldn't phase back through the vault doors." Tsukasa lead the way to this world's version of the temple that they had been to get him back in the first place.
"Now there is a thought..." Kaito thought for a second before Natsumi pressed a thumb into his neck and he started to laugh out of control.
"Focus baka boyfriend. We ain't losing you again." Natsumi said sternly hooking his arm and dragging him toward the direction of the temple as he laughed his head off.
They barged into the temple not that long after. "Excuse me. You can't just barge in here," Yamanouchi Onari stammered seeing them.
"You the monk that raised Kamen Rider Ghost?" Tsukasa said ego in full blast.
"Y-Yes," he said looking at him.
"Good. Kamen Rider Decade, Kamen Rider Kuuga, Kamen Rider Kiva-La, and the non-dead ghost is Kamen Rider DiEnd." He pointed to all in turn. But he didn't know where Kaito was when he went to indicate him.
"Over here!" They turned to the voice and he was leaning in the door. He wasn't just leaning in the doorway, he was leaning IN the door. Half of him was in the temple and the other half was outside.
"What happened?" Natsumi said running go up to him.
"...I got distracted. There was something...that I wanted to steal in the other one. Thought baka boy would realize I hadn't entered the building yet and hold the door...now I'm stuck."
"I knew you would end up like the little Pooh bear stuck in the honey tree because of your thieving ways one of these days," Tsukasa said with a smirk.
"Are you alright Kaito?" Yusuke asked worried for his boyfriend.
"Y-Yeah...more embarrassed than anything," Kaito growled as he and Natsumi helped him focus as he phased through the door completely.
"I-Is he alright?" Takeru asked as he walked into the main room.
"Peachie," Kaito growled as they fully explained the story.
"We will start to gather the Luminary Eyecons," Onari said and rushed off.
"And what is this about Shocker?" Takeru asked.
"They kidnapped me, took some of my eggs, and fertilized them with DNA from these two. Making...our son," Natsumi said thinking about the fact that her firstborn son was being held by their enemy. She felt connected to the little guy that she couldn't understand. She could feel him here too. So could Kaito and Tsukasa. Kaito placed a hand on her shoulder feeling that she was thinking about their son.
"We've never even met the little guy..." Yusuke said thinking about him.
"We'll get this sorted and help you with getting him," Takeru said with a smile.
"...As much as I want to go in and save the little guy...shouldn't one of us child-proof the studio and get all the things that the little guy needs?" Yusuke asked thinking about two things. One was everything that had happened to everyone and the fact that they didn't have time to prep the place for a baby. "We also need to get a child-proof box for his henshin devices." He thought about it more and the thought that letting a child have a henshin device was a bit dangerous.
"You just don't want to trip and fall with the baby, you accident-prone goofball you," Kaito teased thinking about the number of times he slipped and fell in the last twelve hours. He rubbed the back of his head guiltily.
"It's fine. It's things we will need anyway...could you help him, Takeru?" Tsukasa asked.
"Don't you want help with you three getting your son?" he asked confused.
"No. Because there was another reason why he doesn't want to come with us," he said looking at the man. And the look was serious and Tsukasa's face was dark. "He doesn't want to see the Destroyer of Worlds again." Takeru raised an eyebrow at the nickname.
"Or an angry mother." Natsumi had an almost scarier face thinking about what they could have done to her young son.
"Or a thief that wants revenge for them hurting his treasures." The three parents had matching dark faces that scared Takeru a little.
"...U-Understood."
"What does he mean 'Destroyer of Worlds'?" Ultra Princess asked as she watched them bring Kaito back fully. It was all rather uneventful all things considered. So she felt like she could ask the one person that would know while she watched the mundane stuff.
"Oh that," Henshin Master chuckled at the memory of his own time as Decade and the Destory of Worlds. "Our journeys are similar, as are most Kamen Rider Decade Riders. For a brief time, we killed other Kamen Riders." She looked at him you could tell she was shocked by this. He chuckled at her confusion.
"It's a bit confusing for sure. A man that has sworn to protect other Riders once killed them. But I take solace that they never truly died. I remembered them all and because of that, they were still alive. When I died they were brought back...quirk about being Decade." he chuckled remembering it.
"...Then how are you standing here?" she asked.
"Because my friends remembered me." He looked at her confusion and laughed. "You had to be there I guess." He sighed. "But every time after that time of being the Destroyer of Worlds if I got immensely angry that power or mindset or whatever it was would take over me again. My jewel changes color and...I guess the best way to describe it is that I don't care about justice or protecting people. I just want revenge by any means necessary." She looked at the man that had become her mentor. She was not sure what to think about him.
"Those days are behind me now. Not for him though. So he is going to want to get revenge for the crimes of that group of Shocker. And he definitely got it. I watched it live to make sure I did everything right, as usual." She looked at his smugness and giggled a little. "Just keep watching young Ultra."
Tsukasa, Kaito, and Natsumi barely waited five minutes after he was brought back fully before they headed for the Shocker stronghold. All three of them had a dark look on their faces as they clutched their henshin devices. Each one had a fire in their eyes.
Tsukasa saw the building for the first time and thought about how they had kidnapped Natsumi while getting food with Yusuke. The pain in the young Rider after realizing he had messed up and Natsumi was taken. The rage in his own heart that they would have the audacity to have taken her from him. He then saw Kaito out of the corner of his eyes and remembered the pain when he was dead. And now they had his son.
Kaito had similar thoughts running through his head. The anger about Natsumi. But even more so the despair he saw in the eyes of the loves of his life. The sobs of Natsumi at night when she thought no one was watching after he was gone. How lost Tsukasa was. And how Yusuke blamed himself that whole time. And now they had his son. They hurt all of his treasures. Even his newest little treasure in Kiba.
While Natsumi glared at the building. These very Shocker bastards took so much from her. And it took her so long to even try and get everything back...only to find they had taken even more than she had known. She thought about her son held in that very building. Was he being well taken care of? Were they feeding him? Changing him? If they weren't she was going to make each one scream with pain before she left the rubble the three would leave behind.
"Let's go," Tsukasa said darkly. The three of them held up their individual henshin devices.
"Henshin," they growled angrily. In seconds they were in the building. Decade and DiEnd destroyed anything that had enemies even remotely near them. Chunks of the building went flying.
"ARGH!" Natsumi roared as she ran a Shocker grunt through with her sword. "Hopefully that will show you not to pick on women and children," she growled as he fell over dead.
Decade grabbed a fleeing Shocker grunt and held him in the air by the throat. The purple gem glinted in the light of the hall as DiEnd shot another grunt and Kiva-La slashed through another two at once. "Where are you keeping Kiba?" he growled as he held him in the air.
"I-I don't-ARGH!" he yelled as Kiva-La dug her sword deep into the man's thigh.
"Wrong answer," DiEnd growled.
"H-Honestly I-ARGH!" he yelled louder as DiEnd shot him in the groin.
"Do you want this pain to end?" Decade asked coldly. He whimpered a plea to let the pain end. "THEN TELL US WHERE OUR SON IS." Decade held him close to his helmet. The blood from the shot to the groin mixed with the pee that he did when Kiva-La ran his thigh through with her sword and dripped to the floor.
"Down that hall, take the stairs on the right. Cell number 24. The access code is 52B63O98." the grunt whimpered as he shit himself now too.
"See was that so hard?" Decade said. And then shot him in the gut as he dropped him. "There I ended your pain." The three of them walked over the dead body as they headed for their final destination.
They walked down the hall not finding anyone else. DiEnd chuckled. "I think we scared them."
"Good," Natsumi growled.
They found the stairs and then the cell easily. "If my son is just laying in a cold cell with no one looking after him I am going to find every single person in this building a slice them up," Natsumi growled coldly. As Decade punched in the code they had been given.
The door opened with a click and a hiss. "It's a bit early for lunch isn't it Shiter goons...excuse me I mean Shocker goons." The three of them looked at each other. They walked in confused. But even more confused when they saw what was inside the cell.
"Who are you?" everyone asked at once. In the room was a single cot and a grown man laying on it looking at the three of them he looked like he was almost bored before they arrived. Everyone involved was beyond confused. And trying to figure out what was going on.
"I asked first," the one on the bed said with a smugness about him you could almost feel.
"Oh my God," Tsukasa said as he undid his henshin. The young man just looked at him and stood up.
"Dad?" he asked almost shocked.
"Wait what?" Kaito asked looking at him as he and Natsumi undid their henshins too.
"D-Dad 2?" Kiba asked looking at Kaito.
Natsumi walked up to him and placed a hand on his cheek looking at him. A sense of calm came over everyone there. "Mama?" he asked reaching up to place his hand on hers.
"There's my son," she said a smile on her face and a tear in her eye.
"...I love you too, Ma," he said almost nervously. Both Kaito and Tsukasa saw a bit of themselves in him right now. Especially the effect Natsumi was having on him. That was when they finally heard all of the forces that were in this building troop down the stairs.
"Did my two Dads cause a scene again?" Kiba said as the four of them walked out of the room and he went over to the equipment boxes on the opposite wall.
"Actually, I think Natsumikan caused some of it too." And leaned up against a wall like he was bored. "She can be scary when she wants to be, your Mama," Tsukasa said smugly.
"Remind me never to cross her then will you, Dad?" Kiba said just as smugly with a smirk pulling out a metal lock box and setting it on the table in front of him.
"Do you want me to get that?" Kaito asked seeing him trying to get into the metal box. "I am a bit of a pro at-" There was a click and the box opened.
"So am I. After all, I am YOUR son, Dad 2," he said with a smug smile that matched Tsukasa's perfectly. And Kaito smirked with pride at his son. "Now, everyone stand back. And let these bastards see what happens to those that lock DeStruct in a cage," he said smugly. Kiba smirked as the grunts, soldiers, and whatever monsters there were in the building filed into the cell area. That was when they spotted what was in the box that he had 'rescued' from Shocker. A smartphone.
He held up his newly acquired phone with a chuckle. Hit the power button with a smirk and they saw it wasn't much different than any other phone. But Tsukasa spotted an app that looked like his symbol. He hit the app symbol of Decade. And a deck of virtual cards appeared on his screen. And a belt appeared around his waist. He flicked the DeStruct card upward. "D-D-D-DeStruct!" his phone rang.
"Henshin," he said flipping the phone in the air with a smugness about him. He caught it and inserted his phone into the driver on one side. And like both of his fathers, cards surrounded him and encased him in armor. The Kamen Rider resembled Decade in a lot of ways. Though there was a different chest pattern in an X and the shoulders were pure DiEnd. But he wasn't colored like either of them he was pure gold and had a helmet all his own. It was a bit more streamlined the cards weren't horizontal but vertical over just the visor in his helmet. He carried a box like Decade on his side that reminded all three of them of Tsukasa's card carrier. But it was black and gold and didn't look like it could open the same way as his.
Even with all the differences anyone that saw him knew immediately that he was a Rider connected to Decade even if it wasn't obvious by design. It was his whole posture. He screamed Tsukasa and Kaito right now as he rested a hand on the box. "Shall we get started, boys?"
He freed the box from its holster and flipped it into position. But instead of a sword like his father, it became an ax. And he slashed through a bunch of the grunts and soldiers with ease. He kicked a couple of monsters sending them into the wall as Kaito, Tsukasa, and Natsumi watched.
Natsumi smiled brightly. She was already so proud of her son. He was like both of his fathers already. She watched as he fought off the horde of baddies and she saw a mix of their fighting styles already. Tsukasa eyed his son as he fought while he outwardly rested against the wall but inwardly was ready to jump in to save him at a moment's notice. But as he fought he knew he would be alright and stayed put and watched him. And like Natsumi pride was ready to burst from his smug attitude.
"Our son is amazing," Natsumi said proudly.
"Of course," Tsukasa said with a smirk. "He's my son after all."
"Down boy he's part mine too." Kaito smiled at the boy as he slashed a chunk out of the wall.
"There is a thought," Kiba said with a smile having heard the whole conversation. Without looking down he hit the screen of his driver and his cards reappeared. Without even looking he swapped through the cards until they saw a DiEnd card on the phone screen. He swiped up like before.
"D-D-D-DiEnd." the phone rang. And almost like he swiped him into existence a DiEnd ghost stood next to him. Then turned into pure light particles and then reformed to be a very real version of DiEnd's weapon the Neo Diendriver hovering in front of DeStruct. He grabbed it and fired it like it was his own.
"That's my boy," Kaito said with a smirk making a finger gun and firing it alongside his son's copy version of his weapon. Sparks flew off a monster as the three parents watched with pride for their son.
"I'm getting bored here guys. If you're not going to give me a good fight, maybe it is time for me to leave and find someplace more fun," DeStruct said smugly. He tapped his driver again and found the DeStruct attack card and swiped up.
"Final Attack Ride D-D-D-DeStruct!" It rang as both his ax and the Neo Diendriver glowed. His ax was glowing gold and the Neo Diendriver gun cyan.
He slashed with his ax sending a golden wave of energy and then fired the Neo Diendriver with cyan energy bullets. The two energies merged as they traveled through a series of cards that appeared. And the merged energies smashed into the rest of the Shocker baddies and destroyed them all along with half the building behind them.
"Ooops," DeStruct chuckled as some walls fell down behind the massive blast he caused. "My bad." Natsumi just went up to her son and hugged him tightly. "MAMA!" he yelled. Embarrassed by the embrace from his mother during a fight as he undid his henshin.
"You're not too old for me to give you the Hikari family's 'secret technique' mister," she said sternly.
"Y-You wouldn't?" Kiba asked eyeing her.
"She would." Both men said with a smirk.
Kiba looked at his two fathers and then his mother. And then hugged her back while trying to keep an eye out for enemy soldiers so he didn't get caught hugging his mother in public. "Come on, Yusuke is probably waiting for us," Tsukasa said and then Kaito started to chuckle to himself.
"W-What?" Kiba asked.
"You'll see." Was the only response he got as the four Riders left the rubble of the building that once belonged to Shocker.
"WE'RE BACK WITH KIBA!" Natsumi yelled as the four of them walked into the Photo Studio.
"Great, where is the little guy? I have so many gifts...for...him..." Yusuke said walking into the main area holding a bunch of stuffed animals and baby clothes.
"OH HELL NO!" Kiba groaned as Natsumi, Tsukasa, and Kaito laughed outright.
"Where is Kiba? And who is he?" Yusuke asked as no one could speak because they were laughing so hard. Now even Kiba was laughing.
"I love you anyway, Honorary Dad," he joked having been told about their unique relationship on the way there. Then he spotted the biggest stuffed animal and laughed at the stuffed monkey in his arms. "Fitting gift from you though." And everyone laughed harder.
"Eh?" Then it hit him. He looked at everyone and then at Kiba. And fainted again.
"If he keeps that up I am going to have to make him wear a helmet all the time," Tsukasa said with a smile looking at his out cold lover.
"Welcome home, Kiba," Natsumi said with a smile dragging him deeper into the Studio.
"You were right about how dark you, eh...he...whatever," Ultra Princess sighed in frustration trying to straighten it out in her head. "You were right about how dark things were about to become."
"Actually, that was tame by some standards." Henshin Master said as she switched to a live feed of the burgeoning family. Yusuke was conscious and laughing with Kiba as they talked.
Everything was peaceful. And they were all happy and traveling. "Why was he an adult though?" she asked him.
"Can't have an infinite weapon can you? They wanted a weapon, not a baby. What they needed Natsumi's egg for was to fill in the female segments of the DNA of Kiba in a way. I told them that they fertilized her eggs because that was the simplest way to explain the birth without a science degree. Kaito could get confused with all that."
"Don't let AkaBlue hear you say that," AkaRed said with a chuckle. Henshin Master ignored him and went on with the explanation.
"That was why they only needed DNA from Tsukasa and Kaito to make him. Figuring that they could have the best of both worlds. But he was like both of us and a pain in their ass the whole time. We needed them to save him because they were going to try and strip him of his soul, his essence. And make a soulless Rider that they could use to assassinate Riders when and wherever they wanted." He sighed. "It's happened before with another Kiba. He now has a form of PTSD and is depressed a lot of the time. Even with his friends among the Kyuranger he has found himself with."
She looked at him thinking about what he was saying. Shocked again by this news. "This way another Kamen Rider is born fighting as most Riders should against forces like Shocker not with them. And this Kiba doesn't have the issues of his multiversal twin. Like the Azu and Izu who survived the Tojitendo attack you watched."
She thought about everything for a minute. "It still hurts you know," she said not taking her eyes off Kiba. Her father was still eyeing her as he half-watched an Ultra world.
"Good." She looked at him. "If it didn't hurt, you wouldn't have a heart. And heart is what it takes to do this job."
"H-How do you handle losing a world?" she asked timidly.
He looked at her and thought for a minute. "You never learn how to handle things like that." She looked at him. "You learn how to make it so no one feels that pain ever again. Like with Kiba here. He doesn't have to face the pain of having the memories of killing Riders or trying to kill his dads. He is safe and happy with his new family. Which is why we need to work with the Hakaiger now. To stop more pain from happening."
"C-Can I be the liaison?" she asked.
"I don't see a problem with that. But you should ask your dad. And if he fights it point this out to him. Two of their number were the two you laughed with and loved for that time you watched before you watched their world fall to hell. And helping them can bring you closer to closer in a way." he said looking at her.
"Thank you," she said as she watched Natsumi putting food in front of Kiba with a smile of a mother.
"Any time, kid," he sighed. "Any time."
