This is Chapter 7.5 of Tales of the Decade Second Season. Please enjoy it like a fan for Kamen Rider.
Chapter 7.5: World of Peace and Stage
Decade continues slashing down multiple Dai-Shocker monsters, even doing a kick without looking at one who is coming at his back and his kick launches it into the sky before he's slashed by a magenta energy slash. He swipes the end of his sword, staring down at Apollogeist who charges at him. Decade does the same, clashing blades as sparks fly out. They swing and reflect blades, clashing over and over trying to find supremacy over the other.
The two back away as Decade notices as Gaim is being assaulted by an enemy rider.
''Still weak! Just like the last Gaim was too.'' Duke proclaims, thrusting his spear lance upon him over and over as sparks fly out across Gaim's body. He's thrusted into the air and hits the ground in pain. Duke snickers, going to finish him off until Zangetsu suddenly leaps down before him followed by Ryugen. He looks down at Gaim, grunting at his weakness.
''What is the meaning of this, Duke?'' Zangetsu questions his ally with a firm tone. Duke just scoffs, shaking his head as he responds. ''Zangetsu, I was hoping you wouldn't be watching. I was going to surprise you with Gaim's head.''
''I told you many times to you; I don't wish to kill him.'' Zangetsu warns him, not going to allow him to do as he pleases. After all, he's the reason why he ended up being Gaim.
Duke looks at him and then at Zangetsu's soldiers surrounding him. He scoffs, finally responding. ''… Shame, that's why I pick my side.'' He snaps his fingers as multiple Dai-Shocker monsters surround Zangetsu and Ryugen after killing off their soldiers.
''This army is made by the help of Dai-Shocker and we achieve what you fail to do; manifest the Golden Apple!'' Duke begins to proclaim, holding up his left hand and for a moment; a flash of golden light shines in the form of an apple. This shocks the two as well as Natsumi's group, mainly the fruit farmer with a firm stare.
''H-how?'' Ryugen questions in disbelief since his brother has been searching for ways to obtain the apple and none have worked. Duke just snickers evilly as he holds up a chain of multiple Lockseeds, belonging to the other warlords.
''Why, with the other Lords.'' Duke proclaims, snickering before he corrects him. ''Well more like their Lockseeds. The actual lords are unnecessary.''
This horrifies Ryugen while Zangetsu remains calm, now understanding what has happened to them.
''And you two will join them.'' Duke proclaims, picking up the damaged Gaim as he slashes him again and again. Zangetsu and Ryugen can't do a thing as the Dai-Shocker foot soldiers attack them on all sides, making it impossible for them to move or get away.
Decade, still clashing against Apollogeist, overhears what that Duke said and now understands what the problem of this world is.
''Now I get the gist of your plan, Apollo.'' Decade proclaims with Apollogeist scoffs confidently. ''It was pointless to merely pick one lord so I pick the one that wanted the most power, one with no hesitation or second thought of his actions.''
This makes sense to Decade; one heartless being working with the very organization that is as heartlessly cold. But that means his fight against him is pointless. He has to help Gaim before-
''SURE SURE SHOOTING!'' Apollogeist turns around fast, managing to repel and slash away energy shots belonging to Zi-O.
''Tsukasa, go help Gaim and the other Armored Riders.'' Zi-O tells Decade who scoffs, was planning to do that anyway. He runs off to help Gaim but Apollogeist tries to stop him until Natsumi shouts. "Absol, stop him!"
''Absol!'' Layla barks, appearing in front of the monster and she swings her horned head, unleashing Night Slash. Apollogeist blocks the attack but it knocks him backwards.
Decade rushes towards Gaim as the Dai-Shocker monsters intercept him. He leaps upward, dunking a card into his Decadriver.
''SUPER KAMEN RIDE!'' The Decadriver announces as Decade transforms into Kuuga's super form, delivering a Rider Kick across one of the monsters. ''KUUGA AMAZING MIGHTY!''
The kick launches said monster onto the rest before they all explode by the sheer power of Kuuga.
Duke approaches the damaged Gaim, aiming his sword lance downward at his head.
''Time to join her, lord.'' He proclaims, raising his lance for the finishing-
''FINAL ATTACK RIDE! KUUGA!'' Duke staggers, turning and watches in horror as Decade-Kuuga is right before him, extending his right fist and throws it forward, connecting across his chest. The impact blows Duke backwards, sparks flying all over his body before crashing onto a tree.
''GAAAWWW!'' Duke cries out in agony, falling forward and barely gets onto one knee. He hisses in pain, never feeling such an attack.
''T-Tsukasa-san.'' Gaim utters, lifting his head up at Decade-Kuuga who swipes the back of his Ride Booker before he swings around and fires a magenta energy slashes that cut through each of the Dai-Shocker foot soldiers fighting Zangetsu and Ryugen, helping them.
The two face Decade who asks them. ''Truce?'' Ryugen eyes Zangetsu who nods. Decade snickers, hoping that would be the case as he twirls the Ride Booker into gun form and then slides a card into his belt.
''ATTACK RIDE! BLAST!'' The Decadriver announces as Decade aims upward and fires a volley of energy shots that drop downward like a rain shower and scatter across the battlefield, hitting the ground and creating multiple explosions.
The explosions cover the battlefield as Duke grunts as does Apollogeist. Soon the dust settles and Decade is gone along with his allies and Gaim and his forces. Even Zangetsu, Ryugen and the defeated Baron were all gone too.
Snarling, Duke mutters angrily. ''The pests got away.''
Apollogeist looks around and scoffs, not at all worried, as he proclaims. ''No matter, I have enough data to complete the fruit now.''
Duke snickers, holding his left palm forming the golden fruit, gazing at its incomplete state. ''And soon this land-'' He begins to say but immediately corrects himself. ''No, this world will be mine!''
Gaim, de-transformed, breathes heavily as he and the others return to his fortress thanks to Decade's plan.
''Good call about the retreat.'' He praises Tsukasa's tactical plan. Dragonic agrees, really clever from his end.
''F-Fool!'' Baron utters, still recovering from his wounds but still mocks their cowardly retreat. ''You should have attacked them than saving him.''
Gaim is silent about it but Tsukasa speaks up harshly at the so-called warlord. ''Last I checked; this has nothing to do with you.'' He then smirks, mocking him. ''Especially after Kaito got the best out of you and played you.''
Baron growls enraged by his words.
''Don't blame him.'' Gaim protests, still frowning at his weaknesses. ''It was my fault. I froze, reminded of my mistakes.''
Tsukasa looks at him with his arms crossed, also noticing it. He gives him a look, wanting to know.
Seeing that he saved him, Gaim doesn't have much choice but to tell him… his failure.
''… I became Gaim after my friend Yuya was Gaim and was killed by Zangetsu.'' He begins to tell Tsukasa and the others of the origin of rule. Ryugen eyes his older brother who remains silent with his arms crossed.
Tsukasa groans, figuring it was something grim. It also explains his attitude; he wasn't a warlord before and no doubt became one from this Yuya passing on the title to him.
Indeed, it was that as Gaim felt unworthy for such a title to become Gaim but Yuya… in his last words; he entrusted his legacy to him. He didn't want to, grieving for his passing but he had no choice for those counting on him.
''So I fought in his memory and as much as I hated it, I had no choice.'' Gaim expresses, trying his best to fight like Yuya would have but it only caused him more misery and depression. For each battle, for each warlord he fought; he became more and more hardened. He wished to no longer follow that path but someone helped him to realize his mistake.
''I also did it for someone I had cared for, Mai… Until the bitter end.'' Gaim proclaims with a somber tone, looking at Ryugen. He frowns. He and Mai were close but he never had the courage to express his feelings towards her especially since she was with the new Gaim. He's tried, trying to beat Gaim in the past but he could never beat him.
Tsukasa now understands, finally saying. ''I get the gist. She died and it was Duke, wasn't it?''
Gaim is shocked but nods with a frown. During the last fight he had against Ryugen, Duke tried to kill him with a sneak attack and Mai… she threw herself to protect him. She died in his armies.
''And that's why you're angry towards Gaim, Baron." Tsukasa then says, staring at the other warlord. "You had feelings for her.''
Baron doesn't say a word, just snarling. Tsukasa eyes the other two lords and asks them. ''And what of you two?''
''Mai was a friend too…'' Ryugen proclaims somberly. For a long time, he blamed himself for letting that happen. If he wasn't so obsessed; maybe… she would still be alive. Zangetsu doesn't say a word, having felt responsible for the woman's death because of Duke's actions… and even before after he killed the first Gaim. It was Duke's idea and instead of sparing him; he took a life he didn't have to.
''You wanted to achieve peace in her memory then.'' Tsukasa then questions Gaim, getting why he's doing the impossible and yet failing because of the past. ''But you can't do that if you continue blaming yourself for her and Yuya's deaths.''
Scowling tightly, Gaim begins to show his dread. He was just a simple man, not even a soldier and he was on that battlefield at the wrong time.
''I never asked to become a lord. I just…'' He begins to express, saddened by all the pointless fighting and deaths, including the ones he also committed, even undirected.
''I hate fighting but I had to. What kind of coward am I?'' He questions, finding disgust in himself.
''… None.'' Gaim looks up, eyeing Tsukasa who gets his suffering. ''You're just honoring the memory of the dead.'' He then advises him. ''But you can't let it drag you. Even your dead comrades would tell you otherwise.''
Gaim stares at him, surprised by his words as if he understands his suffering.
''Putting on such a weight is just as good as you being dead. Trust me…'' Tsukasa begins to say, narrowing his eyes downward as he had a flashback of Sayo's death and how much he hated himself for a long time until he moved on. And yet, that will never leave him for that is his own sin but a sin he's accepted. ''I know that pain.''
Natsumi looks at him, frowning as she can tell he's talking about his sister.
Adjusting himself confidently, Tsukasa tells the warlord. ''So become a true lord, naive by those who mock you, and make that pain, those losses become your strength.'' He oddly cracks a smirk and says with a small smirk. ''And fight in their memory with no regrets. Live for more.''
Gaim is baffled yet in awe. He looks at his hand that is gripping on the Lockseed. He doesn't want to give up, not while their memories and wishes are with him, no regrets.
The farmer oddly smiles at Tsukasa's words, encouraging him and he'll need it.
''Lord Gaim!'' The group turns to see a foot soldier enter the room and informs them. ''Duke and his army are advancing here!''
Gaim gets tensed up, knowing this next battle will decide it all.
Smirking as he'll need a change of clothes, Tsukasa declares as he walks out. ''Time to prove your worth, Naive Lord.''
He eyes him and nods, marching out too. Ryugen watches, eyeing his brother and Zangetsu nods; they'll help him too.
After half an hour, a massive army of Dai-Shocker foot soldiers gaze ominously towards the fortress with Duke leading them. He watches as finally, Gaim approaches with Tsukasa and the other riders beside him. Duke is surprised that Zangetsu no less than Ryugen are present to help him.
''So you've came.'' Duke proclaims, expecting they would run away. Adjusting his vest, Tsukasa is wearing his regular, casual clothes as he proclaims cocky-like. "Of course, we're not cowards."
That last word gets under Duke's skin, clenching his fist.
''Let's get to the point: Surrender to me and your Lockseed or else.'' Duke demands, sounding almost irritated. Gaim glares at him, not going to let that happen as he proclaims. ''… Many I care about were already killed. I don't plan to surrender!''
Ryugen eyes him, looking down at himself and nods; going to speak up.
''I never blame Gaim for Mai's death…'' He begins to say to Gaim's confusion before Ryugen then says furiously at Duke. ''Her loss hit him harder than me, unlike a coward like you! I won't forgive a coldness monster that you are!''
Zangetsu agrees with him as he also speaks up. ''Duke, my biggest regret is having someone like you do as you pleased.''
''A little late to regret.'' Duke mocks him but he snicker, proclaiming. ''But no matter! I will kill you all with my full power.''
He soon pulls out a unique black Lockseed with Dai-Shocker's insignia.
''Dai-Shocker had already given me the needs to create this Lockseed. Now the eternal power of the Golden Fruit will be mine!'' He proclaims proudly, thrusting it into the slot of his Sengoku Driver. He soon flips the lever as the Lockseed releases golden light before becoming dark green to his surprise.
''W-what the-'' Duke utters in shock as his body begins to react, screaming in horror before vines wrap around him out of nowhere and erupt dark green; becoming an Inves Overlord that resembles Duke but monstrous. This shocks everyone as Apollogeist walks forward and laughs ominously.
''Hehe, yes, eternal power for Dai-Shocker!'' He proclaims proudly for the result of his fruits. Tsukasa scoffs as he questions him. ''I'd assume this is part of your plan, Apollogeist.''
The monster snickers, nodding as he answers him. ''Precisely. It is impossible for a mere human to wield the Golden Apple.'' He then turns to the transformed Duke whose eyes glow of obedience. ''But as an Overlord, it is a different story. An Overlord who is loyal and obedient to Dai-Shocker!''
''So a monster I can put down!'' Tsukasa declares, strapping on the Decadriver.
''I won't let you ruin our plans, Decade!'' Apollogeist declares furiously, ordering his Overlord. "Kill them!"
Overlord Duke obeys, walking forward as he snaps his fingers. Multiple wormholes open up as multiple Inves emerges from them. He soon charges at Gaim, barely able to transform as he's grabbed by the neck and slams him away. Tsukasa staggers, trying to chase after them but the Inves intercept.
''Behold, the power of Helheim I wield now!'' Apollogeist announces proudly before he commands the Inves monsters. ''Kill him!''
The Inves all charge forward at the group. Tsukasa prepares to transform but then the fruit farmer walks forward. He just gazes at the Inves who all suddenly freeze up by his presence.
This confuses Apollogeist as he commands enraged. ''I say kill him!''
The monsters do not answer, at all.
''Sorry, they won't listen to your orders.'' The fruit farmer responds, twirling his wrist and suddenly the Inves are all sucked back in their portals. This shocks Apollogeist, not understanding it but Tsukasa did, proclaiming with a small smirk. ''Of course, you're the real Gaim. You're a decent fruit farmer, Orange.''
The farmer smiles, amazed he saw through him and advises him. ''Talk later! I got this!''
Tsukasa smirks as he runs off as he summons his horse and leaps on top of it, riding it away.
Apollogeist grunts as his Dai-Shocker minions come charging at the group, pulling Zangetsu and Ryugen away.
Natsumi panics but the farmer suddenly straps on a Sengoku Driver and holds up two orange colored Lockseeds, inserting them into his belt after raising them up over his head and thrusts them down.
''KACHIDOKI! LOCK ON!'' The Sengoku Driver announces as he shouts, flipping the knife lever. ''Henshin!''
''SOIYA!'' The Sengoku Driver declares as the giant metal orange manifests above him followed by another, unfolding and wraps around him. ''KACHIDOKI ARMS!'' His body glows and transforms into Gaim in his heavy armor samurai Kachidoki form. ''INTO BATTLE! EI EI OU!''
Natsumi gasps in astonishment with Sougo watching, knowing he won't be needed. She eyes ahead where Tsukasa is riding the horse and frowns, running off to give him a real speedy ride and Layla follows her.
Apollogeist grunts as he charges along with the foot soldiers. Gaim reaches on both shoulder backs and wields the flag-like weapons. He comes at them, swinging and slashes a few monsters down while reflecting a swing from Apollogeist and launches him backwards.
The flag-like weapons start erupting in orange-like fiery energy before Gaim swings them. He fires orange energy waves that blasts the monsters and nearly destroys them all.
Gaim then summons forth the Hinawadaidai-DJ-Ju and starts spinning the disk part of the weapon like a disco disk. He takes aim with the large gun weapon and fires a barrage of rapid orange blasts, blasting them instantly. Multiple Dai-Shockers fly out before exploding while Apollogeist backs away, panting.
Gaim then pulls out the Kachidoki Lockseed and locks it on his weapon.
''LOCK ON!'' The Sengoku Driver announces as Gaim holds his gun forward, swirls of energy gathering before he presses the trigger. ''KACHIDOKI CHARGE!'' He fires a large ball of energy right at Apollogeist who tries to block it but the attack is too much and explodes on impact. He falls backwards, grunting badly wounded.
''This is not over!'' Apollogeist proclaims as an Aurora Curtain forms and overlaps him, vanishing.
Tsukasa rides fast on his horse after the distant Overlord and he's just too far away.
''Come on, slow horse!'' He yells at the horse but it can't keep up. He grunts, going to need to transform into Kabuto and-
''Tsukasa-kun!'' He blinks, turning to his side and startles as it's Natsumi, driving on his Machine Decader while wearing his helmet, with Layla managing to lay on her back. ''Absol!''
Tsukasa sees this and smirks, thanking her. Natsumi smiles as she times it and pulls back quickly, holding on Layla's paws, as Tsukasa leaps off the horse and lands on the front of his bike. Gripping on the handles of his bike, ramming on the speed on the Machine Decader while Natsumi grabs tightly on his waist.
''Told you teaching me how to drive the bike was a good idea!'' Natsumi expresses with a grin with Layla barking with a smile. Tsukasa smirks, responding. ''Not complaining.''
He drives at full throttle, actually catching up to the Overlord. Duke sees them and slams Gaim onto the ground before he turns and fires spheres of energy at them. Tsukasa drives around the spheres before stopping on his tracks. Overlord growls, firing a blast but Layla blocks with Protect, stopping the attack.
''Damn worms!'' Overlord Duke yells out, coming at them but Layla charges at him with Psycho Cut. He catches the bladed beam and shatters it.
''DRAGONAUN CLAW!'' Overlord Duke turns and suddenly he's slashed across the chest by a large purple energy claw swipe belonging to Dragonic, slamming the monster backwards. He gasps in pain, his chest bleeding with large, deep wounds.
The dragon flies next to Tsukasa and the others, smirking as he says. ''Sorry, couldn't help it.''
Tsukasa smirks, not minding it as he gets off the bike as well as Natsumi.
''You know, it surprises me how people like you desire power and then they become monsters. Kinda poetic.'' He begins to say, mocking the human now turned into a monster just for power. He walks over to Gaim, pulling him up.
''That doesn't matter to me! I am a God!'' Duke proclaims proudly, laughing evilly. Tsukasa faces him and calls him out coldly. ''A God? What's a god to a Destroyer?''
Duke growls, about to come at him but Tsukasa shoots him down with bullet shots from his Ride Booker, pushing him back.
''Gaim has gone through hardship and loss to fight for those he couldn't save while all you did is slaughter and used trickery to get what you want, like a coward.'' Tsukasa calls him out, seeing Gaim as someone who stands above a god than someone who's more like a biting hound. ''Your "Godly" being doesn't compare to the warrior that Gaim is. You're a coward and one destined to godly lose.''
That actually hit Duke hard, never insulted like this in his whole life.
''You…'' He begins to say, containing his fury until it explodes angrily. ''Who the hell are you, Ronin?!''
Smirking, Tsukasa pulls out his Rider Card and declares with a smug smirk. ''I'm no Ronin. I'm a passing-through Kamen Rider.'' He points with his free hand. ''Remember that!''
Gaim eyes him and nods, declaring as he adjusts his belt and grips on his Lockseed. ''Let's go.''
Tsukasa nods as the two shout in union. ''Henshin!'' He dunks his card while Gaim inserts the Lockseed into his belt.
''SOIYA! ORANGE ARMS!'' The Sengoku Driver announces as Gaim transforms into his rider form.
''KAMEN RIDE! DECADE!'' The Decadriver announces with Tsukasa wiping his hands as he transforms into Decade.
Overlord Duke roars as he comes charging as does both riders with their sword weapons, slashing against the Inves transformed lance. The three lock and clash, sparks flying out as Gaim manages to slash him with the Musou Saber and Decade follows with twin slashes.
Duke staggers back, wounded but he regenerates it.
''These injuries mean nothing!'' He declares furiously, summoning vines and shoots at them. Both riders slash the vines but then Duke fires multiple spheres that blasts them and then the vines wrap around them and slam them over and over onto the ground.
''My body will adapt and become stronger!'' Duke proclaims proudly, laughing until a shot hits him in the head. Decade hits him and then Gaim slashes the vines, freeing them.
''Power like that will not stop us!'' Gaim declares loudly, not accepting this and vows, gripping his fist as he remembers Yuya ad Mai. ''For those still alive and those in our hearts; I will fight for a brighter future!''
Snickering, Decade agrees as he responds. ''My thoughts exactly.'' Suddenly multiple cards shoot out from his Ride Booker and he catches them. He eyes one of the cards and nods, dunking it into his belt.
''FINAL FORM RIDE!'' The Decadriver announces as Decade gets behind Gaim and warns him. ''This might tickle.''
Gaim doesn't follow until Decade shoves both hands into his back. His body glows as he folds up and transforms into the armored orange. He floats over Decade and unfolds, attaching a shogun's like armor that resembles Gaim's armor across Decade's body including with helmet. His Ride Booker is attached with pieces that resemble the Hinawadaidai-DJ-Ju. ''GAIM!''
Decade flinches his fingers and hands, snickering as the armor is really impressive. ''I like this.'' He turns and comes marching at Duke. The Overlord begins firing spheres and vines but Decade slashes the spheres through with his sword and follows it by firing a barrage of fiery energy shots, burning all the vines. This shocks the Overlord as he comes at him with a lance swing but Decade dodges to the slide and then he slashes him across the chest, actually wounding him.
Duke staggers back, gasping as he bleeds out. ''T-This can't be…'' He begins to utter before he becomes madder and lets out a furious yell, unable to accept this. ''I WIELD THE GOLDEN APPLE! I AM A GOD!''
Decade snarls as he takes aim and fires a beam from his weapon, pushing him backwards and long enough to thrust a card into his belt.
''FINAL ATTACK RIDE!'' The Decadriver begins to announce as twirls of magenta and orange energies wrap around the blade of his weapon. He comes charging as Duke tries to blast him with his apple but Decade fires a concentrated beam from his armored sword and actually sends the apple flying off his hand to his dismay.
''What did I just told you?'' Decade reminds him again before he swings downward and with a mighty slash through him. ''GAIM!''
''WWAAAA!'' Duke lets out a painful scream as orange and magenta color energies flash through his wounded body, overwhelming him and then he explodes, destroyed completely.
Decade scoffs as the armor glows and splits off him while reverted back to Gaim, taken back by surprise.
''It's over.'' Decade proclaims, wiping his hands together. Gaim nods but he does say, walking towards where the glowing apple was flying off to. ''Not until the Golden Apple is destroyed-''
He approaches and startles, not seeing it. Decade checks around and he can't see it.
''It's gone!'' Gaim utters in dismay but Decade just assumes. ''Guess it was destroyed.''
Gaim isn't sure but it must have. At the least, it is over.
Things have become peaceful after a long battle. An agreement forms between Gaim and Zangetsu, going to stop their war for a pointless-now-destroyed myth and will create their own future. Baron also agreed though grumpy since he can't transform anymore.
''Thank you again, Tsukasa-san.'' Gaim thanks Tsukasa for all he's done. Tsukasa smirks as he responds. ''I'm glad your new order of peace will come true, Nai- Lord Gaim.''
Gaim nods, expressing happily. ''I will with my comrades.''
Tsukasa feels the same, eyeing Natsumi and the others.
''Good luck with your dreams, Lord Gaim.'' He tells him, leaving this world's future to his hands. Gaim smiles, thinking for a moment before he tells him his real name. ''It's Kouta.''
Tsukasa smirks, nodding as he says. ''Take care then, Kouta.''
Kouta smiles back, planning to. Now he can face his future without any doubt.
The group leaves the fortress before Tsukasa turns around, seeing Kouta is respecting the Graves of the fallen, including his closest friends. He smiles a bit, taking a photo with his camera of this moment: Reminding him that sacrifices equals growth.
Once they were away from the fort, Tsukasa eyes Natsumi and tells her humbly. ''Thanks for the help again, Natsumikan.''
Natsumi smiles warmly, happy to-
''Don't get involved or fight Dai-Shocker.'' She immediately staggers, eyeing him who looks at her seriously about his demand. She's never seen Tsukasa so concerned, well not since she was "kidnapped" in the A.R. World of Agito.
''Promise me.'' Tsukasa even asks her honestly, never asking her anything so not-like-him. Natsumi stares at him, not understanding it herself fully but she nods, respecting his wishes. ''… Okay.''
Dragonic eyes him, also never seeing Tsukasa so protective. Whatever it is; he'll become worried.
''Thanks for helping them, Tsukasa.'' The group stops and turns to eye the fruit farmer. Tsukasa scoffs with a small smirk before responding. ''Someone had to help you're A.R. self, Kouta.''
The farmer smiles, revealing his name to him. ''You're right. You can call me by my real name, Kouta Kazuraba.'' He then becomes serious, proclaiming. ''But I am also…'' He waves his right arm and suddenly his appearance alters, now becoming blond haired and wears a white outfit resembling a knight or king with silver armor. ''The Man of the End.''
This shocks Natsumi, gasping with bright, aroused cheeks as well as Layla.
''… He's a blond prince charming Orange knight.'' Tsukasa mutters, not sure what to feel with the look. He really prefers the old look but he's not complaining. ''Shogun-ruler.'' He then thinks and questions him. ''You took the Golden Apple, didn't you?''
Kouta smles, becoming serious as he holds his right hand and manifests the Golden Apple before it vanishes.
''This world shouldn't suffer by the Golden Apple's power.'' He expresses, feeling the same like his A.R. Self.
''This is what a real Golden Apple wielder is.'' Sougo proclaims with Dragonic nodding. Tsukasa agrees as he then asks Kouta. ''And let me guess, I must fight you.''
The godly being frowns, not wanting to but he's seen the power of Dark Decade; a real monster compared to this world's Duke.
''I don't want to but even my powers will not stop Dark Decade. I've tried.'' He explains, doing his best at the time but he could only push him back. Thinking back on what Tsukasa warned this world's Duke, Kouta then says. ''If a Destroyer can kill a god, then a Destroyer can kill a Conqueror. Right?''
Tsukasa stares at him quietly for a moment before he smiles. He pulls out his Decadriver and straps it on.
''I don't intend to disappoint you, Orange.'' He vows, going to give him a fight. Kouta smiles, nodding as he snaps his fingers and the group startles that they're in an abandoned space; one that both riders can fight.
Kouta, now wielding his Sengoku Driver as he holds up the Orange Lockseed and thrusts it downward into his belt.
''ORANGE!'' The Orange Lockseed, with the same voice as the Sengoku Driver, announces excitedly. ''LOCK ON!''
Natsumi watches, concerned but she has to let this happen.
Tsukasa taps on a Rider Card and thrusts it into his belt.
''Henshin!'' Both shout as Tsukasa pushes the levers of his belt forward as well as Kouta flipping the knife lever.
''KAMEN RIDE!'' The Decadriver announces as Tsukasa becomes Decade. ''DECADE!''
''SOIYA! ORANGE ARMS!'' The Sengoku Driver announces as the giant armored orange appears over Kouta and unfolds, transforming him into Gaim as he wields both the Daidaimaru and Musou Saber. ''PATH THROUGH THE AUDIENCE ON STAGE!''
Decade snickers, wielding the Ride Booker sword form.
''Let's, Orange-kun.'' He declares, swiping the back end of his sword before he comes charging at Gaim who does the same. The two clash, sparks flying out between their blades. They swing and clash over and over, out swinging the other while evading their strikes. They then swing blades and the strike pushes the other back.
Decade oddly snickers as he pulls out a Rider Card and dunks it into the belt.
''ATTACK RIDE! SLASH!'' The Decadriver announces as Decade comes charging while his sword engulfs in magenta energy. Gaim sees it coming and flips the lever.
''ORANGE SQUASH!'' The Sengoku Driver announces as Gaim charges and swings both swords, engulfed in orange energy. The two clash once more and release a burst of orange and magenta energies. Blades still lock as Decade and Gaim are evenly matched as they pull back.
''How about this!'' Gaim shouts rather excitedly, holding a Strawberry Lockseed and inserts it into his belt.
''LOCK ON!'' The Sengoku Driver announces as an armored strawberry manifests and slams over Gaim's head, changing his armor into a red Strawberry-like design with strawberry slice daggers. ''SOIYA! ICHIGO ARMS! SHUSHUTTO SPARKLE!''
Gaim comes at Decade, swinging faster than the magenta colored rider as he's slashed multiple times and flies backwards, hitting the ground.
''Oh ho.'' Taunting as he pulls himself upward, Decade wipes the dirt on him as flips the Ride Booker in gun form and dunks a card into his belt.
''ATTACK RIDE! BLAST!'' The Decadriver announces as Decade takes aim and fires a volley of energy shots at Gaim, trying to reflect the shots but they eventually hit across him and blasts him backwards. He rolls himself upward, panting that Decade is no pushover. He holds up a yellow, pineapple shape Lockseed as he inserts it into his belt.
''LOCK ON!'' The Sengoku Driver announces as an armored pineapple manifests above him and slides itself onto Gaim's head, transforming his armor again into a spiky pineapple-like armor with a wrecking chain ball in the shape of a pineapple. ''SOIYA! PINE ARMS! PULVERIZE DESTROY!''
Gaim starts swinging the massive ball as Decade fires but the weapon expands and reflects the beams with ease before it hits him and multiple sparks fly out across his body. Decade is pushed back but he then pulls out another Rider Card and dunks it into the belt.
''KAMEN RIDE! BLADE!'' The Decadriver announces as Decade transforms into Blade, wielding the Blay Rouzer. He then holds up two more Rider Cards and slides them each into his belt.
''ATTACK RIDE! METAL! LIGHTNING'' The driver announces as Decade-Blade's armor becomes metal and he comes at Gaim who swings the wrecking ball and hits him across only for the metalized body to reflect the ball and then Decade slashes Gaim with electricity coursing through the blade. Sparks fly out heavily across Gaim, launching him backwards so that it knocks him into his main form.
He rolls and pulls himself up. Gaim breathes as he holds up a Cherry Energy Lockseed and locks it on a secret slot on the left side of his belt.
''CHERRY ENERGY! LOCK ON!'' The Sengoku Driver announces as new armor manifests and slides over Gaim's head. ''SOIYA! MIX!'' Instead of replacing the Gaim armor, it combines the Orange and Cherry, becoming a new armor as Gaim wields a red-silver bow-like weapon. ''JIMBER CHERRY!''
Gaim immediately starts firing energy bow shots that Decade-Blade slashes them and rolls around them only for Gaim to dash at him with fast speed in the form of a red blur, slashing him so hard with the weapon that it sends him flying backwards. Gaim takes aim again at Decade-Blade in the air with the bow, charging up a shot and firing it but Decade thrusts a card into his belt.
''SUPER KAMEN RIDE!'' The Decadriver begins to announce as Decade-Blade form glows and transforms into its Super form, flying up and evading the shot. ''BLADE JACK FORM!''
Gaim continues firing arrow shots that Decade-Blade flies around them before he descends and slashes him across the chest and then twirls around fast and slashes his back. More sparks fly out, gasping in pain.
''Is that all you got?'' Decade-Blade taunts him with a chuckle before descending down at him. Gaim breathes and raises his hand. Multiple vines manifest to wrap around him but Decade slashes them down quickly.
''Can't help trying to enjoy a good fight…'' Gaim expresses, standing up. He hasn't had a fight this excitedly but he's not going to hold any punches either. ''But this is my stage, Tsukasa. I won't afford to hold any punches.'' He pulls out both the Kachidoki Lockseed as well as a white one with different fruit symbols, inserting them into his belt.
''FRUIT BASKET! LOCK OPEN!'' The Sengoku Driver begins to announce as multiple armored fruits surround him and enter Gaim, transforming him into the white, red cape shogun form. ''KIWAMI ARMS! DAI! DAI! DAI! DAI! DAI SHOGUN!''
Decade-Blade watches impressively as he flies down and swings his sword only for Gaim to twirl the Kiwami Lockseed.
''MELON DEFENDER!'' Manifesting is Zangetsu's shield-gun, blocking the slash and surprising Decade. Gaim then proceeds to fire a torrent of shots. Decade is forced to reflect the shots and flies upward. He u-turns downward at him only for Giam to twirl the Lockseed again.
''DURI NOKO!'' Appearing is a long, spike covered green greatsword. He swings downward and slashes Decade so hard that it knocks him out of Blade's super form. He manages to roll and get up fast only for Gaim to twirl the Lockseed again after discarding both weapons.
''BUDOU RYUHOU!'' The driver announces as Ryugen's gun weapon manifests in his left hand and begins firing rapid shots. Decade is forced to dodge around them but the shots still hit him, sparks flying out. Gaim twirls the Lockseed as multiple fruit weapons manifest and fly directly at him, damaging Decade even more further. He gasps in pain, nearly dropping to one knee.
''He is strong.'' Decade comments, amazed by his power but he will not fall. He pulls out the K-Touch and swaps it with the Decadriver. ''Then I'm not holding back anymore!''
"KUUGA, AGITO, RYUKI, FAIZ, BLADE, HIBIKI, KABUTO, DEN-O, KIVA!'' The K-Touch announces one by one of each main rider's names as their logos glow until they all flash, including the Decade one. Decade then presses on the F letter on the screen. ''FINAL KAMEN RIDE!'' His body glows and transforms into Decade Complete. ''DECADE! COMPLETE!''
Gaim still controls the weapons to fly at him but Decade simply takes a step forward and releases a magenta energy, blasting them all from even touching him.
Decade, wielding the Ride Booker, taps on Blade's symbol on the K-Touch and it announces. ''BLADE! KAMEN RIDE!'' Manifesting alongside Decade is Blade's Final form. ''KING!''
Gaim manifests the Hinawadaidai-DJ-Ju and begins a barrage of energy shots but both Decade Complete and Blade King easily slashes the shots with ease while Decade thrusts a card into his belt on his right waist.
''FINAL ATTACK RIDE!'' The Decadriver announces as Decade and Blade holds their signature weapons upward and then swings forward, crossing blades in a x-shaped and fires a powerful, spinning energy slashes right at Gaim. ''BLADE!''
The energy attacks connect and are about to consume Gaim but he holds his right hand and the energy slashes are stopped in their tracks. This shocks everyone as Gaim wipes his hand and they fade away.
''Nani?!'' Decade utters in shock. Gaim then begins firing energy shots from his right palm. Both Decade and the fake Blade block the blasts, pushing them backwards. Decade struggles, never experiencing such power like it before.
''So this is the Golden Fruit's powers?'' He questions in awe as Gaim then flies at him, kicking Decade upward into the sky. The fake Blade swings the King Rouzer at him but Gaim blocks it with the Hinawadaidai-DJ-Ju and then extends his left hand, firing a blast that consumes and explodes him.
The fake Blade is destroyed as the King Rouzer is tossed upward. Decade times it, dunking a Rider Card as he dives towards the great sword.
''FINAL KAMEN RIDE!'' The Decadriver announces as Decade reaches and grabs the massive sword in midair and still dives down, swinging downward as the transformation completes itself into Blade's final form. ''BLADE KING!''
Gaim sees it coming and blocks with the Hinawadaidai-DJ-Ju as Decade's great powerful swing is so strong that it pushes the block downward and slashes him across the shoulders. Sparks fly out as Decade then swings the greatsword again and it launches Gaim away. The two breathe heavily even to Natsumi's surprise.
''Tsukasa is actually pushing himself.'' She says with concern with Dragonic nodding. ''Yes but he's not slowing down in the slightest.''
Decade snickers, asking the so-called God. ''Is that the best you got?''
Gaim actually chuckles as he pulls out the Musou Saber alongside the Hinawadaidai-DJ-Ju.
''HINAWADAIDAI DJ-JU!'' The voice of the Sengoku Driver announces through the massive orange weapon as Gaim thrusts both it and the Musou Saber into one, becoming a more powerful weapon. ''MUSOU SABER!''
''Not even close!'' Gaim declares as he comes charging. Decade responds back, blades clashing once more as they charge and pull back, reflecting blades and slashes back-to-back.
This goes on over and over until finally the two riders back away, panting.
''Time to settle things then.'' Decade proclaims, holding forward a Rider Card and taps on it twice before he dunks it into his belt.
''FINAL ATTACK RIDE!'' The Decadriver begins to announce as swirls of golden energy coating across the greatblade.
''SOIYA!'' The Sengoku Driver begins to announce as Gaim's combined weapon begins to glow in a rainbow-like energy resembling water.
The two stare down before they finally come running at the other.
''KIWAMI AU LAIT!'' Gaim swings his blade as Decade-Blade does the same with his. ''BLADE!''
The two blades clash one final time an explosion consumes them both. Natsumi and the others brace themselves as the explosion dies off. They stare as smoke covers the area but it clears up, revealing Tsukasa standing and Kouta on the ground.
''Huff." Breathing tired, Tsukasa oddly smirks as he praises his foe. "Not bad, Kouta.''
''Likewise…'' Kouta responds back weakly but smiles, knowing Tsukasa will become stronger than his evil counterpart. ''I can leave the rest to your hands.''
He begins to laugh, looking sad as he remembers everyone who's died, mainly Yuya and Kaito. He experienced many things that left him to hell and back and yet; he has no regret about it.
Kouta eyes Tsukasa as his body begins becoming sparks of light before he asks him. ''I wonder what sacrifices you also endure to become the man you are now…'' As his body shatters and becomes fading lights, gone.
Tsukasa frowns slightly. That's right, he has experienced many sacrifices. Now… he can't let any more sacrifices happen. He turns to Dragonic and tells him seriously, wanting to continue onward in this journey. ''Dragonic, next world.''
The purple dragon smiles and replies. ''Let's.''
He floats back to the studio as the others follow him as their journey continues.
Sougo, however, stares at the group from afar, mainly Tsukasa. He has already defeated 5 Neo Heisei Riders. No telling about the fact that Decade's power is astonishing. No doubt about it that he's the one.
''4 more worlds left…'' Sougo mutters rather ominously before he catches up to the group.
Author's Note: Time to clarify things:
1) This is now full on Fanfic territory, using elements from the Decade series from the TV Series, Movies and even Novels (which I already used so yea).
2) Find it really weird that in Gaim, there's the sense of Feudal Japan with the opening and the final battle… not to mention the WizardxGaim Crossover. So that's my take in the A.R. World of Gaim. Plus, making Tsukasa a Ronin makes so much sense.
3) You know, out of all the riders; I never expected Kouta to end up as a God but I really like his character and the massive BURDEN he had gone through in Gaim. I'm glad he ended up being a God, with Mai and them making sure Helheim stays put and away from the Earth... RIP Kaito though.
The A.R. World of Gaim turned out okay in my honest opinion. Like when you have Gaim as a series, you don't have to work too much on it.
5 worlds down… "5" more worlds to go?
So last week my Toshiba laptop broke (more like a leak on the tube that connects to the fan) so I had to get it fix... YEA... I spend all of my money to buy a cheap laptop and here I am. At first, SUPER SLOW but I got it fix THANKFULLY but it still staggers a bit.
Due to missing multiple days on this issue, I will take a month off Tales of... after I am done with the 10 Worlds. Just a month. That and I have to deal with other stuff later so might as well. I hope you guys are okay and yea. Sorry again to all. I will go over more after the last A.R. World.
