Set in Stone: Chapter 38
Amegakure: 1 month after the Akatsuki biju missions
"This is unacceptable Pein" Madara said to Pein who was flanked by Konan and Itachi "our plans have been set back due to a brat and his friends; and because of you 3 and your collected incompetence" he said.
"We did not expect this Madara" Konan said speaking up "we hid in the shadows; he played our cards to our chests and yet when we made our move we were found out" she said. "This has to be the work of lord Jiraya and his spy network; but who" she said and Itachi spoke up.
"Kakuzu most likely" Itachi said "while the majority if the Akatsuki joined for ideological reasons or for protection Kakuzu joined for financial benefits" he said trying to throw them off.
Madara growled in frustration "so far the only Biju we have are the 3 tails, the 4 tails and the 6 tails" Madara said turning around "it looks like we must not only recruit new members to join but also we may have to go hunting for biju ourselves" he said.
"So be it" Pein said speaking up for the first time "we are the leaders of Amegakure; we have hundreds of ninjas at our disposal" he said. "And let's not forget about my rinnegan" Pein said "no matter who or what stands in our way; nothing can stand up to the power of a god" he said and Madara scoffed.
"No more excuses Pein" Madara said turning around "just get it done" he said as he vanished in a vortex.
"Nagato is it wise to keep him around" Konan said in concern "we do not need him" she said.
"He has his own agenda which is in conflict with our own" Itachi said "if need be, I could get rid of him personally" he said.
"Better to keep him around" Pein said "no need to get rid of a powerful ally; and like I said, nothing can stand up to the power of the rinnegan" he said as he walked away into the shadows.
Itachi stood there stone faced 'you think that Pein; but we have history on our side' Itachi thought 'Naruto defeated you once and he will do it again' he thought as he vanished in a murder of crows.
Outside Amegakure
'Amegakure; what a desolate wasteland' a lone figure thought as he looked at the village 'but I guess you need to start somewhere' he thought as he turned around and walked off. 'Just need a little more time' he thought.
Konoha 1 month later: with Naruto
Naruto was sitting with Tsume on the couch of his clan compound; Naruto was going through legal paperwork with Tsume. The mission to go and eliminate the Akatsuki was only 3 days away; Naruto did not want to take a chance and decided to get his affairs in order.
"Here is my life insurance and my will" Naruto said handing Tsume the will he drafted "me and the others girls agreed that our kids should get my clan jutsu and my life savings" he said. "And since you are the clan head of the Inuzuka I decided to leave the compound to the other girls for a place to live" Naruto said "I didn't want them to be homeless incase I die" he said. Tsume looked at the papers with trembling hands and then looked at Naruto.
"Please don't die" Tsume said her voice trembling.
"Tsume…" Naruto began.
"I don't want to raise our children alone" Tsume said grabbing his hand "they need a good father" she said and Naruto grabbed her hand and looked into her eyes.
"I'm not planning to die Tsume" Naruto said reassuringly "I just want to cover all my bases before I go" Naruto said. "Hell, I'm even doing that sperm freezing shit in case something happens to my man stuff" Naruto said making Tsume chuckle "so in the case it does happen Hinata, Sarada, Moro, Tsubaki, Temari and Anko can have kids" he said and Tsume looked at him confused.
"Anko" Tsume asked curiously and Naruto nodded.
"Yeah, her and Yugito have been talking" Naruto said "they're thinking of having a kid once they get married after all this shit is over" he said and Tsume looked at him with a small smile.
"About time those 2 tie the knot" Tsume said "and they asked you to be the doner" she said and Naruto nodded.
"Yep" Naruto said with a smile "I still need to discuss it with the girls but I don't think they will mind" Naruto said and Tsume nodded.
"Well, you have my yes" Tsume said leaning in to give him a kiss "ok what else" Tsume said as Naruto pulled out a Uzumaki scroll.
"Incase I die this scroll was made by my mom" Naruto said "this has Uzumaki arts like sealing and chakra chains; my mom is an expert so she will be able to teach them but it's better to have hard material" he said and Tsume nodded.
With Tsubaki
Tsubaki was at the Senju compound with her mom, dad and brother; they have been spending more time together as the mission date grew closer.
"-So, after me and mom here survived Hanzo's attack, we were named the legendary Sanin" Jiraya said as he wrapped his arm around Tsuande and kissed her cheek "there was another member called Orochimaru; but he turned evil and we had to kill him" he said with a chuckle.
"Yeah 30 damn years after" Tsunade said making Jiraya rub the back of his head.
"Haha; looks like the apple doesn't fall from the tree pops" Tsubaki said with a smile "after I fought that Uchiha witch I was named the slug queen by the enemy" she said. "It's a double name both from my slug contract and me punching her so hard her head exploded" Tsubaki said punching the air.
Nawaki was looking on in awe at hearing the stories "wow you guys are so cool" Nawaki said with stars in his eyes "do you think I will ever get a cool title like that" he said and Tsunade ruffled his hair.
"Maybe sweetie" Tsunade said with a smile "when you get older daddy and big sister will be taking you out on missions to fight a bunch of bad guys" she said and Nawaki got excited.
"Oh man I can't wait" Nawaki said "I wanna be a super awesome medic like mom, a ninjutsu expert like dad and have lots of girlfriends like Naruto" Nawaki said and Jiraya laughed.
"Well at least you got dreams son" Jiraya said "I already got my dream right here" Jiraya said as he kissed Tsunade who blushed from the show of affection.
Tsubaki looked on with a smile; all her life she wanted a family and now she has one. Looks like all it took was traveling back in time and changing the future. 'No matter what me and dad have to come back' Tsubaki thought 'I don't want this to end anytime soon' Tsubaki thought.
With Ichigo and Ino
Ichigo and Ino were both in their house sharpening their swords; Ino in particular was making sure all her gear was prepped for the upcoming mission.
"Are you sure you want to go" Ichigo asked nervously "I mean it's not to late to back out now" he said and Ino looked at him with a soft smile.
"I already begged Jiraya and Tsunade to let me go on this mission" Ino said "you need me there to watch your back" she said.
"But Ino- "Ichigo began until Ino put her finger to his lips.
"You trained me Ichigo" Ino said "you taught me how to swing a sword, how to use all kinds of ninjutsu; I'll be ok" she said. "I won't forgive myself if you go into battle and I'm not there to help you when things get rough" she said "I love you, I live for you; and if need be, I'll die with you" she said.
Ichigo feeling his heart strings being pulled let out a tear and wiped it away "what is it with blondes and their 'talk no jutsu'" he said making Ino laugh. Ichigo then went in and kissed Ino on her lips "I love you" he said.
"I love you too" Ino said as they both went back to preparing their weapons.
With Sarada and Moro
Both girls were sitting on top of the hokage monument looking down at the village.
"We are nearly done Sarada" Moro said "one last mission, one last battle; and then we can rest easy" she said and Sarada nodded.
"It's amazing how far we came" Sarada said "when all this started when we ran away; I never thought this is how out lives would turn out" she said. "We time traveled, we met Naruto, fell in love with Naruto, and became more than we ever thought possible" Sarada said as she turned to Moro "I'm so proud of you Moro" Sarada said and Moro smiled.
"Thanks, Sarada" Moro said "I never thought I'd meet my mother or that my dream man would be in the past" Moro said.
"Or that you'd be sharing your mother and grandmother with your dream man" Sarada said making Moro get a tic mark.
"Hey first one wasn't that bad; the second one nearly made me lose my shit" Moro said making Sarada laugh "and what's weirder is that our kids will be brothers, sisters, uncles, aunts, cousins, nephews, nieces…" she said her eyes widening at the thought. "Man, our family is going to be fucking confusing" Moro said and Sarada chuckled.
"Well don't worry Moro" Sarada said "we'll cross that bridge when we get back" she said adjusting her glasses.
"Totally" Moro said as she took out a box and opened it "cinnamon roll" she offered.
"Don't mind if I do" Sarada said taking the pastry.
3 days later
Jiraya was standing at the gate with the assault force consisting of Naruto, Sarada, Moro, Tsubaki, Ichigo, Kushina, Gaara, Jugo, Guren, Hinata, Karin, Fu, Tayuya, Ino, kin and Yakumo.
"Ok people" Jiraya said to them all "this is it; lets finish strong, this is what we've been training for" he said.
"No casualties" Naruto said gaining all their attentions "and I would like to thank you all; I wouldn't have made it this far without you" he said. Sarada grabbed his hand and kissed his cheek.
"You ready" Sarada asked and Naruto nodded.
"I'm ready" Naruto said gaining a smile from everyone.
"Ok then" Jiraya said "let's roll" he said as they all rushed out of the gates.
Amegakure out skirts
Naruto and the rest of the team were outside Ame getting ready to commence their attack; as they did they stopped on a hill top overlooking the village.
"Hinata" Jiraya spoke up "use your byakugan to scout the village" he said and Hinata nodded.
Hinata activated her Byakugan and scanned the village; Hinata then grew pale as she looked at the village.
"What is it; what's wrong" Jiraya asked concerned.
"I-Itachi and a Akatsuki member are fighting down there" Hinata said making Jiraya go wide eyed.
"What; who is attacking" Naruto asked and Hinata shook her head.
"I don't know; but these chakra reserves are massive; even bigger than yours" Hinata said making Naruto go wide eyed.
"What are you serious" Naruto said.
"Naruto, Sarada, Moro, Tsubaki with me" Jiraya said "the rest of you hang back; we need to know what we are up against" he said and they all nodded.
Jiraya, Naruto, Sarada, Tsubaki and Moro all rushed through the village as the sounds of battle grew louder "damn they are really tearing it up" Tsubaki said.
"I can smell them from here" Moro said "2 familiar smells; one Itachi the other I can't remember" she said as Naruto and Jiraya became more worried. After a few minutes of running, they all entered a large clearing and saw a bruised and beaten Itachi and an equally wounded Konan.
"Itachi" Naruto shouted gaining his attention "what's going on" Naruto said.
"Who are you" Konan asked getting on guard.
"They're with me" Itachi said.
"Did Pein do this or Obito" Jiraya asked and Itachi shook his head.
"No, they're both dead" Itachi said making everyone freeze.
"What! How" Naruto shouted.
Just then a pair of feet landed and everyone turned to look; Sarada seeing the figure land went wide eyed.
Raven black hair, cold emotionless face a sharingan in his right eye and a rinne-sharingan in his left "Father" Sarada said making Naruto go wide eyed.
"Hello Sarada" Sasuke said looking at her dully; Sasuke then turned to Naruto "hello Naruto; long time no see" he said.
"Y-you're suppose to be dead" Naruto said his voice wavering.
"I nearly was" Sasuke said as he shed his cloak revealing an advanced set of chakra armor "I used the Izanagi; I took a big gamble and it paid off, sadly I lost my sharingan in the process" Sasuke said. "Luckily for me Obito was kind enough to die and donate his" Sasuke said with a chuckle. "Now that I'm here and I have 2 goals" Sasuke said "kill that traitorous daughter of mine and rebuild my empire" he said with a sick smile.
"You're not doing shit" Naruto shouted "You can't take all of us on alone" he said and Sasuke chuckled.
"Who says I'm alone" Sasuke said as he opened up a scroll and 2 edo tensei popped out making both Tsubaki and Moro freeze in fear.
"Hello Sarada" Sakura said sweetly before turning to Tsubaki "hello again; Tsubaki" she said before her 100 healing activated. "I remember everything that you did to me, you little blonde slut" she said scowling "I'll make sure you pay for your crimes" she said clutching her fists.
"Hello Moro" Kiba said making Moro flinch away from his gaze "my, my look how you grew up" he said with a perverted and lecherous gaze. "I thought Hinata had a banging body but you; wow" he said as his claws and fangs began to extend "I think some father daughter bonding time is in order" Kiba said licking his lips.
Moro hearing this stopped being scared and began to grow angry "I will tear you apart you bastard" Moro snarled and Kiba chuckled.
"Atta girl" Kiba said.
Naruto now seeing the Sasuke, Sakura and Kiba from Sarada's future began to grit his teeth 'fucking hell; how can this get any worse' he thought.
Outside Ame
Ichigo was sitting down until he stood back up making Ino look at him in surprise "honey what's wrong" Ino asked and Ichigo took out the Raijin no Ken.
"Come out you bastard" Ichigo said pointing his sword at a tree; just then 2 figures wearing chakra armor came out from behind the tree, one reading a purple book and one with a fake smile. Ichigo saw that they were both edo tensei and cursed his bad luck.
"Is that any way to talk to your commander" Sai said with his fake smile; he turned to Ino who flinched from the smile "Hello Ino; nice to meet you… this you" he said.
"Sai; Sasuke gave us a mission" Kakashi said putting up his book "so let's get it over with" Kakashi said raising up his head band revealing his sharingan.
"Oh crap" Ichigo said a he and everyone else got into a fighting stance "I don't know how you 2 are here; but I'm going to send you back to hell where you belong" he shouted as he and Ino got their swords ready.
With Naruto
Naruto was looking at the 3 opponents in front of him and he began to tremble "Kit" Kurama said from within "you may die here today; but if you do… take that prick with you. No holding back" he said and Naruto nodded.
'You're right Kurama' Naruto thought as red chakra began to cover his body; Naruto transformed into his 9 tails chakra mode and looked at Sasuke.
"I killed you once Sasuke" Naruto shouted "and I'll do it again" he said and Sasuke chuckled.
"I was about to say the same thing" Sasuke said taking out his Kusanagi sword "bring it on loser" Sasuke said with a smirk.
