"So you two are my other new recruits." A woman said, walking up to Ark, Pokemon Master Ash, and Trap Ash.
"Captain Zisu, yes these are Ashlyn and Dick." Ark said.
"You can call me Rich." Pokemon Master Ash said.
"Well, I like to make sure my team is on top of their job and I'll be seeing that for myself, so how about some training." Zisu said confidently.
"I could get behind some training." Trap Ash said. "Let's do it."
"So what kind of training will we be doing?" Pokemon Master Ash.
"You'll each be having a battle, Ashlyn you'll be up against Ark here." Captain Zisu said.
"A battle between us?" Trap Ash asked, looking at Ark.
"Yep, I got a good look at his Pokemon yesterday, but I want to see what kind of power you're packing, it'll be a one on one though so don't go showboating." Zisu said,
"Yes Captain." Trap Ash said, as the trio followed Zisu to the training area.
"Alright, I want to see you two use your slowest Pokemon, really show me how you utilize that disadvantage." Zisu said confidently.
"Well if you want slow, then come out Dhelmise!" Ark called out.
"Copperajah I choose you!" Trap Ash exclaimed.
"YOU HAD THAT ALL ALONG AND DIDN'T USE IT WHEN IT WAS RAINING ELECTRICITY!" Pokemon Master Ash yelled angrily.
"He's a steel type, and Torterra did just fine." Trap Ash pointed out. "But Copperajah is one of my slower Pokemon I'll admit, but that doesn't get rid of his strength in battle. Copperajah use Heavy Slam!"
"Dhelmise use Anchor Shot!"
Dhelmise shot his anchor out at Copperajah, the two metals just clinging off of each other as Copperajah landed on top of Dhelmise.
"Dhelmise use Power Whip!"
"Copperajah use Earthquake!"
Dhelmise swung his chain and anchor around, hooking onto one of Copperajah's legs, sweeping it out from under him and letting the ghost type get back up.
"Now use Whirlpool!"
"Use Super Power!"
Dhelmise began to spin around Copperajah, drawing closer and closer until Copperajah slammed into Dhelmise's body once it got close enough, not dealing any damage, but causing it to fall back down.
"Now use Heavy Slam!"
"Dhelmise use Shadow Ball!"
A smoke cloud erupted from the two attacks colliding at such short range, both Pokemon still intertwined with each other once it cleared.
"Impressive, I must say that your battling skills greatly outweigh your size." Zisu said, complimentingly.
"When I battle, it's usually to win." Trap Ash said, rubbing his wrist
"Same, and last I checked, you're not down yet." Ark commented, digging into his pocket.
"Copperajah use Corkscrew Crash!" Trap Ash exclaimed, activating his Z Ring.
"Dhelmise use Corkscrew Crash!" Ark called out, also activating his.
The two Pokemon launched forward, striking each other at high speeds like tops battling one another, sparks flying from the clashing metals until both finally stopped.
"Should we try to stop them?" Akari asked, walking over to Pokemon Master Ash.
"Nah, they're just seeing who's the better battler." Pokemon Master Ash said.
"Oh, I wouldn't know what that's like." Akari said, scratching Pokemon Master Ash's Pikachu's head.
"I though you were part of the survey corps though?" Pokemon Master Ash said.
"I am, it's just, I don't have much battling experience." Akari said shyly. "Not like you five at least."
"Even we don't have experience like each other, trust me, I've been learning that a lot lately." Pokemon Master Ash said, as his Pikachu hopped into Akari's arms. "Pikachu seems to have taken a liking to you though."
"You think?" Akari said blushing.
"Yeah, he's a good judge of character." Pokemon Master Ash said.
"So where are your other Pokemon?" Akari asked.
"Huh?" Pokemon Master Ash asked in confusion.
"Sorry, it's just everyone else has six, but I only have seen that Pikachu of yours, don't you have other Pokemon?" Akari asked.
"I did, but they're not with us anymore." Pokemon Master Ash said, remembering watching each of his Pokemon getting erased.
"I'm sorry to hear that, but at least you still have your Pikachu, he must be important for you all to have one." Akari said.
"Yeah, it's kind of funny that we all started with one." Pokemon Master Ash said, looking back at the battle.
"Come on Copperajah! Don't give in!" Trap Ash shouted.
"Keep them stuck Dhelmise!" Ark exclaimed.
"Alright, enough of this, you've both proven yourselves more than enough." Zisu called out.
"Never." Trap Ash said, his eyes glowing blue. "Copperajah use Heavy Slam!"
"Dhelmise use Power Whip!" Ark called out, his eyes glowing orange.
Copperajah leapt into the air with Dhelmise's chain still wrapped around his leg at the two forces sent the large steel type hurdling towards the ground.
"EVERYBODY LOOK OUT!" Trap Ash exclaimed, throwing an aura bubble around the two Pokemon to contain the shock wave.
As the dust cleared both Pokemon were knocked out from the training battle and everyone had been knocked back a few feet even with the extra protection.
"Alright, well I know either to keep you two on seperate jobs or, when the going gets tough, send both of you in together." Zisu said. "Now get cleaned up and have them looked at, we're done here for today."
Later back at the house
"So we managed to find another plate." Seer Ash said, pulling out the tablet. "Notice anything on it this time?"
Pokemon Master Ash's eyes began to give a golden glow as text formed on the tablet. "The Original One breathed alone before the universe came." Pokemon Master Ash said.
"Aura." The other four Ash said in shocked unison.
"What do you mean?" Pokemon Master Ash asked.
"Your eyes, they glowed." Seer Ash said.
"They did, what color, what can I do?" Pokemon Master Ash said.
"They were gold, and I think your powers are related to these plates and fixing this whole thing." Trap Ash said. "Tomorrow you and Ponytail will go to investigate another plate."
"Yeah, that reminds us, you should know there is a giant Rapidash running around all crazy like out there so be careful." Coordinator Ash said.
"Good to know." Ark commented. "We'll keep our eyes out."
"Actually, it looks like this one is near a lake, you should be fine." Trap Ash said.
"So Pikachu might not be a lot of help." Pokemon Master Ash said.
"Water is still water, we don't know what plate is there, but if it's a water type holding the plate, we'll be in luck." Trap Ash said, reassuringly.
