Vegeta and Whis appeared in the Second Universe's Planet of Darkness. They found the dark haired, slender, and curvaceous Goddess of Destruction along with her guide angel, Sawa, who looked like Whis but with his shoulder-length silver hair down, and donned the same outfit as him but yellow instead of the maroon-colored robe and leggings that Whis wore. They were discussing something with Pell, the Kaioushin counterpart of Heles, who was an elderly person with green skin, pointy ears, and thick mustache and beard, an unusual appearance for a God of Creation.

The extraordinarily beautiful destroyer turned her large green eyes with a dark turquoise eyeshadow towards the pair of unexpected visitors.

"Oh, it's Vegeta-chan and Whis!" she recognized. She turned her profile and began walking towards them. Pell and Sawa followed to greet them.

Pell and Sawa bowed down to Vegeta while Whis lowered his head in respect to the deities of the Second Universe.

"It's been a while, Vegeta-sama, Whis," Sawa politely greeted.

"Indeed, brother," Whis responded with a slight smile.

"What brought you two in here?" Pell asked.

"Vegeta-sama wishes to speak with Heles-sama about… something," Whis answered.

"Hm?"

The three deities of the Second Universe turned their eyes to the God of Destruction of the Seventh Universe in question.

Heles stepped forward, "Is there any problem, Vegeta-chan ?" she asked curiously.

Vegeta tilted his head on his side and told Heles, "Follow me. We need to talk in private."

Heles was initially puzzled by his odd behavior, but she followed Vegeta to the other side of her Planet of Darkness anyways, leaving Whis with Pell and Sawa who were wondering what was up with the notoriously prideful and cold-hearted God of Destruction of the Seventh Universe.

"This should be far enough," Vegeta said as he descended on the top of a cliff overlooking the sea.

"Is there really a need for us to be this far away from them?" Heles asked him.

"This is a private matter that I am only willing to open up to you so I won't have anyone else hearing about this."

"I see," Heles understood that this could be something personal to Vegeta after all. She still found this quite odd because the proud Vegeta had never done this before, and why, of all people, would he come to her? "So, what's the problem?"

Vegeta didn't answer soon. He was reluctant at first, thinking whether Whis was right about this or not. But if it was indeed true that Heles did fall in love towards a mortal and was also forced to destroy the man due to an order from the heavens, then only she could understand what he's been going through. His guide angel better be right about this, because Vegeta was risking his pride for this. He hated opening up to anyone about his emotions, especially when it comes to sentimentality. He viewed such things as being weak and he never wanted anyone to see him as a weakling who cannot handle his emotions well and asking for help like a crippled child.

Vegeta let out a breath. There's no need for him to hesitate. He had to know what happened to her so he could answer a few questions he had on his mind and confirm any suspicions. Heles was one of the kindest gods he met and he knew that out of all the deities, he could trust her.

"Whis told me that you once had a forbidden relationship with a mortal millions of years ago. Is that true?" he asked.

Heles blinked back at him, and then she laughed.

"Did he seriously tell you that? Oh my, that is embarrassing," she said with a shy smile.

"..."

Heles grinned, amused at him, "Why? Did you come all the way here just to ask me about that?"

"Is it true that the higher gods forced you to destroy the mortal?"

Heles tried to sound nonchalant as she could, "Well, yeah. They did. Why did you ask about that?"

Vegeta lowered his eyes in shame, "It's… lets just say I'm curious… That's all."

"Hmm…" Heles muttered.

"Yonshir came to my Universe to make her observation. I have no idea what kind of observation she was doing but she reported something to Mu not a while ago," Vegeta admitted.

"Really? If Lady Yonshir came down to the Seventh Universe then she must have foreseen something going on in your Universe."

"There was nothing wrong with my Universe. Her problem was with me."

"With you? What's wrong with you?"

"There was a mortal woman in my Universe with whom I felt a strong bond with, but I didn't know why she had such a strange and strong influence on me. Whenever I'm with this mortal, confusing feelings begin to sprout out of nowhere within me. I began to care for her, and I was doing things for her which I didn't expect I could actually do. It's not a bad feeling, but it is upsetting me and I have no idea why it upsets me so much. I hated it, and I hated her for it. I tried to get rid of her many times, but I found myself unable to do so. And then one day, unwanted memories come flooding in my dreams. Memories I wasn't supposed to have any longer… That's when I realized why. She was a part of my past which I shouldn't remember, and she returned to me as she promised me that day."

Heles smiled quite excitedly, "So you finally remember her? That mortal? What was her name again? Was it Bloom or Bloomer?"

Vegeta looked at her with wide eyes for a few seconds, before he frowned and turned his head away in shame. It was obvious by his reaction that the answer was yes.

"So you finally found her reincarnation after 1,239 years?" Heles questioned still with the seemingly glad smile.

Vegeta nodded, not looking at her, "Yeah."

"And how does that make you feel now?"

"I was happy, I was glad to know that despite her being reborn as this new being, her soul remembered the promise she made with me. But… I know… It was wrong. A God of Destruction is never allowed to feel such emotions and form any attachments towards mortals. Such emotions are useless, it is a distraction and could become a warrior's greatest downfall. I was raised to such a belief even as a Saiyan, and yet…"

Vegeta stopped speaking after that.

"I see," Heles understood. "I get it now," she chuckled. "Alright. I'll tell you what you want to know. I was hoping that you would ask me about that since 1,239 years ago. Hehe…"

The God of Destruction from the Seventh Universe finally looked back to her, blinking his eyes, "Really?"

"Let's just say that when you allowed the Grand Priest to repress your memories about what happened on Terra Eresei, you made me remember myself when I fell in love with my Irang," Heles said. "I met Irang on Planet Qyubi five million years ago," she continued as her green eyes sparkled as she reminisced about the mortal man with whom she was said to have formed a forbidden relationship with. "I descended into that planet because Pell had seen a great evil emerge within that planet. A dragon god that fell down from the heavens and became a giant serpent demon after losing its claws. The Orochi."

"Orochi?"

"It is an extremely malevolent multiverse-level spirit deity that has the powers of chaos and destruction greater than a destroyer god. A long time ago, it rebelled against the higher deities and was a dangerous threat to the Multiverse, but the higher gods threw him to the mortal world as punishment. After it has lost its powers, it starts to seek a powerful body to possess in order for it to succeed in its plan to wreak havoc in the heavens and aims to destroy all gods, demons, and mortals alike. This creature was capable of fulfilling the darkest desires of one's heart just like we Gods of Destruction do, but it also can possess any being, and can spread its influence like a virus.

"So while I was hunting for Orochi, I met this beautiful, young man who, unlike the rest of his people, has a desire to destroy his father, the King of Planet Qyubi. He asked me to train him so he could do so by his own hands. Because he was cute and quite interesting, I agreed to train him. He was very sloppy at first, but overtime, he learned a lot and became extremely skilled in fighting. During the time we spent together, I began to care for him. I couldn't understand it at first, and I tried to avoid it because I know that a God of Destruction caring for a mortal is a taboo according to divine laws. In the end, it was undeniable that I fell in love with him. It can't be helped. He was the first person to treat me like I am a normal woman, not as a feared Goddess of Destruction. Being with him made me feel like I can be free to do other things rather than just killing and destroying. Soon, I gave in and accepted my love for Irang.

"One day, Irang was summoned in the royal palace while I was also called in the King of All's Palace to be scolded for I made love with him the night before. I was reprimanded and was threatened, all because they think I have fallen into the trap of the enemy I must destroy. It was revealed to me that Irang's father, the King, had been possessed by the Orochi all along, and that he sent Irang as a sacrifice to be used as bait for me to come to him. I couldn't believe it. Even until now I couldn't believe what Daishinkan-sama told me that day. I knew Irang, and I knew that his feelings for me were true and sincere. But what can I do? I'm not powerful enough to defy the higher gods' heavenly orders. They said that if I don't destroy Irang, the Orochi would take my body and use me in his wicked plans. Then the higher gods would have no other choice but to obliterate me in case that evil entity controls me. Belmod wouldn't accept this, of course, and he offered that he would destroy Irang and Orochi in my place in case I failed. If I get obliterated, both the Second and Eleventh Universes are going to be obliterated as well.

"That night I returned to Planet Qyubi with a reluctant resolve to destroy him. My dear Irang came to me, and the Orochi was within him. Despite his possession, he was able to tell me that he offered himself as a sacrifice to the Serpent god in order to save me and both the Second and Eleventh Universes. He allowed the Orochi to take over his mortal body, and through his sheer will alone, sealed the creature within him, so he could tell me to destroy him along with the evil thing. I hesitated, I couldn't find myself to destroy him no matter what I did. My love for him was stronger than anything else I felt towards him, but I can't compromise the existence of the Second and Eleventh Universe and endanger anybody else… Belmod told me that the Orochi was pretending to be Irang, using him to manipulate me because it knew that I won't be able to destroy him. But… I know…"

Heles smiled warmly to herself. Her eyes softened and were filled with sadness for quite some time.

Feeling awkward, Vegeta decided to ask more about the story. "So you destroyed him in the end?"

"I have no other choice. I wasn't strong enough to defy the higher gods."

"But you could have destroyed just the Orochi, right?"

"I can't," Heles shook her head. "At first, we thought that because it lost most of its power after it fell into the mortal world and that it had taken over a mortal vessel, it could be destroyed under our power. But, we were wrong. The Orochi was still an immortal being. It was actually one of the most feared creatures in the Multiverse long before it was thrown into this world. But because it lost its demonic power, it needed to find a powerful body to become its vessel so it could use its power as its own. It seems it was after the Gods of Destruction because of our destructive power. I was his first target because he probably thought that I'll be an easy one for him to manipulate due to me being a woman."

Vegeta blinked in amusement, "That creature underestimated you just because of that?"

"He didn't underestimate me. He underestimated the power of love. It was Irang's love for me that made him resist the influence of the Orochi, and saved me and the Second and Eleventh Universes in the end. That's all I could think about now. My Irang sacrificed himself and was destroyed as a courageous mortal warrior. It's painful to remember how I lost him, and I even hated my own weakness for I wasn't strong enough to protect him or save him at all. But I do honor him for his heroism and I can be proud of him for that. However, there are times when I can't help blaming my weakness and my foolishness for my inability to protect him and everyone. That's why when you chose to let the Grand Priest repress your memories of Bloom, I was honestly disappointed in you. Of course, I couldn't voice it out in front of the other gods but since there are only the two of us in here right now, I can finally tell you my honest feelings about what you did.

"Vegeta-chan, don't be like me, or the rest of us who simply obey what we were told by the higher gods because we aren't strong enough to defy them. You are different from me, stronger than me, or anyone amongst the Gods of Destruction. Aside from that, only you were able to master the forbidden Secret of Self-Indulgence technique. With that and your origins as a Saiyan, you grow exponentially stronger every time. If anyone can change things and show everyone the true meaning of being a God of Destruction, it's you. Only you can be strong enough to bring a change in the mantle."

"And may you become the first God of Destruction to bring a change to the mantle. Good luck, my boy," Vegeta suddenly recalled Beerus' last words to him as he listened to Heles' advice. How odd.

"...Think about what you truly want," Heles continued. "Follow your desires and use it to become stronger and fight in order to get what you truly desire. So long as its intention is pure and beautiful, there is nothing wrong about it."

Heles noticed Vegeta staring at her in wonder.

"Why are you staring at me like that?" Heles asked him.

"Beerus and Whis told me the same thing," Vegeta told her.

"Then that means I'm right," Heles told him with a wink. "Well, it really doesn't matter which is right or wrong, so long as you know what your pure heart desires, it means you're doing a good job."

"So… What happened to the Orochi? If you failed to destroy that bastard, then does that mean it's still on the loose?"

"It managed to get hold of the Gods of Destruction from the former Thirteenth to Eighteenth Universes, and after that, the Orochi wreaked havoc in the Multiverse. There was a great war among those Universes for quite some time. It was a taboo for Gods of Destruction to battle each other for it places the multiverse in great peril so the King of Nothingness awakened and obliterated those gods who fell under Orochi's influence without mercy nor second chances at all. That's why those Universes were lost in history for all eternity."

"That's good to know. That bastard seems like a dangerous and powerful opponent," Vegeta said with a snort, trying to hide his disappointment that he didn't get the chance to meet this Orochi threat. He was half-relieved that the bastard was obliterated by the King of Nothingness, but another part of him lamented at the fact that he wasn't able to fight that guy.

"It was indeed a great threat if it didn't lose the majority of its power," Heles agreed. "But its possession ability alone and that it was able to take hold of the Gods of Destruction showed how powerful it could become. Aren't you glad that you don't have to deal with such a pest?"

"I don't know about that," Vegeta admitted. "For some reason, I was curious about its strength."

Heles blinked back at him and then she laughed a hearty giggle.

"Hey, what are you laughing at?"

"That's your Saiyan blood speaking to you, alright," Heles giggled. "You're still the same. How lucky you are to have regained something from your mortal life. Most of us completely lost everything in exchange for this position and power."

"What are you saying? I lost everything too, Heles! And the worst part of it was I was forced to give up everything that I am because those damn higher gods decided to manipulate my fate!"

"No, you didn't give up everything, Vegeta-chan. You know that," Heles pressed, poking at his chest closest to his heart. "Remember what you told Toppo when you fought in that exhibition match back when both of you were mortals? You said that you will never abandon your ideals and forget who and what you are for the sake of becoming a God of Destruction. That was why Beerus knew that the Secret of Self-Indulgence is the perfect way for you to gain the powers of a God of Destruction. Listen to yourself, do as you wish, and never allow anyone to stop you from obtaining what you truly want. Remember that only you can decide your fate. Now it's all up to you whether you believe me or not, but know that I believe in you."

Vegeta stared at Heles for a moment. He was surprised by how much her opinion about him changed since the first time he met her. She never trusted him back then, and she was open about her thoughts against him when Beerus chose him as his successor. After his exhibition match against Toppo, Heles was the first to soften up to him. She openly welcomed him into the group when he became a God of Destruction. She even told him she could be his auntie and if he ever needed advice, he could always come over. Due to his proud nature, Vegeta never seek help from anyone of them until now. After what happened here, he knew he could trust her.

So he smiled at her, a surprisingly soft and genuine one, which made Heles' jaw drop in wonder.

"Thank you, Heles."

Heles smiled back, glad to finally see Vegeta smile genuinely for the first time. A smile not reeking of evil, terrifying bloodlust, or sheer arrogance. A smile that told her he was truly glad about what she just told him. Heles thought he looked so good when he smiled like that and that he should do it more often. Vegeta seems to read her thoughts, and his smile faded away as he became flustered. He quickly turned away to hide his red face, scowling. Heles chuckled, contemplating at how cute he was doing that.

Embarrassed, Vegeta summoned Whis, saying that he's done here and he wants to return to the Seventh Universe. Heles bid him goodbye and told him to take care of himself. Vegeta simply snorted back loudly in response. Vegeta and Whis blasted off into the skies without him saying a word back to her.

Chapter 34: Light and Darkness

Miho went to support Hikari as she auditioned the following day, and as expected, she won by a landslide. Miho was so happy for her friend, and now that the both of them met their idols, they were very ecstatic about Hikari becoming a part of them.

Yami found Miho and Hikari's friendship quite annoying. So during Hikari's contract signing, Yami made sure that Hikari would abide by the contract. Most idols focus on their career, and if Hikari would want to truly join the Dark Destroyers, just like any other idol, she must denounce any personal attachment to her family and friends. She must only focus on her training. Yami said that doing so would keep Hikari's "purity". While Hikari was initially confused by that, she eventually agreed, as if she was caught in a trance.

Unbeknownst to Hikari, Yami put something on the drink he offered her during the contract signing. Miho noticed a sudden change in Hikari's behavior after that, but she initially thought her friend was just tired so she ignored her sudden lapse in behavior.

Three days passed by, Hikari moved to the Dark Destroyers' quarters and practiced with the band's members for hours and days. There will be an upcoming concert held during the Witching Hour of Halloween. A perfect setting for something sinister since many believe that the door to the spiritual world is open during that time. Yami revealed that they are going to do the ritual to summon the God of Destruction during that concert. He told Hikari that with her purity, they will recreate this world once the destroyer deity destroys it, erasing all impurities and evil that's in this rotten world. They will create the perfect Utopia, where both of them will become the new world's god and goddess who will rule over everything.

Miho began to miss her best friend so much. They haven't talked nor have seen one another since the contract signing. She tried contacting Hikari but she won't answer her calls.

One night, Miho found an announcement video Yami and Hikari created for their fans. Miho was shocked to see how much Hikari had changed. What did Yami do to her? It's as if the Hikari on the video wasn't her best friend at all!

"Everything in the concert hall and our own preparation is almost complete. We have found the perfect voice for our next mission. Let me introduce to you our angelic partner, Hikari Ishida," Yami announced.

"Hello everyone," Hikari said. "I am Hikari Ishida, the newest member of the Dark Destroyers. Let us destroy this rotten world and recreate a world devoid of impurities and filth. We will do this together with Yami. This is the grand mission of the Dark Destroyers, so come and join us!"

"Hikari held such a powerful force in her voice," Yami continued. "The waves of her voice and her aura are so beautiful and pure, it will surely attract the God of Destruction into this world and we will make a contract with him to destroy this world for us. With me and Hikari together, we will recreate this world into a perfect Utopia where you, our loyal followers, could live eternal life with us. So we are inviting you all to come to our concert which will be held at 3:00 during the Witching Hour of Halloween at the Black Stardust Arena at WST06664444 and let us change this rotten world!"

Yami's declaration about 'destroying the world and recreating it' meant nothing to the Dark Destroyers' fanatics, since it's a common motif of the gothic, metal-rock band. Yami tried to summon the God of Destruction so many times before but every single attempt failed. So Miho simply shook her head about it and paid it no mind. Still, she couldn't help but worry about Hikari. She was so different from the caring and loving friend she once knew. It was as if joining the band had become a bad influence on her and Miho couldn't help but feel guilty for suggesting Hikari to try the audition. Her appearance looked like a delinquent now compared to her once simple yet perfect beauty.

As she read through the comments section, she found something that made her heart skip a beat. In the flood of comments saying that the God of Destruction doesn't exist, a single one read: "YOU FOOLS! The God of Destruction DOES EXIST! If you do this, then everyone who would come to that concert is going to die!"

The said comment came from someone with a username JunM43d4, Miho recognized him as a well-known vlogger across the internet who takes on trending topics. She remembered Yami once mentioned him to be the source where he got the information about the ritual to summon the God of Destruction. Confused by his comment, Miho responded with "Wait, are you serious?"

"Don't believe him. It's just an urban legend. If a God of Destruction truly exists, then he should have appeared in one of Yami-sama's live rituals." a comment from a stranger replied.

Finding her comment being flooded by unwanted responses from these strangers, she decided to send a private message to Jun Maeda's account.

"How do you know if the God of Destruction exists? Do you really believe that the Urban Legend is true?"

"I talked to some people who successfully did the ritual, one of them being my mother. Plus, I have already encountered him a lot of times before," Jun replied.

"Really? You encountered the God of Destruction before?"

"Yes. I believe that this concert ritual the Dark Destroyers are planning to do may indeed have some true intention behind it. I suspect that Yami Shimono is going to make that girl the blood sacrifice to satiate the destroyer god's thirst for human blood."

Now this caused Hikari to become instantly worried, "What do you mean he's going to sacrifice Hikari-chan?!"

"The ritual requires a blood sacrifice to the God of Destruction. Whether it's your own blood or that of others, it won't matter so long as it satisfies the deity's bloodlust."

Miho quickly went to the Chillypasta website to check on the page that mentioned the ritual to summon the God of Destruction and read through it. What Jun Maeda said was true.

"No… Hikari-chan…" Miho gasped.

"What should I do? Hikari Ishida is my best friend, and I don't want her to die," she typed with a crying emoji by the end.

"Would you like to meet up with me tomorrow at the Ox-King's Sushi restaurant? I will help you save your friend," Jun offered.

"Yes, please. I will go."

"I'll see you at nine, then."

Vegeta returned to his home planet after that conversation with Heles in a better mood than earlier. Her story and her advice somehow made him understand his feelings towards Bulma more. And her encouragement lit up something within him that he thought was already long gone. Now, he has to decide about what he truly wants in his life.

"It's good to see that you are finally in a better mood, milord. Have you found the answers to your questions?" Whis asked.

Vegeta replied, "Not yet, but Heles' and your advice could greatly help me come up with the solution to this. Thank you."

"So, are you going to apologize to Bulma-san?"

Vegeta turned away without responding to the question. He tilted his head towards the balcony as if he could sense something going on. He could hear a lot of people talking about him lately. It's not a summoning, but rather a plan to summon him soon.

"Whis, report," he ordered.

Whis sighed when Vegeta didn't answer his question but instead quickly changed the topic. He took his scepter and watched at the flashing crystal on the top of his staff. "It's that guy, Yami Shimono, again. I think he is planning something different now."

"That crazy bastard is at it again. What now?" he muttered, talking about Yami Shimono. Whis tapped the end of his staff on the floor to show Vegeta the live video Yami had created.

"What? What makes him think that a woman's voice is going to attract me?" Vegeta snorted. "Maybe if that was an offering of Maguro Nigiri, I would have taken the bait. Hm? Wait… That's actually a good idea," he giggled. "Should I have Zuno edit the website and add an alternate way for Earthlings to do this?"

"Now, now, milord. Please take your duties seriously. This isn't the time for jokes just because you're in a better mood now. You know very well that it's not about her voice," Whis said.

Vegeta rolled his eyes and frowned, before his expression turned neutral.

"Yeah, he is going to make the woman a blood sacrifice," Vegeta said in a more serious manner. "I am not interested any longer. Even though this was what I wanted during the time I met Anaheim."

"What do you mean?" Whis asked.

"I wanted to use the humans' weakness when it comes to their blind idolatry towards their idols as a way for me to destroy the Earth through Yami Shimono and his band of delusional bastards. I thought it's interesting to see how much of their blood these people are willing to sacrifice for the sake of their idols and their fantasies. Yami was an insane fool, and so were his fanatics."

"I see. So that's what you meant back then," Whis understood, remembering their conversation on the top of the Tongari Tower.

"The perfect world he wanted to 'recreate' doesn't exist. There is no Utopia. Light and darkness, creation and destruction, good and evil, co-exist for the sake of balance. They were only proving themselves as beings who don't need to exist in this Universe. Let them be. I will give them what they wish for when that time comes, and I will show them about the foolishness they did when it's already too late for them to escape the wrath of a God of Destruction."

"Himawari Maeda's son and that girl's best friend though… I think they are planning to stop Yami Shimono," Whis said.

Vegeta crossed his arms over his chest, pondering with a scowl. "Hmm…" he muttered to himself. "Jun Maeda is becoming quite a pest lately. Should I get rid of him? I already warned him once that if he keeps on getting in my way, he won't live to see the next day."

The following morning, Miho met up with Jun at their allotted time and place. To her surprise, Jun brought another person with him who seemed familiar to her.

"This is Keisaku Sakai," Jun introduced the man next to him. Miho stared at Keisaku with her wide eyes while Keisaku was surprised.

"Huh? Miho-chan?" Keisaku pointed.

"Sakai-san?" Miho blinked.

Jun turned his head left and right to glance at them, "Eh? Do you two know each other?" he gasped in surprise.

"Yeah, she's the granddaughter of one of my mother's friends," Keisaku responded with a nod.

"Ahh… I see," Jun nodded too. "Well, I guess the fact that you two know each other is a good thing. He can convince you that the God of Destruction is real. Sakai-san is one of the few people who had successfully summoned the God of Destruction."

Miho was stunned, "Really?"

"I lost my Hiro-chan during the Children's Parade that's why I did the ritual in my hopes of sending Jeizun Shibata to his own destruction,"

"Ahh, yes, I heard about that from Obaa-chan. I'm sorry for what happened," Miho said solemnly.

"Thank you," Keisaku said.

"You really met the God of Destruction?"

"That's right."

"Did you make the contract? Is it true that he's going to ask for your soul in exchange for your wish?"

"Kind of," Keisaku said. "How about you? What are you doing here?" he asked as the three of them sat down.

"Well…" Miho gave Jun an uncomfortable glance. Jun gave her a nod, as if to silently allow her to open up to Keisaku. Miho returned her gaze to Keisaku as Jun spoke with Krilin, who was assigned to serve them. "My friend is in trouble, you see. The Dark Destroyers are planning to hold a summoning ritual to call forth the God of Destruction and ask him to destroy this world we live in so Yami could recreate it into his own perfect world. I admit that even as a huge fan of the band, I think it's ridiculously impossible. He attempted to do this many times over his live stream vlogs for the past couple of months, but no God of Destruction showed up to him. That's why I think that just like his previous unsuccessful attempts, this one will fail as well.

"However, Maeda-san over here believed that the God of Destruction is a real thing. And he supposed that the Dark Destroyers were planning to use my friend as a blood sacrifice to the destroyer god. That the stunt about her singing songs to the God of Destruction to allure him to come over was just a cover up to hide their true intentions of killing her during the concert. While I don't really believe that the God of Destruction was real, I came here because even if the Urban Legend was true or not, my friend is going to get killed no matter what, and I have to do something to save her."

"Everything that's mentioned on the website is true," Keisaku told her. "The God of Destruction will offer a contract in which he would destroy anyone or anything you would wish for him to do so in exchange for your own existence. With that being said, once you agree to the contract, you have also signed your own destruction warrant.

"And the worst of it is that you wouldn't know when he would come to destroy you," Jun added. "It could be as soon as the target is destroyed, or the next day, or next week, or it may take years for him to do so. And because you have no idea how he destroyed the target, you wouldn't know what kind of suffering you'll have to endure before you cease to exist in the world. I'm sure destroying existence doesn't simply mean you'll just disappear into thin air. That would be too easy and too comfortable for the targets to do so. The God of Destruction seems to be a sadistic and ruthless god, I'm sure he would make his targets suffer until he is satisfied with it and then he will proceed to destroying their existences once he's done with them."

"So it truly is a hefty price to pay," Miho said.

"That's right," Keisaku agreed.

"So, what are we going to do now? How are we going to stop Yami Shimono from his plans?"

"I'm wondering if we should tell this to the girl, your friend, Hikari Ishida. Do you think you can convince her?"

"Maybe, if we have enough proof to show her that Yami was actually planning to kill her."

"Hm…" Jun muttered to himself. "I'm thinking of featuring the Dark Destroyers' preparation for their concert since they have been trending on SNS since last night's video. I'll try to ask them if I could feature them on my next live vlog, and if I ever did manage to get there, I will try to find some clues. I'll update you whenever I can."

Jun sent an email to Yami Shimono, typing down his intention of collaborating with the Dark Destroyers' main vocalist in a special vlog. Much to his surprise, Yami responded positively to the invitation. Yami wrote that he watched Jun's vlogs as well and was thankful to him because it was through Jun that he learned about the Urban Legend of the ritual to summon the God of Destruction. Jun wasn't pleased knowing that he was responsible for what might happen and it only made him more determined to stop Yami from his plans. Yami invited him to meet at the JYP Entertainment building tomorrow.

Jun was glad that Yami allowed him to make a collaboration vlog with him, and he was grateful to the popular rock-band lead vocalist for this chance. Yami seemed excited about it although deep inside, he felt a bit suspicious about Jun's sudden interest with him.

Yami saw Jun's comment on his vlog the other night so he had a feeling that the famous vlogger might try to stop him from his plans despite Jun being his source when he first heard of the Urban Legend about the ritual to summon the God of Destruction. He concluded that keeping Jun under his watchful eye would be a good idea. He wondered how he would try to stop him, though.

The following day, Jun went to the JYP Entertainment building where the Dark Destroyers were holding their practice. Jun and Yami talked about the Urban Legend, and their plans of collaboration, and both agreed that Jun may film the preparation the Dark Destroyers were doing. While doing so, Yami offered Jun a suspicious drink, which the vlogger didn't hesitate to take for he was thirsty.

When the meeting ended, and both signed an agreement paper, Jun finally went out of the meeting room, saying that he will be back tomorrow for the beginning of their vlog. When Jun disappeared, Yami told his bandmate, Gaito Yagami, to follow Jun out of the building discreetly, wanting him to investigate Jun's true intentions in wanting to collaborate with him.

Gaito followed the unsuspecting Jun Maeda into the elevator and observed him discreetly in the corner of his eyes. Jun took his phone out but suddenly felt dizzy. Gaito knew that the drugs Yami put on Jun's drink must be working now. When he was about to grab the vlogger's shoulders, the lights began to flicker, causing Gaito to look up in distress and ask himself what was happening. The elevator suddenly stopped with a single bell-like sound and the door opened. Jun trudged out into the darkness as if in a trance. Gaito was about to follow him when he suddenly froze as if sensing that something was terribly wrong. The lights within the elevator continued to flicker, but outside was nothing but total blackness. It was as if Jun was eaten by the darkness itself. Gaito decided to simply leave, his survival instincts told him to run as if he knew that if he stepped Into that place, he was going to die.

As if on cue, a terrifying sound reverberated from that blackness. It was a rabid, animal growl. Gaito saw two glowing dots, a pair of bright and fierce reddish-pink eyes observing him through the thick darkness, and then he abruptly heard a ferocious beastly roar from there. Gaito hitched back in fright, falling backwards into his behind as he stared up and inch away in pure terror until he hit the elevator wall. He quickly got up and found out from the screen above the elevator panel that he was on the fourth floor.

Fourth floor?!

But, there was no fourth floor in this building. Gaito thought as he lowered his frightened eyes into the elevator panel, reading the numbers on each button. One… Two… Three…

Five.

There was no button for the fourth floor, for such a place doesn't exist. Fourth floors on buildings in that part of the world shouldn't exist as humans believed in their superstitions that the number four represents death or bad luck, thus making them fear the number itself.

But Gaito could clearly read the number 4 from the brightly pixelated red digital numbers above the elevator button panel.

Where was he?

The beast that was in the darkness let out another but fiercer roar, as if angered at Gaito's unwelcomed presence in its bloody territory. Gaito panicked and he hurriedly pressed the close door button of the elevator to return to where Yami was.

The door closed as Gaito screamed in pure, utter terror.

As soon as Jun was on the elevator, he quickly grabbed his smartphone to send a text message to Miho and Keisaku that his first mission was accomplished. However, before he could do that, his vision suddenly blurred so he put his phone inside his pocket and concluded that he must be feeling tired from being sleepless. The lights began to flicker as well. When the elevator door opened, Jun carefully trudged out of the elevator, which he failed to realize stopped on the Fourth Floor instead of the First Floor where he must exit the building.

Someone passed by near him and intentionally bumped into his right side, causing him to drop his phone. A familiar jolt on his chest made Jun gasp and he swiftly turned around to see Vegeta halting his footsteps. Light bulbs began to flicker and the floor and walls shook. From the God of Destruction's feet, overwhelming darkness seemingly exploded and engulfed their surroundings from a brightly-lit corridor with posters of concerts and idols framed on the walls into an ominous place of infinite blackness with occasional flashes of purple lightning bolts that was separate from reality.

"You…" Jun gasped as he straightened up and faced the fearsome creature. "You are the God of Destruction, Vegeta Yonsei."

Vegeta slowly turned his head over his left shoulder so he could look back at Jun. His cold, raven-colored eyes bored into the man as he said, "You know of me, good. Himawari and Keisaku told you a lot about me. I guess there's no need for introductions, then."

How befitting that Jun met the deity who brings death and devastation in a place that shouldn't exist and was believed to be a dangerous, deadly part of a building. The Saiyan royal who bore the number of death in his own name as his generational suffix. (Yonsei is translated as 'the Fourth')

"You're just as my mother described. You are indeed a very intimidating god," Jun said.

"Himawari Maeda wasn't your mother. If she was, then you wouldn't be a pest to me right now."

"She may not be my biological mother, but she is still my mother, and you destroyed her and her entire life."

"Himawari Maeda destroyed her own life. She decided her fate. Those who associate themselves with a God of Destruction are fated to either die or be destroyed. Just like what you are trying to do. Soon, I will be taking your soul as well, Jun Maeda."

"What do you mean by that?!" Jun demanded him. "Are you here to destroy me? Or are you here to destroy my world just like how Yami Shimono wanted you to do?"

Vegeta gave him a sinister smirk, "I don't know. Maybe I am," he said playfully before his expression turned ice cold once more. "Didn't I tell you that the next time you would dare get in my way, you will not exist to see the next day? Aren't you even scared of me? Everytime I see you, you always get in my way in one way or another. You were able to convince Keisaku Sakai not to make the contract, tried to stop Anaheim Brozis, and even tried to make use of Bulma Briefs to stop me. Now, you're here trying to stop Yami Shimono from doing the summoning ritual. I don't have any idea why you remember anything about Himawari Maeda, but because of that, you are becoming such a bother. You should be scared of me, mortal."

"Of course, I'm scared of you!" Jun admitted. "You are a cold and ruthless deity who could easily kill me and destroy my world! But how could I let you have your way just like that? I know that we mortals are powerless against someone like you, there's no way we could stop you from destroying whatever you wish to. But what if there was a way? Tell me, what do you really want? What do you get from all of this chaos you're causing us?" he questioned. "Won't you be satisfied until you destroy everything?"

"What I want is none of your concern. But as the God of Destruction of this Universe, what's good or evil doesn't matter to me. I'm simply here to bring balance, and as it turns out, I am on the side of what you mortals would call the 'dark side'."

"Balance?"

"There's no such thing as a perfect world. Light and darkness coexist with one another in order to achieve balance. Where goodness, love, and kindness appear, evil, hate, and cruelty took place. In every death, a new life is born. I exist because destruction needs to occur first before creation could happen. In other words, everything that happens in this Universe is because of me.

"However, some mortals think they have control over these things. Mortals think of themselves as gods and other mortals around them worship them as if they are gods. The fools had no idea they were seeking eternal punishment by stepping into the forbidden territory of the deities. Take Yami Shimono and his fans, as you would call them, as examples of the foolishness of mortals brought by their idolatry."

Jun stared at the God of Destruction in disbelief. He's giving him another warning.

"So I was right about that after all. Those who would come to the Dark Destroyers' concert are all going to die…" Jun gasped in fear. He frowned, confused as he looked back to the God of Destruction. "Why are you telling me this?"

"Do you think a weakling like you could do it?"

"What?" Jun blinked back at Vegeta in confusion, who was looking at him with a mocking, downwards gaze.

"Power is everything in this world. The strong stands above all, and manipulates the blinded and the weak. In your society, Yami Shimono is considered to be a strong man due to his… influence. To compare, you are nothing to him since he has a huge fanbase of blinded followers compared to someone like you. Do you think you have what it takes to expose a fool like him? If so, then I dare you. I am choosing you to decide their fate. Yami Shimono, Hikari Ishida, Miho Lim, everyone who is going to be involved in that concert, and your own fate. It's up to you to stop this foolishness. This is a chance I am giving you."

"A chance?"

"Let's just say I'm in a good mood and was feeling a bit merciful today. So for once, I wanted to do what I think is right. That's why I won't be taking your pitiful soul for now. I'm giving you a chance to stop Yami Shimono and save those you want to save from me. But know that once you fail on this, then there will be no more second chances. I will be taking you to the afterlife and those who are fated to die because of their foolishness are all going to suffer my wrath… Don't waste it."

Jun gasped as if he just woke up from a dream. He suddenly found himself in front of the JYP Entertainment building, confused and pondering to himself what the hell just happened. He looked around, trying to look for any signs of the fearsome destroyer god with the flaming hair amongst the people nearby. He was gone.

Jun ran to his car and texted Miho.

'Miho-chan, Yami agreed to make a collaboration vlog with me. You may come as my assistant if you want. Meet me at my house at WST4569998 at 15:00.' he sent.

With that, Jun drove off. Vegeta was standing on the edge of the next building, with Whis behind him.

"Did you just interfere with his fate?" Whis asked.

"I simply gave him a few extra hours of life, that's all," Vegeta replied. "I'm just curious to see how he would try to stop Yami Shimono's plans. It will be up to him if he could save them, or simply waste his time trying. He knew he could not stop me from bestowing my divine punishment to Yami Shimono and his blinded followers, but since he thinks he could try, I guess giving him a chance was the right thing to do. I wanted to teach him a lesson and make him realize that a weakling's resistance is futile against those with power, that he should have stayed out of the way. I just thought that perhaps, he and I are on the same page, the only difference was, no matter what he would do, it wouldn't matter anyways since he's already cursed the very moment he got in my way. He was nothing but a weakling after all."

"But in case a miracle happens, he could change his fate, and those of Yami Shimono, Hikari Ishida, Miho Lim, and everyone who would attend that concert," Whis expressed.

"That's right. It is a chance which he shouldn't miss."

"Aren't you feeling merciful now, milord?" the guide angel remarked.

Vegeta suddenly became utterly flustered at that comment and he quickly turned around, crossed his arms over his chest and huffed angrily, "Don't get the wrong idea! I'm just trying to fix the mess I made here! It doesn't mean anything significant!"

"If you say so, milord," Whis said. He was glad that Vegeta was finally listening to their advices. He wondered how long it would last though, knowing that Vegeta was very capricious and moody man. It would only be a matter of that before he loses his temper again. He was interesting to see how this would go.

"What do you mean by he disappeared on the fourth floor?" Yami Shimono asked Gaito, who returned to him with a terrified, pale face and screaming bloody hell. They were talking about Jun Maeda and Yami was giving his subordinate a terrifying, cold glare.

"I was with him on the elevator when the elevator stopped on the fourth floor and it was so dark I couldn't see anything," Gaito explained in a fast manner. "Maeda disappeared in the darkness and then suddenly, I saw this pair of glowing eyes and heard a monstrous roar from the darkness. It was terrifying!"

"Strange… There was no fourth floor in this building. Are you sure you were not just being incompetent at your job?"

"Of course not, Yami-sama! I saw it with my own two eyes!"

"There are beliefs that the fourth floor is a gate to the otherworld, and those who arrive there are meant to die. Perhaps, it means that Jun Maeda will die soon."

Yami began to laugh darkly.

"Hehehehe… It seems like the God of Destruction is on our side. There is no one who could stop us after all!"

"Do you think that what happened is the God of Destruction's doing?"

"Of course! He is also the emissary of death and destruction! There's no doubt about it. He is waiting for our summoning! Listen, Gaito. When Hikari finishes the song, I will raise my hand. When I do so, we will kill her. She will be the blood sacrifice, her blood shall spread to the summoning circle, and will call the God of Destruction to come forth. The God of Destruction will appear, and then I will make the contract for him to destroy this rotten, impure world. Hikari should be reborn at the time, and her purity shall recreate the perfect world, a place where only pure people like us and our followers could live for all eternity."

Anyone who would hear such a menacing plan would be completely repulsed by Yami's sheer cruelty, but Gaito, who stared at Tami's eyes with a blank, empty stare, simply nodded in submission.

"Tomorrow, when the collaboration starts in case Jun Maeda shows up, just treat him like nothing happened. But always keep an eye on him. I don't want him tainting the purity of my stage. This is your mission, do you understand?"

"I understand, Yami-sama," Gaito agreed.

Meanwhile, as Jun waited for Miho, he was looking at his laptop and was listening intently through his headset. It appears that he left something really tiny in the meeting room which Yami failed to notice while he was busy signing the agreement papers.

Jun's smartphone got a call from Miho, who notified him that she was in front of his house. He let her in his home, and told her about what he did, and found.

"I'm glad that Yami agreed to the collaboration. Now we can find some clues to help us convince Hikari-chan and save the others," Miho said.

"Yeah," Jun said, before grinning mischievously. "And we have our first clue right here."

"First clue?" Miho wondered.

"I left a mini camera drone and attached it to the subordinate he sent to follow me," Jun said.

"He sent someone to follow you?"

"He sent one of his bandmates to follow me. I think his name was Gaito Yagami. The drummer of the Dark Destroyers. I knew he was being suspicious about my desire to collaborate with him on my vlog, so I made some backup plans just in case. Well, to be honest, meeting him was only a way for me to get close to him and leave my little spy robot with him. We had to do it if we needed to find clues without being too obvious. However, Yami was quite a perceptive guy. Good thing he sent that guy to follow me, otherwise, I would have to wait a bit longer.

"So, here is what I found today."

Jun made Miho listen to the conversation Maki had with Gaito. Miho stared at Jun once she heard Yami's plans for her friend.

"It's just as I suspected, right?" Jun said.

Miho nodded. "You're right… But… is it true that you entered the fourth floor?"

"I wasn't really sure about that, but maybe yes, because when I came out of the elevator, I met the God of Destruction."

"You met the God of Destruction?"

"Yeah," Jun said.

"Then, why are you here? Why are you still alive? Urban legends say that when someone comes to the fourth floor of any building where it shouldn't exist, that person will die or was cursed to die within that place."

Jun shrugged his shoulders, remembering the conversation he had with Vegeta in that eerie place.

"I am choosing you to decide their fate," Vegeta told him. "Yami Shimono, Hikari Ishida, Miho Lim, everyone who is going to be involved in that concert, and your own fate.

"That was strange," Jun wondered out loud with a frown. "He said he wanted me to stop Yami Shimono and that he wanted to do what he thinks is right. I don't get why he's giving me this chance or what he meant by what he said. It sounded like he doesn't want to destroy the world just as Yami Shimono would wish for him to do…"

"Maybe he really wasn't as bad as we thought he was," Miho said.

"I don't really know about that..." Jun seem to disagree. "But... I believe that something must be causing him to act this way."

He wondered if Bulma Briefs influenced such a decision in him.

"Hi, Bulma!"

Bulma looked up from the counter of the Ox-King's Sushi Restaurant to see a familiar looking girl staring up at her with a friendly smile. She recognized her as the goddess she met in the hospital after Vegeta destroyed Himawari Maeda from existence.

"You remember me? I'm Vegeta-chan's friend. You met me in the Sun Wukong Hospital," Yonshir asked her.

"Ah yes, I remember you," Bulma replied, inwardly wondering what this goddess was doing here. She doesn't think she was in the mood to deal with deities right now.

"Uhmm.. I would like to get some mixed sushi platter and for you to join me while I eat," Yonshir invited.

Oh, she was here as a customer. But why is she inviting her to join her?

Bulma let out a breath and forced herself to smile at her customer, "Sure, please take a seat over there and I will prepare your order."

"No, I want you to join me in that VIP room. I would like to speak to you in private."

"Private?"

"Worry not. I'm not Vegeta, I don't bite," Yonshir smiled gently as if assuring Bulma that she doesn't need to be afraid of her.

Vegeta was doing Spirit Control Meditation when he suddenly sensed a distortion happening in the flow of his Universe. It caused him to open his eyes in alert.

"What is that? I can sense a rift in reality," he observed. "Something is changing, and it's not something that's done by someone from the Seventh Universe. Wait, is this Yonshir's doing?" he asked.

"This presence. You're probably right, milord."

"Why that little– and she's even with Bulma of all people! Just what is that old hag trying to do now?" Vegeta growled. "Seriously… I am really going to destroy that darn old hag!"

Yonshir was happily gorging down her plateful of sushi as Bulma stared at her with a solemn look. She couldn't help but think of what happened with Vegeta last time, and she kept on wondering what was wrong with him that day. He tried to kill her, but he hesitated. It seems that someone ordered him to do that, yet he was being forced to do so.

"Why do you look so glum? Were you thinking about Vegeta-chan just now? How are you getting along with each other?" Yonshir suddenly asked.

"We're… We're just fine… I guess," Bulma responded with a forced smile.

"Hm? That doesn't sit right with me, you know."

"No, it's true. Really."

Yonshir shrugged her shoulders, pouting, "Well, If you say so," she said before putting a piece of sushi into her mouth. "I'm glad to know that. But… I don't know why I am afraid of knowing what may happen if this goes on."

"What do you mean by that?" Bulma asked, confused.

"You see, a God of Destruction is forbidden to have any attachments to anyone or anything in the mortal world. They are also not allowed to feel as much as you mortals do, except for their own rage as it is a necessary emotion in order to wield the divine power of destruction. The fact that Vegeta-chan is still considered as a newbie on his duty makes him vulnerable to his mortal weaknesses, and it's putting him and this entire Universe in danger. If the King of Nothingness, King Mu, would learn about this, then Vegeta-chan and the entire Seventh Universe would be utterly obliterated without mercy."

"But isn't Vegeta stronger than him? He defeated him 1500 years ago. Surely, he can defend himself now."

Yonshir laughed, "Is that what he told you? Hahaha. That boy... He's such a haughty little fool. King Mu held back his full power during their battle, and that he was only testing Vegeta-chan at that time, that there was no way a newbie God of Destruction would ever truly defeat King Mu since his powers of destruction cannot destroy immortal deities. He was still considered a low-level universe-level deity who, despite his seemingly limitless potential due to his Saiyan origins, will never be in the level of the multiverse-level deities who could freely control the flow of reality and destroy everything in the multiverse at once with a single thought."

"Wasn't there a prophecy foretold by the Oracle Fish 1,500 years ago? Wasn't Vegeta prophesied to become the strongest among all the deities?" Bulma asked.

The Goddess smiled in amusement, "Such belief in him, even after he just tried to kill you," she laughed. Bulma frowned at that. "That was a prophecy among the Gods of Creation and Destruction, and he had already fulfilled that by becoming the strongest among the universe-level deities. It doesn't foretell that Vegeta-chan will surpass the multiverse-level deities like myself, King Mu, or King Zen."

"Are you sure about that? If so, then you multiverse-level gods sure are a hasty bunch of fools," Vegeta's confident voice unexpectedly cut through the conversation. Bulma and Yonshir turned to his direction and they found him walking right towards them. "You underestimate me and my powers too much, Yonshir. You said it yourself, that I have seemingly limitless potential due to my mortal Saiyan origins. Have you forgotten that I possess unbounded power since I have already mastered the Secret of Self-Indulgence technique? I could break all of my limits in a short amount of time!"

Yonshir argued, "How arrogant! We could destroy you faster than you could get stronger, Vegeta-chan. Don't be cocky just because you managed to master such a forbidden technique."

Vegeta simply shrugged her threats off by confidently disrespecting her with a pompous smirk plastered on his face, "Go ahead and try me," he challenged.

Yonshir simply rolled her eyes at him. "I guess you're now back to your usual haughty, cocky self even after you got your arrogant little ass beaten by King Mu last time. Did you just leave your post to go to the Second Universe?"

"So what if I did? What is it to you?" Vegeta replied coldly.

"Why?"

"Mind your own business."

"You sure are stubborn."

"And you sure are persistent," Vegeta responded with a growl. Suddenly, his tone and language changed, he was speaking in the tongue of the gods, which Bulma wouldn't understand at all but Yonshir would, "Ozuderuka waga toko taitereso ottozuga masaki, baresu so. Daterefu mo den pobiyuu no nin gen noko, renaha raka no ono yomjyo noko, wano rui teshikukokei ga masareo." (I am warning you to stay away from this mortal, lay a single finger on her and you shall see what you were fearing all this time.)

His words were quick but powerful, yet it sounded so cold and threatening. Bulma felt goosebumps as she stared at his darkened demeanor.

Yonshir stared back at him in fear before she did her best to keep her stoic demeanor back. Bulma felt like these two deities were about to brawl at each other soon, but it was Yonshir who was the first to break contact.

"Such overprotectiveness…" she smiled maliciously. "Do you think you can threaten me, Vegeta-chan?"

Vegeta smirked back at her, "If I can't, then why do you feel so threatened right now?"

"I'm not!" Yonshir quickly denied.

"How many times do I have to tell you to never underestimate my senses and my perceptions? You easily give into your fear too much. I can smell it from you."

"I'm telling you right now, Vegeta-chan, your arrogance and negligence to your proper duties will cost you a lot," Yonshir sneered angrily at him before she stomped out of the place like a kid who got bullied. Vegeta and Bulma watched her go.

"Wait… She forgot to pay for her food!" Bulma realized. Damn that stupid deity! Does she even know that unpaid products would be charged to her?! Bulma cursed and decided to go after Yonshir but Vegeta quickly grabbed her wrist, stopping her from running away.

Bulma turned to him and found him looking away from her. "What do you want now?" she demanded him coldly. It was obvious that she was angry at him for what he tried to do to her last time and she wanted to hear an apology from him. A few seconds passed by and Bulma concluded that what she was waiting for won't ever come. What else was she expecting from a highly prideful, overbearing god like him?

Vegeta took a black card from his pocket and said, "Charge it here, the pin is the sixty-first year of the monkey followed by the three numbers meaning death," he told her coldly. That was all he said while he put the card next to the unfinished plate of mixed sushi before he disappeared.

"What kind of riddle was that?" Bulma wondered, frowning because of her disappointment that he didn't talk to her that much, especially when she wanted to hear an apology or an explanation from him about what happened between them last time. She wanted to know what made him so upset with her that day. She wanted to understand him. She wanted to forgive him.

But how would she do that if he won't even open up to her?

Meanwhile, Jun Maeda was in his car that was parked in a secluded place near an abandoned train station in the outskirts of Gingertown, the neighboring city of West City. as if he was waiting for someone there. A single earbud was attached on his left ear as he listened carefully to a conversation being transmitted to him by his spy bug. He was also staring at his smartphone perched on a stand next to the steering wheel, showing him a video of Yami Shimono receiving a cryptic package from a mysterious man clad in black.

A few minutes later, Jun entered the JYP building with Miho to begin his collaboration vlog with the Dark Destroyers. Yami looked quite surprised when he saw him, as if the vocalist didn't expect him to show up. Noticing this, Jun asked him if there was anything wrong and Yami simply said that he was surprised to see that he brought someone else. Jun introduced Miho as his newly recruited assistant, which Yami doesn't seem to take lightly. He clearly recognized her as being Hikari's ex-best friend and it was obvious that he didn't want her here. Yami simply ignored her and he said that they should just proceed with the live stream. Throughout the day, Miho would see Hikari around but Hikari would deliberately ignore her as if she didn't see her at all. Meanwhile, Gaito watched Jun discreetly as ordered by Yami. Jun was aware of this since he heard of their plan but he did his best to remain ignorant about it so as not to raise any suspicions.

During lunch break, Miho went to the restroom and heard a woman moaning loudly in a room she passed by. She recognized the voice belonging to Hikari as she was having an intimate love making session with Yami. Miho clasped a hand over her mouth, her face red in embarrassment before she decided to simply leave and go to the restroom. However, her footsteps were halted when she heard something.

"Please, Yami-sama, give it to me," Hikari begged, panting.

"What did I tell you about staying away from that filthy, impure bitch?" Yami growled at her.

"Aah! I… I didn't. I stayed away from Miho as you ordered me to do. Aaah! But… But… I didn't know she was going to come over here as much as you did. Kyaah! "

Miho heard Yami grunted loudly, and the rapid sound of their bodies slamming hard on each other echoed along with Hikari's cries of pain and pleasure. Miho wanted to flinch in disgust.

"Don't you ever defy my orders again, Hikari. Since you have become a member of the Dark Destroyers, your body and soul are mine." Yami growled at Hikari as his thrusts came harder.

"Yes..! Yes..! Yami-sama! I belong to no one but you! My body and soul are yours and yours only! So please! Please! I beg of you to forgive me! Please give it to me!"

Hikari let out a final cry as she finally reached her orgasm, Yami followed her with his release. Both panted as they both relaxed. Hearing that the love making was over, Miho decided to peek and saw Yami reaching out to caress Hikari's red face. Her eyes were cloudy and blank, as he whispered to her ear, "Good girl," he praised her. He took something from his pocket, a small, plastic container with colorful pills in it. He flipped the top open, took a pill from it, and put said pill inside Hikari's open mouth. Hikari swallowed and she threw her head back, moaning as Yami ravaged her long, white neck with kisses.

'What the hell is that?!' Miho wondered. She turned around and walked away just in time before the two decided to return to the studio.

The vlog was finished before sunset. Jun and Miho returned to Jun's home after that. Jun asked her for her assistance that day and said that she should come in and eat dinner with him, he would cook her one of his specialties. Miho solemnly agreed. Jun noticed Miho's mood and asked her what was wrong. Miho told him what she just discovered. Jun simply nodded and told her to follow him inside his room where he checked on the spy camera he secretly attached to Miho. Miho was surprised by this and she became mad at Jun for not asking any permission, wondering if he would see her go to the restroom. Jun assured her that he removed the spy bug while she was on her toilet break and showed her proof that there weren't any recordings of her doing her private things. With that settled, Jun checked on what Miho told him about.

"I can't believe what Yami was doing to her," Miho admitted. "She's being manipulated against her own wishes!"

"Papaver Somniferum," Jun snorted. "No wonder why those around him looked like they were being hypnotized by him. Overusing that drug makes them highly dependent on it and since Yami is their only source for such a thing. I think he uses this to manipulate everyone around him. It also explains why he had all these crazy delusions."

"What should we do now? How can we save Hikari-chan?"

"Well, we have all the proof we needed to expose that bastard to the public," Jun told her. "If he gets exposed, he will definitely go down. Then Hikari Ishida would dump him. And then I will be able to have a good name for myself! What do you think?"

The next day… Yami sat in front of his computer with a deep scowl over his face. Hikari was beside him, trying to calm him down. They were watching a new video content Jun Maeda just released early this morning, which completely exposed the darkness behind Yami Shimono and the Dark Destroyers. Jun revealed in the video how he was able to get this information so discreetly, managing to oversmart Yami and his goons and doing all of this under their noses all this time.

"Jun Maeda, that fucking bastard…" Yami snarled. "I am going to kill him!"

Yami created a vlog so he could release a statement to the public and prove his innocence, calling out Jun for the fake photos and the betrayal he did after the collaboration. Most people were outraged in the comments, but the Dark Destroyers' super fanatics still defend their idol. Yami's hatred spurred at that moment, and his desire to destroy this damn world only grew. He could not wait to summon the God of Destruction and tell him to destroy this world for him.

But for now… that bastard, Jun Maeda must be punished.

Vegeta watched as Jun Maeda was flocked by reporters and cameramen in front of his home. The God of Destruction shook his head in distaste, "Just look at this fool. He thinks this is over just because he managed to expose Yami Shimono," he said to himself.

"You think this isn't over yet?" Whis asked.

"Of course, it's not over yet.

When everyone finally left after all of their questions were answered, Jun noticed Vegeta's presence not far away. He gave the scowling God of Destruction a smile, silently telling him that he did as he was told to do. The Hakaishin turned away, looking on the side. Jun blinked at such a cold response, he turned to where Vegeta was looking at.

Something hit Jun on the face and everything went dark for him.

Jun was awakened by the overbearing pain of someone kicking him so hard. He let out a cough filled with blood and when he shot his eyes open, he found four mysterious men pummeling him. He tried to defend himself but eventually realized that his hands were restrained on his back. He couldn't even speak as there was something inserted in his mouth, a hankerchief perhaps, to keep him from making any loud noise. The four unknown but strong men continued battering him for god knows how long, until a newcomer arrived.

The newcomer slowly approached him, and once he got closer to the injured vlogger, crouched down next to him, looking down at him like a kid planning to crush a worthless insect.

"Just who do you think you are, Jun Maeda? Do you think you are some sort of hero? Heh! You must think of me as a fool, don't you? Well, that's too bad for you, though. My influence is bigger than yours. Even the God of Destruction chose my side."

"What are you saying, you delusional bastard?" Jun said.

"You didn't know? I was sent in here to kill you."

Yami took out a dagger from his pocket. Seeing it, Jun began to fear for his life.

"Please… No… Stop it. I beg of you! I won't tell anyone about what I saw. I won't get in your way any longer. Just please let me go!"

Yami simply stared down at him with his cold, dark eyes. There was no soul nor any remorse in those eyes. For some reason, those eyes reminded him of Vegeta's merciless gaze.

Jun felt the cold, sharp metal piercing him ceaselessly, warm blood ooze out of his mouth and his deep, painful wounds. It was so agonizing he wished to just die instantly, but death was slow to come. He felt every thrust of the knife, the blood coming out of him. His vision continued to blur, and his world spun around.

After what it seemed like hours of pure torture, Yami ceased his assaults. He and his men left Jun to die in that freezing, empty garage. Jun tried to seek help, crying out his pain, but no one was there to help him.

"I don't want to die. Please… Someone, help me…" Jun begged.

A familiar figure came to his view, staring down at him.

"Vegeta… Yonsei?" he recognized. He began crying. "How could you..? I thought that you're on my side…" he asked, feeling betrayed.

"I never said that I will be taking anyone's side. Why are you both assuming that?" Vegeta told him. "What Yami Shimono told you was a lie and you believed him. I am a God of Destruction, I don't choose favorites. I gave you a chance, and I told you that if you wasted it, I would be taking your soul, didn't I?"

"No! Not yet! Please! I don't want to die yet! I have to help Miho-chan…"

"It doesn't work that way. It's already too late for you."

"Wait– please! I beg of you… Since it's already too late for me… Could you… Could you at least do me… a favor?" Jun asked weakly.

Vegeta rolled his eyes. Here he was again listening to stupid mortals' dying wishes.

"What is it?" Vegeta asked, annoyed.

"Will you please help Miho-chan stop the Dark Destroyers?"

"It depends. If she would call for me, then maybe I would once she agrees to the contract I will offer her."

"Does it really have to end like this?"

Vegeta nodded as he simply watched as Jun slowly lost his life force. The flame within the human's soul slowly got smaller and smaller until it was nothing but a tiny spark. Jun's red blood continued to spread in a pool underneath his dying body.

"Then, will my blood be enough sacrifice to you?" Jun asked in a weak voice. "I will make that contract with you. Just please… Help Miho-chan stop Yami Shimono and save everyone."

Vegeta didn't respond to that.

"You said that you wanted to do the right thing for once, right? Please… Use your power… To save everyone…"

Vegeta nodding back to him was the last thing Jun saw before his life was taken from him.

Jun Maeda's soul, a bluish-white flame, emerged from its lifeless mortal shell and approached the God of Destruction who took it in his hands.

"A God of Destruction's power cannot help or save anyone... I only bring death and devastation to all that exists... But..." Vegeta muttered to himself. "I wonder if there was a way for me to use it for what I believe is the right thing to do. To destroy in order to save and protect something, just like what Granolah wanted me to do."

In his 1,500 years of being a God of Destruction, Vegeta never thought of himself as a protector nor a savior of mortals, even though he does help fulfill the wishes of mortals who prayed to him to be saved or protected from the cause of their miseries, in exchange for an even worse fate of course. The mortals foolishly believed that he could save and protect them, which he actually couldn't do. His powers were meant to kill and destroy, nothing else, and those who associated themselves with him are bound to die or be destroyed in one way or another, no matter what.

He suddenly remembered Bulma's words to him, telling him that he once saved the Universe when he became a God of Destruction. While it was true, it wasn't really part of his plan. He simply became a God of Destruction so he could continue to exist and see how Yogengyo's prophecy would unfold. He never had the intention to save this Universe at all.

But now... Between destroying this world or helping a human stop a crazy bastard from doing so, which is the right thing to do? Whis told him to do what he thinks was right according to his judgment. While he initially hated this miserable planet for that darn fruit, and how it makes him sick due to how weak its inhabitants are, he had to admit that staying around Bulma made him see the good things the Earth could offer. He still wanted to see more of it, to learn more of it, to give the humans the chance to continue existing in his Universe (at least, the deserving ones according to his judgment).

The right thing for him to do was...

To destroy, of course. Not this world, but whoever tried to step into his godly territory, preceed his decision, and defy his judgment.

And for this, he will do Jun his little favor.

The following morning, Miho was eating her breakfast while texting Jun Maeda, who had not replied yet since his last message to her yesterday afternoon.

Maeda-san, please respond. I'm getting worried. She sent.

Her phone rang once but it was a message from Keisaku Sakai instead:

Miho-chan, have you seen the news? It read.

No, what's up? she replied.

Keisaku sent her a link to a new websitez which Miho tapped on her smartphone and found the unexpected, devastating news that made her go into shock. It read as follows:

A lifeless body was discovered inside a black garbage bag in an abandoned train station near WST69998436 at 5:36 this morning. The corpse is identified as one of the internet's biggest names in the content creator industry, Jun Maeda, 38 years old. He was tied, beaten, and with multiple stab wounds on his torso and back. It is assumed that the cause of death was due to blood loss. Police are currently investigating the case, and they believed that Maeda-san was killed somewhere else and was only thrown on the place where he was discovered, especially when lately several corpses are found being dumped on the site…

Miho stared at her phone in horror. She put her hand over her gaping mouth as she gazed at the censored picture of the crime scene next to Jun Maeda's smiling picture when he was still alive. Guilt crept into her heart as she realized Jun must have been killed because of her, and she screamed and cried out in her grief. This caused her grandmother, Keigo Lim, to worry about her.

Miho skipped school and locked herself in her room for the rest of the day. Keisaku tried to call her but she didn't answer. She didn't wish to speak with anyone at all. She was so guilty for what happened to Jun and she wondered if he would ever forgive her for causing him to die such a terrible death. He must be in pain, alone… She can't imagine what brutal things Yami must have done to him.

Miho stared at her phone, watching Yami's vlog where she met Jun for the first time, and read Jun's comment and personal messages to her over and over again. She gazed at her best friend's image on the video. Her eyes filled with tears. What must she do now?

The God of Destruction… the idea suddenly came into her mind as if someone whispered it to her. She wondered if she tried that ritual, would a God of Destruction appear before her? Would he listen to her prayer? Will he come to help her and save Hikari-chan?

She turned her head to look at her bedside alarm clock. It was 3:15 a.m. With her mind only filled with her anxiety about her best friend, wanting to save her from Yami's evil plans, and avenge Jun's death, she took a cutter and used it to make a small cut on her finger. Fresh, red blood dropped into her pajamas as she desperately chanted, "Please, Hakaishin-sama! Hear my prayer and help me!" and repeated it about ten times.

No God of Destruction appeared before her.

Miho sighed to herself as she put down her index finger wrapped with an adhesive bandage while she lay sleepless on her bed. It had been four hours since she tried to summon the God of Destruction.

"Maybe the other guy was right. It was all probably just a hoax," Miho said to herself, disappointed. "What do I do now? Today is the eve of Halloween. If I tell Hikari-chan about Yami's plans, she probably won't even believe me and she'll get mad at me. I don't want that. But… But if I don't, she's going to die tomorrow at three in the morning…"

Miho remembered how much Hikari changed from an innocent-looking, respectful girl, now she looked like a rebellious delinquent. She wondered what Mrs. Chitose Ishida would think about her daughter now if she ever saw her.

In the end, she decided to give Hikari's mom a call. She could probably ask for her help after all.

Miho went to the foyer and picked up the telephone to call Hikari's home. Her mother picked up although she didn't sound very pleasant like she usually does whenever she talked to her over the phone. She sounded scared and distressed.

"Hello Ishida-san, this is Miho. May I please have a word with Hikari-chan?" she said.

There was silence in the other line, although Miho heard the sound of banging doors.

"Uh… Hikari..?"

"Ya! I've been calling for you for the past ten minutes, you old hag! Are you hard of hearing and you won't even answer me?!"

Miho heard her best friend harshly yelling at her mother. It also sounded like Hikari smacked her mother's head because she heard Chitose whine through the phone.

"Uh… Ishida-san?" Miho asked timidly.

"It's because Miho-chan was looking for you," Chitose replied to her daughter, her voice breaking.

"Miho?" Hikari repeated with a cold, emotionless tone.

Miho heard Chitose whine again then Hikari spoke through the other line, "I'm busy. Bye."

Miho stared at the wall in shock as the disconnect tone continued to screech on the phone. Did Hikari just slammed the phone down at her without even listening to what she was about to tell her?

She put the phone down and sighed. She had to tell this to Hikari herself, she cannot have Chitose relay the cryptic message for she feared it may cause her friend's mother to worry. Mrs. Ishida has some anxiety issues after all. If she texted her, she might get ignored as well.

How about going to their house personally? Yes, that's right. That's what she would do.

However, before she could even step out of the house, she received a message from Jun Maeda.

Miho decided to stop by Hikari's house to tell her what Yami Shimono was planning. When she got there, what she found made her stomach turn in disgust.

Miho heard shouting and crying from inside the house so she knocked on the front door. The voices stopped and the door slid quarterway. Mrs. Ishida peeked, her bruised eyes filled with tears. Her hair disheveled and her body trembling in fear as she spoke with quivering lips and a broken voice, "Ah, Miho-chan, it's you. I'm sorry but Hikari-chan just got home and is busy at the moment."

The door to the hallway behind the front door slid open loudly, and Hikari angrily appeared behind her mother. With one sweep of her arm, she pushed the beaten woman falling sidewards before getting out and facing Miho herself.

"What do you want now, Miho? Didn't I tell you that we are busy?!" she yelled, pushing off her. Miho stared in shock at how much the once pure and innocent Hikari had changed into a delinquent bitch.

"Hikari-chan, just what do you think you are doing to your mother?!" Miho demanded. "Did you do that? Did you just beat your mother up?! What the hell is wrong with you?! That's just cruel! Snap out of it! You shouldn't have done that to her?!"

Hikari slapped her hands away from her as if she was disgusted by her, "Mind your own business! I always beat that useless old hag to death every single day! You are well-aware how much she is against Yami-sama and the Dark Destroyers! She called them evil! And that they are going to bring me my doom one day! She doesn't have the right to say those things to Yami-sama!"

"No, Hikari-chan! Your mother is right!"

"What?"

"Hikari-chan, listen to me. That concert on the night of Halloween, you are going to be sacrificed to the God of Destruction. Yami is going to kill you! He will sacrifice your blood to summon the God of Destruction into the world. He is serious about wanting to destroy everything! It's not some dream or delusion of his! Instead of signing the contract with his own blood, he will sacrifice you so he could save himself! The new world he's talking about? Such a thing does not exist for those who are destroyed by the God of Destruction!"

For a moment, Hikari stared at Miho in utter surprise. At first, she looked as if she was going to believe her friend, but…

She laughed it off. Her laugh was a mad, crazed cackle.

Then suddenly, Hikari's countenance changed. Her facial expression suddenly turned catatonic, as if some dark veil had covered her presence. Her brown eyes were cold and mocking. It took Miho by surprise, especially when Hikari grabbed at her hair.

"How dare you accuse Yami-sama of planning such vile crimes, you bitch?" Hikari growled. She abruptly hurled Miho into the ground. "Don't you ever come near me again, you filth. Don't you dare come to our concert. Dirty, lowly fools such as you aren't welcome into the new world Yami-sama and I will create, do you understand?!"

With that, Hikari entered the house, slamming the door angrily, leaving a devastated Miho in tears on the streets.

When Miho got back home, her grandmother called her for lunch in the dining room. Miho muttered that she wasn't hungry and wished to go to her room. Keigo knew there was something wrong with her granddaughter and she became worried when she saw her red, puffy eyes and crestfallen expression. The old lady asked her only granddaughter if there was anything seriously wrong. Miho forced herself to smile at Kougo and said that she was only tired and not in the mood to eat anything or talk about it before heading straight to her room.

When Miho shut her bedroom door closed, Keigo, who was left downstairs quickly looked up to the direction of her granddaughter's room as if she sensed something there. She quickly ran towards the said room to check on Miho, only to find it empty.

Meanwhile, Miho gasped in terror when she found her room suddenly darkened as soon as she closed her door. It was like a moonless night with how dark her room was now. Her body grew cold, her heart began to pound against her chest and she could clearly hear its beating and her panicked breathing. She froze in absolute fear of the unknown, asking herself what was happening. She suddenly sensed an ominous presence right behind her, so she forced herself to calm herself down as her wide, horror-stricken eyes shakily moved to look at the full body mirror pinned behind her bedroom door.

"Is anyone there?" she asked carefully, her voice obviously scared. She had no idea who entered her room without her grandmother knowing, but her assumption was it was someone planning to kill her. Perhaps, Yami learned her acquaintances with Jun and sent someone to kill her like he did with Jun?

There was a flash of purple lightning and you saw a black shadow behind you. A shape belonged to a well-built muscular man with hair that stood like a black flame. He was staring right at her in the mirror, smiling. The sight of the eerie figure made her scream in her fright.

"You summoned me," the figure suddenly spoke in a voice that was cold enough to send chills instantly running down her spine. "I am the God of Destruction, the deity responsible for the death and devastation of all that exists in this Universe, Vegeta Yonsei."

"Hakaishin-sama!" Miho breathed, feeling herself finally calm down. She turned around to face the destroyer deity in utter disbelief. He looked exactly the same as the painting posted on the Chillypasta website. "You came! Maeda-san and Sakai-san were right about you! You really do exist!"

"I wouldn't be here if I didn't. I wasn't planning on coming here in the first place because you were doubting my existence. I don't usually respond to mortals who don't believe in me. But… Let's just say I made a word with someone you must know."

"Someone I know? Was it Maeda-san?" Miho asked.

"Jun Maeda asked me to do him a favor," Vegeta told her. "He specifically asked me to help you stop Yami Shimono in order to save your friend and those who will get involved in the crossfire my wrath would bestow about them, but a God of Destruction on duty does not help by saving mortals as I am only capable of causing death and misery. If they choose to follow Yami Shimono, then their fate has already been sealed. However, I am giving you a chance to save your friend from me. That is, if you could convince her to listen to you, of course."

"Really?"

"But you should know that it wouldn't be as easy as you think," Vegeta warned. "Jun Maeda may have sacrificed his blood to me in exchange for this favor, but it doesn't necessarily mean that it could save everyone from me. It also doesn't mean that you are safe once you manage to save yourselves from me. Remember that those who managed to cheat death would only make matters worse for them, giving themselves a fate even worse than what they were supposed to suffer if they didn't defy my power…" Vegeta gave her a sinister smile. "Are you willing to take a risk that could prolong your friend's pitiful life for quite some time?"

"But Hikari-chan wouldn't even listen to me, so I don't think I can convince her to believe me," Miho said.

"Like I said, it wouldn't be easy. Trying to tell her Yami's plans outright won't affect her. She is aware that she is going to be sacrificed to me."

Miho's eyes widened, "Eh?! She knows?!"

"She chose to follow Yami Shimono, didn't she? Regardless of being manipulated or not, she made her choice while in her right mind… and she even chose to throw away your precious friendship like it was an insignificant thing to her. I don't understand why you still see her as your best friend even after the betrayal she just did to you. Are you even sure you still want to save her from me?"

"I don't think someone like you would understand how I feel, but I consider Hikari-chan as one of the important people in my life. When a person is important to you, you would do anything to help that person when you know she is in trouble. I believe that Hikari-chan isn't hopeless. I know I can still help her."

"Ooh," Vegeta grinned, amused. "You're an interesting girl. If you persist in this rescue mission of yours, then I suggest that you should go and find a way to save her on your own. You are free to call me by my name when you think it is hopeless and you still want to save her. Then, by that time, I will kill Yami Shimono and send him to hell where he belongs."

Miho decided that she would come to the concert. If she cannot convince Hikari to believe her, then she would drag her away from that place if she must.

But how would she do that? This place is crowded by fans! Miho wondered to herself as she stared at the numerous people going into the concert venue. Her world began to spin due to her anxiety, all these people are going to die tonight?

Miho pushed her way near the front, near the sidelines so Hikari or any other member of the Dark Destroyers wouldn't notice her in the sea of crowd. She made some observations around her, checking out a path for her to easily jump into the stage whenever it was necessary, and finding a way towards the fire exit that was closest to her.

When the curtains rolled out and spotlights were turned out, Hikari was standing at the center of the stage, dressed in black evening gown. Behind her, Miho saw the massive, ten feet tall metal wall Yami was planning to use to kill her best friend. It made her gasp in horror and she automatically became alert, focusing on how she would try to save Hikari.

Hikari began singing…

🎶If I could wipe out everything, I would have done it with you.

It doesn't matter if everything will be taken from me,

All I want is the pleasure of being satisfied with what I want, nothing more.

So let us destroy this world,

And be together for all eternity,

In a new world,

In a new world,

Where we are free to do what we want

For eternity.🎶

Miho watched anxiously as Hikari sang the ritual song at the center of the eerie-looking summoning circle within the stage as everyone around her cheered and chanted.

🎶So come… come… Come closer.

My dear dark destroyer,

Unleash your wrath and show us

What pure destruction is like.

Come… come… Come…

Here I am calling out to you,

Come, take everything and destroy this world with me.

I offer myself to you.

Help us create a new world~🎶

When the song was finally finished, Hikari opened her eyes to see Miho in the sea of people below her, the only one in the crowd watching at her anxiously instead of in complete awe like the rest of her starstrucked audience. An ear-piercing screeching, metallic sound caused Hikari to look behind her and finally saw the hefty-looking metal wall prop slowly dropping right towards her. Her body went frigid as terror rendered her unable to move. All she could do was flinch her eyes and at least, prepare herself for a brutal death.

She heard Miho scream a strange sounding name that sounded like lord of vegetables or something like that before everything went black for her.

Everyone stared breathlessly and in silence at what just happened on the stage. It was as if all people had been frozen by shock. Yami began to chuckle darkly, before he threw his head back and declared:

"Ahh… Hakaishin-sama! Come! Come forth and destroy this world for me!"

The lights suddenly went off. The entire concert hall became pitch black, until purple lightning flashed to illuminate his surroundings.

A terrifying shadowy figure of a man with flame-shaped hair appeared a few feet in front of him. At the sight of him, Yami fell to his knees and began to worship the ominous being.

"Thank you for coming, oh great and mighty destroyer god, Vegeta Yonsei-sama! We are your servants. Please destroy everything in this world, and then Hikari and I would recreate it to build a new Utopia."

Vegeta didn't respond. He simply stared at this lunatic human being with such disgust. What the fuck was this guy doing anyways? Being worshiped by such a selfish, psychopathic fool gives him such goosebumps. He wanted to puke, but him doing that would be too ungodly for him.

"The world that you wish to create doesn't exist. There is no Utopia. There is no perfect world for anyone," Vegeta told him coldly. "There is a reason why the filth in this world exists. You cannot eliminate them from this world, for it is part of the balance of this Universe. The filth you are speaking of is a part of me. And I am an existence that you must not seek."

"What do you mean? You can destroy this entire world, right?"

"Of course, I can. But it is not up to your decision whether I destroy this world or not. I do not take orders from lowly mortals such as yourself. Only I can decide the fate of this world, and your life."

Yami was devastated. The God of Destruction refused to do what he asked him to do. He was even told that the Utopia he wished to create doesn't exist. This is unacceptable!

"If my Utopia doesn't exist, then I will create it! I shall become the god of the new world! I will destroy everything in this darn world! Hahahahahaha!" Yami suddenly declared, laughing like a madman who has completely lost his mind.

Vegeta shook his head in distaste. This human had totally lost it. He was sure that if Anaheim still exists, he would be greatly disappointed with his best friend. "You crazy bastard. I am destruction itself. A powerless mortal like you can never step into the territory of a destroyer god. Such foolish attempts are punishable by none other than your own destruction."

Yami continued to laugh maniacally and boisterously, not caring about what Vegeta was telling him anymore. He had completely turned into a psychotic fool who thinks he's a god. Vegeta scowled, deciding that this hopeless guy must not exist in his universe.

"For all the innocent lives that you have killed, for your attempt to sacrifice Hikari Ishida to me, and for trying to step into my territory of death and destruction, you have incurred the wrath of the God of Destruction of this Universe and now, you shall receive divine punishment for your unforgivable sins. Yami Shimono, you have been judged and therefore, your existence shall be destroyed here and now.

"Before creation, comes destruction. To keep the balance of this Universe, one must be destroyed for the creation of another to happen. Now, receive the consequences of your wrongdoings…"

Yami's laughter faded when black shadow figures began to encircle him. Each looked like the people he had ruthlessly murdered just because they got in his way of doing this ritual, including that of Jun Maeda. Yami suddenly became terrified as all the shadows loomed over him and began stabbing him as many times as he did to them.

As Yami screamed in agony, the metal prop that was used to kill Hikari Ishida magically lifted from the floor. From it, Hikari's remains rose.

In reality, Hikari was actually alive, as when Miho screamed Vegeta's name, he came just in time to create a closed space to send Yami off into another dimension. Someone lifted the metal wall with just his index finger and pushed the thing towards Yami's direction.

Within the closed space, the metal wall came bulldozing right towards Yami until it hit him and the other wall behind him, causing Yami's physical body to get crushed in between and explode into blood and gore like a squashed pomegranate.

Vegeta licked his bloody lips in satisfaction at the blood he had spilled today, but he had not enough of it yet. His deranged eyes burned with the pinkish red light caused by the power of destruction pumping through him caused by the Secret of Self-Indulgence technique. He doesn't need the blood of innocents to be offered to him, what he actually wants is the blood of those who have dark desires in their hearts, such as Yami Shimono's. It's always more satisfying to see evil beings learn their lesson the hard way and pay with their own blood rather than that from a pure, innocent soul.

As for all the attendees of the cult Yami had created… Since they all went to the concert on their own accord even after knowing the truth that Jun tried to warn them about, the fact that Yami was about to wish for the destruction of their world and wishing to follow their idol to the next world, the God of Destruction decided that there's no salvation for them all. He was going to fulfill their wishes.

Pretty soon.

Back to reality, as soon as the audience realized that Yami was unexpectedly crushed under that metal wall, they snapped out of their shock and began to panic. Everyone was devastated by what they just witnessed before their eyes. Hikari cried out, running towards the metal wall, trying to push it away to hopefully save her boyfriend.

Not far behind the stage, something sparked and exploded. The pyrotechnics used by the band during the concert had set fire through the acoustic foam that quickly surrounded the stage. Miho grabbed the crying Hikari and pulled her away from the burning stage.

The flames quickly spread across the entire concert hall with incredible speed. The audience quickly rushed to the main exit of the fiery building, which shut down with some supernatural force, and their only way out became jammed with trampled people. There was a stampede. Cries and screams of the people's last moments as they burned to their deaths echoed through the walls and could be heard by the devastated and terrified witnesses outside.

Just as Jun Maeda tried to warn everyone, those who would come to the Dark Destroyer's concert were all going to die, as they all chose to follow Yami Shimono to his new world, Jigoku itself, the price of blinded idolatry these fools brought to themselves. They suffered a very brutal death bestowed to all attendees by the God of Destruction. Nearly 4,444 people lost their lives in that moment, only in a space of six minutes. Only Miho Limp and Hikari Ishida were able to survive that fire after Miho saw Vegeta coming out of the building as if he was guiding them out to safety. When they came out of the burning building, he was gone, then both girls fainted in the streets.

The screams and cries of terror ceased completely. The fire that raged within the building burned down and eventually disappeared. When rescuers arrived, they found Miho and Hikari unconscious on the ground. They were immediately brought to Sun Wukong Hospital.

The next day, the West City was devastated by the news of Yami Shimono's death and the deadly fire that happened after that. What Jun Maeda warned in the comments section became a trending topic on social media. Some claimed him to be a hero because he tried to warn and save those people but because of their blinded idolatry, they all paid for their sins and were punished by the God of Destruction. The Chillypasta website pertaining to the Urban Legend about the ritual to summon the God of Destruction suddenly had a huge number of views. News Articles and podcasts were released across the newspapers, internet, and even television and radio shows about the incident, with topics such as "Could the God of Destruction be actually real?" or "Did the God of Destruction do this to the Dark Destroyers' Halloween Concert?". Humans became more intrigued and curious about the existence of the God of Destruction.

Miho, who miraculously survived the fire, doesn't seem to remember what exactly happened that night. Yes, she still remember most of what happened, like how Yami was crushed under that hefty metal wall and how she pulled Hikari away from the burning concert hall and the building, but any memories of her meeting the God of Destruction and following him out of the fiery place to save herself and her best friend in the fire were completely erased. So when people came to her, asking her if she believed that the God of Destruction was behind that fire, she answered that it's not, a God of Destruction doesn't exist. What happened that night was Yami's doing all along because he planned everything right from the start due to his crazed obsession with the Urban Legend.

Still though, she couldn't help but fear the consequences of her and Hikari surviving the fire unscathed. She and Hikari cheated their deaths, but at what cost?

Vegeta was sitting on a tree branch, watching closely at Miho and Hikari who were sitting next to each other on a grass field overlooking the vast sea in front of them and the West City nearby. The two girls just made it up with each other, with Hikari apologizing to her best friend for everything she had done. Jun Maeda's soul flickered on the top of his right shoulder as if trying to communicate with Vegeta about how glad he was that the two girls are finally together again. Vegeta smiled as he agreed. With that, Jun's soul thanked him for doing his last wish and prepared itself for its destruction.

Vegeta raised his hand, pointing at somewhere behind him with his thumb. A bright light shined and a portal to the Otherworld appeared.

"I don't remember offering you a contract. I only agreed to do you a favor. You should consider yourself lucky that I'm still in a good mood so I'll let you go and give you a chance to be reborn. But don't you misunderstand my intentions, I only did this because I was curious about something. Whatever that is, it wasn't as bad as I expected it to be. I will let you go. You can go ahead and peacefully leave the world of the living."

It didn't leave as it was told.

"Go now, while I'm still in the mood to show you mercy," Vegeta growled in warning when Jun's soul refused to leave.

The soul pulsed.

Vegeta blinked back at the mortal soul, it said something like: "You're not as evil as I originally thought you were. Thank you, Hakaishin-sama, no, Vegeta Yonsei-sama."

The God of Destruction rolled his eyes at it before letting out a loud, haughty snort.

With that, Jun proceeded to the otherworld where he would wait for his soul to be reborn one day.

"Very impressive, Vegeta-sama!" Whis clapped happily.

"Hmph!" Vegeta snorted back. "You're right. Doing what I think is the right thing wasn't as bad as I thought it would be."

"I told you, right?" Whis giggled. "I admit you managed to hold yourself for quite some time. I honestly thought you wouldn't last a single day and would simply decide to just kill everyone."

"If you only knew, I was on the verge of doing that," Vegeta sighed. "Let's go. I want to eat tons of Maguro Nigiri today. I have to take back the black card I left Bulma the other day."

"Oh, so did you two manage to make it up with each other too?"

"No," Vegeta replied nonchalantly.

Whis blinked, "Why is that?" he asked curiously.

Vegeta didn't answer Whis' question for a few moments.

"With regards to Bulma Briefs, I already made my decision," Vegeta told him. "I realize that as long as she's close to me, I only bring danger to her life. Yonshir just wouldn't stop nagging me about it, she had to even get Bulma involved… or so I thought. Rushiferu was right. It was I who brought her to this. She suffered and died in her first life because of me, she is also suffering in her second because of me. I have to correct that so she could live longer in her second."

"So that means you're going to stay away from her?" Whis was surprised.

"I don't do this because I am taking orders from anyone. I simply want to keep her safe from any danger and staying away from her is the best option. Once we're done here, I shall never see her again."

And that was also the last time Vegeta would ever eat his favorite Maguro Nigiri on that place ever again.
