Avenging Flash
Chapter Two: Assembling the Avengers.
"I think I could design better equipment for Your organisation, I mean I designed Flash's. His suit is bullet resistant, heat and friction proof and also quite comfortable. Not to mention all the hidden Features." Cisco boasted with a small grin.
Maria resisted the urge to strangle the man and merely kept her thoughts on flying the jet they were currently in, reminding herself that in 5 minutes they would be on the Helicarrier and then she wouldn't have to deal with him anymore.
"Cisco, just stop talking. Shield has a literal division of engineers, seamstresses and designers for each and every high ranking Agent." Wells pointed out, having had enough of the rambling.
"What's their biotech division like?" Caitlin asked, looking up from her tablet. She had been Looking over Barry's vitals, making sure that the young man was okay. She saw him as a little brother and worried about him constantly. Especially after he saved her Fiancé, who was now off goodness knows where.
"I do not know, I have not visited their academy In many years. But I assume it is still as advanced as it was before. I even think that a few of their best and brightest could rival Cisco, Barry and perhaps even yourself." Harrison replied with a small smile.
'Challenge accepted' Cisco and Caitlin both thought at the same time.
(The Bridge)
"Dude this is awesome." Barry muttered, his cowl still on as he walked into the room. He was using his powers to vibrate his face and vocal cords, that way his identity would stay anonymous.
First of all, while he was seeing his team off to the lab, he found out that this aircraft carrier was in fact a giant quadcopter. Meaning it had four rotors and could literally fly. Not too long after that, he was informed that the director would like to see him on the bridge, which blew the teens mind. The director of Shield, wanted to see him, personally.
So of course, Barry agreed and followed the hot red headed agent onto the bridge. And like the kid he was, he took a few moments to just look around the extremely cool space at super speed. Zipping from one end of the bridge to the other (even across the ceiling) before any of the other people who were on said Bridge could blink. "ALLEN, Get your ass off the ceiling."
"Uhh, mister fury sir, my identity-"
"We figured out who you were in less than two hours, your friends aren't the only tech geniuses in the world. And your lab security while advanced compared to civilian tech, is not above ours."
Barry muttered something under his breath before taking off his cowl, he then folded his arms in annoyance. He had made a bet with Oliver Queen that more people knew the Green arrow's identity than his, and now he was probably going to lose. Damn secret agency..
"Uh hi there, you must be the flash" An older man said from behind Barry, his tone was slightly nervous but he had a kind and welcoming presence to him.
Barry did a double take upon seeing who it was that was greeting him. It was freaking Bruce Banner, expert in gamma radiation and many other scientific fields. This dude was one of Cisco and Caitlin's idols. (Not to mention his own)
"Y-Your"
"The hulk, Green rage monster, yes." The man sighed, waiting for the young boy to fanboy over the other guy.
"No, well yes. You're not a monster in my opinion but that's not why I'm freaking out, you're THE Bruce Banner, I've read tons of your papers and books. My friends and I are huge fans!" Barry said, Holding out his hand with a massive grin.
Bruce smiled and took his hand, shaking it with gratitude, finding it refreshing that this vigilante knew him for his Intelligence and not the brute that was his alter ego. "Thank you, I needed that." He whispered.
"Uh okay, you're welcome?" Barry whispered back, confused as to why the man was thanking him.
"Fury, how old is this kid?" A blonde muscular man asked the director, not liking how young and excitable the boy was.
"Allen?" Fury sighed, gesturing for the young man to reveal his age if he wished too.
"I'm seventeen in two months." Barry shrugged, Like it was no big deal.
"You're sixteen!?" Multiple people exclaimed, including agents. Some were shocked, others awed.
'He's under twenty and understands advanced fusion science!?' Bruce thought in disbelief.
"Nicholas, how can you let a kid in on this, this Entire situation is too dangerous, even if he has abilities-." The casually dressed man stated.
"Hey, blondie. I've been in the hero business for about two years, I've saved my city multiple times and stopped the world from ending twice. So maybe don't judge a book by its cover, Sir" Barry glared, folding his arms.
The blonde man looked back at him and Blinked, taking a moment to digest his words before smirking. "You've got quite the cheek kid, name's Steve Rogers."
"I know, nice to meet you Captain." Barry replied with his own smirk and nod in greeting. He knew his history and had recognised the old war hero, but just because the man was a legend didn't mean he deserved his respect.
Respect was earned.
"This is Barry Allen, aka the vigilante known as the Flash. He's seen as a hero in the west coast, sticks mostly to central city but is known to patrol a few other places every now and then. He's taken down evil mutants, drug Lords and even common criminals and has gained quite the reputation." Fury stated.
"Glad to have you, you remind me of myself when I was younger." Steve smiled.
"Really?" Barry blinked, not having expected that from the great Captain America.
"Yeah, all I wanted to do was serve my country help out in any way I could, I didn't have any powers. But I would have done anything just to help." Steve revealed.
"Yeah, I get that. I wanted to become a secret agent when I was Younger. You see my dad and mom were killed by an evil speedster I would eventually defeat by the name of Eobard Thawne, and I knew impossible things existed due to well, history. You in world war two, mutants in the early nineties. So I was going to try and Join the FBI. But during a School trip to Star Labs, it's particle accelerator blew and the next thing I know.. I'm waking up and they tell me I'd been in a coma for seven months. Few minutes later, I accidentally find out I've got powers. The rest is history" Barry explained with a shrug.
'"o you didn't think to become a crook or villain? I mean with what I can understand from reading your files, You are quite the adversary." Steve said.
"No, it never even came into my head to be honest. My parents taught me the difference between right and wrong ever since I could walk, and my mom told me something a few days before she died." Barry revealed.
"What did she say?" Steve asked.
Fury watched on in silence, having honestly wondered this young man's origins himself.
"She said that she saw something in me, this spark of pureness. She said I'd one day change the world, Just do what's my heart says is right, Just...be me." Barry replied with a sad smile.
Steve was about to say something, only for a loud ping to go off and for a Shield Agent to get out of his seat. "Director Fury, We've got a match, twenty seven percent."
"Where?" Fury replied, looking over from where he was stood on the bridge.
"Germany, its gone up to seventy four percent now. Its gotta be him." The agent replied.
"Rogers, Allen, you're up."

Loki was sat on a bench near where Doctor Sturgis was building the portal device, trying To ignore the painful feeling that was inside of his mind. He heard claws scraping on a wall, and the faint whispers of enraged voices, reminding him that he was not fully in control of himself.
He let's out a gasp as a recent memory flashes before his eyes.
"You remember the deal, yes?" Ebony Maw Sneered into his ear, sending a shiver down the Asgardian's spine.
The grey skinned alien held up large pins of crystal with his mind, brushing them against Loki's body with dark intent. "I bring him the tesseract, he will give me earth, Asgard and his army. But I do not-." Loki Replied.
"You doubt this alliance, You doubt him!?" Ebony growled, Interrupting him.
"No, I just don't understand his desire. He rules the majority of the cosmos already, but still he searches for the boxes?" Loki replied, Fear and confusion in his voice.
"He rules all, but to solidify that rule he must have control over all creation, now, in the past and even into the future, The infinity Stones and the mother boxes will allow him to Do that." Ebony revealed.
"He's mad." Loki said, shaking his head as he resigns to his fate.
"No, he's convicted."
Loki blinked his eyes as the vision faded away, bringing him back into the present. He had a Job to do, and a bargain to settle.
"You okay there sir?" Clint asked, having seen his master turn pale.
"It is of no concern to you agent Barton. Now, what do you need?" Loki replied.
"A distraction, and an eyeball." Clint replied with a dark smirk as he extended his customised bow.
