"O Brave heroes please save our world"
As Clark opened his eyes he saw that instead of being in a metropolis he was now in some sort of dungeon with a white glow below him and six cloaked figures in front
"What is this place? Shouldn't I be dead...' the man of steel thought for a moment before looking at his arm and seeing a silver shield of sorts with a green gem on it
"What is all of th-"
"You can forget it"a blond boy with a ponytail and red eyes, on one hand he held a long spear with a red jewel that seemed to glimmer under the dull rays of the sun that barely illuminated the room they were in.
The one with the bow, the other young blonde haired kid, spoke "I also refuse myself."
"You brought us here without our consent, don't you feel the least guilty about that?" The one with the sword and black hair said.
"Not to mention, if you throw us out as soon as we restore peace we would've done all that work for nothing," the bow wielder added.
"How willing are you going to accommodate our requests?" The spear guy asked.
Clark looked at them for a moment, all three looked like normal teenagers to him, analysing the little details in one of the kids clothes he could tell that the writing was asian, probably japanese
"Who are you three?" Clark asked confused as to how the three had gotten into this, as he said that the three looked at him even more confused at his choice of clothes
"Are you wearing your underwear above your pants? That's really weird..." The spear wielder said, to him it was bizzare for someone to put under wear above their pants like a kid doing it to play pretend as super hero was fine but a grow ass man doing it was freak behavior
"What's with the costume?" The sword wielder asked while raising a eyebrow
"You look familiar" the boy with the bow says, Clark thought that he must be have heard of him as he had save the world numerous times as superman when in reality the boy was thinking of a completely different super individual from his world
"Uh *cough* Our king of this great country will be more than happy to explain the details further" the man in robes said, as he then gestured them to follow to the throne room of the castle.
"I guess" the sword murmured seemly satisfied with the answer
"Well we can at least see what they offer" the bow hero said
"That's fine by me" the spear hero responded while flipping his spear and putting her on his shoulders
"If the king can explain this situation better then i will be more than happy to help" Clark said as he really need someone to explain why he was summoned
As they got up the stairs of the tower clark thought about this whole deal trying to rationalize the situation
' I died during my fight with doomsday and these men have done some sort of ritual to bring heroes to save their world from catastrophe, it is not my first time dealing with magic like this and being summoned to a unknown location has happened to me before... I should get a look around the planet, maybe analysing the stars and solar system could give me a hint to where I am' the man of steel thought as many of his adventurers had at times had magic involved and the possibility of him being on another earth was possible too
When passing through a window he gets a good look on the city and plains from the window, all looked like medieval buildings and knights patrolling the street, he could feel the sunlight going through the window power him up a bit with a golden bar in his vision slowly filling up 'what is this?' Clark thought while extending his finger to go and click it
"Let's keep moving" said the sword hero
"Ah sorry I got distracted by the view" he said looking down before resuming the walk, the golden bar had disappeared
As the four heroes made and their guide approached a set of large doors leading to the largest section of the castle, they all knew what was ahead. The robed man turned to them "beyond this door is our king, please try to show some respect to him great heroes"
As the doors opened and they began to enter, the four looked around the room with Clark focusing on the balcony above them it was filled with people in extravagant clothes and jewels whispering about something, with his super hearing Clark quickly found out it was about him
"Is that the shield hero? What ridiculous suit is that?"
"He seems much older than the other three"
"Don't tell me he is wearing his underwear above his pants, how stupid is he?"
"I expected someone more elegant"
"Why is he wearing a cape?"
Clark couldn't judge all of this comments about him as for nobles like them his appearance would seem bizzare and out of this place
"So... These are the four cardinal heroes?" A voice in the other said of the room says and Clark looks to see the king in his throne
"Very well,I am King Aultcray Melromarc XXXII."
The king was donned in robes of navy blue with detailing and trim of gold. Over that was an elegant cloak of a rich purple,his grey hair reached down to his shoulders with a trimmed grey beard,each of his fingers except for the pointer fingers was a gold ring with only the right index finger sporting a gem, purple in color. Upon his head was a gold crown with a lone purple gem on the center of it. The heroes looked on
"Now stated your names"said the king
The sword wielding boy spoke up first, "I'm Ren Amaki, I'm a highschool student and 16 years old."
The blonde with the spear went next, "I'm Motoyasu Kitamura, college student 21."
"I suppose I'm up next, Itsuki Kawasumi, I'm still in highschool and I'm 17."the one with a bow speaked
From their names it was clear to Clark that the three teen were from Japan, he went to introduce himself "I am-"
"Very well motoyasu,Ren and itsuki" the king interrupted Clark
"You're skipped over me, your majesty" the man of steel said, the king gave a look of anger into his direction but Clark ignored it for the time
"Sorry sir shield hero, please introduce yourself" Aultcray said in his serious tone and with his emotionless face
"My name is Kal-El from the house of El, in my spare time I am reporter for the daily planet" he declared which caused confused looks from everyone in the room, the king raised a eyebrow at this but didn't pay too much mind into it
'Why was he dressed like that then? Was he covering a comic book event or something?' Motoyasu started thinking as it was the most likely thing, if he was cosplaying for a event then it was totally reasonable to wear such a weird outfit
'what type of name is that?' Ren thought as he never heard of someone being named like that, it honestly felt more like a sci-fi naming convention than anything
'I'm still confused' Itsuki felt that he hadn't explained enough
"Allow me to explain why we have summoned you four, as I am aware that you were informed, My country of Melromarc is in grave danger of a threat known as the waves." the king began explaining what the waves were. They could happen anywhere at any time, lasting for multiple hours or until the boss is killed. During that time monsters would continue to pour out of the wave and even after it stopped, any monster already here would remain until slain "The waves are said to become stronger over time. They last longer, and the wave bosses and all under them will be stronger. There are even written accounts of waves with more than one wave boss...It is best to summon you now when the waves are weak to give you time to strengthen yourselves to stay ahead of the waves growing threat".
"Strengthen ourselves? Are we not legendary heroes? are these not legendary weapons?" Ren spoke
"Ah, yes" The king responded "You are legendary heroes and those weapons are the 4 greatest weapons in this world..., but not right now" They all looked at him confused, Clark was sure that he still had his powers and with them he could probably be able to handle the waves by himself but he also knew that he couldn't get over confident as something as dangerous as Doomsday could be in those waves as well
"Each weapon has its own strengthening method. It gains strength alongside you heroes, as for you yourselves, could you activate your status magic?" The king asked bring more confusing to the group
"What? Status magic?" Motoyasu asked, Clark was curious about that himself wanting to ask the king about it
"Could you explain ho-"
"You guys are serious? It should be the first you would notice" Ren said annoyed "There's an icon in the corner of your vision, focus on it and a menu should appear"
Clark looked noticing the little icon and focusing on it opening his status window

This all felt like he was looking in a monitor in the Watchtower, this status magic was very different from the magic he was used to seeing, much more technological in appearance but now he knew what that golden bar was from before it being how the status magic reacted to his power's 'it must be because of this shield that i can access such thing' Clark thought
"This is worse than I thought..." Ren was thinking out loud.
"I know right? Level 1? That gonna be a lot of grinding...and there's already a wave coming up..." Motoyasu said
"This will be a lot of work and we've confirmed no rewards still..." Itsuki commented, Clark thought it was selfish to ask for rewards when the end of the world was at their hands but he couldn't blame a kid for wanting to get such thing
"Of course, you will be rewarded handsomely, and not just at the end, but after every wave, we will reward you heroes. Every step of the way." A man in purple by the side of the throne said, probably the king's advisor
"Well There's four of us, so we just need to form a party.-"
"Excuse me, but that won't do at all." the advisor said cutting off motoyasu before explaining "Due to the unique qualities of the holy weapons, none of you can gain experience while near one another."
[Notice]
[The four holy weapons dampen one another's power while within close quarters. Distance is advised whenever possible]
"You must form parties separately. Gather strength then fight the waves together" The king responded
"Would that not mean that we won't receive any experience during waves?" Ren asked
"Unfortunately, yes... the waves will have numerous enemies that you can't receive experience for slaying, but you can harvest your prey to still gain power" the king once again answer
"could you elaborate." Clark asked
"You should see this within your status magic, but it is said that the holy weapons can feed upon the fallen to gain new powers and forms"

[The cardinal shield can absorb objects to unlock new forms, new forms provide stat increases, as well as abilities. Fully mastering a shield provides its bonuses permanently and allows most skills to be used with another shield form in use]
"Heroes you can ask us questions all day; however, your status magic should be a great aid. Please refer to it tonight." The king motioned to several servants. "For now, please rest and adjust to these trying circumstances. Tomorrow I will introduce you to adventures who have agreed to aid you in your difficult quest. Between your status magic and seasoned adventures by your side, most questions you have will be answered soon enough".
The servants motioned to the heroes to follow. They were first taken to a dining hall, where they eat some of the local cuisine and afterwards they were escorted to a private room where they would pass the night, after they entered and the maid accompanying them had gone out the four heroes relaxed a bit
"Our maids was kind of cute" Motoyasu said while laying on the bed
"And the food had quite the taste to it" Itsuki says while sitting in a chair, he had never eaten such fancy food like that in his entire life
"I agree, It was good" Clark added
"I'm embarrassed of what I'm going to ask but what's with the suit?" Ren said as curiosity got the better of him
"Yeah that's been bugging me too" Itsuki didn't know why he was wearing such a thing but he also felt like he saw it somewhere before
"Are you cosplaying?" Motoyasu asked as he needed to know if he was doing cosplay or if he was just being weird
"This is the superman uniform, you don't now who Superman is?" Clark asked surprised, superman was one of if not the most well known superhero in the entire planet and even in the galaxy too
"Should I?" Motoyasu confusedly asked, was it supposed to be like a big famous mascot character that he didn't know but he racionalize that it was some nerd stuff
"Never heard of it" Ren said as well, although he was more of a manga fan than a comics one
"That costume does remind me of astounding man, he is a old comic book character but I only know him because of the movie they were making of him" Itsuki said, the colors were different and it had a S symbol on it but other than that it was identical to one old time superhero character very popular in the America, granted he wasn't a big fan of the character but he remembers the movie being decent even if it was very melodramatic and hopeless
'this is very odd i wonder how could they-' the man of steel stops for a moment as he hear's another heart beat in the wall and he uses his x-ray vision to see the maid with cat ears that lead them to the room 'is she spying on us?' he thought as he stepped closer to the door
"I am gonna get some water" he says while opening the door, the cat maid runs out scared of being caught
"don't need there is a jug with water here" Ren said as he points to it
"right" superman said as he closed the door, with his x-ray vision showing that the maid was now long gone
"ok so you are wearing a 'superman uniform' is that a movie character or something?" motoyasu asked, as he found it was weird to wear such a stupid looking attire, was that something he was forced to do because of bet or anything else, because no way someone would willing wear that
"No he is a real person, there is even a special day celebrating him" Clark replied, he found nice that all the people he saved had made a city wide event to celebrate him, but he wasn't really a fan of such a thing as he felt it was unecesary
"Never heard of a holiday for some cape wearing guy with a giant S in the chest" Ren commented, since that sounded too odd for a guy like that to have a holiday
"If you don't know superman than could it be that we are from different Earth's?" Clark asked while putting a hand on his chin, he knew he was in another universe or planet and he knew that alternative earth existed because of Earth 2 but he was now wondering if the three boys came from a world where superman not only doesn't exist but also all the other super beings from his earth
"What that's crazy! It makes more sense that we are in Emerald online than that" motoyasu exclaimed as not knowing some comic book character didn't meant that they were from different worlds, being Isekai into a videogame made more sense as it was literally happening right now
"Yeah... Wait Emerald online?" Itsuki spoke confused at the name motoyasu had said
"Don't tell you haven't heard of Emerald online, it is the most popular PC game of all!" motoyasu proclaimed, how could they not know that was a mystery to him, as everyone in the world had at least heard of the game
"Is that anything like Dimension Wave?" Itsuki asked, as this world only resembled that game, so either motoyasu had played some sort of weird localized version were the name was different or he had played a similar but different game which also didn't make sense
"I thought this was Brave Star online" Ren said which only agraveted more confusion between the teens
"That doesn't make sens-"
"Unless if we are from different Earth's" Clark once again says
"..." the three teens were in silent for a moment at the thought of that
"It does explain this inconsistencies" Itsuki said as he wasn't a expert in the concept of multiverse but he knew enough from pop culture
"Let's figure this out, who is the prime minister of Japan?" Ren asked and all with the exception of Clark answered
"I'm not familiar with that, as a American i can't say that i will give a proper answer" the man of steel said as he couldn't remember the name of the prime minister he saved from a giant monster attack and he knew that answers related to Japan would be a bit hard for him to give
"Oh then let's try something more general, who won world war 2?" Itsuki said, they answered more questions with everyone giving different answers, after about a hour they had concluded that all of them were from different Earth's
"So we are all from different versions of Earth" motoyasu said in disbelief, although it made complete sense as he was also in a different world
"The only thing in common is that we all died to get here" Ren added as it made sense that all of them got here the same way, it would have been weird if one of them got transported here because of a book or something
"you got shot, I got ran over, motoyasu was stabbed twice and Kal-El died during a villain's attack to his city" Itsuki recaps still surprised to hear about the world where the shield hero came from
"Yeah,the earth Kal-El comes from there are super heroes and villains" motoyasu was completely caught off by that, when Kal-El told of a albino gorilla that tried to swap minds with the president he thought the guy was messing with him, but after the other questions he heard it made sense that sort of thing to happen even if it sounded absurd
"Well in my world people also have super powers but yours sounds more like a comic book" Itsuki says as he know had a new found respect to the law of his own world, hearing about the almost daily attacks of villains and monsters showed that law enforcement was very bad in that world, although he also admired the fact that super heroes were common there which meant a lot of people fought for justice, he really wanted to learn more about the Justice League as Itsuki thought he would fit right in
"Do you have any power yourself?" Ren asked curious, from everything he said about his scoops as a reporter Ren thought he was very close to danger and the only way he could even get out of some of those was with a super power like super speed or invisibility, he wanted to know how powerful it was as it felt like of he did had something like that then he would be starting with a unfair advantage
"I do, I can absorb sunlight and use that energy to sustain myself or power myself up a bit" Clark said as he would demonstrate his super strength by lifting something heavy but he thought it may not be the right time
"So you do photosynthesis like a plant?" motoyasu said as it was basically the same thing as far as he knew
"Hehe...You could say that" Clark laughed a bit as he remembers kid flash having the same reaction
"Doesn't sound like the best power to have" Ren said coldly but satisfied, something like that was as good as his extended game knowledge like he had, as this was world was similar to the game he knew where to get the best grinding spots and the stronger monster's
"I also have one that isn't much on its own but with a bow I can really use it to it's full potential" Itsuki said with confidence as his power Accuracy made it so that it was almost impossible for him to miss a shot along with increase eye sight, it was the perfect match for a archer
"It's good to believe in yourself, there was a hero in my world that used only a bow and various special arrows to fight crime" Clark says as he recalls Oliver's many fights against crime as the Green Arrow 'would he have been called by the legendary bow if he had died'
"Well is getting late I am going to go sleep" motoyasu says while extending his arms out and getting up of the bed
"Good idea, see you guys tomorrow" Itsuki agreed also getting out of the chair
"Goodnight everyone" Clark says before he close the door, walking to the balcony and taking in the view before leaping high in the sky, flying through the atmosphere and as he took in the sun while floating in space
He turns around and analysis the planet, while the atmosphere and flora looked very similar to his earth, the geography of the planet was completely different having continents with different formations and shapes
"Now i know that this is definitely a different earth" he says before turning his attention to the stars, using his telescopic vision Clark is unable to recognize a single star system much less the one he was in, serving as the nail in the coffin that he was in a completely different universe
"Help *cough* me" the voice of what seemed to be a child was picked up by his super hearing
Hearing this the man of steel turns back to the earth and flies off into it
Somewhere in Sylvelt
"We need to evacuate everyone!" a ruff voice shouts in a collapsing building, that being of a guard amongst the flames
"Damn that bastard! He set a whole building on fire just to escape" a bear in armor says as he carries three people in his back
"We worry about the criminal later we need to get all those people out" his partner with wolf ears and tail says while carrying a elderly woman on his arms
"We are not gonna make it in time to save anyone in the upper floor" the Bear says
In the second floor of the burning building a small sheep girl walks desperate amongst the place "I need *cough* help *cough*" she says while trying to reach to a door barely able to breathe as the smoke covered the entire room and her lungs
"I don't *cough* want to..." The sheep girl falls into the crumbling ground covered in ashes, she is barely conscious when she sees the pillar above her crumble and start to fall, all she could do is close her eyes accepting her death
"It's gonna be alright" a comforting voice says and as she opens her eyes the girl sees a man in blue with a red cape holding the pilar above his head like it was nothing, he takes a deep breathe and uses his ice breath to put out the fire, the last thing she sees before blacking out is the small silver shield he carried filling the girl with enough hope for her to smile
"Everyone here?" the wolf guard asked as they were counting the number of people, the duo was able to save around 7 people but they couldn't be sure if that was everyone inside the place
"My daughter is still there!" a sheep woman says desperate as she tries to go back inside but is stopped by two other demi humans
"Shit do you think we can make it?" the bear said, maybe if they rushed in they could find the girl still alive, she would be burned badly but still would be able to live another day
"We better try our-"
"The fire is disappearing" a frog man with burned clothes shouts as he points at the flames diminishing
"No... The building it's...freezing?" another demi human says as the flames disappear entirely and ice starts to form in the windows
"Did anyone in there knew ice magic?" the wolf guard asked, it was the only way for this to happen but so far they only knew that a girl was stuck in the second floor
"There was no one that could-" the rabbit man stopped as he looked up in disbelief with others following soon, they saw a man descending in the sky carrying a small girl
"Emily!" The Mother screams as she goes closer to the man in red and blue
"She passed out from the smoke but she should wake up in a couple of hours" the mysterious savior says while handing the girl to her mother
"Thank you! Thank you so much!" The woman said while hugging her child, the man just watched with a smile
"Who the hell is that guy?! Is he human!?" the bear asked in anger and confusion, not only had a human got into sylvelt but had also saved a demi human from dying, that was very uncommon to see or hear about
"I have no idea but we better..." The wolf demi human stops completely as he noticed the shield in the arm of the man in blue
"What are you looking..." The guard bear is also left speechless at the sight with many more joining him as the people of the burned building and the people from nearby watching the event all looked shocked beyond belief as they saw the Shield hero of legend
"I can't thank enough mister..." she looks at him and is at first surprised to see that he is human but then she is even more shocked to see the shield in his arm
"Y-you're God?" The Mother said almost trembling at the revelation 'our god has come to our world...just to save the life of my daughter' she thinks while tears flow through her eyes
"No" he says before turning around and start to hover above the ground "I'm Superman" the man of steel said before flying in the air in incredible speed disappearing in the night leaving all of the citizens to look into the sky

hope you guys like it, i have been writing this along with the next chapter of the motherly hero and the cardinal turtles
i will try my best to update this one but i also feel like i should be focusing on the others alot more (especially the motherly hero)
i like the idea of superman going around the planet helping people, it will definitely change politics in the world of shield hero because of his impact as once rumors around the other countries of the shield hero saving people spread there will most definitely have a big debate (sorry mirellia)
so i tried to adapt superman's powers the best way i could, so he basically has a extra bar that is his solar charge and every time he uses one of his powers the bair is drained by the amount of solar energy it requires, a example is that super hearing costs 1 while heat vision is a 10 also depending on the scope of the ability it can also use more bar (using super hearing on a room costs less than to hear the voices of a entire planet)
