ENDDRAGON369: I'm iffy on touching any of the Sonicverse Knight's, as we barley know anything about them, and fairly certain the multi-player is non canon.
Calderoneric758: I've said it multiple times, at best I'm using Archie to help fill in areas of Sonic's world. I have no intention of bringing in Archie, Fleetway, Boom or anything else. This world is mix of Game and IDW, with details from other Sonic works being used to help fill in the world.
Dis0rd3r: Sonic being able to speak dozens of languages only makes sense, and he's going to help these people.

"T-thank you kind sir!". A villager thanked Sonic as he handed over a recently cooked piece of deer, the hedgehog giving the man a smile as he quickly travelled to a woman and child.
"Hey! Calm down, we've got plenty of fresh water!". Gareth playfully scolded two children who had tried sneaking away with a bucket of water. "We have plenty and can get more, theres no need to steal".
Mashu watched it all in awe, after only half an hour the village had gained a new life. Cu and Artoria had proven themselves skilled hunters and came back with enough meat to feed the entire town, with Sasaki even bringing in some harder to catch beasts thanks to his presence concealment. Gareth and Lily had guarded the town while herself and Senpai had travelled to a waterfall (How he had managed to find one so quickly, she'd never know), and gathered enough fresh water for the entire town.
She was a bit surprised to see Sonic joining Tamamo in the cooking, but apparently the hedgehog was a skilled cook and had often had to cook for himself on his adventures.
It was amazing, watching a town regain its hope. It wasn't absolute, some still had a depressed aura but they were still thankful for the help they were being given.
She understood now, it may have been logical to leave the town behind and search for the Holy Grail, but it wouldn't have been the good choice, the right choice. She felt a hum of approval from the Heroic Spirit within her, and she smiled.

Flap, flap, FLAP!
She tensed, wing flaps? She turned to stare in horror at an approaching black swarm in the sky. T-that couldn't all be…?
"Did the witch send all her forces at once!? T-there's to many! BRING THE CHILDREN AND WOMAN TO THE UNDERGROUND BUNKERS! HURRY, HURRY!". The panicked screaming of a soldier could be heard, but Mashu's eyes were stuck on the approaching horde of wyverns, all of them shades of black or red. T-there was no way they could beat that many!
"I thought Jeanne Alter was targetting all of France? Why the hell is she sending so many of her wyverns here?". Cu asked, his body tense and a hint of worry seeping into his voice. "We can't beat all of them, theres simply to many… And even then, thats not the worst part".
Mashu felt it before she saw it, a magical presence so large, so fierce, that it almost sent her to her knees, a primal instinct screaming to run and flee. And when she saw it, she understood how such a massive horde of wyverns was sent to deal with a single barley held together town.
"...A dragon… Fafnir". Mashu spoke fearfully, she knew of the Evil Dragon Phenomenon, that turned someone extremely greedy into a Fafnir, yet to have one here. It explained the many wyverns, yet why was it here to destroy an ordinary town? Had someone learned of their appearance and decided to destroy them before they could become an issue?
"Wooooah, thats a big one!". A familiar cocky voice echoed as Sonic stared down the approaching horde fearlessly. He began doing some casual stretches to everyones shock, and he turned around with a grin. "Oh come on guys, its not that bad! We can deal with this, five minutes top!".
"I quite agree with you, Master". Sasaki walked over to the hedgehog's side, a calm side on his face. "Looking at them now… These dragons seem to simply be bigger swallows".
Mashu watched in awe, as two legendary heroes walked side by side with absolute confidence against their foe. Cu let out a laugh.
"Bastards! Your not leaving me out of the fun!". The spearman chased after the two with a wild grin.
"Fools, they… Mashu, Gareth, Lily. You deal with the wyverns that those three ignore, Tamamo you defend the town". Artoria Alter spoke even as black mana began radiating off her. "I will deal with the large majority of the wyverns".
In a blur of speed the corrupted King chased after her comrades, while Mashu's limbs shook. T-they where being the last defence against the wyverns, and about about Senpai!? She should be fighting alongside Senpai! She attempted to rush forward herself, but a hand on her shoulder stopped her.
"I get you want to fight alongside them, but this is basic battle tactics. Send your strongest units to crush the enemies strongest unit, its up to us to defend these people!". Gareth explained and Mashu's fists clenched onto her shield, she wanted to deny it but she knew her senior knight was correct.
"Alright…". She raised her shield as the wyverns got closer, even as she inwardly prayed for Sonic to stay strong.
Sonic grinned as he spin dashed through a wyvern, its magically created body falling apart. Behind him, Artoria unleashed a wave of magical energy from Excalibur, crushing the bodies of multiple wyverns.
Cu fought fiercely, wyverns fell before him in droves as he left a trail of blood behind him. A wild smile on his face as he fought for his life against the seemingly endless wyvern horde. But if Cu's show was impressive, then the final Servant was mastery.
Sasaki's every strike seemed to behead a wyvern, his every movement calculated and masterful, for every wyvern the others seemed to kill, he had triple the number. Yet not a single stain or clothe was out of place, he walked calmly despite the carnage he unleashed.
"How in the world are you an Assassin!?". Artoria growled as she unleashed another wave of magical energy onto a group of wyverns, before creating a black ribbon and having it pull a wyvern close to her, only for its head to be crushed under her gauntlet.
"A witch". Sasaki simply replied, already cutting down more wyverns. But all of them understood, no matter how many they cut down, as long as Fafnir was in the sky, more would be created.
"So any of you got a long ranged attack that doesn't consume Chaos Energy like crazy? I don't have an Emerald to power me right now!". Sonic asked, activating his mystic code and causing a blue sword of Chaos Energy to appear in his hands, using it to cut off the leg of an approaching wyvern, and then homing attacking it to finish the beast.
"Fafnir's out of Gae Bulg's range, and even if it wasn't, not so sure a stab to the heart will be as effective against that thing!". Cu pierced his spear through a wyverns skull, before rolling under a wave of wyvern from another, quickly dealing with that one as well.
"Excalibur could reach it, but by the time it does Fafnir will have no doubt moved out of the way!". Artoria was starting to get frustrated, no matter how many enemies she cut down, more wyverns would appear! She glanced to her counterpart, he had energy to spare at least, she shuddered at the idea of facing this horde with only the mana of an ordinary master to rely upon.
"I'm afraid I'm more of a close range specialist". Sasaki smiled even as he destroyed another wyvern, his abilities required the least energy of all Servants, he could keep fighting for a long time on just his own mana and with Sonic's Chaos Energy on top? He would cut down every single wyvern before him.
"Theres got to be something… Hey, that could work! Artoria, launch me!". Sonic's request was met was with confusion, before understanding dawned in her eyes.
"A brilliant strategy master!". She began gathering mana into Excalibur, forcing it to stay calmly under her control and watched Sonic curled into a ball and shot into the air, as he fell towards her she swung the blunt side of Excalibur upward. In a blur of black mana Sonic was launched into the air towards Fafnir.
The dragon was unable to react in time as the scales under its throat where hit by a homing attacked from the speed demon, and roared in agony as the blue blur ran across its body, delivering multiple attacks to its wings.
"Shit! Scatter!". Cu and the others quickly fled the area as the legendary dragon began falling, creating a massive dust cloud when it slammed into the earth. The Servants watched as a blue blur leapt into the air to avoid a massive stream of fire.
"Wooo! You are a spicy one aren't ya? But you can't even hit one little hedgehog, what kind of dragon of legend are you?". Sonic taunted, and whether it understood the taunt or not, Fafnir roared and attempted to crush the hedgehog under its claws.
Fafnir was a dragon of legend, who's fire could burn entire towns to ashes, its scales were tougher then any blade and its raw power was unrivalled… But all of that was useless before an entity who's speed casually broke the sound barrier. No matter what attack it used, Sonic avoided it all and continued taunting the dragon.
"I've tasted chili dogs spicier then you!".
"What kind of dragon can't even break the sound barrier? Lame!".
"Albion was better anyway!".
"I thought you were the evil dragon of greed, not the evil dragon of sloth!".
"RAAAAARRGHHHH!". Fafnir roared in fury, unleashing a massive wave of fire towards Sonic. But in its mistake, it had ignored the hedgehog's allies.
"EXCALIBUR MORGAN!".
"GAE BULG!".
"TSUBAME GAESHI!".
A massive pillar of blackened mana slammed into Fafnir's back, while a bloody hole appeared in its chest, along with three massive bleeding wounds. The evil dragon roared, even with its heart damaged it still clung to life somehow.
Its wings torn, its chest a bleeding mess and its heart now inflicted with Gae Bulg's curse, the dragon knew its time was coming, but the dragon of legend wouldn't die without taking at least one of them with it!
It let out a final mighty roar and charged towards Sonic, flames escaping its maw as it brought down its claws for a final attack to end this misera-
"Man, you really don't know when to go down do you?". The blue hero smirked as his body was covered in his boost aura, and charged towards Fafnir's mouth, leaping into the air, his aura protecting him against the flames and performing a homing attack towards his goal, the back of Fafnir's throat.
In a spray of blood and magical energy, Sonic pierced through Fafnir from the inside, emerging into the sky on the other end and landing on the ground. With a smirk, he gave a thumps up to his team as Fafnir faded away behind him.
"Dragon sla-". Sonic was cut off as a wyvern tried attacking him, but using his sword he quickly cut it down. "Aren't these things meant to disappear after we beat they're boss!?".
"Most of them are! But some were clearly made from a different source of magical energy!". Artoria growled, a ribbon emerging from her free hand to drag a group of wyvern together, and then using Excalibur with her other hand to destroy them.
"More reasonable number now!". Cu smirked, now this was a true battle! Fighting alongside trusted allies against wild beasts and even a dragon! Oh his fellow warriors would've loved to hear such a tale!
"No matter how many remain, they are simply just bigger swallows. Without Fafnir, they are no threat to us". Sasaki calmly cut another swallow down, how boring. It seems without Fafnir to guide them, they were just feral beasts.
The four continued fighting, and after a few minutes they had slayed the last of the horde. It had been a rough battle and they needed to take a quick breather before they reunited with their allies.
"Wonder how the others dealt with the wyverns…". Sonic wondered aloud.
A few minutes ago.
Mashu slammed her shield into a wyvern, allowing Lily to pierce its chest with Caliburn, it attempted to fight back but a quick ofuda from Tamamo froze its skull.
Gareth's own shield blocked another wyvern, before she stabbed her spear into its heart and pushed it away. Lily quickly rushed to air her future knight, delivering a fatal blow to another wyvern.
The French Soldiers had fled from the battle, and none of the Servants could blame them. An ordinary human couldn't hope to survive a wyvern attack, leaving it up to the three Servants and Demi-Servant. But even so, Mashu was forced to admit they were being pushed back by the wyverns.
"We can't keep this up!". The Shielder spoke, Gareth and Lily were their strongest physical fighters, and neither could keep this up for much longer. Tamamo's spells helped, but the kitsune simply lacked the mana to keep blasting off high power spells.
"I'd appreciate any ideas to turn this around!". The kitsune cursed as she barley avoid a wyvern's jaws and delivered a kick to its throat, and then slapped an ofuda across it, causing a burst of flame to burn away its flesh and scales.
"We need to stand strong till Master and the others return! I'm going to use my Noble Phant-". Lily was cut off by Gareth.
"We're to close to the town to risk a Noble Phantasm!". The Lancer said, quickly slamming her lance into another wyvern.
They were in a difficult situation, they could easily deal with the wyverns if they used their Noble Phantasms, but they'd risk damaging the town. If they waited to long for their allies, they could be cut down by the wyverns.
But as they fought, unexpected help came as a strange weapon that seemed to be a fix of a flag and spear stabbed into a wyvern that tried biting Mashu, the Shielder turning to look at her unexpected saviour.
"Don't be distracted! They're vicious beasts and distraction could be fatal!". The beautiful blond who reminded Mashu of a grown up version of Lily (And not corrupted like Artoria) would look like, even as the Servant slammed her flag into another wyvern.
"A-ah yes!". Mashu defended against a wyvern and then slammed the side of her shield against it, while Tamamo hit it with an electrified ofuda to finish it.
"Well, its nice to see the actual Jeanne instead of hearing the talk of some fake walking about!". Tamamo spoke as Mashu's eyes widened, this woman was the real..!?
"Ah! Lady Tamamo, I didn't expect to see you here and… Fighting alongside multiple Servants? Just what is going on here?". Jeanne d'Arc asked, Mashu took note of how the blond also had a raggedy cloak around her shoulders. It didn't look to be apart of her normal outfit, so perhaps some sort of disguise to deal with the fact another Jeanne was apparently burning down France?
"Oh Holy Maiden, this isn't even close to how weird things have gotten". Tamamo threw out a row of ofuda against a wave of wyverns, frying each of them with a mix of lightning and fire.
"I have a bad feeling about what you just said". The holy maiden replied, even as the group kept fighting against the wyverns. The presence of another Servant helping to turn the tides.
"Oh? So a fafnir was defeated, I suppose that must make you happy, to know one of them was dealt with". A cruel smile spread across her face at the knight kneeling at her side, his body shook as he glared at her. But she was under no threat, not since Giles little gift.
"O' HOLY MAIDEN! It matters not if one or a hundred wyverns fall, our numbers can be replaced with ease!". The maddened voice of Giles de Rais spoke, his unnatural eyes rapidly looking around the room.
The woman, the so called Holy Maiden smirked as she stood up. The knight rose as well, his hands shaking as he tried desperatly to force his body to move under his control once again, but the Witch's spell was to powerful.
"Indeed Giles, it doesn't matter…". She walked through the throne room, once belonging to some noble she couldn't be be bothered to remember the name of. She looked out the window, a smug smile across her face as she stared across the burned and barren fields.
"Because what can our enemies hope to do, against an army of evil dragons?".
Roars answered the woman's words, as the dozens of Fafnir's roared and shook the earth around them. Surrounding the castle was at the very least, fifty different versions of the legendary evil dragon of greed.
"And if they happen to have any dragons of their own?". The face of Jeanne d'Arc smiled, as an aura of energy radiated off the flag in her hands.
"They'll simply become mine".
Uhm, uhm… WHAT!? Jalter has HOW MANY FAFNIR'S!? AND WAS THAT MY BOY SIEGFRIED ALSO UNDER HER CONTROL!?
