Once more, the Wild Fury Rangers were engaged in battle. This time, their foe was a kingly-looking alien with a card on his back, responding to the name of King Card. Marina transformed into her Primal Mode to ram into him. "Tidal Impact!"

The force of this blow sent King Card reeling, as the other Rangers ran towards him with their Primal Blasters. "Savage Blast!" Their shots managed to hit King Card head on, before Johnny and Marina ran in with their Primal Sabers to slash him together.

"Alright.", Johnny nodded. "Are you ready?"

"Let's do this.", Marina nodded, as everyone prepped their Primal Sabers for an attack. "Time to say goodbye."

"Funny.", a voice from nearby commented, as he prepared his weapon. "I was going to say that." He then sent a long fishing line that wrapped up all of the Rangers before they could attack. He then dragged their Primal Sabers out of their hands.

The Rangers then looked up to see the figure that had interrupted them. "Who's that guy?", Trunks asked.

"Curiouser.", King Card added as he also looked up at the silhouetted figure stood atop the hill.

"I'm sorry.", the figure stated as he threw the captured weapons to the ground. "I can't let you Rangers destroy a common ally."

"And why would that be?", Lenny asked. "What's it to you?"

The figure then walked into the light, revealing that he was the Chimera Ranger, wielding a fishing rod-like weapon. "Another Ranger?", Johnny asked. "Like us."

"It can't be.", Trunks pointed out. "Only the Primal Morphers can grant powers like ours."

"Not anymore." Ignoblia then stepped out from behind the Chimera Ranger. "I've figured out the secrets to your Primal Morphers, and used them, in conjunction with the DNA I extracted from the Creature of the Savannah Forest, to create my ultimate Ranger Hunter, the Chimera Ranger."

"You can copy our Morphers?", Trunks said with confusion.

"Not just that.", Tora realised.

"They probably enhanced it somehow.", Johnny realised. "With the DNA of that creature."

"King Card, the Chimera Ranger will handle this.", Ignoblia insisted. "Withdraw."

"One is most pleased. Thanking you very much.", King Card responded, as he turned and ran off.

"Now then, it's time for you to go into the light and defeat them.", Ignoblia addressed her creation.

"Right.", the Chimera Ranger replied as he pulled on the line of his fishing rod. "Reel Staff!" He then extended the line so that it hit all of the fleeing Rangers at once, knocking them back. "And that was just a taste." He then leapt into battle, extending the line once more.

"I can do that too.", Johnny insisted as he summoned his Chain Saber, the two weapons meeting in midair. After a fierce tug of war, the Chimera Ranger won out, pulling the weapon out of its wielder's hands. "What the-?"

"Don't like that?", the Chimera Ranger asked. "Well let's see how sharp this blade is against its own user." He then swung the weapon back at the 5 Rangers, eventually managing to knock Johnny back.

"We're not beat yet.", Johnny declared, as he summoned his wings. "Primal Mode, Unleash!" He then took flight. "Spinning Skystorm Strike!"

But the Chimera Ranger leapt out of the way before the attack could make contact. "Oh I think you'll be beaten soon." He then wrapped his line around Johnny's ankle, using the force to slam him into a cliff. Johnny was rendered unconscious from the assault.

"Oh no, he got Johnny.", Tora called out.

"But we got a read on his moves.", Marina pointed out. "That should help us beat him."

"Primal Mode, Unelash!" The two assumed their own Primal Modes to face down the Chimera Ranger.

"Thats not a problem.", the Chimera Ranger laughed, as he took out his Hunter Morpher, proceeding to press he button, reconfigure it so that the Wolf head was prominent, and then press the button again, causing Marina and Tora to be blinded by the light, as the top half of his helmet moved upwards, revealing a silver, wolf-like face, as the wolf emblem on his chest glowed. "Primal Change: Wolf!"

"No way!", Tora gasped.

"He can Primal Change between different animals?", Marina questioned.

"Of course.", Trunks realised. "Why didn't I see it? Chimera, as in a fusion of multiple creatures in one."

"Why don't you come and see what I'm capable of now, ladies?", the Chimera Ranger gestured to his two opponents. "Make my day."

"You're asking for it, and we'll oblige.", Marina stated as the two ran towards their foe.

In the ensuing battle, the Chimera Ranger was able to dodge out of the way of the two Rangers' attacks with incredible athleticism. They thus went for their ultimate attacks. "Freezing Slicer!"

"Tidal Impact!"

The Chimera Ranger merely reconfigured his fishing Rod weapon into a gun. "Reel Blaster!" He then zoomed out of the way of both attack using inhuman speed, before firing on Marina, managing to down her.

"Not Marina too.", Tora lamented. "This is so bad."

"Well at least we know what he's fully capable of now.", Trunks pointed out as he and Lenny prepared themselves to be next. "The main form is strength, while the Wolf form is speed. So we need to outsmart him."

"Good luck with that.", the Chimera Ranger said in response as he appeared right next to Tora, firing at her point blank to remove her from the fight. "That just leaves you two.", he said to Lenny and Trunks after managing to use his speed to evade their attack.

"You've saved the best for last.", Lenny taunted him. "You've no idea what you're messing with."

"Primal Mode, Unleash!"

As the two finished their transformations, the Chimera Ranger took out his Hunter Morpher, reconfiguring it to the Alligator head, and going through the same sequence of motions once more. "Primal Change: Alligator!" As the mouthplate raised itself upwards to reveal an alligator themed face, the emblem of an alligator on his chest glowing.

"He has three modes?", Trunks gasped.

"Yeah, one for each of the logos on his chest.", Lenny pointed out. "You didn't notice?"

The Chimera Ranger readjusted his weapon again, this time straightening the handle and causing a spearhead to emerged from the top. "Reel Spear!" After twirling his staff a few times, he then placed it on the ground. "Let's go."

"Do it now Trunks.", Lenny urged.

"Right.", Trunks nodded, before launching his Primal Mode attack. "Rock Quaker!"

But the Chimera Ranger emerged from the attack, completely untouched. "Was that supposed to hurt?" He then threw his Reel Spear at Trunks, knocking him down. He then moved in closer to grapple with both Rangers. He eventually trapped both of them on his weapon, which he slammed into the ground. "This is the end." He then picked the Reel Spear up, using it to slash the pair backwards.

The Rangers all regrouped after they'd partially recovered. "This guy's good.", Johnny noted. "He beat us without a Primal Mode."

"Oh, I have something better than that.", the Chimera Ranger commented, as he set his Morpher to the Rhino setting. "Primal Reversion: Rhino!"

The Rangers all recoiled instinctively before he could do anything. "This is gonna suck.", Tora realised.

"Super Primal Mode, Unleash!" The Chimera Ranger's arms suddenly took on the features of his three animal motifs, with a pair of rhinoceros horns emerging from his shoulders, his right hand turning into an alligator tail and his left hand becoming a Wolf's claw.

The Rangers were taken aback by this sight. "Super… Primal Mode?", Johnny questioned. "Does that make him even stronger than Primal Mode."

"It certainly does.", the Chimera Ranger answered him. "This has been fun, but it's time I took you all out." The tips of his claw glowed blue, which he then launched at the Rangers before doing an attack with the alligator whip. "Final Hunt!"

The Rangers got hit by both blows he sent their way, knocking them on their backs. "There has to be some way we can prevail in this fight.", Trunks practically pleaded.

"There really isn't.", the Chimera Ranger stated bluntly as he surrounded himself with a black aura. "Darkness Charge!" He rammed into the Rangers, causing them to be engulfed in an explosion.

The Rangers barely recovered from this attack, pulling themselves up. "Now I know how the Hunters we beat feel.", Lenny growled. "I don't like it."

"I've got it.", Johnny realised. "He might be able to match us on the ground, but there's no way he could have his own Megazord."

"Right.", Tora nodded. "The Zords were created through a process even most of Cubalia's inhabitants don't understand. There's no way Ignoblia could figure it out."

"Cubezords, enlarge!" The Zords all appeared and combined into one once more. "Jungle Beast Megazord, ready!"

However, as the 5 leapt inside their Zords, the Chimera Rangers merely laughed. "Being beaten up physically wasn't good enough for you, huh? Well if you think we should escalate, it's only fair that I oblige." He then pressed on the button of his Morpher twice, before selecting the three animals symbol and pressing down once more. "Cyber Cubezords, roll out!" A large, black trailer resembling a rhino, marked with the number '9' appeared, which the Chimera Ranger leapt inside, taking his seat as he inserted the Hunter Morpher into a slot by his side. "And this is just the start of what I'm capable of." He then had the truck spin around to reveal two cubes, a gold cube numbered '7', and a silver cube numbered '8'. "Time to play with my pets." The two cubes broke off, with the gold cube becoming an Alligator Zord, while the silver cube became a Wolf Zord.

Within their cockpit, the Rangers were shocked by this. "So the Alligator and Wolf Zords were in that creature.", Marina realised, thinking to herself. "But where did that rhino come from? And what did he mean by 'Cyber Cubezords'?"

"Hey, no fair.", Lenny complained. "The Cubezords are our trademark. This is copyright infringement."

"Your people may have invented the Cubezords.", Ignoblia stated. "But I have improved upon them. My dear Chimera, why don't you demonstrate."

"As you wish, Mistress." The Chimera Ranger removed his Morpher from the slot and pressed on the button three times. "Engage linkup procedure." He then selected all 4 faces on the Hunter Morpher, ending with the three animals symbol. The back half and horn then detached from the rhino, with the '9' on the front half folding downwards as that section stood itself up to become a pair of legs. The back half then landed on top, with a pair of joints folding outwards. The rhino horn attached to one joint, becoming a left arm, while the right arm was formed by the Alligator Zord attaching to the other joint, revealing a hand. Finally, the Wolf Zord landed in the gap in the centre of the body, with a flap opening to reveal a head, that resembled a twisted parody of the Beast Force Megazord. "Integrate, Hunter Megazord!"

"Oh no.", Tora could be heard muttering, as the Jungle Beast prepared to face down its new enemy.

"Gator Crunch!" The Hunter made the first attack, which used the alligator arm to bite down on the Jungle Beast's chest. "I thought you'd offer more of a defence.", the Chimera Ranger laughed as he spun his steering wheel, which caused the Hunter to turn around and deliver another punch, which it followed with a kick. It then attacked with the horn arm.

"He won't let us use our strongest attacks.", Trunks noted with annoyance.

"So we'll have to go for something weaker.", Johnny stated. "Savage Saber!" The Jungle Beast tried to bring the Beast Force Megazord's weapon down to attack the Hunter, only for the alligator arm to block it. "What?"

"You really need to rely on weapons to beat me?", the Chimera Ranger asked. "Pathetic." He then threw the Savage Saber to one side after wresting it from his opponent's hands.

"What do we do now?", Lenny asked.

"We try to go all out.", Johnny nodded. He then inserted his Morpher into the control weapon. "Jungle Beast Stampeding-!"

"Oh no. You won't get a chance to use that." Without saying anything, the Wolf and Alligator Zords broke free of the Hunter Megazord and turned into their cube forms, which disrupted the attack before it could launch.

"That was our best attack!", Marina called out. "What do we do now?"

"You'll perish.", the Chimera Ranger answered as he took out his Hunter Morpher, rotating the cube section around 360 degrees. "It's been fun, but this time, there'll be no reprieve for you. Go Apex Annihilation!" The Hunter Megazord then launched energy versions of its components at the Jungle Beast Megazord, damaging it to the point it split into its component cubes, and the Rangers were sent flying, with Marina being sent in a different direction to the others. "All too easy." As the sun set, the Hunter Megazord turned and left.

"An impressive field test.", Ignoblia noted. "But how reliable the Chimera Ranger will continue to be, I don't know." She then turned and teleported away.

Back at the zoo house, Sir Caesar, Stevie and Jeremy were in the midst of hanging up banners and baking respectively, when Jonnny, Tora, Trunks and Lenny burst in. Jeremy immediately stopped, as he went over to the others. "What happened out there?", he asked. "Where's Marina?"

"I-I don't know.", Johnny answered. "That guy sent her flying in the other direction."

"Guy?", Stevie asked. "What guy?"

Trunks fielded this one. "The Hunters created their own Ranger with three different kinds of Primal Power. He beat us like we were novices and his Cubezords made quick work of ours."

"Wait, he had his own Cubezords?", Sir Caesar questioned.

"Right.", Lenny nodded. "An alligator, a wolf and a rhino." He noticed that Jeremy seemed concerned. "I seem to have mentioned something that worries you."

"Am alligator and a wolf were among the Zords that were lost when I travelled to Earth. But this Rhino Zord is a new one. Bough I assume they could've created it from the other two, if they'd acquired them. But what I want to know was how they replicated our Power Ranger tech."

"They shouldn't have been able to.", Sir Caesar insisted. "They'd have to have known exactly how the technology worked in order for a workable copy to have been replicated so perfectly. And to do that, they would need to have had a Primal Morpher in their possession."

Tora suddenly had a dark realisation. "Oh dear. Guys, when the Hunters essentially kidnapped me twice, I had my Morpher on me. They could've used it to create this guy's powers. Though I'm not sure how it would've helped them find the two Cubezords they paired off with their own Rhino. Or why they made the last one a rhino in the first place."

"I am.", Jeremy spoke up. "Last night, Marina suggested to me that the creature in the woods was created in a transporter accident that combined the bodies of my friends and two of the Cubezords. If she was right, then we can assume that the Hunters took the creature so they could butcher it for the DNA needed to create the Ranger gear and then give it to some witting human.

Stevie was confused by this comment. "Wait, why does it have to be a human in the Chiemra Ranger costume?"

"That's simple.", Sir Caesar answered her. "Only a human body can handle multiple different forms of Primal Power. An Animan's body would deteriorate in hours."

"So we're up against someone who was willing to sell out Earth to help the Hunters get the Cubezords.", Johnny summarised. "Call me crazy, but I think this is one bad guy I don't think we should necessarily kill when we defeat him."

Most of the others were shocked by this. "Are you nuts?", Lenny asked.

"No, he's right.", Stevie pointed out. "Perhaps we can help him see the error of his ways and help him atone for his actions. And if we can't, then we should turn him over to the proper authorities."

"But until he or another Hunter comes back, we're just sitting ducks.", Trunks pointed out, as he collapsed onto the couch. "And until Marina gets back, we're operating at reduced power."

Up on the Arrowhead, Ignoblia returned to find Cuborg and Keldor were both laughing uproariously, as was King Card. "After all these weeks of trying, we finally scored a victory over the Rangers.", Keldor stated.

"And as it turns out, they were hoist by their own petard.", Cuborg noted. "In the end, all we needed was a Ranger in our own corner."

"Indeed.", King Card nodded. "Send for the Chimera Ranger. We wish to praise him."

Ignoblia paused at this. "Ah, that may be difficult, your highness. For you see, the Chimera Ranger has… fallen off my radar."

The jubilant atmosphere of the room suddenly dissipated with these words. "What do you mean?", Archris growled.

"Make no mistake, Lord Archris.", Ignoblia explained. "While the Chimera Ranger may be under our command, he is not under our control. He retains a will of his own and I, in turn, thought it pertinent to allow him to act on it when he wishes, to avoid the possibility of disloyalty."

"So in other words, we can't force him to finish off the Rangers for us.", Cuborg surmised.

"No matter.", Archris stated. "Let the fool roam if he wants to. After all, things are currently quiet enough for us not to require him to be at hand."

"Oh really?", King Card thought. "Lord Archris, we henceforth request you permission to venture down to the surface of Earth to engage in battle with the whelps once more."

Keldor looked at him with annoyance. "Urrgh, you're still here.", he growled. "Well Master, what should we do with him?"

"Send him down.", Archris sighed. "And prepare an entourage of ships to do so. It will indulge him."

"Thanks muchly.", King Card bowed, before departing the room.

Once he had left, Archris turned towards Ignoblia. "If this blowhard wants to stand a chance, then I suggest that you call back your pet."

"As you command.", Ignoblia nodded.

Back on Earth, Marina woke up in the forest to find water flowing into her mouth, which she spat out. "Pfft. Fresh water." She then took a look at her hands, realising that she had reverted to her Animan form. "Where is that-?" She realised it was still in her mouth, merely dislodged from position. She then used her tongue to replace it, reverting to human. "There, now I can head back without drawing attention."

And so, Marina set off through the forest, trying to search for something familiar to use as a guide back to the zoo. Unfortunately, she had managed to weasel her way out of going into the woods at all to help search. As much as she wanted to help Johnny, she never felt at peace among plants. For the same reason, she was currently sticking by the riverbank, which allowed her to eventually see a man staring intently into the water. "She did it.", he said happily. "She actually did it."

Marina walked up to the man, confused. "She did what?"

"I've lived for I don't know how long, unable to see my face.", the man answered her. "Until yesterday, when she said she fixed me. I haven't had a chance to see it until today, but she did it. I'm me again."

Marina was intrigued by his comment. "So this 'she'… fixed your vision?"

"Not quite.", the man told her as he walked over to her. "You see, I have a fairly crazy story about what happened to me. It all began…" Marina then recoiled as a high-pitched beeping sound filled the air. "Sorry about that, I think I'm being called away to my job." He then took out the source of the noise, which Marina recognised as the Hunter Morpher.

"It's been nice meeting you!", Marina yelled as she moved away. "Sorry about my sensitive ears." As soon as she was far enough away from the man to think, she realised something. Even before he had pulled out the Hunter Morpher, she felt something was familiar about that man.

As soon as Marina was gone, the man turned the cube on the Hunter Morpher to the wolf face, causing a howl to fill through the air. "Alright, I'm here. And I'm alone now. You can come down."

Within a few seconds, Ignoblia appeared a few feet away, walking up to him. "Alone now? You met someone?"

"Yeah, it was a girl.", the man explained. "She got a bit confused by my description of what you'd done to help me, and ran off before I could clarify."

"That's good.", Ignoblia informed him. "The less people who are aware of your human self, the better."

"But why?", the man asked. "I have people who love me out there. Parents, a brother, a girlfriend. Surely I should go back to them. Let them know I'm okay."

"You can do that once the Rangers are nothing more than a memory.", Ignoblia informed him. "Until then, it's time for you to morph."

"I understand.", the man said, a resigned look on his face. He then set his Morpher to the three animals face, after pressing down on the button. "Predator Spirits, Awaken!" He then pressed the button again, before pointing the Hunter Morpher. The images of a rhino, a wolf and an alligator formed, before running back towards him and forming his suit by jumping at his chest and arms. The Aligator form helmet then appeared on him, before the mouthplate closed, followed by the visor. "The Bestial Triumvirate, Chimera Ranger!"

Back at the zoo, the other Rangers watched as the news reported on a fleet of Hunter ships attacking the city. "Reports are coming in of a bold attack from the Space Hunters on Savannah City, with several ships outright levelling buildings. Such an attack of this scale hasn't occurred in prior weeks and leaves us with one question, dear viewers: Where are the Power Rangers?"

"It's a trap.", Jeremy pointed out. "They know you'll go there to stop them and then sic the Chimera Ranger on you again."

"I know.", Johnny told him. "But there's one thing they're probably not counting on."

"Us pulling some misdirection.", Trunks added. "They won't expect us to divide our forces and separate the two from each other."

"And neither of them will be prepared for Johnny's Gorilla form.", Tora added. "He never got to use it during the last battle, so they'll be unable to counter it."

"Good thinking.", Sir Caesar spoke up. "And when you fight the Chimera Ranger again, be sure to switch up during battle. Don't let him get any advantage."

"But in case he does.", Jeremy suggested. "I'll be there on standby with Sir Caesar to throw a wild card into the equation."

"I wish I could help.", Stevie said, slightly ruefully. "But I can't really handle myself in a fight and I don't have any real powers to make up for that."

"Don't worry.", Lenny assured her. "Your support is as valuable as any combatant. We'll be relying on you to cheer us on."

"Let's go.", Johnny said as everyone except Stevie ran out.

Back aboard the Arrowhead, the Hunters watched as King Card disembarked his personal ship. "The stage is set.", Cuborg noted.

"And the performers will soon be all here.", Keldor added.

"They'd better be.", Archris growled, before opening a comm channel. "Ignoblia. Have you found the Chimera Ranger?"

"Don't worry, Lord Archris.", Ignoblia assured him. "Our new star attraction will be making his reappearance. And the Rangers will be just as poorly prepared as they were before."

Back on Earth, Marina returned to the zoo house. "I'm back!", she called out. But when she looked inside, the only person she found was Stevie. "Am I the only one to make it back?"

"No, you just arrived late.", Stevie assured her. "The others already set off to deal with the Hunters' latest attack. While I'm still here cleaning up for Grandma Rose's return." She went over and picked up the picture of Johnny and Luke. "Aww, would you look at his. They were so happy back when we took this."

Marina took a look at Luke and instantly became filled with horror. "Oh no, this is bad.", she thought, before blurting out. "Where did the Hunters appear? Tell me, please!"

Stevie was confused, but complied. "It looked to be the town centre. Why?"

"I have to get there fast.", Marina answered as she ran off. "Before anyone does something they shouldn't."

Down at the town centre, King Card was walking through the panicking crowds. "Common folk of Earth, please heed my words. Consider this your eviction notice.", he stated.

It was then that the Rangers showed up. "Hey, ugly.", Lenny called out. "You ready for a second round?"

"But of course.", King Card laughed. "Especially when I know I have a chance to destroy you this time." He threw down some silver coins, summoning Bacteri. "I'd prefer gold coinage, but these riff-raff should do the deed of removing you perfectly."

"Good luck with that.", Johnny told him, as everyone pulled out their Primal Morphers. "It's Morphin' Time!"

"Primal Instincts, Awaken!" In a few seconds, everyone had gone through the motions to morph, and charged into battle, with Johnny and Lenny facing the Bacteri, while Trunks and Tora faced down King Card.

"Let's storm this guy's Bastille.", Trunks announced as he took out his Primal Saber, with both he and Tora running in to try and swing their swords at King Card, who managed to block them.

"You dare lay hands on one of noble blood?" King Card growled as he knocked their Sabers to the ground. But they recovered and managed to hit him, before he was able to dodge simultaneous swings from both of them. "Looks like I'll have to call upon my new bodyguard." Both Rangers immediately stopped, knowing exactly who he was referring to. "Struck a nerve, have I? Good." He then moved forward and began slashing both back with a fan made of cards.

"Trunks, Tora!" Lenny called out as he finished up with his Bacteri opponents, running forward to launch his Primal Mode attack at King Card. "Lion-tning Slash!" He sent waves of thunder at King Card, sending him flying backwards.

"Good job, Lenny.", Johnny called out as he finished up with his Bacteri. "Now let's dethrone this sucker."

But before either of them could attack, they were shot at by a third party. Namely, the Chimera Ranger in his Wolf Mode. "I thought you'd be smarter, Rangers." He commented as he reverted to his Rhino mode and walked forward, with his Reel Staff also reverting. "You should've known I'd show up to destroy you again."

"Actually, we did.", Johnny assured him. He then manifested his Chain Saber. "Which is why we thought we'd go the 'divide and conquer' route." He sent the sword forward, its prehensile blade wrapping around the Chimera Ranger's arm. He then summoned his own Primal Mode and flew off with his catch.

"They did it.", Jeremy commented as he and Sir Caesar watched from the sidelines. "Now we just need to make sure that the Chimera stays separate." He then summoned his own wings, before flying off after the pair.

"And I'd better get in there to help my students.", Sir Caesar decided.

But before he could, Marina ran forward to find Lenny, Trunks and Tora recovering. "Looks like I've missed some stuff.", she noted. "Where's Johnny?"

"He just took off.", Tora informed her. "We planned to lure out the Chimera Ranger so that Johnny could transport him to the river and finish him off there."

"Oh, this is bad.", Marina realised. "I need to get there and stop them."

"Excuse me!" King Card announced angrily. "None shall depart until I prove my superiority over you peasants." He here down more Bacteri coins, growing a few more troops.

Marina growled. "I don't have time for this." She then took out her Morpher, dialling her number and forming the Rangers' logo. In an instant, she was morphed. "So I'm going to make quick work of you so I can proceed." She took out her Primal Blaster, firing shots at some of the Bacteri to take them out, before converting to her Primal Saber to slash the rest of them down. "Now it's just you and us, Hunter."

"Right.", the other three Rangers said as they recovered, preparing to battle King Card.

"Oh, so it's a good old-fashioned brawl you wish for, hmm?", King Card stated. "Then henceforth, we shall do battle!" He then charged into battle with the Rangers.

Onboard the Arrowhead, Ignoblia returned to the ship. "What's been happening?", she asked as she observed the battle between King Card and the other 4. "Where is Chimera? He should've arrived there by now."

"He did.", Keldor explained. "But Johnny was able to displace him from that fight, and transport him elsewhere." He then showed an erratic screen with a moving dot. "We haven't been able to detect where they landed."

"I think I have.", Cuborg spoke up, as a visual of the two flying through the forest appeared on screen. "They've travelled back to the woods where the Chimera Ranger spent 10 years of his life."

"How interesting.", Archris laughed. "Now that we've seen what was on our subject's mind, it's now only a matter of time until the Red Ranger finds out. And the truth will be shocking."

Sure enough, Johnny was taking the Chimera Ranger through the forest, much to the latter's annoyance. "You wanna play rough? Okay!" He then reset his Hunter Morpher to the wolf face, pressing the button. "Primal Change: Wolf!" He then pointed and fired his Reel Blaster, causing Johnny to fall to Earth. Both landed in the river. "Did you bring me back here to mock me?"

"What are you talking about?", Johnny asked as he pulled himself up. "Oh well, if you're going to Primal Change, then so am I." But before he could, the Chimera Ranger fired his Reel Blaster multiple times, which Johnny barely outmanoeuvred. He then flapped his wing to blind his foe with water, before firing his Primal Blaster multiple times. But he soon saw that his enemy was gone. "What?"

"Behind you!", Chimera stated as he appeared at Johnny's back, with the two engaging in a hand-to-hand scuffle.

Back in the city centre, Marina flew directly into King Card. "Tidal Impact!"

Lenny then leapt down to launch his own attack. "Lion-tning Slash!"

"Freezing Slicer!" After Tora launched her attack, she stepped aside. "Do it Trunks."

"Right.", the Elephant Ranger nodded, before launching his own attack. "Rock Quaker!"

King Card barely picked himself up from all of these attacks. "This is most uncouth behaviour for heroes.", he insisted. "Attacking a lone combatant as a group."

"Anything goes when the foe is a Space Hunter.", Lenny said in response as the Rangers regrouped.

Everyone then pointed their Primal Blasters at their foe. "Wild Fury Cube Blast!" They all fired simultaneous shots that hit King Card dead on, destroying him.

"I'd say that it's all over.", Marina stated. "But I think we all know what's coming next."

Sure enough, Ignoblia teleported down. "Poor King Card. You've been overthrown by sans-culottes." She then inserted the growth coin into the slot on his chest. "It's time for a restoration."

In seconds, King Card returned as a giant. "Now I can rule even larger lands.", he announced.

"Called it.", Marina sighed. "Let's get this over with."

"Not quite by ourselves.", Trunks pointed out, as he took out his Morpher and activated the 'summon' function, pressing '1' and '6'. "We need some extra help."

Back at the river, the Eagle and Gorilla Zords flew away from Johnny in the middle of the fight. "Your Zords are running away?", the Chimera Ranger commented. "No matter. I'll simply find them later. I just need to take you down." The fight then resumed.

"Are you sure?", Jeremy called out, throwing the Chimera Ranger off guard. "Do it now, Johnny."

Johnny didn't hear his friend, but he did take the opportunity. "Primal Change: Gorilla!" With his change in form, Johnny was now able to overpower the Chimera Ranger handily, managing to knock him back. "Not so special now, are we?"

"Why you-!", the Chimera Ranger growled as he ran in to continue the fight.

Elsewhere, the 8 Cubezords gathered into their usual combination. "Jungle Beast Megazord, ready!"

This time, Marina was he one with the control weapon. "Alright, round two. And then I can move on." She had the Megazord move towards King Card, delivering multiple punches that were blocked by his fan. Eventually, it launched a punch that knocked King Card back successfully.

"You peasants. It's time you were beheaded.", King Card announced, using his fan to generate a mist that blocked him from view.

"Where did he go?", Tora asked.

"I'm right here." King Card appeared and used his fan to land some hits on the Megazord.

Back at the river, Johnny's fight with the Chimera Ranger continued, with the latter firing a shot off at his opponent. But Johnny dodged it, only to find himself caught in a headlock. "It's time I rid the Earth of you and your evil.", the Chimera Ranger declared.

Johnny was confused. "Me? Archris is the one sending aliens down to destroy our planet, if you hadn't noticed."

"No, I'm not listening to your lies!", the Chimera Ranger insisted as he found his foe breaking free from his grip and pushing him back. "Looks like I underestimated you." He took out his Morpher and pressed the button, before selecting the alligator face. "Primal Change: Alligator!" He then pressed the button again to change form and proceeded to change his Reel Staff's form. "Reel Spear!"

"Let's go!", Johnny responded as he ran forward to meet his opponent.

Back at the Megazord battle, the Rangers had summoned the Bear Axe. "There's no way this can miss, even in this fog.", Trunks stated, as they brought the weapon down.

Sure enough, the shockwaves went through the ground and hit King Card in the face with an explosion. "Ow!"

"Alright, let's just end this.", Marina practically hissed, as she inserted her Morpher into the control weapon. "Jungle Beast Bear Strike!"

The axe collided with King Card to finish him off. "I normally use the axe to end my enemies.", he commented before exploding.

"That's the end of him.", Tora commented.

"But now we need to prevent the end of the Chimera Ranger.", Marina pointed out. "Before he or Johnny can do something they can't come back from."

Back at the river, after repeatedly slamming his Reel Spear into the water, the Chimera Ranger decided to change tack. "Super Primal Mode, Unleash!" He then proceeded to launch his attacks against Johnny. "Final Hunt!" While Johnny was still standing after tanking this, even managing to briefly stumble forward, the next attack threw him overhead, causing him to revert to the Eagle Ranger. "Darkness Charge!" With his foe downed, the Chimera Ranger turned to take him down. "Let's end this!"

"Stop!" Before Jeremy could come out of his hiding place, Marina came running forward to stand between the two, while the other three approached Jeremy.

"She says she knows who the Chimera Ranger really is.", Trunks explained to Jeremy. "She says that it could stop the fight."

"Why do you want me to stop?", the Chimera Ranger asked. "I'm your enemy."

"No, you're not.", Marina insisted. "Luke!" The use of this word seemed to shock him. "You haven't heard it in so long, but I know your name." She then removed her morph, revealing her human face. "I've known even before we met earlier."

"You're her.", the Chimera Ranger said, as he reverted to his human state. "But how did you know my name?"

"I learned it… from your brother. Johnny told me.", Marina answered him earnestly.

The other three Rangers and Jeremy were shocked by this. "The Chimera Ranger… was Johnny's long-lost brother all along?", Tora asked, surprised.

"How did that happen?", Lenny asked.

"More to the point.", Jeremy pointed out. "How come he hasn't aged in 10 years? There's no wrinkles, no hair recession, no greying."

Luke, for his part, was shocked by Marina's statement. "You know Johnny? Where is he?" He grabbed on to her shoulders for emphasis. "Where is he?"

Johnny then pulled himself up. "I'm right here." He then undid his morph, shocking his brother. "I can't believe it… after all these years, I've finally done it. I finally found you."
