LAST TIME ON DRAGON BALL Z: THE GODAI SYSTEM
We followed Piccolo, Trunks and Goten on their way to the planet without fire, Sarkinia. Once they all landed on the frozen planet, they ended up having an encounter with a cat-like being. After some messing around, Piccolo ended up keeping the cat and giving her the name Peneko. They then proceeded to travel until reaching a nearby village which they found in total desolation.

AGE 775, AUGUST 10TH, SARKINIAN VILLAGE
Goten looks around the village before them "it's, it's all messed up and stuff", Trunks then adds to what Goten says "yeah, it's like a tornado passed through". Goten and Trunks then meet eyes as Trunks says "wanna look around" to which Goten immediately says "yeah" and is gone before he's even finished saying the word.
The boys walk around the village but there isn't exactly much to see because as Goten said, it's all messed up. The houses are made out of some type of wood but they can't see trees for miles, trees are probably rare on this planet. There isn't even a path between houses, just houses beside houses on and on except for something strange. They saw craters on the way there but "why's there a crater here…instead of a house?" says the boys.
They stop walking between the row of houses as they look at the crater which is strangely a perfect cube, they look behind themselves to see another house opposite of the crater. "Maybe it got blown up" suggests Goten but Trunks then says "with what though, there's like…nothing everywhere on this planet". The boys look from the crater to each other a few more times before coming up with a blank, shrugging and moving on.
Piccolo with Peneko on his head had also begun a search of the village but not just to look around, he was searching for the chief. Piccolo garnered more attention from the locals than the boys due to his height and Peneko. As he walked he heard "that them?" and "he have Itkadi" which Piccolo assumed was the name of the name of Peneko's species. Piccolo trudges through the town, taking in the desolation "without fire we'd still be cavemen but still, somethings happening here".
Goten and Trunks are near the end of the village when they see a house about twice the size of the others. The boys walk towards the house but the door opens before they can even get there. A Sarkinian steps out but this one seems different, he's taller, he seems to have gotten more of the limited food and the look in his eyes is more chiefly.
As he steps out, the Sarkinians nearby kneel down, confirming that this is the chief of the village but there are also mutterings "It sondurmek" "but he still hurt" "why he come out?". The boys lock eyes with Sondurmek as the chief holds his side "you no take planet no more!" Goten looks confused "take your planet?". The chief, seemingly not understanding this was a question, yells "YOU NO TAKE OUR PLANET" before pulling out his club and rushing towards Goten.
Goten watches as the chief runs at him "he's an old guy" comments Goten "and weak" adds Trunks. The boys watch as the chief rushes at them, his club dragging against the ground as it was strangely much too big to be used effectively. The chief swings clumsily as Goten in an attempt to finish the youngest son of Goku off quickly.
Goten looks up at Sondurmek as he catches the club and lightly hits Sondurmek away…through a house or 3. The villagers rush over to Sondurmek and pull him out of the rubble, an old, female Sarkinian shakes Sondurmek frantically before saying "he…he no wake up". Another female sits beside her "no worry Faykamy, Sondurmek strong….he strong".
A look of fear crosses Goten's face "w-wait, did I just kill him!?" before someone taps Goten's shoulder "we can still sense his ki even if there isn't much, don't be an idiot". Goten slowly turns but then lets out a sigh of relief at the sight of Piccolo and Peneko behind him. Goten turns back to the villagers who have all lined up in front of him and so Goten gets into a fighting position, the villagers then kneel.
Goten returns to standing upright as he raises one eyebrow "huh, why're you all kneeling?" The female Sarkinian who was helping Sondurmek, Faykamy, raises her head "strongest in village…is chief". Goten takes a few seconds to understand the primitive language but then says "w-wait…I'm the chief now!". Trunks then says "oh come on, I'm stronger anyway" but Piccolo butts in "shut up Trunks this could be useful".
Piccolo then bends down to Goten "now that your chief, they'll answer our questions so just say what I say" Goten nods but is more focused on Peneko yanking at his hair. Piccolo whispers something to which Goten says to the villagers "what has happened to the planet?". The faces of all the Sarkinians grow grave as Faykamy says "me chief's wife, me explain". Goten looks as if he'd just seen a ghost but Piccolo mutters "just go along with it".
AGE 725, MARCH 19TH, PLANET SARKINIA
Sarkinia was never the greatest planet in the solar system, without fire that much would be obvious but it used to be better. Sondurmek, a much younger, 20 something year old version of the old man Goten nearly killed is part of a hunting party. This small group had gotten the honour of hunting with the current village chief, Atesi.
Atesi was a prideful man, despite being middle aged he could be mistaken for someone the age of Sondurmek. Prideful as all living hell but he had the power to back it up, even among the Sarkinians he was a simple man, not even a house to his name. If not hunting, Atesi was training the best of his village to be better so that when he dies fighting, he will have a worthy successor.
Sondurmek got the extra privilege of standing beside Atesi alongside the strongest female of his village, Faykamy. They walked through the frigid conditions of Sarkinia, completely unfazed as a member of the hunting squad near the back yelled "HAYVANLARS" before pointing to the left side of the group. Everyone swerved to their left as the claims of the member was proven, a group of 3 hayvanlars could be seen to their left.
Hayvanlars were rare beasts of Sarkinia, even Sarkinians themselves only had enough food to sustain their lives so massive beasts like them usually starved. They were an average of 9 feet tall with massive swerving tusks that nearly reached the ground to scoop up the smaller prey of Sarkinia. The beast's fur was solid white but due to their massive size, this only provided camouflage from quite a distance.
Atesi looked at the hayvanlars and licked his lips, Sondurmek and Faykamy stepped forward but Atesi puts his arms out, blocking the two "me do this". He raised his club up even though it was twice the size of an average one but it was well known that he had the strength to use it. With a great battle cry, Atesi rushed in at the group of hayvanlars, catching the attention of the mighty beasts.
A hayvanlar rushes at Atesi, attempting to scoop the Sarkinian up with its tusks. Atesi stops in his tracks as he changes his grip on his club, holding each side of the club firmly. The hayvanlar was stopped on impact with the club as Atesi pushes the beast back before smashing its skull in with a massive strike. The hayvanlar fell over, unconscious as the other two rushed in at Atesi in an attempt for revenge.
Atesi jumped up and landed on one of the hayvanlars before raising his club far above his head and smashing the hayvanlar's head. Atesi lets out a laugh as the massive beast crumbles to the ground, nothing compared to the might of the chief. Atesi slowly turns to the last hayvanlar as a look of fear can barely be seen under the creature's thick fur. Atesi then charges at the hayvanlar as he grabs the beast by one of its tusks, allowing him to get a clean shot to the skull.
Atesi stands between the 3 corpses of the hayvanlars, laughing loudly as everyone else watches on. Atesi then gestures for everyone to come over "bring hayvanlar to village" he yells as the group splits into 3 to follow his order. As the group picks up the hayvanlars but then they hear something behind them.
They all drop their hayvanlars and look behind them, a cluster of trees just gone without a trace. It's not even like it was destroyed, it was closer to a chunk of land just being taken from the ground, a perfect cube. Sondurmek and Faykamy walk over to the crater when suddenly they are tackled, they fall to the ground as where they were standing is hit by a ki blast.
The tackle was from Atesi who then says "attack" Atesi then looks around "from above" everyone looks up and they have no clue what they are seeing but we know this is a spaceship. Suddenly blasts start raining down as everyone starts running, everyone except Atesi. Atesi crouches down before jumping up to the ship, he swings at the ship but only gets the edge of the wing as the ship moves. A blast is shot at Atesi, going straight through his right shoulder as he falls to the ground.
Atesi lands in a cloud of dust but he rises to his feet, even with his injury he holds his club firmly in his hand. The ship above them begins charging a massive blast aimed straight at Atesi, the chief plants his feet into the ground and throws his club to the side. Atesi then lets out his battle cry, his aura expands as adrenaline rushes through his body.
The ship shoots the blast at him as Atesi catches it in his bare hands, a roar can be heard from the chief as he is pushed deeper into the ground beneath him. Atesi keeps pushing but he looks back to his group, at Sondurmek specifically, as the blast explodes. Sondurmek reaches out but he already knows that Atesi is no longer with them.
There's no time to rest as blasts start raining down upon them all, Sondurmek runs to scoop up Atesi's club before he rushes back to the group "RUN". The group flee, Sondurmek grabs Faykamy by the hand and drags her along to get her out of her state of shock. They run through forests, through bare land and up glaciers for who knows how long until they don't hear the blasts anymore.
Sondurmek slumps to the ground and puts his head to his knees, allowing the weight of Atesi's club to fall out of his hands, landing beside him. Faykamy sits down beside him "where…where village", Sondurmek raises his head and looks at the surrounding area "me…me don't know…we make new village". The group all look to Sondurmek as they all say together "strongest in village… is chief" Sondurmek looks down to his club, knowing now that he will bear the struggles of his people in place of Atesi, through whatever is attacking them or even their whole planet.
