Annora was sitting on her bed in her own chamber feeling quite anxious. In about an hour, Lucius would come to pick her up and take her to Hogwarts. Her father had told her how to answer to some of the questions and how to act. She also mentally thanked her father for making her train occlumency more often with Severus before Hogwarts because she felt like she was going to need it.
She was dressed in a black sweater with black skinny jeans and her raven hair was done neatly in a braid.
A knock at the door pulled her out of her thoughts as she watched her father walk inside holding a little box. He sat down next to her and waited a few moments before breaking the silence.
"Annora, do you remember everything that I told you to do at Hogwarts? That old man may look like a fool, but, how much as I hate to say it, he is very smart and he can see right through you if you don't focus on putting your occlumency shields up as strong as is possible for you," he explained once again.
"Yes, father, I understand," Annora nodded.
Her father nodded firmly before giving her the little box he was holding. Annora took it from him and opened it. It revealed a beautiful necklace with a black snake pendant with little emerald diamonds for eyes. She examined the necklace carefully before looking back at her father.
"Why are you giving this to me?" she whispered.
Voldemort raised his eyebrows. "Can't a father give his daughter a present?" he asked mockingly.
Annora smiled. "I'm sorry, father, of course you can. It's really beautiful, thank you."
"I'm glad you like it. But you are right, however. The reason I gave you this is because this is an emergency-portkey. If you activate this, the house elves will know and contact me immediately. Only use this if it's a life threatening situation, do you understand?"
Annora nodded. "I understand." She reached inside the box and lifted the necklace so she could take a better look at it. It was absolutely gorgeous. She put it on, and suddenly realized something. "Father, what if someone takes this from me? What if someone takes this from me to use it to find out where this Manor resides? What if –" Concern started to fill in Annora's eyes.
Her father hold out his hand to stop her from talking. "Stop this foolish talking," he said strictly. "Do you think I would forget about such a thing? I made it so that only you or me can take this off, no one else."
Annora nodded and took a deep breath. "Thank you, father."
Voldemort nodded and stood up. "Get ready, Lucius will be here in forty-five minutes. I suspect you downstairs before then."
Annora nodded and watched her father leave the room. The nervousness she felt before her father came distracting her from it returned almost instantly as the door closed. She really hoped she would not let any important information slip from her mouth while she is at Hogwarts. That could ruin all of her father's plans. She tried not to think about it as she waited for time to pass by.

Annora was sitting in the main sitting room. Every minute now, Lucius could come to pick her up. Her father was pacing somewhere further away. Nobody knew Tom Riddle better than Annora does. Everybody sees him as the scary, cruel man (who he is, not gonna lie), but towards Annora he's almost a whole different person. Annora can look right through him. He's nervous, she could tell. Dumbledore is the only man Voldemort fears and in a couple minutes she would be in the same room as the old man without him to protect her.
She took a deep breath as she could hear Lucius enter the Manor. She stood up, fixed her hair and walked to her father, who looked at her.
"You remember everything I told you?"
"Yes father."
"Do you still have your necklace on?"
"Yes father." Annora sighed and showed him the pendant.
"Okay, go," Tom said with a curt nod.
Annora gave a small smile and walked to the fireplace where Lucius was waiting.
"Are you ready?" the neat man asked.
Annora nodded, even though she had never felt so nervous before. She took a couple steadying breaths before walking into the fireplace. Lucius gave her the floo powder, but before she threw it in the fireplace she fixed her Occlumency shields.
With one last look at her father, she threw it into the fireplace and said loud and clearly, "Headmaster's office, Hogwarts." And disappeared, Lucius following directly after her.
After a few moments she entered the place she has dreaded to enter these past few days. She looked around the room and found it, surprisingly, pretty fascinating. There were a lot of bookshelves and at the right sight of Dumbledore's desk, she saw a Phoenix in a cage. She had seen a phoenix one time in her life, but it bit in her finger and was immediately killed for hurting her. She smirked in herself at the memory.
In the middle of the room she saw Dumbledore sitting behind his desk, looking at her in a uncomfortable kind of way. She fidgeted a bit, before Lucius came in the room as well. He nodded firmly at Dumbledore, before motioning for Annora to move towards the desk.
"Good afternoon, Miss Riddle. Good afternoon, Lucius," the old man said kindly, his eyes twinkling madly.
"Dumbledore," Lucius said.
"Take a seat," Dumbledore said and the two guests sat down. Annora never let Dumbledore out of her sight, as if he could attack her any moment now.
"Thank you for coming, Miss Riddle. If you don't mind me asking, pure out of curiosity, how do you two know each other?"
"I'm friends with Draco and I often go and visit him," Annora answered smoothly, saving Lucius a lot of trouble.
Lucius Malfoy is known for being neutral in the war. Only the dark side knows of his true loyalty, but nobody can really do anything to him. It's very clever, really.
"Ah, Draco Malfoy. Is he nice to be around?" the Headmaster asked.
"Yes, otherwise I wouldn't be friends with him, would I?" the young girl challenged the old man.
Dumbledore chuckled. "You do have a point there, excuse me for my stupidity. Can you do certain things, Annora? Things other children can't do?"
Annora looked at Lucius for permission and when the Slytherin nodded she looked back. "I can speak to snakes and perform spells better than my friends," she says in a neutral voice.
Dumbledore wasn't surprised, really, seeing as how Annora is Voldemort's daughter, but it was still a scary fact that she's more powerful than other children. He nodded slowly. "I'm sorry to ask this many questions, my child, but seeing as you are a special case, you leave me no choice," Dumbledore waited a little to catch an expression on the child's face but, unfortunately, her face is still blank. "What do you suspect of Hogwarts?"
This was a weird questions, Annora thought. Why would Albus Dumbledore, her father's enemy, this making it also hers, ask about what she suspects? As if he gives a damn. "I suspect the staff to teach useful things and it to be safe."
Dumbledore smiled. "I can assure you, the staff here teaches great and fascinating things. As for Hogwarts to be safe, there is no safer place than here." He stops again to think his next line over thoughtfully. "…Are you happy at your home? Is it okay there for you?"
Annora was surprised by the sudden change of subject, not that she let it show, of course and thought her response over a couple times before answering. "There is no place better."
Dumbledore's smile lessened a little, before returning, as if he was surprised by that. He cleared his throat. "That's good to hear, but remember this; help will always be given at Hogwarts at those who ask for it."
Annora nodded and waited for the Headmaster to continue.
"Before we accept you into Hogwarts, there are a couple rules you must obey, for you being a special case."
Annora's eyes widened a little bit and she swore in herself as she noticed the old fool noticing her show of emotion. She couldn't believe her ears! He doesn't even know her and he's already making rules. She never did anything to prove she means evil (not that she won't in the future, but the man has no right to think like that!).
"The first rule is: you are not allowed to take flying lessons, fly in your free time or play Quidditch. I would like for you to be in hands reach should we need to. I'm not saying I suspect such a thing from you, but it's just for extra caution."
This is where Lucius interfered for the first time. "Albus, do you truly think this to be necessary? She's just a eleven year old girl."
Albus' smile vanished a little bit as he looked at Malfoy senior. "Oh, I know she is just a young girl, but it's either this or we won't accept her into this school."
Lucius glared but otherwise shut his mouth, before placing a hand on the girl's shoulder for support.
"Miss Riddle, you will also have a stricter curfew. You are not allowed outside your common room after dinner, unless you have detention or me or another Professor wants to see you. I believe that is all. If you do not wish to lose other privileges, do not do anything that will make you lose It anyway."
Annora nodded and heard a dismissal. She didn't know how quickly she wanted to leave this room and this man. There is something about him that makes her blood boil. With one last look at the room, she threw the floo powder in the fireplace and said, "Malfoy Manor," before returning at once. She obviously couldn't floo directly to Riddle Manor as she would be able to be followed.
Once at Malfoy Manor she saw Draco sitting on the couch reading a book. He looked surprised, but smiled in acknowledging.
Draco was a few centimetres taller than Annora was, and was perfectly build for someone his age. His silver hair was combed neatly back and his grey eyes stood out like diamonds on his pale face.
"Hey Dray! You will never believe where I was," Annora said excitedly. She goes up to him and sits next to him.
"Spill," Draco said, putting away his book.
"I went to see Dumbledore with Uncle Lucius," the girl said, and smirked at the surprise on the Malfoy heir's face.
"Is that old fool finally dead?!" Draco asked with a lot of excitement.
Annora chuckled. "No, stupid," she said, while playfully pushing him. "He wanted to see me to ask stupid questions and tell me stupid rules I must obey. And, believe me, he is worse in person then all the stories out fathers tell us."
"Rules?" Draco frowned.
"Yup, I have a special curfew and I'm not allowed to be flying. It sucks, really, but father wants me to do something for him there, and honestly, it's too much fun to decline and stay home being bored off my ass."
"It isn't too bad, luckily…" Draco said and comfortable silence took over, until the fireplace came to life and Lucius stepped out.
"That took you long enough," Annora scoffed half-heartedly, standing up and walking to the fireplace.
"That old excuse of a Headmaster wanted to talk to me about something different, I apologize," Lucius explained and motioned her to step inside the fireplace.
Annora waved Draco goodbye before she threw the floo powder into the fireplace and disappeared home.

When Annora came home, her father was already waiting for her. He acknowledged her presence by looking up, and then motioned towards the armchair opposite of him.
Annora quickly wiped away the dust off her sweater and sat down in the armchair.
"How did it go?" Voldemort asked after a little while.
"It went better than I suspected, to be honest. He asked me some questions, and I didn't reveal more than necessary. He also told me some rules I had to obey should I wish to stay at Hogwarts." The young girl said the last part with a smirk.
Voldemort snorted. "And what may those rules be?"
Annora sighed. "I am not allowed to fly. This means, no flying lessons, no flying in my free time and no Quidditch. That's not that important to me. I also have my own curfew. I can't be outside of my common room after dinner, except if he or other Professors want to speak to me or if I have detention."
Voldemort sighed and shook his head. "Is that all?"
"Yes, father, that's all," Annora answered.
Voldemort nodded. "I really want you to be careful at that school. Your safety is my main priority, do you understand? You will not run into trouble, you will stay respectful and not lose your temper."
"Yes, father, you have told me so a hundred times before. I will watch my back, I promise," Annora said, sighing.
Voldemort gave a half-heartening glare. "Watch your mouth, Annora. I may be your father, but remember who you are talking to."
Annora bowed her head in shame. "I'm sorry father. I promise I'll stay safe."
Voldemort nodded in approvement. "Good. Now, I believe Severus is waiting for you in the dungeons. Go."
Annora nodded and left the room, to get ready for her training with Severus. She honestly couldn't wait to go to Hogwarts.
