InuYasha and the gang run into a group of monks who ask them for help dealing with a powerful demon who has been sealed away, but this demon, this being is something that the group had never seen before.

10. Delight

Delight

All InuYasha can feel is pain. Katsumi smiles madly at the sight, "Does it hurt, my little puppy?" With a flick of her wrist, Katsumi manages to cause InuYasha more pain. He screams out, and Katsumi laughs with delight.

"LEAVE HIM ALONE!" Kagome yells as she nocks an arrow. Katsumi holds her other hand up in the direction of the rest of the group, throwing them all back before Kagome gets a chance to shoot. She walks toward the others, stopping InuYasha's torture for the moment.

InuYasha falls to his knees and drops Tessaiga. He finally catches his breath and he looks down at his hands, black markings covering them with claws of a true demon.

"No! What did you do to me, Katsumi?!"

Rage and confusion take hold of InuYasha. Before he can make sense of what he is doing, he is on top of Katsumi. He tries to slasher at her with his claws but she moves to the side untouched. "What a beast you've become," Katsumi laughs at InuYasha's current state but her expressions quickly change to irritation when InuYasha bites into her neck. She kicks him off but InuYasha still manages to take a chunk out of her. Katsumi rises unfazed by the missing piece of flesh, which InuYasha spits out as he glares. In just a few moments she heals the wound.

"RUN! Get out of here. I'll be right behind you," InuYasha yells to the others. They leave, Kagome being the most reluctant to leave. Sango practically pulls her along. InuYasha charges at her talons first, several times, only for her to dodge his attacks.

"You can barely control yourself, InuYasha. Even if you do get away from me, you'll end up ripping your friends to shreds." Katsumi explains.

"SHUT UP! I'VE ENOUGH OF YOU!" InuYasha roars, and he rushes her once more. Katsumi stops him, rendering him motionless and sending a colossal amount of pain through his body, bringing him to his knees one last time.

She approaches him and grapes a handful of hair, she tilts his head up so they are face to face. "My little puppy, I will enjoy breaking you." Katsumi purrs, then her hand glows with purple electricity. She places one finger on his forehead causing him to go unconscious.
