Episode 1: Sweet Breeze of Change
After a month from the festival and their time spent together, Ayaka is in her room pondering over what just happened on that day with her heart feeling like it's about to burst out of her chest. "Amazing, the Geo Archon used this blade and you are giving it to me?" she asked trying to contain her excitement and failing badly at it. Aether noticed a pretty smile skirt across her flawlessly white face.
"Yep, I think it will compliment your Mistsplitter katana very well," Aether said. "Now, you will use it to protect the people here," Aether said.

"Oh, this is delicious," Aether said as Ayaka glows in the face.
"Really?" she asked.
"Of course, your cooking is amazing Ayaka," he praises her with her donning a smile.
"Oh, thank you, I am glad you like it," Ayaka began to eat her food as well. He noticed her causal outfit to be a white blouse and a blue pleated skirt forming against her short curvaceous frame.

"I have been learning from watching you," Endora said as they hear a knock on the door. They go over and see Aether and Ayaka.
"Oh, it's good to see you Aether. Also, you brought us a visitor," Tubby said.
"Hey Aether," Endora said as the floating water spirit waved to them.
"Okay, Ayaka. This is the Teapot Spirit Tubby. She runs the place and this is Endora who is an Oceanid from Fontaine," Aether said as Ayaka grabs the edges of her skirt to take a bow for them.
"I am honored to meet you both," Ayaka said.
"Oh, I like her already," Endora said as Tubby nods her head.
"Indeed, very polite and kind as well. Aether has chosen quite the lover," Tubby teases them to make the pair grow in the face.

"Yes I am," Eudora nods her head.
"Why are you here, I thought you hail from Fontaine?" she asked as Endora looks on with sadness.
"Due to the death of our previous Hydro Archon, the new one we didn't agree with. We all scattered to the rivers and oceans to avoid her wraith to seek new homes for ourselves," Endora said as Ayaka feels sadness by this.
"Oh, it seems like we are not the only ones who have an Archon that has gotten rotten over the years. The Electro Archon going sour isn't a surprise when you see her patterns in the past," Ayaka said as Aether looks confused by this.
"What do you mean by that?" Aether asked.
"Well, she sealed a powerful nine-tailed fox within seal a long time ago. Her name was Momohime, she was betrayed by Baal's jealousy of her power and grace. Momohime thought Baal was her friend but stabbed her in the back. This story is forgotten in the sands of time. Barely anyone remembers this real-life tale," Ayaka sounding pretty sad about it.

When the sword and swordmaster become one, it's something quite beautiful to see especially in combat," Ayaka said as she loves Aether's graceful yet powerful fighting style despite him being self-taught.

Ayaka goes in hard with grace strikes and slashes but Aether is managing to deflect her blows while sidestepping her attack. "Come on Ayaka, you can't be so obvious," Aether said as Ayaka is putting on pressure as Aether is dodging and weaving her strikes.
In one swift movement, Aether manages to disarm her Mistsplitter with a well-aimed blade bending. The katana flies into his hand to see Ayaka is awestruck by how bad she was. "It needs work but you did adapt as always," Aether said as he hands the blade back to Ayaka.
"Shoot, I need to improve this dual-blade style. This can aid me in fights in the future and cover your back," Ayaka said.

"Besides that, the people are not liking the things handled by the government for a long time now. They are spread too thin to handle the decay of society within Inazuma. People demand change but the clans will never allow it to happen," Ayaka said.
"Why not?" Aether asked.
"Because people in power will always try to maintain even against the people's wishes. You see that within the other two clans, only caring about their self-interest while the people suffer from those choices," Ayaka said feeling quite passionate about this.
"I will admit, in my time for the past month or so. I am not fond of the other two clans due to their actions. One is being greedy and the other are bullies pushing their power down others' throats," Aether said as Ayaka shakes her head.
"I am sorry, I am getting into politics. We should be having fun here," Ayaka said as Aether pats her shoulder.

"Already, check out our clothing here. We got styles from local to foreign like Mondstadt," the shopkeeper said.

"Aether, you are dazing out. Thinking about me?" she asked as Aether snaps out of his fantasy to nod his head. Ayaka smiles at this being nearby a dressing room. "Okay, I am going to try these on and I want your honest opinions on them," she said.
"Leave it to me," Aether gives her a thumbs up for she goes inside to begin stripping out of her outfit to be in her underwear looking into the mirror.
"I am nervous but I need to be brave and show him a nice view," Ayaka said trying out the sundress to come out of the dressing room showing it off. "How do I look?" she asked as this pearly white sundress is fitting to her short body.
"Great," she said as Ayaka smiles to go into the dressing room to try out another dress which is blue and formfitting. "How about this?" she asked.
"Cool," Aether said as he looks at her round plump butt hugging the back of the skirt. "Very noticeable, too bad she hides those buns under that skirt," Aether said as she comes back into the dressing room to come out with a blue and white striped frilly bikini that floored Aether.
"This is quite cute, what do you think?" she asked as Aether sees Ayaka's lovely shape on full display.
"Beautiful, you knocked my socks off," Aether said bluntly as Ayaka feels her bashfulness coming back to cup her face with her hands covering up her blush.
"Oh really, I am happy you like it so much," Ayaka said with her heart beating against her chest as she gets back into her outfit to take her new clothing to the counter. "I want to buy these," she said.
"That will be 5000 Mora please," the shopkeeper said as she takes out her coin purse to place the coins. The shopkeeper puts the clothing in a bag to hand to her.
"Okay, thanks for your patronage, and good luck sweetie pies," the shopkeeper said as they exit out of the shop.
"That was fun, let's go for that bookshop over there," Ayaka said as they spot a large bookstore. She drags Aether along to head inside. They both see it has several rows of books, manga, light novels, and other things lining up the shelves.
"A huge selection of items here," Aether said as they spare out to check out the different books.
They have gotten their books and sit on the floor in a corner on the other side of the shop. "What did you get?" Aether asked as Ayaka shows him a manga called Princess X.
"I love this one, it's about a young woman who goes on an adventure to find the man she loves and tries to save his life from a powerful wizard. It's very compelling," Ayaka said.
"Sounds pretty romance," Aether said as Ayaka nods her head.
"it is and seeks a life of adventure and danger to be with the one she loves most," Ayaka said as she sighs at this. "I wish I can be like that. Going out to the world with Aether by my side," she thought.
"Cool and I got this book called Sea of Outlaws. A young guy goes on a quest to find a long-lost treasure while fighting all kinds of weird creatures and pirates along the way," Aether said.
"Oh, that sounds exciting," Ayaka said sitting with her knees on the floor. Aether looks to see her long curvy legs displayed wishing he can caress them so tenderly but he holds this thought in the back of his mind.
Aether smells the delightful scent of her hair. "Wow, your hair smells so good," Aether said.
"Oh, it's the Cherry Blossom scent I got from a local shop within the city. I am happy you like it," Ayaka said.
"Hey Ayaka, we are pretty alone in this corner of the shop. You know?" he asked being flirty as Ayaka is blushing like a tomato.
"Yes we are," Ayaka said in a mousy voice. "Gee, he is talking about kissing me here. I am not mentally prepared for this," she thought as she sees his face getting pretty close to her own. "Oh Aether, I want this so badly," she thought for they hear a loud growl coming from Ayaka's stomach.
"Someone is hungry," Aether said jokily as Ayaka backs away in embarrassment.
"Oh my, this is so embarrassing and unladylike of me. I am sorry," Ayaka feels guilty to bow her head as Aether is laughing at this.
"Relax, you are hungry. No big deal. Come on, I am ready for a nice meal myself," he said as they head outside to go to a restaurant that is serving food from Mondstadt.
"Hello, Traveler, and Lady Ayaka herself gracing my shop. So, what do you need?" the male shopkeeper asked.
"Smells good, I wonder what is on the menu," Ayaka said as they see all the selections on the paper card. "So Aether, what do you suggest?" she asked.
"Well, the Moon Pie and a bowl of mash potatoes," Aether said.
"Oh okay, we will both two orders please," Ayaka said as the cooks got to work with them sitting on the chairs outside to await their orders. They got apple cider in glasses for them to see their food placed on the table.
"Enjoy," the shopkeeper said as Ayaka looks at the meat pie to be deeply interested in it.
"Looks and smells good," she said as she grabs onto the food and bit into it. Her tastebuds went on a wild ride. "Oh my gosh, this is amazing," Ayaka is digging into her Moon Pie with Aether being happy to see her enjoying the food.
"I am glad you are enjoying yourself," Aether said as he always liked Ayaka having a healthy appetite despite how thin her waist is.
"Yes, this is wonderful," Ayaka uses a spoon to dig into the mashed potatoes which are making her tongue dance with delight. "This is delicious as well," Ayaka said as Aether drinks his apple cider.
"Oh Ayaka, I need to use the bathroom," Aether said.
"It's over there, I will wait here for you," Ayaka said as Aether walks off out of sight with Ayaka enjoying her Moon Pie. "So good," she thought as she looks in the corner of her eyes to see a group of thugs chasing after a young girl.
Ayaka summons her Mistsplitter ready to confront them to go behind a crate to see the thugs roughing up the kid.
"Hey girlie, where is our Mora?" he asked as Ayaka sees the girl has blood leaking from the side of her head.
"I don't have it yet, give me more time," the girl said as the head thug shoves her against the building.
"Your parents are deadbeats and you need to pick up the slack. You pay with cash or pay with your body," the head thug takes her arm and begins to drag her away. Suddenly icy crescent goes through the head thug's arm as blood explodes onto the walls.
"Get out of here now," Ayaka said as she holds onto her katana. All 12 thugs turn around to see the white-blue-haired woman behind them wielding a purple sword.
"Who the fuck are you missy?" one of the criminals asked wielding blunt objects.
"The one who is protecting that girl from your wrath," Ayaka said as they all come at her at once. She switches to the flat part of her blade to strike them swiftly to knock them out one by one. The girl looks in awe at Ayaka's skill with the sword.
Within a minute, all but the head thug is knocked out. "You bitch, my boss will not like it when you cross him," the head thug using his only arm tries to draw a revolver from his pocket but Ayaka's speed manages to take him down before using his gun.
Ayaka puts away her sword to approach the girl. "Are you okay?" she asked as she nods her head. Ayaka hands her a healing potion. "Drink it, you will feel better and I will call the guards to take these bad men away," Ayaka said as she gets a hug from the girl.
"Thank you, madam," the girl said as she moves away with a bright smile on her face. Ayaka tells the guards to take these criminals away.
She goes back to her seat to see Aether was waiting for her there. "I see you took out the trash," Aether said as they resume eating their meal.
"Those were Tai's pirates called the Blaze Raiders. Those people are the worst. They are not like Captain Beidou, they will sell anything for money. Drugs, weapons, and sex slaves. If I didn't save that girl, she will no doubt be put into a slave market," Ayaka said having a frown on her face.
"Slave markets here, isn't the military or police doing anything about this?" Aether asked.
"They have deep pockets, some of the corrupt Samurai take in their services and look the other way. The Shogunate has grown so weak with the corruption over the years and Baal isn't the only thing wrong with this nation," Ayaka said sounding very somber about this.
"Ayaka," Aether said.
"I saw one of the pirates using a gun. Seems like it's from Snezhnaya or based on designs from there. These guns are spreading across the nation and allow small groups to overpower Samurai in mass," Ayaka said.
"Gun beats a sword most of the time," Aether said as Ayaka sighs at this.
"Yes and they are being made in hidden factories used by pirates and other more extreme groups out there," Ayaka said as Aether raises his eyebrows at this.
"Other extreme groups like who?" Aether asked.
"A group called the Seven Stars who have a deep hatred for the Shogunate and all Samurai. They are social reformists who want to fight the very nature of this nation and what it's built on. Deep in bigotry and hatred for outsiders/outcasts, many villages and small towns have gained their support," Ayaka said.
"If they want to fight the Shogunate, why fight in the Resistance?" he asked as Ayaka sighs at this.
"Each island has its own culture and ideals they fight for. Baal killed the leader's god a long time ago and has reasons to fight against the Shogun. The Seven Stars want to change the system to become a democracy and destroy the old ways that they believe are holding back Inazuma going into the modern age," Ayaka said.
"That sounds nice," Aether said as Ayaka sighs at this.
"They have reasons to hate and destroy the Shogunate. Even then the age of the Samurai might be over sooner than later," Ayaka said as she feels sorry about her slipping into politics again. "Sorry, I was talking like that again," she said.
'Don't worry about it, speak your mind and I will be here to listen," Aether said as Ayaka looks on with warmth deep within her heart.
"Aether, come on. Let's head for the beach where no one can see us," she said as they finish their meals to head off with them taking shelter under a cliff to be under the dark shade from the warm sun. "This is perfect," Ayaka pulls out a blanket onto the white sands for them to sit on. They sit down to enjoy the wide-open blue ocean in front of them. "This is a nice view," she said.
"I got a better view right here," Aether said putting his arm around her shoulder pulling her close to him.
"Oh Aether," she said placing her head onto his chest taking in his smell giving her a sense of comfort and safety. "I need to be honest with you," she said looking up into his eyes.
"What is it Ayaka?" he asked.
"I have had a deep interest in you for a while before you even came here. I heard about the tales of you fighting Stormterror, stopping a Fatui Harbinger, protecting Liyue from Osial, sealing away a dark god Void from taking over Liyue, and taking down an immortal tyrant Lord Drake from the Lawrence Clan," Ayaka listed his feats as a Traveler for she stops herself from fangirling out from his amazing achievements.
"You are trying to oversell me or something," Aether sounding humble about it making Ayaka love him even more than before.
"I know but you have done very great within 18 months of being on this world. I wanted to be like you, going on adventures and seeking delicious food. Here I am stuck within this island nation looking pretty for the crowds," Ayaka said.
"You have your duties here to your people Ayaka, that is important," Aether said as Ayaka frowns at this.
"I know but the winds of changes are coming. Regardless of what happens in this civil war and beyond, I need to be true to myself and protect what matters. My family, my nation, and you, Aether," Ayaka goes up and kisses him on the lips.
Aether felt surprised as he takes in her kiss to give her a warm embrace. Both are on cloud nine to be overwhelmed with emotions with Ayaka's heart feeling like it's about to burst out of her chest.
"Oh Aether, this is what I wanted. Let me be selfish at this moment, no princess of the Kamisato House but just a normal woman with wants and desires of her own," she thought pulling deeper into his hug as they deeply make out.
Then they pull away from the kiss with Ayaka looking deep into his eyes. "I love you Aether from the bottom of my heart," Ayaka said with her words etched with a longing that knocked Aether off his feet.
"Well, that was nice," Aether sounded breathless as he and Ayaka were flushed in the face.
"Was I okay?" she asked feeling nervous.
"Yes, it was very good," he said as Ayaka giggled at the goofy grin on his face.
"I will do my best to make you happy, Dearly," Ayaka said placing her head onto his chest for them to lay on the blanket to just hug each other.
"I know you will Princess," Aether said as they gave each other their pet names for them to enjoy the rest of the day together.
