I knew the reality of this situation would have to be faced. But I hoped that Peyton was lying to me. Clearly she had her secrets. Yet blew everything apart when I wanted to end it and be with Brooke. Even with her no longer in the picture.
Our lives were changed and shaped differently. How was I supposed to bring any of this up to the boys? Lucas thought to himself.
(I think we can work out way towards you meeting them. I mean there hasn't even been a cAME test done yet.) Lucas replied.
(Actually Peyton had one done. Years ago. While she was pregnant.) Clay announced. Handing over the folder which held the official paper.
Lucas read the results to himself in black and white.
Clay was the biological father.
Whatever sympathy or empathy he had for Peyton vanished.
She knew at some point during the pregnancy and kept it quiet.
Allowing him to be there for appointments. Births. All the moments and milestones knowing it was based on a lie.
Lucas felt sick. And angry. And found himself wondering. If Peyton did this because she knew him finding out would change everything.
Lucas sighed deeply. Accepting Clay 's business Clay left.
Lucas allowed himself to sit in his thoughts.
He had the door open. H He could let this horrible chapter of his life go.
Let Clay take the boys to LA and move on with his life.
Lucas thought to himself. As he finished out his work day.
