When they watched the live broadcast, both ghost hunting teams were shocked to find out that Vlad was a ghost. For the Masters' Blasters it was a hard blow because it was their boss, while for the Guys in White there were other protocols in case a public servant was involved in their investigations. This brief moment of doubt was exploited by team Phantom to knock them out.

Tucker distracted them by shooting them with his bazooka. When they came alert, Sam caught the Guys in White with Wraith Wrangler and Jazz, using the ghost peeler, knocked out Vlad's acolytes. Tucker and Sam strapped the operatives to the unconscious bodies of the Masters' Blasters.

- This is a federal crime. – K said.

- Helping the ghost boy makes you accomplices of…

- Shut up! – Sam shouted to O.

- He's a murderer… - He said scornfully.

- He did nothing! - Tucker intervened. – The other ghost was the one who killed…

- Who died? – Jazz asked fearfully.

- We'll tell you on the way. - Tucker said. – Get the truck. We will go for them.

Anxious, Jazz just nodded and ran off.

- Danny! - Sam ran over to the boy's body, which was lying face down.

Tucker looked to the side and saw that Vlad was regaining consciousness. He growled before walking over to him and helping him. Tucker dropped to his knees, slipped Vlad's arm around his shoulders and, securing him around the waist, stood up with him. Vlad groaned in pain at the sudden movement and placed his free hand on his abdomen.

- Would it kill you to be a little nicer? – He reproached him.

- Hey, we don't have much time. – Tucker replied angrily.

The sound of sirens in the distance put them on alert and little by little, all the recent memories came back to his mind. The fight, the helicopter, the defeat, his identity revealed to the world and…

- Hey!

He broke free from Tucker's hold without giving any explanation, and as best he could, he walked to a small pile of rubble. Tucker followed close behind, but stopped a few feet away from him as he knelt in the pile of rubble. When he saw what he was doing, something in Tucker moved.

Vlad looped his right arm under her back, lifting the torso of a badly damaged Danielle. Her head moved without resistance where gravity took it. A green liquid was coming out of her nose and her face was badly battered. The mayor's face broke down in a reaction of pain and anger. He slipped his other arm under Danielle's legs, but when he tried to lift her up, his shoulder throbbed with pain, causing him to drop the few inches he'd managed to lift.

He growled in frustration with himself, and then he noticed the dark-skinned man kneeling in front of him. They looked into each other's eyes for a few seconds, in complete silence. Vlad looked down and removed his hands so Tucker could pick her up for him. Slowly, he rose to his feet and placed his good hand on the boy's left shoulder, who slowed his steps so he could act as his support.

- Danny… Danny! - Sam's panicked screams got their attention.

Although Tucker wanted to go with her and help in any way he could, the unconscious girl in his arms prevented him, so he just watched her friend.

- Sam!

- Tucker! He's not responding!

When Sam got to where Danny was, the first thing she did was turn him around. Very carefully, she put the boy's head on her legs and noticed all the blows he had taken. Her eyes glazed over, but she fought back the tears that threatened to fall. She kept his head straight as she tried to reanimate him. She tried whispering her name, shaking him slowly and lightly patting his cheek. When she didn't get any reaction, she started to worry more.

Grasping the sleeve of her jacket, she lifted Danny's arm and placed her fingers over the veins in his wrist. She could feel the young man's pulse, very weak. She brought her hand under her nose and couldn't hold back the tears anymore.

- He's not breathing!

At that moment, Jazz drove the truck into the area and stopped it near them.

- Jazz, open up! – Tucker yelled as he approached the back doors of the truck.

Without saying a word, Vlad approached Daniel.

Jazz flung open the back doors and saw Tucker walking toward her with Danielle in his arms. She then turned her head and saw Sam crying, Danny's body in her lap.

- What happened to Danny? - She said with fear.

- He's not breathing. - He said putting the girl in the back.

- Danny! – Jazz ran towards his brother.

Sam looked up when she felt a hand on her shoulder and saw Vlad using her as a cane so he could kneel next to her. He looked into her eyes, as if asking her permission to do something, and she just nodded. Vlad looked at Daniel and turned his right hand intangible, and plunged it into the young man's chest. Jazz joined them a few seconds later. When Vlad removed his hand, Danny flinched, opening his eyes and taking a deep breath.

Jazz and Sam squealed with delight, and the goth just hugged Danny's head, placing her forehead on top of his.

- Sam…

- Da…

- We have to go! – Tucker shouted. – Now!

Everyone became alert as the sounds of patrols intensified. They began to hear voices, lots of them, coming from the areas surrounding their location. Tucker walked up to them and began yelling instructions.

- Jazz! Start the truck! Sam, I'll take Danny. You help Vlad. Let's go!

Sam wrapped Vlad's arm around her shoulders and began to guide him to the back of the truck. Jazz started the car and through the glass watched operatives K and O run towards them. Tucker trailed behind with Danny, who was having a hard time moving. When they saw them, the operatives opened fire.

- Daniel Fenton, you are under arrest!

Giving his best, Tucker dodged the shots and ended up falling to the ground with his friend. Danny grunted in pain, but he didn't complain to him. After all, he was only trying to save his life. Jazz activated the ghost shield to provide cover for his friends and backed the vehicle up. Sam almost pushed Vlad inside and jumped on.

- Everyone get out of that truck!

- And hand over those criminals!

Tucker looked at Danny, then at the truck, and then at the two operatives who were still advancing on them, still shooting.

- Dude… I'm so sorry.

Danny stared at his best friend, not understanding what he was talking about or why he was apologizing, until waves of pain kicked in. Without any finesse, Tucker pulled his arm over his shoulder and, crouching down, lifted him over his shoulder. He started to run towards the vehicle when police officers began to appear on the scene.

- Don't move or we'll open fire!

- Hand over the ghost scum!

- Fire!

Tucker jumped into the truck in time as real lead bullets began to ricochet off the truck's exterior metallic surface. Sam reached out with both hands to hold the back doors and slammed them shut.

- Go!

Jazz put her foot down on the gas and drove straight into the operatives, who had to jump to the side to avoid being hit, while police continued to fire at the getaway vehicle.

- We continue with the special coverage of the battle in Amity Park, where things have taken an unexpected turn. After the terrible defeat of the city's heroes, it was revealed that our mayor, Vlad Masters, is also the ghost of Wisconsin. A ghost who has been connected to a variety of petty crimes. This has unleashed a host of mixed reactions among citizen and social media users, who now accuse him of using his powers to manipulate the elections in which he ran as a candidate.

- Vlad... is a ghost? - Jack couldn't believe it.

Vlad was a skeptic about ghosts…he couldn't understand how he had acquired powers, or since when.

- That bastard! – Molly Sanders shouted in the boardroom, where everyone in the city hall had gathered to watch the news.

- But that's not all: the hitherto called hero of the city, Danny Phantom, turned out to be none other than a young man named Daniel Fenton. The son of local ghost hunting couple, Jack and Maddie Fenton...

- Pride and prejudice! - Lancer exclaimed, dropping his razor to the ground in the middle of his bathroom.

- Phantom is Fenton?! – Kwan yelled as he watched the news on the screen of the convenience store where he worked.

- Information provided by the high command of the government organization of the Guys in White, hold this young man responsible for this morning's explosion, which apparently was an attack on one of their secret facilities, where, unfortunately, 35 deaths…

Valerie's hands trembled in a mixture of anger, annoyance, and sadness. Those 3 had taken her for a fool for years. But the worst part was Danny. He had gone out with her. They had almost dated and he never seemed to trust her enough to tell her that "tiny" detail. Danny was the one responsible for ruining her life and for years he had pretended nothing had happened.

- Police reports indicate that the young man and the mayor fled in the known Fenton family ghost assault vehicle, thanks to the complicity of 21-year-old Tucker Foley, 24-year-old Jasmine Fenton, and 21-year-old Samantha Manson.

Jeremy Manson hit the table with his fist. That did it. He had overlooked his daughter's friendship with that boy with the understanding that his parents' stupidity would not affect their son and, by extension, his daughter. But now it turns out that he was a criminal, a phenomenon... and now his daughter was listed as a fugitive and an accomplice to a murderer.

- We're going live with our on-air correspondent, Lance.

- Morning, Amity Park, because so far there hasn't been anything good. As you can see, the police are engaged in a car chase, where the fugitives are opening fire on the city's police forces. Now, there are reports that, in their escape, they took Dani Phantom hostage, who was considered the cousin of the ghost boy. But in light of these revelations, we can only ask: Is that true? Was it all real or just a mirage? Was it heroism or opportunism? I'm Lance, for…

- Turn off that damn radio! - Sam yelled as she shot out the window.

Tucker and her were in the back of the truck, shooting at the patrol cars to stop them from following them. Danny was holding on to the front seat so as not to shake along with the car, while Vlad was taking care of Dani. A shot from the cops hit one of the rear tires, causing everyone to shake violently and sending Sam and Tucker crashing into the side of the truck. As best as she could, Jazz regained control of the vehicle and pressed a blue button on the dashboard.

Automatically, the tires were replaced by tracks similar to those of a military tank, restoring stability. Tucker stood up and pointed at a tire on the nearest police car. The tire blew out and caused the patrol to turn and crash into a parked car, blocking the entire street and giving them some time to get away.

- Tucker, open the hatch.

He turned around and looked at Sam holding an ectoplasm cannon.

- I got rid of them already. – He said with concern.

- But we won't get very far with that helicopter in our tail.

- What?! – Jazz yelled, turning her face to see her.

- Relax! I'm not gonna blow them off.

- That's too much…

- Open it!

Tucker looked at Danny, then at Jazz, at Sam, at Vlad, then at the hatch. He really didn't have much of a choice. He opened it and stepped to the side so Sam could stick her head in and aim. Seconds later, she fired into the front glass of the helicopter. On the ship, no one expected any kind of attack, so it took them completely by surprise. The pilot maneuvered to repel the attack, but still ended up making contact. However, contrary to what they expected, there was no detonation. A green goo just formed all over the glass. With no clear vision, they had no choice but to land on the first building they had access to.

Sam closed the hatch in the roof and tossed the gun to the ground. She released the breath she didn't know she was holding and pressed her back against the metal surface of the truck. Then she dropped to the floor sitting up. She turned to see Danny, who was looking at her with concern, and decided to approach him.

Tucker walked through the truck and ended up getting into the passenger seat. He rummaged in his backpack and took out his tablet and his cell phone.

- Alright… everyone, give me your phones or any electronic device.

- O, K... this is operative L. - The voice came from the radio in the vehicle. – We are minutes away from Amity Park. Do you need support in the chase?

- Operatives Y, R and E are already on their way. – O answered. – But make detentions on the ground. We need to isolate the ghost boy.

- Investigate all known human associates of him, probably he will go to one of them seeking asylum. – K explained.

- I will issue a warrant to arrest the Fentons and I will put surveillance on the Manson's and Foley's homes, and all Vlad Masters' properties, including the one in Wisconsin.

- Add Vlad's adopted daughter, Danielle Masters, to the watchlist. – O commented. – She has her own apartment.

- And she was seen with the runaways a few days ago at the Nasty Burger. – K said as he looked at the last point on the GPS where they could track Jasmine Fenton and Tucker Foley's cell phone.

- Got it.

- Any other name?

- We have reasons to believe that the ghost girl has a partnership with the Red Huntress.

- Monitor the sky to be aware of any sighting. Maybe she will lead us to them.

- Roger that. Catch those bastards.

- Count on it, Operative L. - O said before cutting the communication.

- We have to go to a safe place. – Vlad said to the air. – And get rid of the truck.

- Easier said than done. – Jazz ran a red light.

- We won't get far in the most obvious vehicle in the world. – He insisted.

- And where do you suggest we go? They know our names… they probably already have our houses under surveillance. – Sam said while he attended Danny.

- That's why… you should go. - Danny said.

- You're nuts? – Tucker commented as he typed something on his tablet. – We are already in this.

- And you can say that you were under our mind control or something. – Danny explained. – Now that the truth is out, it is a reasonable explanation…

- We won't leave you. - Jazz sentenced.

- Just look at yourselves. How far do you think you would go without us? - Sam said.

- Guys, I can't ask you to...

- Danny, shut up, okay? - Sam said. – We stay and that's final.

- Bossy. – Vlad whispered, earning a look from the goth.

Vlad took advantage of the silence to rearrange Dani's head on his legs. Sam was pressing gently on Danny's chest to gauge the extent of his injuries, and Jazz kept glancing through the rearview mirrors towards the back.

- Damn it – She whispered as she accelerated.

- What is it? - Sam asked.

- Guy in White at 9.

Tucker looked in his rearview mirror and saw an operative flying through the air with a jet pack. Jazz took advantage of the fact that she found an underground garage and went inside to hide temporarily, while they decided where to go. Fortunately, after recent events, the place was almost deserted.

- If you had to hide, where would you go? - Vlad asked.

- I don't know… - Tucker said nervously. - Casper High?

- Closed for holidays and with CCTV surveillance. – Vlad said.

- Library? - Sam said.

- I used to go there a lot. - Jazz replied. – They practically have a picture of me in their hallways.

- The club? - Tucker said.

- My parents are members. - Sam said.

- So am I. - Vlad added.

- Danielle's apartment? - Jazz said.

- Visiting my adoptive daughter's house would be the first thing...

Danny muted their voices as he tried to focus and think of a good hiding place. He mentally tackled the situation by person: where would be the last place on earth they would go? For Tucker, a hospital; for Jazz, a sporting event; Vlad, prison; Sam...

- The ghost zone? – Tucker said frustrated.

- And with what portal do you plan to access it? - Sam asked.

- Don't you have more properties? Jazz asked.

- All out of town. - Vlad replied. – But I doubt very much that we can leave now… much less in this truck.

- Yeah, you said that already…

- 945 Lexington Lane on the main.

They all looked at Danny curiously, because until then he hadn't spoken.

- What? - Vlad raised his eyebrow.

- We need a place to hide. – He paused to catch his breath. – 945 Lexington Lane on the main.

- That's… too specific. - Tucker commented. - What's there?

- The last place on earth they would think to look for us. – He said closing his eyes.

- That's not too far from here. – Commented Jazz starting the car again. – You take care of the Guys in White.

Sam looked at Danny, but he just settled into his place with his eyes closed. She reopened the hatch and handed Tucker a gun. As she was returning to her position, she observed that Vlad had extended his hand to her. She looked at him with a raised eyebrow.

- You're going to need all the help you can get. – Vlad rolled his eyes when she looked at him suspiciously. – Like it or not, I'm in the same boat as you.

Sam sighed before looking down at the shelf next to her. She smiled as she found the perfect weapon to give him.

- You gotta be kidding. – Vlad said angrily when he saw what she had given him. - A lipstick?

- Mr. and Mrs. Fenton, do not make my job harder than it is. – L said, watching the handcuffed couple kneeling in front of him outside their house.

- I already told you we didn't know! - Jack yelled.

- Do you expect me to believe that for years you didn't know about you own son's double life? That you, being ghost hunters, never knew about Daniel's powers?

- No! – Maddie exclaimed before keeping silent. – Although that explains a lot of things…- She whispered.

- Where is he going? With what resources...?

- Sir!

L turned around when a technician approached him with a device in his hands.

- We've located the truck. Our airborne agents are already on the chase and operatives K and O already have them targeted on the GPS.

He smiled.

- Great news. - He looked back to the Fentons. – Put their faces on every screen in town. Let the citizens help us capture the fugitives.

- Danny was just trying to help! - Jack yelled.

- Why don't you look for the other ghost? You know… the one who was destroying the city! - Maddie was furious.

- "Trying to help"? "Another Ghost"? – He squatted in front of them. - Is it complicity what I'm hearing?

- It's called common sense!

- Is protecting a murderer common sense? – He took off his glasses and faced Maddie. – Mrs. Fenton… so far, 36 of my friends are on body bags thanks to your son. – He looked hard into her eyes, causing Maddie to tilt her head back a little and look away from her.

- Danny wouldn't dare! - Jack intervened. – I know my son and he would never do something like that!

- You know your son? The same way you knew his secret? - Jack fell silent with the answer. - Yeah. I thought so.

L put his glasses back and stood up.

- Keep them under house arrest. Find any connections their older daughter may have at her work. She may try to contact someone for help.

- Understood.

- Hold the damn car steady, Jasmine!

Jazz ignored Vlad's "suggestion" and slammed on the brakes. Everyone on board jerked and crashed into the seats in front of them. Except Tucker, who crashed into the dashboard.

- What the hell Jazz?! - Sam yelled as he ended up crushing Danny from the sudden move.

- Shut up and shoot them as they turn around! – She stepped on the gas and the vehicle started going in reverse.

The 3 jetpack operatives ended up running past the vehicle, just as Jazz had wanted, and Vlad fired from his window, piercing the stabilizer wings of the operative covering the right flank.

- One down!

- About to be two!

Danny watched Sam get to her feet, grab a gun in her hands, and lean out of the hatch to start unloading it on her target. He couldn't help but be enthralled with the image of his girlfriend at that moment. Her face, illuminated by a green glow each time the weapon fired a bolt, showed anger, but above all, determination. She was focused on what she was doing and ready to execute it. Jazz's lousy driving made her hair fly in the air; the weight of her weapon made her athletic figure stand out and, above all: that skirt...

She would kill him if he knew what he was thinking at a moment like this, but he couldn't help but feel strangely excited to see her like this.

Sam lowered the gun as a shot hit the middle of the operative's backpack to the left, causing him to lose control and fly away erratically. she knelt on the floor of the truck and released the gun to stretch her fingers, the constant motion of the gun firing having stiffened them. She looked up and noticed that Danny was giving her a funny look.

- Danny? She – She called him with a raised eyebrow.

"Wait a minute". She thought. She recognized that look. It was the same one Tucker used when he saw a girl who was moderately…

Danny snapped out of her astonishment when he saw the scowl on Sam's face, and with a deep flush on his face, he quickly looked away. Fortunately for him, at that moment Jazz swerved and the truck turned left, throwing Vlad on top of him. They both grunted in pain and Jazz drove straight ahead again.

- What the hell are you doing, Jasmine?! – Vlad shouted.

- What does it look like I'm doing?! – She pumped the gas even further.

- Killing us? – Tucker said rubbing his forehead.

- You wanted to go to 945 Lexington Lane on the main?! Well, this is the way!

- And why aren't you shooting?! – Sam yelled at Tucker. – There's one left!

- Take care of him! – He said throwing his weapon back and looking for something on the floor of the car.

He ignored Danny's groan as the gun struck him in the head and finally picked up the Tablet from him. He straightened up quickly and put on his seat belt.

- Really?! – Jazz yelled when she looked at him. – It's not time to…!

- Vlad installed cameras all over this area of the city! So, unless you want us to be found… I have to deactivate them!

- Fine! - Sam yelled.

She looked out the window and watched the last operative chasing after them as he fired at the vehicle. She frowned and returned her gaze to the interior of the truck. As she was about to take the gun, she saw that behind her was the Fenton net shooter lying near the back door. She returned her gaze to the front and noted that Vlad was looking at her with understanding in his gaze.

- You open the door and I shoot. – The older man said.

- We need him closer.

- That can be arranged. – He said before looking at the driver. – Jazz, take the turnoff for the underpass when you get to the 5th.

- What? Why? – She answered trying not to get so distracted.

- To get rid of the last crow. - Sam replied.

- No! – Tucker interrupted them without stopping typing. – I will lose signal the moment we enter and I will have to start all over again.

- Tucker, we need to go through…!

- And I need to hack the municipal system of public lighting and surveillance! But I can't do that if we go underground!

- Or you can ask me for the access key to the main system and stop bullshitting! - Vlad yelled at him.

Tucker looked up from his screen and thought for a few seconds.

- Or I could do that. – He whispered.

- Let me know when you enter the main page.

Vlad scrambled to the back to pick up the weapon. He grunted as his shoulder sent a pulse of pain, but he ignored it to sit by the door with the gun across his leg and his finger on the trigger.

- To the underpass it is. – Jazz said to herself.

The car shook a bit due to the unevenness of the streets. When Operative R saw them disappear into the tunnel, he hesitated. He had two options: not go in to wait for them on the other side and risk losing them, or go in and limit his ability to react.

When he faced the entrance, he grunted in frustration and headed into the tunnel. Inside he cursed his decision again: thanks to the cloudiness of the day, he had lost the little sunlight that filtered through some small skylights in the tunnel and with his dark glasses, he had poor visibility. Besides, he couldn't shoot them in the tunnel or it might cause an explosion that would kill him.

- At the count of three I will open...

- I'll move and shoot him. – Vlad completed for Sam.

- Ready? – Vlad nodded. – One, two… three!

Sam pulled the handle and the speed of the car opened the door fully. She stepped aside and Vlad flung himself in front of the door. Using his bad arm to stabilize the weapon, he took aim at the operative and fired. R reacted until he saw the weapon in front of him, but there wasn't much he could do. The net spread out and caught him just as they reached the exit, pinning him against the tunnel's upper wall.

- Break! – Sam yelled.

Jazz slammed on the brakes and they all went flying forward. Vlad fell and hit his head on the floor; Sam went flying and landed on Danny, who screamed from the pain in his ribs; Tucker and Jazz only felt the whiplash of inertia thanks to the seat belt; and Dani rolled off the seat where they had her lying down and fell to the ground. Fortunately, Sam's plan worked and that too had closed the door.

- Speed up! – Vlad exclaimed as he sat back down.

- I'm going to kill you! – Jazz complained in a low voice before stepping on the accelerator again.

Caught in the net, Operative R just sighed and threw his head back.

- I lost them coming out of the main underpass tunnel.

- We'll take it from there. – O's voice said through the communicator.

- And could you send someone to get me down?

- Done! -Tucker exclaimed. – Cameras disabled.

He leaned back fully in his seat and sighed. Within the world of bad news they were drowning in, this was a breath of fresh air.

- Seriously? - Danny said annoyed. - The password is my mom's birthday?

- Well, someone had to remember since Jack won't. – He defended himself and earned a bad look from the siblings.

- I think you have at least one broken rib. – Sam told Danny with concern.

- Yeah… I noticed too.

Sam lowered her face, rubbed her forehead and tossed her hair back, smiling at the attempted joke.

- You're a fool… - She told him tenderly.

- I'm your fool. – He answered her.

- My fool. – She repeated with a smile.

- Please remember that in the next 10 minutes.

Sam looked at him doubtfully, not understanding his comment, but Danny just closed his eyes again.

- Alright, we're almost there. - Jazz announced.

Tucker began to look around the street and noticed something strange.

- Danny… this is a residential neighborhood…

- Yeah. – The blue-eyed boy quickly confirmed.

- And we are sure that whoever lives in that house will shelter us?

Although he had thrown the question into the air, Vlad couldn't help but see Danny, analyzing him to see how honest his answer would be. Danny pressed his back closer to the metal surface of the truck, sighed, and looked up at the ceiling.

- Yeah.

There was something strange in the tone that the blue-eyed had used. He denoted security, yes, but he didn't seem excited or hopeful about the "help" either. If anyone had doubts, no one said anything. After all, it was the only option they had.

- Good. So… We have to do this fast if we don't want someone to see us and give us away. – Jazz said, slowing down as she was close to their target. - Tucker: you will locate the house and you will knock so that whoever lives there will open it for us. Sam, help Danny down. I'll program the automatic Jack to get rid of the truck.

- I'll need help with Danielle. – Vlad said.

- As soon as they open us, I'll take her down. – Tucker assured him.

- Try to take all the weapons you can... we will need them. – Jazz commented.

Tucker and her watched as the distance between the van's current location and its destination, which Tucker's phone indicated, narrowed. In perfect sync, they both removed their seatbelts. Jazz braked and Tucker bolted out of the vehicle, looking for the house. Sam moved away from Danny to open the back doors while Vlad gathered up some small weapons and began to hang them wherever he could.

He tried the house to his right, but the outside number didn't match. He crossed the street and noted the large number 945 on a plaque near the door. He went up the steps and banged on the door and the bell like crazy. Jazz got out of the driver's seat and went to the back, helping Vlad by collecting weapons while Sam moved with Danny slowly so as not to cause him pain. Tucker turned his head to look at his friends, but the left back door of the vehicle blocked his view. He could only see Vlad swaying with many weapons dangling.

- Tucker. – The redhead called him.

- No one has answered!

- Do we even know if there is someone inside? – He heard Vlad whisper.

tucker returned his gaze to the door and began to knock on it again. He stopped his hand just before he banged on it again when he saw the small rug at his feet. It was not very flashy or had anything special, except for one word written in the center.

BIENVENIDOS

- Oh, shit…

The sound of the door opening forced him to look up and he was greeted by a pair of blue eyes that looked at him in utter surprise.

- Tucker! - Jazz yelled. - What's...?

Jazz's eyes widened ass he peeked in to see what was taking Tucker so long and then they quickly looked for Danny's, waiting for an explanation. He just lowered his head and sighed, watching how the first drops of rain began to stain the asphalt.
