The blue glow woke up everyone in Paulina's house, or almost everyone, since Tucker was still snoring in the living room couch. Little by little, the room became populated with everyone who was in the house.
- What was that? - Danny asked.
- It looked like the ghost shield of the house. – Jazz said looking out the window. - But I didn't know it had that much power.
- Why would your parents activate it? - Sam asked.
- Do you think evil Danny escaped? - Paulina asked.
- Well, there are no explosions nor screams, so I doubt it. – Jazz returned to the room with the others.
Vlad's footsteps coming down the stairs made everyone turn to look at him.
- Does this have to do with your plan? - Danny asked seriously.
- It means it worked, yes. – He answered with his hands behind his back. – Better than he expected, actually.
- What did you do? - He asked again.
- All you need to know is that we could be one step ahead of Dan.
- Vlad. - Danny rubbed his temples. – I need you to tell me everything. If we're going to fight together, I need to know that I can trust you.
- You can never trust me, Daniel. – He paused briefly. – But you can trust that I don't want to die at the hands of that monster.
- What did you do with Valerie? - Dani asked irritably.
- She is fine. I left her with Jack and Maddie.
- What? – The siblings replied.
- What does your plan have to do with Axion Labs?
Paulina's question caught everyone off-guard and made everyone turn to look at her. She didn't let herself be bothered by everyone's questioning looks and kept her serious expression. Vlad raised an eyebrow.
- Nothing at all. Why?
- The glow had 2 origins in opposite parts of the city. If what happened was that shield you're talking about, the point in the east would be Danny's house...
- How do you know I live in the east? - Danny whispered curiously.
- How do you know where east is? - Sam asked.
Paulina just rolled her eyes.
- In the west, outside of Amity Park, the only place that could have technology like the Fentons' is the lab.
- Then… I'm afraid something we don't know is going on.
- Do we have to go investigate? – Dani asked rubbing an eye.
- No. – Vlad sentenced. – We must rest to be able to fight tomorrow.
- But what if...?
- Vlad is right. - Danny said. – Now that the shield is over the entire city, we can be a little calmer.
- In addition to the fact that they are still looking for you. – Paulina completed.
They all agreed to go back to sleep, now more calmly. Without the need to make guards, they had to spread out among the rooms. Tucker wouldn't move from his place (because he hadn't even gotten up), Paulina would sleep in her room with Dani, Jazz would sleep with her brother in the guest room, and Sam would stay in the living room.
The dream came to everyone quickly and since no one stayed to monitor the media, they missed K's emergency broadcast.
- …It's extremely dangerous. However, we have made a concerted effort with Axion Labs to keep the city safe. The flash of blue light that was visible a few minutes ago was our doing, due the activation the ghost shield. Telling you that there is nothing to worry about would be a gross simplification, but we will continue to inform you of the situation so that…
Dan was looking at the photo of him on the giant screen near Amity Park City Hall from a distance. He had decided to quickly visit the human plane to see if he could decipher the plan that Vlad had executed by visiting him, but he ended up running into the transmission of the operative. He found it pathetic that he wore a bloodstained suit to get sympathy from viewers. Although that left him well off.
He slowly flew towards the city until he ended up bumping into the shield, which was now invisible. He rested his right hand on top of it, making visible a small shard whose glow intensified as he applied force to it. If that had been Vlad's plan, he would let him have the temporary satisfaction of believing it had been a success.
He smiled as he thought about how to respond to those taunts. Many big and violent ideas ran through his head before he decided on a course of action. He removed his hand from the shield's surface and created a portal to return to the ghost zone. True to what he had told Amorpho, he decided to show mercy to the humans and was not going to eliminate them now. He would give them one last night of peace before killing them all.
Before entering the portal, he took one last look at his image and paid attention to what K was saying.
- ... For now, we have the situation under control. But we must remain vigilant, all of us.
Tucker woke up with an impetuous need to go to the bathroom. Half asleep, he looked around him to remember where he was and stood up to walk to the bathroom. When he finished his deed, he took a brief moment after washing his hands to make himself more presentable. He rinsed his face, wet his hair to fix and shape it, and though he didn't have a toothbrush with him, he put some toothpaste on his finger and rubbed it against his teeth.
When he was satisfied with the result, he left the bathroom and went into the living room. He fixed the couch where he had slept as best as he could and decided to go to the kitchen to check the news of what he had missed. There wasn't much light filtering through the window, so he could tell that it was still early. He yawned as he turned on the computer and looked at Sam asleep in the living room. The idea of pranking her to wake her up crossed his mind for a fleeting moment, but he dismissed the idea, remembering that she was still wearing boots.
He returned his attention to the screen and refreshed all the pages on which he was consulting information. His face went from lethargy to surprise and from surprise to panic. He took the laptop in his hands and ran into the living room. He shook Sam awake violently.
- Tuck… - She complained when she saw him. – When I wake up, I'm going to kill you. – She said sleepily.
- I think you'll have to stand in line.
- What?
Tucker placed the laptop screen in front of her, forcing her back from the closeness and the intense glow it emitted. She narrowed her eyes until she got used to the brightness and she was finally able to read the note Tucker was showing her. She ended up waking up to see Dan's picture posted on the internet. She quickly looked at her friend and recognized the same expression on her face.
- We need to tell Danny.
- We need to tell everyone. – Tucker corrected her.
- Tell me what?
Danny was walking out of the hallway rubbing his eyes and yawning. Although he wasn't such a light sleeper, Tucker hadn't been so discreet in his run into the living room and had knocked over a chair, which he ended up making a noise by dragging a leg of it. He stopped when he saw Sam and Tucker looking at him with concern. His face was graced with a look of genuine curiosity that, were it not for the circumstances, Sam would find very adorable.
- Did someone die or why do you look at me like that? – Danny's innocent comment met with the seriousness of both.
- In fact… - Tucker handed him the laptop. - Yeah.
Danny's features hardened at that and he began to read the article. Seconds later, he handed the boy the laptop back and thought for a while.
- Let's get everyone together. We have to move.
Trash woke up before everyone else in the lab. After the chaos generated by the activation of the shields, they had chosen to shut down the portal until their plan was ready to be executed. He stretched a bit before walking over to where O was sleeping. Cautiously, he removed the locator from his chest and watched it up close. The device was the size of a large dinner plate; the switch was in "Ghost Zone" and on the small screen there was a purple dot. According to them, it was the real-time location of this "Dan".
Certainly, the evidence was too much to ignore, but he still had reservations about the tracker's veracity. Vlad Masters had turned out to be a person un worthy of trust, a two face of the worst kind who would do anything to get his way... And yet, he seemed to be helping them.
He fought along with Danny Phantom and the other girl against Dan downtown, yes. But the day before he had fled the city, not counting the many crimes his ghost alter ego had been involved in and the ones that were still uncovered.
It could be a trap, a way to buy time while he was looking for a way to get rid of everything that awaited him... or, it could be a genuine interest in helping. But what would have encouraged the change so suddenly?
And worst of all, the poor girl he'd adopted… she must be going through hell. As far as he knew, the girl was missing, probably hiding from public scrutiny. Even wishing she had never been adopted by that lunatic. A beep brought him back to the present and he narrowed his eyes when he saw that the purple dot was gone. He smacked the back of the object to see if he would make it show the point again, shook it a bit, and then realized something.
Warily, he flicked the Switch to "Real World" and the screen beeped again. He was blank for a few seconds, until the map on the screen began to zoom out and he stopped when he detected the purple dot. The device worked like a GPS when set up in the real world and like a radar in the ghost zone, so getting the exact location wouldn't be a problem. Even if they hurried, they weren't the closest group to Dan's current location.
He ran to the communication board to establish a connection with the group in Axion Labs. While the call was on hold, O was awakened by the light from the screen illuminating his face.
- What's going on? – He asked rubbing his neck. Sleeping in a chair was very uncomfortable.
At that moment, someone on the other end of the line picked up the call. He was one of the Guys in White who had accompanied Maddie and Valerie.
- The target has moved. – He said in a serious tone.
- What? – The person on the screen said.
- He left the ghost zone and is now on the outskirts of the city. – He said showing the radar to the camera.
- Give me the location and I'll assemble a scouting party quickly. – He replied.
- We will send reinforcements to Axion. We cannot neglect the shields. – O added.
- I'll open a communication channel when we're close. – The operative replied. – In the meantime, find out how he got out of the ghost zone if the portal is closed. Over and out.
The transmission ended and both men looked at each other.
- Wake everyone up. We have to move. Now.
O left the lab to take care of mobilizing the people on the upper levels, while Trash took care of those below.
Two vehicles parked near the edge of the ghost shield. All crewmen climbed down with weapons in hand and approached Dan, who had his back to them outside the shield. The ghost was genuinely surprised that they found him, but he returned to his serious state as he remembered that they could use ghost detectors. Within the crowd of white suits, he managed to make out 3 figures: Valerie, Maddie and K. Dan smiled as they all pointed their guns at him.
- Early birds. – He said putting his full attention on them.
The aforementioned three walked to the front to face him.
- How did you escape from the ghost zone?
- What are you doing here?
- What are you planning, monster?
Dan ignored their questions and the looks he was receiving courtesy of the multiple operatives present. Although the shots from their weapons could pass through the shield, he knew that none of them would pull the trigger. It was too aggressive a move when they were clearly playing defense. That's why he decided to ignore them and focus on only those 3.
- This is just like old times... isn't it, Val?
Dan ran his right hand across the surface of the shield, tracing lines that were marked by dragging the metal claw on his fingertips. The girl, as was almost customary, was not using her helmet. That got Dan's attention, since no one around him seemed to have a problem with a teenager playing with adults. Either her identity was known (as in her future) or there was something he was ignoring.
- I don't know what you're talking about, Mons…
- Of course not. How could you? – He stopped his movement. – The you that I remember does not exist…never existed.
- Answer us, ghost! – Maddie said losing her calm. - How did you escape from the ghost zone?
Dan smiled at her and narrowed his eyes.
- Is that a proper way to talk to your boy? – He pretended to feel offended. – With that attitude, I'm not surprised how I ended up.
- You are not…! Don't try to confuse me!
Dan smiled as he successfully provoked the person who had once been his mother.
- Mrs. Fenton, don't fall for his provocations. – K said.
Dan stared at the bald man.
- I see you changed. - He crossed his arms behind his back. – But not before addressing the entire city. Morbidity and tragedy attract humans like moths to a fire...
- I will not be part of your games...
- But you are already part of them. I'm sure Daniel already heard your pathetic cry for help...
- Were you here last night? – K backed away unconsciously.
Dan took the opportunity to stick as close as possible to the shield to continue talking.
- And thanks to his absurd sense of duty, now he must be looking for me out there. – He snorted. – You said you wouldn't help me, and yet you sent Daniel straight to me. Like a sheep to the slaughterhouse...
- You lie! - Maddie yelled raising her gun.
- Really? - He raised an eyebrow. - Why don't you deactivate the shield and we'll see what happens then?
- You would like that, wouldn't you? - Valerie said. – That we let you in.
- Do you think this keeps you safe? – He said curiously, resting his right hand on the shield. - Do you think this can stop me?
Dan clenched his left fist and rested the ring against the shield. He started to apply a little pressure and cracks started to appear on the blue surface. Without taking his eyes off Valerie, he applied more pressure and the cracks began to expand far and wide, making the protection visible. They all backed away when they saw the shield begin to give in and followed the path of the cracks with their eyes. Satisfied with the reaction, he removed his fist from the shield and the barrier once again became invisible.
- I can destroy your defenses in a second, if I wanted to.
- And why haven't you done it? - Valerie asked.
- Where is the fun in that? - He asked smiling. – No… I already did that in the past. Now I want to try something new.
In that moment, descending from the sky, the Fright Knight appeared. Although they kept pointing guns at him, he had nothing to worry about, so Dan focused on his servant.
- It's done. – He said bowing his head.
- Excellent. It's time for the next phase.
Both ghosts looked towards the humans, who place their fingers on the triggers of their weapons, which began to emit sounds as they began to charge with energy. Simultaneously, the Fright Knight handed his sword to Dan and he plunged it hard into the ground in front of the shield. Memories flashed across Valerie's face as she watched that, but before anything happened, both ghosts began to disappear, going up in flames.
- See you soon. – Dan said before disappearing completely.
They all lowered their weapons and released the breath they were holding. K and Valerie turned to watch as Maddie walked forward. Her thoughts were in disarray from their recent interaction. In a weird, twisted way, Dan was her child. Or had been. And that scared her. What had happened to her Danny to end up like this? And what prevented it from happening again?
Her thoughts were interrupted when Valerie spoke.
- Nobody touches that sword. Let alone extract it.
- Why?
- That's what transported Amity Park to the Ghost Zone in the past.
K turned around and talked to one of the men behind him.
- Assign a couple of men to guard the sword. No one, human or ghost, approaches that object... and in any case, let them watch from inside the shield.
- Understood. – He said nodding his head.
- What if he comes back? - Maddie asked.
- Run. – He said after a brief pause. – The rest, to the cars. We have to regroup at Axion.
Valerie walked quietly to the vehicle. In her mind, the dilemma of telling the truth about Danny's location resurfaced. She had previously decided not to expose them because of Danielle and a little because of Paulina, but now she had to do it to prevent them from going directly after Dan. It was either that, or hope that Vlad was smart enough to see through Dan's tactics. It was a flip of a coin that she didn't want to flip.
- It is a trap.
- It's not Dan demanding our head, it's them realizing that this is beyond them and asking for our help. - Danny said.
- And that's why I know it's a trap. – Vlad clarified.
- And how can you be so sure?
- Because it's something I would do. I did, in fact, with Valerie.
Danny lowered his head thoughtfully while Dani rubbed his temples. The news that the Guys in White were publicly requesting his help to deal with a ghost improved his previous image as a criminal... but the blue-eyed man wasn't sure if they should help them.
- So, what do you suggest? – Dani was still upset with him, but the situation called for her to put her anger aside.
- Me? Run away and hide. But I think that ship sailed long ago.
Dani growled angrily and looked at Danny.
- Tell him something!
Danny looked at her "cousin" and then at Vlad. He crossed his arms and sighed. He was leaning on the arm of the armchair in the living room and decided to stand up to look at the others, who were standing near the kitchen and the stairs.
- Guys, could you give us some privacy? – He turned to see the halfas. – You, come with me.
Without waiting to see if he was being followed, Danny walked toward the guest room. The girl was the first to follow him and then Vlad joined them. Sam and Tucker shared a concerned look.
- Why do they want privacy? – Jazz asked them.
- Because they probably want to do something very stupid. - Sam said crossing her arms.
In the room, Danny was sitting on the edge of the bed when the other two entered.
- 21 years old and you still don't make the bed? – Dani joked, but no one followed the story.
- So? - Vlad crossed his arms.
Danny was silent for a few seconds before speaking.
- I think... it's better that we continue doing this alone.
- You are kidding, right? – I ask Dani incredulous.
- Just listen to me…
- No, Danny… - She said firmly, but in a low voice so as not to be heard outside the room. – We have reinforcements. For the first time, we are not alone and you want to keep flying solo? Why? To…?
- To keep them safe. – Danny looked at her seriously in the eyes. – We can beat the Guys in White any day… even Valerie can. But yesterday… Dan was playing with us and look what he did to us. Now what do you think will happen to Jazz if he tries to attack him? Or Sam, Tucker, Valerie, my parents… whoever goes against him?
- Danny...
- They said that we were the best option to protect the city and I believe that. But having them in the fight as well would only be a…distraction.
- We will die. – Said Vlad, who had remained silent the whole time.
- Probably. - Danny turned to see him. – But they will live.
- Not for long.
- But at least that way they will have the opportunity to help other people.
The three of them were silent, the weight of Danny's words settling in their heads.
- What would be the plan then? – Dani said after a while.
Danny covered his mouth with both hands as he thought.
- We need to make them reinforce the shield. That will keep everyone busy.
- Meanwhile, Dan will be killing us. – Vlad ironized.
- Our job will be to distract him... buy them time to protect the city.
- But it's a possibility. - Dani spoke. – What Vlad said.
- Yeah. – He sighed.
Dani wiped the sweat from his hands while Vlad stared at a point on the ground.
- And what do we tell them?
- That we are going to cooperate with the Guys in White. - Danny stood up. – We need them to stay safe.
Dani nodded and clasped both hands together, then turned and walked out of the room. Vlad was next, but when he was about to take the first step out of the room, Danny grabbed his arm. He turned his head to look at him and only raised his eyebrow instead of asking the obvious question.
- If the time comes and I have to decide to save someone... I'm going to choose her.
There was no mistaking the seriousness in Daniel's tone and gaze. But Vlad didn't need to hear the obvious. Instead of answering him, he just nodded slightly and the boy released him, allowing him to leave the room.
With everyone in the room, Tucker opened up the conversation.
- So?
- We decided that we should meet with the Guys in White. We'll need all the help we can get. - Danny said.
His friends and sister sighed and smiled.
- I knew you would make the right decision. - Jazz said. – Sticking together is the best strategy.
Danny smiled sheepishly at his sister, feeling bad for lying to her like that.
- And what happened to the "it's a trap" thing? - Tucker asked.
- I was outvoted. – Vlad answered bored.
- And what is the plan? - Sam asked.
- Well, first we must find them.
- That's easy. Just fly across the city and they'll be there in minutes. - Tucker added with a smile.
- Umm… - Dani scratched the back of her neck. - We were thinking of something more discreet. I mean, that wouldn't just attract their attention, you know? Something like…
- Let one of you go as an emissary. - Vlad interrupted. – They may be desperate, but we need certainty that they won't apprehend us when they see us.
- That sounds… reasonable. - Jazz said.
- We have 2 hours before Dan's ultimatum ends, so we have to decide what to do.
- Before that… - Tucker interrupted him. - Could we take a shower?
Jazz had been chosen to serve as an emissary between them and the Guys in White. According to the logic exposed by Paulina, she was the safest bet since Sam (thanks to her peculiar clothing) would not go unnoticed. She had been given a hat that would cover her hair and that would be enough to make her go unnoticed. Vlad told her that her house was guarded by the Guys in White, so she should go there to negotiate on their behalf.
While she was doing that, Tucker had been sent to Axion Labs to do the same, taking advantage of the company director's interest in employing him and with the intention of gathering as much information as possible. Both had gone out with their cell phones turned off; once they reached their destination and established contact with their targets, they would turn them on and communicate with Paulina, who would give them the green light to leave.
What they hadn't been told was that it had only been a ruse to put Jazz in the safety of her house and Tucker working on upgrading Axion's shields, leaving Sam at a numerical disadvantage against the 3 halfas. Paulina wouldn't be a challenge and with a little distraction from Danny, they could take Sam's syringes from her and leave her in the safety of Paulina's house. Or what could be of security between those 2.
There were a few minutes left until 10 in the morning and they still had no confirmation from Jazz or Tucker. However, what made Danny nervous was that he had to lie to them and knock out his girlfriend in order to leave without resistance. If it wasn't something tragic, he was sure he would find it very funny: he spent years waiting for the "perfect" opportunity for her to finally be with him, and when he had it, the world was about to end. Or at least his world.
He reacted when he realized Sam was looking at him. Not with curiosity or concern, but with understanding.
- What? – He asked and she just smiled at him.
- Don't worry. Everything will be fine.
Danny smiled and pulled her to her chest to hug her. Vlad rolled his eyes, Dani looked away due to the awkwardness of the situation and Paulina... did what she could to not even turn to see them. Seeking to relax, he closed his eyes and breathed in Sam's scent. However, instead of breathing in the scent that he loved, he ended up detecting a scent that was familiar to him, but he didn't associate with his girlfriend. He slowly opened her eyes and pulled her away to see her with a curious face.
At first, Sam was puzzled by Danny's reaction until she understood the reason why he had done that.
- I had to use her shampoo. - She said pointing to the Latina with her head.
- You are welcome. – Paulina ironized.
The Latina was sitting in her kitchen dining room watching all the news that appeared regarding her "guests". The others were standing behind her, waiting for Paulina's phone to ring and for verbal confirmation that they were both in position. Jazz was the first to make contact.
The redhead sent the message when she was one block from her house. No one had recognized her, partly thanks to the fact that everyone on the street walked with their sight attached to their phones. She looked at the two agents guarding the door of her house and sighed before heading towards them. When she managed to make eye contact with both of them, she stopped and removed her hat to be more easily recognized.
- Jasmine Fenton. – An operative said walking towards her and taking a weapon from his back.
- I need to talk to your boss. - She said raising both hands in the air.
- Inside. – He said as he pointed the gun at her.
The girl walked towards the door, with both hands behind her neck as the operative guided her at point gun into her house. The second agent only opened the door for them. Jazz walked inside where she found her living room full of operatives aiming at her. A woman in a suit rushed up to her and began searching her.
- I said I want to talk to your boss. – She didn't hide her annoyance.
- And you will. – The woman said while she took the phone that was in her pocket. - Eventually.
- Hey, that's…
- She's clean. Keep her under observation.
- Hey!
Two men took her from her arms and began to drag her towards the kitchen.
- Hey! I've told you that…!
- Notify O about her. – Another man said before looking at the operative who had the phone in her hand. – Communicate with whoever is on the other side of that line.
- Understood.
Suddenly, a great sound was heard throughout the city accompanied by a green glow that filtered through every window of the house. Looking at the electronic devices, they noted that there was no internet access or satellite reception. All attempts to communicate with the group at Axion Labs failed.
In the kitchen, Jazz stood up and turned on the TV, but only static was visible on the screen. Taking advantage of the chaos that had been generated, she walked to the front door without meeting any kind of resistance and looked down the street. Her neighbors had also come out and people passing by had stopped, some had even gotten out of their vehicles and were looking up. She noticed that the two operatives at the door of her house were also looking up. She imitated them and discovered the green dome that adorned the sky.
Vlad tapped his foot on Danny's ankle to get his attention. When the blue-eyed man turned to see him, Vlad discreetly pointed to the watch on his wrist to announce that it was time. Danny looked at her cousin, who was biting her thumbnail, and nodded. Vlad got closer to Paulina's back to cover Sam's visibility while Dani made her hand intangible and got closer to the Latina. For his part, Danny tightened his hold on Sam, ready to pin her down.
However, a strange sound caught everyone's attention, forcing them to look out the window. As Sam broke away from Danny to walk to the kitchen window, a bright green glow came over her. Danny pulled her back and opened the curtains. On the street, people began to come out of their houses and stop in the middle of the street to look at the sky. When he did the same, he frowned as he saw a ghostly dome formed, apparently, over the entire city.
- I lost it.
Paulina's voice made everyone look back inside.
- What? - Vlad asked.
- Everything. – She answered showing them the computer. – Internet, phone reception… everything.
- He's isolating us. - Danny commented.
- Can he do that? - Dani asked Vlad.
- He already did.
- And now what? – Sam looked at everyone in search of answers.
Danny's gaze traveled to Vlad and then to Sam.
- I don't know.
After sending his message, Tucker put the phone away and took off his jacket. He tossed it onto the barbed wire that rested on top of the fence that delimited the green area of the laboratories. With much effort, he scaled the fence and crossed inside. He knew he'd been caught on the perimeter cameras, so he'd have to hurry up and look for a familiar face if he didn't want to get arrested or worse, shot.
He ran to the back entrance and pushed open the glass door to enter. When he found the path that led to the stairs, he ran towards it. However, the moment he entered the main hallway, he was tackled by a Guy in White operative and many others appeared to surround him while pointing guns at him.
- Let me go! I thought you wanted help!
- Tucker Foley. – The operative that knocked him down recognized him while handcuffing him. – Your presence is…
- Leave him alone.
They both looked up to see K making his way through the crowd of operatives, followed by people Tucker recognized and knew. The operative stood him up while he removed the handcuffs.
- Tucker!
The Fentons shouted as Maddie ran up to him and hugged him.
- Danny? - She whispered in his ear.
- He's fine. – He answered her before she moved away from him.
Tucker watched her walk away from him and then his gaze fell on the person clad in red.
- Val?
He was surprised to find her there. Vlad said that he had dropped her off at the Fenton's, so it made sense that she would be there with them. What didn't make sense was what they were doing with the Guys in White. With his gaze, he tried to convey all his doubts and questions, but the girl kept her serious features and decided to ignore him.
- Mr. Foley... - K said, approaching him. - We need to talk.
- That's why I came.
- Where is Daniel Fenton and Vlad Masters?
- First, I need guarantees that they will not be arrested, detained and/or subjected to physical punishment at the time of their appearance.
- Now is not the time to make demands, kid.
- These are not my demands... old man. – He said standing up straighter. – These are the conditions that they set for…
Tucker stopped speaking when his ears caught a noise. He looked at the others curiously and saw that they also had the same reaction as him.
- You hear that? - Jack asked.
- Sir…!
K pressed the communicator in his ear to try to hear what was being said, but he could only pick up static. Seconds later, a green glow lit up the entire sky. Valerie, who was at the back of the group, walked to the front door and opened it to see what was happening. A green dome had formed over the sky and seemed to encompass the entirety of Amity Park. She ran back with the others and shouted:
- The sword!
