Before Sunrise

"Jesus, this ice cream is awful!" he says, after tasting the Chunky Monkeys.

Donna takes it along with the spoon. "I can finish it on my own."

"Alright," he shrugs. Donna eats some more ice cream, looking at him. "Is it good?"

"Yes, it's really good for me."

"Write this down on the list of things I do for you."

"Mhm..." she says, eating more ice cream. "You can go get something else to eat."

"Not really. I'm really glad to be here." He says and rests his head on her shoulder.

"Me too, but at some point, I'll have to put this back in the kitchen."

"Finish it quickly then."

"Help me."

"And you wanted two jars?"

She giggles. "Sorry." She says and feeds him a spoonful of ice cream.

"Come on, I'm not a child."

"But it's romantic." She says with a goofy lovesick smile on her face.

"Is it?"

Donna shrugs. "At least in movies."

Harvey smiles. "Are you a romantic movie woman?"

"Sometimes..."

"I didn't know this about you."

"Because the only movie we watched together was Rocky." She snorts.

"Okay, our second movie together will be a romantic one."

"With this ice cream?"

"Hell, no!"

Donna giggles. "I'll leave it in the freezer, look for the chocolates I bought yesterday, and we can watch a movie."

"Okay, I'm in."

"Good." She kisses him and gets up.

A few minutes later, they're back on the bed, watching the beginning of Before Sunrise. Harvey opens one of the chocolates and offers her a piece in her mouth.

"You're being romantic too?" She smiles and takes a bite of the chocolate.

"Trying." He murmurs and bites a piece of the chocolate. "It's so much better than this ice cream,"

She rolls her eyes and snuggles up to him, resting her head on his shoulder. "I love this movie."

He eats the other piece of chocolate and hugs her. "Do you?"

"Yes, it's one of my favorites."

"So... We're going to watch it so many times."

"I mean... If that's what you want..." she says a little insecurely.

"I think we promised something a few minutes ago."

She smiles. "I know."

"We're going to watch this movie and Rocky until we can recite the scenes by heart while watching them."

"I can do that with this."

"And I can do that with Rocky."

"Okay, so pay attention and start memorizing, because there are three movies."

"You didn't say that! Cheater!"

"Excuse me, sir, how many Rocky movies are there?"

"Mhm..."

"Yes, exactly what I thought." She snuggles up even more to him. "Pay attention and keep in your memory all the places where you're going to take me."

"I'll take you everywhere you want, I promise." He kisses her head and finally focuses on the movie.
