Cuddling

Donna says goodbye to Samantha at the entrance of the bar where they had gone for a few drinks. When she gets into the cab that will take her home, perhaps due to the alcohol or subconsciously, she gives the taxi driver the address of Harvey's condo. She doesn't contradict herself. It's fine; her subconscious has made the choice. And it's a very good choice.

Upon entering Harvey's place, she takes off all her clothes except for her underwear and leaves everything on the sofa to avoid making noise when entering the room. She feels too awkward and dizzy to do anything with Harvey sleeping so close. The alcohol coursing through her veins prevents her from even considering the possibility of going to the bathroom to remove her makeup or brush her teeth. Instead, she quietly slips into bed and embraces Harvey, becoming the big spoon.

He purrs and intertwines his hand with hers as he opens one eye to check the time. "You come to my place at 2 in the morning just to snuggle?" he murmurs hoarsely, a smile playing on his lips. She stammers something that sounds like a yes, and that's when Harvey confirms her suspicion: Donna has had more drinks than she should have. "Do you want me to make you a coffee?" he offers.

"No," she replies, still stammering. "I just wanna sleep with you."

"Okay," he replies, kissing her hand and turning towards her, so she can snuggle against him as he wraps himself around her. "Rest before the hangover hits you."

"Hangover for what?" she growls.

He giggles. "Nothing, just sleep," he responds, placing a kiss on her head as he feels her relax against his body.
