The ride home was relatively quiet. I wanted badly to bombard Edward with questions. But the look on his face suggested that he wasn't in the headspace for an interrogation. I didn't want to overwhelm him, or stress him out any farther than he already was. It killed me, but I remained quiet and kept topics light and casual. Although, I'm sure we are both aware that we eventually would have to have the conversation of what all happened today. The meeting with Esme and Felix's fate, I had a lot of questions. The supernatural world that I had fallen into was dangerous. That was becoming more and more painfully obvious. But I didn't hold onto any fears. Not with Edward here at my side. I only wished that I could be of more use to him. He had such a stressful job. I'd do anything to lessen the workload for him. But I was limited. I didn't have any special abilities or powers. I was just human.

And once again, I found myself completely forgetting the most important thing. Ana was still counting on me. Yes, I have a wonderful and exciting new life. But I had to remember the reason I'm here in Boswel. It wasn't to fall in love. It wasn't to completely entangle myself into another mysterious world. I was here to make money for my sister. Until she is healed, I needed to focus.

We made it back to the apartment in record time, Edward appeared to have recollected his composure. A small smile pulled at his lips as we ascended the stairs up to my apartment. But as we began down the hall I almost stopped in my tracks at the sight of Rosalie leaning against the door to my apartment.

Great. What could she possibly want? I had given her rent for this month. Maybe she was here to complain, I had told her only a few days ago that I no longer wanted to work for her. The cleaning job was tedious and pointless now that I had a job that made significant money.

Edward seemed to pick up on my apprehension. A small frown came to his face as we approached her. He eyed Rosalie for a moment with disinterest, ignoring the suggestive smirk that came to her face.

"Miss Swan, who is this dashing young man, he isn't possibly a boyfriend by chance." Rosalie fluttered her eyes. She curled a finger through her hair which for once she had allowed to fall down over her shoulders. I was so used to seeing her hair pulled up, she almost looked like a different person.

I glanced at Edward for a second, deliberating what I should say. To call him my boyfriend… it didn't feel quite right. He was more than that. It didn't sum up how deeply I felt for him. But I'm sure Rosalie wouldn't understand something like that. The dynamic of my relationship with Edward was more complex. Something ingrained in my very soul.

"Um, yeah we are dating," My cheeks warmed as I noticed a smirk on Edward's face. He didn't speak, but it was clear that this had amused him. "Anyway, what can I do for you?"

Rosalie looked me over from head to toe for a minute, taking note of my clothing. "I don't think I've ever seen you wear a dress. You clean up quite nicely. I'm assuming you've lucked into a business to work in. Delightful." She completely ignored my question, and her tone was incredibly patronizing.

"Yeah, I just finished my first week at this new job."

Rosalie rolled her eyes, not seeming impressed. "I'm just here to spread the news to all the tenants, a generous offer has been made to purchase this building. So effective immediately this place is under new management. You will be receiving a new lease within the month." Rosalie's tone turned more cheerful now. I've honestly never seen her in such a good mood. She must have been offered a decent amount of money, I never thought she would be willing to sell this place.

"So rent for the next month won't be going to you. Who will I be making payments towards… I mean will we get to meet the new owner?"

"I didn't catch his name, but yes, he did mention he would be making an appearance to introduce himself to everyone." Rosalie shrugged her shoulders. "This is the last day you'll see me, so you will have to speak with him about the rent for next month."

This was all so sudden. I still couldn't quite believe it. I never really got along with Rosalie. She was insufferable to be around, but she really was more lenient than she had to me when it came to my rent being late. She knew about my financial struggles and even though she would chew me out for my late payments, she never threatened to kick me out. For that, I was thankful.

"Well, it's sad to see you go. I really appreciate everything you did for me this past year." I said holding my hand out to her hesitantly.

She glanced at my hand with a rueful smile. "I wish I could say it's been a pleasure. Goodbye Miss Swan, I do hope you manage to get your life together." With that she turned abruptly on her heels and walked away. She lifted her chin up, completely ignoring my outstretched. I expected this, so her actions didn't even bother me.

Edward on the other hand seemed highly irate. "She's despicable. A truly miserable woman." He said as I unlocked the door to the apartment.

"That's just how she is. Thankfully I won't have to deal with her anymore." I sighed as we made our way inside. Instantly I kicked off my heels. My feet ached from wearing them. But I was representing Edward while I was working for his company. I didn't want to make him look bad. I would dress the part. Even though I didn't like it.

"I'm getting out of this dress," I sighed deeply as I pulled my hair band out, letting my curls fall down past my shoulders.

Edward moved behind me, I could feel his breath against my neck as his hands explored my body. I closed my eyes, letting my head fall back against his chest. Electricity flew down my body at his touch. Slowly, he unzipped the back of my dress.

"Allow me to help with that," His lips were right at my neck, leaving warm kisses down to my shoulder.

I trembled at his touch, enjoying every second of this. Slowly he peeled the dress off me and gently turned me around to face him. His eyes roamed my every curve for a moment, a devilish grin coming to his face.

In a matter of seconds our mouths and bodies clashed together with some force. The heat was rising quickly, pleasure and bliss enveloped us as Edward began carrying me towards the bedroom. Our lips didn't part for a moment, even as I felt my back pressing into the mattress. His eyes were scorching emerald. A seductive smirk pulled at his lips as he watched down at me. He left a trail of kisses lightly down the marking he had placed on me.

"Bella," He spoke in a hushed voice.

I breathed heavily as I watched him. "Hmm?"

"I want this to be forever."

My heart squeezed tightly in my chest, I couldn't hold back my immense joy at that statement. Dizzily I nodded my head in agreement. "I do too."

Edward adjusted himself above me, slowly entering me. Instinctually I let out a throaty gasp as my arms went to his back. I tried rocking my hips up against him, but he forced me still, pushing his hips down harder. His dark eyes watched down at me, his breathing became uneven as he met each of my desperate thrusts.

"Will you be mine, forever?" His lips were against my ear as his hand reached down to my breast, squeezing it gently.

My back arched against the pleasure. "I'm yours."

A breathtaking smile lit up Edward's face and as we continued enjoying ourselves, all the stress that's been building up from today all seemed to melt away. Making love with Edward was completely different than anything I've ever experienced with someone else. It wasn't mindless sex. There was meaning to every touch, every kiss. I couldn't imagine my life without meeting him. I felt complete when I was trapped in his embrace. The world went silent when we were together, nothing else mattered.
