Day 1

The first ray of morning light gently caressed the island, painting an idyllic landscape in golden hues. The waves of the sea danced gracefully, breaking softly against the bright beach sand. The hypnotizing sound of this meeting between water and land harmoniously mixed with the sweet song of seagulls soaring through the blue sky. A coastal breeze caressed the atmosphere, whispering softly to all those who sensed it, as if carrying a message of tranquility and serenity.

In this tropical paradise, the radiant sun rose majestically, bathing every corner of the island in its warm glow. Even rays of light filtered through the tiny cracks in Sora's room curtains, filling it with shimmering flashes dancing in the dimness. In absolute silence, the place seemed immersed in a deep slumber, waiting to be awakened by the sounds and emotions of the new day.

The room's door opened delicately, as if wanting to respect the prevailing calm. Riku, sent by Kairi, entered the room, his presence barely perceptible. His mission was to wake up Sora, who had decided not to join the others in the dining area for breakfast together. Riku hoped his friend hadn't succumbed to the temptation of staying up late.

With utmost caution, Riku stepped into the dark room, moving confidently to avoid any obstacles that might stand in his way. The atmosphere was charged with anticipation as the young man advanced towards the right side of the bed, where a lump under the covers that enveloped Sora was distinguishable. The figure was clearly recognizable as that of his friend.

"Hey, Sora, it's time for breakfast," whispered Riku while gently poking the lump in the bed with his index finger, trying to rouse the slacker who was deeply immersed in sleep.

A faint murmur escaped from under the sheets, a sleepy grumble that was barely audible. Riku sighed, resigned to the lack of response, but he was not willing to give up so easily.

"Sora, wake up already," huffed Riku, this time shaking the lump with his right palm, applying a slightly more vigorous force to wake the boy. Determination shone in Riku's eyes as he continued his attempts to rouse his friend from his morning lethargy.

Faster and faster, Riku shook the lump, and as he did, the grumbles grew more intense, indicating Sora's growing annoyance. However, Riku didn't stop. No matter how much he grumbled, Sora had to get up and join the rest of the group for breakfast. Riku stood his ground, determined not to yield to the complaints of the sleepyhead.

After a few seconds that felt like eternity, Riku noticed how the lump under the sheets began to stir and rise slowly. A sigh of relief escaped Riku's lips as he stopped touching and crossed his arms, expectant of Sora's imminent appearance. However, his surprise was immense when, upon opening his eyes, he was met with a figure that definitely wasn't his friend.

"What do you want? Can't you see I'm sleeping?" Aqua's sleepy and feminine voice resonated throughout the room, filled with annoyance at being interrupted in her rest. Her eyes half-opened, still adjusting to the faint light that filled the room. Her hair, tangled and disheveled, gave her a daring yet tender appearance. Additionally, she was wearing Sora's jacket, which curiously reached her thighs, adding an even more peculiar touch.

"Aqua?" Riku said the girl's name, puzzled by her unexpected presence. He observed as she rubbed her right eye with her right hand, while her left hand remained resting on Sora's chest, who still slept peacefully beneath her.

"What do you need, Riku?" Aqua asked, staring at the boy in front of her.

"Wh-What...? What are you doing here?" Riku stammered, trying to find a logical explanation for Aqua's presence. As far as he remembered, she hadn't been on Destiny Islands the night before, nor in the morning, afternoon, or evening. So how had she ended up there?

"I arrived last night," Aqua murmured, still sleepy. She really didn't feel like giving explanations at that moment. She had spent so many sleepless nights that she simply wanted to return to sleep as soon as possible.

"Why?" Riku inquired further, seeking answers.

"I'll tell you later, okay?" Aqua responded kindly as she moved down to Sora's torso and snuggled up to him, hugging him.

"Let me sleep a little more with my boyfriend..." Aqua concluded in a murmur, closing her eyes again to enjoy a few more precious moments of rest.

"Aqua, Sora needs to go for breakfast," Riku attempted to explain, still confused by Aqua's presence in his home. He was trying to find some logic in all of it, but with each passing moment, he seemed to sink even deeper into the mystery.

"Hmm, let me have him a little longer. You had him for two weeks..." Aqua reproached, refusing to let Sora go anywhere other than with her. Her tone reflected a protective and jealous possessiveness, as if she didn't want to be separated from her loved one for even a moment.

"This can't be happening..." Riku muttered in a sigh, dismayed to see that Aqua wasn't giving in.

"Aqua, please. Kairi will kill me if I don't wake up Sora, and believe me, you don't want to see Kairi angry," Riku tried to reason, but it seemed that Aqua was not willing to listen.

"Aqua!"

"Okay, okay. You're so annoying..." Aqua grumbled as she sat back on top of Sora and gave Riku an annoyed look.

"Something tells me you hate being woken up," Riku admitted with a slight smile. Aqua, in turn, let out a grumble, revealing her displeasure at being awakened. While she could wake up without being angry on some occasions, when she managed to immerse herself in a deep and nightmare-free sleep, it was quite annoying to be interrupted. However, Riku seemed determined not to let her sleep anymore, as they had a day ahead, and she needed to stay awake.

"My love," Aqua called gently while softly nudging Sora with her right hand. Riku didn't miss the chance to tease a bit, saying.

"Wow, you already call him 'my love'? It took Kairi months." Aqua huffed at Riku's teasing, telling him to shut up, while he chuckled quietly. For her part, Aqua continued trying to wake up Sora, eliciting small grumbles of protest from him, until he finally stopped and slowly opened his eyes.

"Hmm, good morning, beautiful," greeted Sora with a small and charming sleepy smile, looking at Aqua, who returned the smile. In a gentle voice, she indicated, "You have to go for breakfast." Sora responded with a simple "As you wish," still smiling broadly.

"Alright, lovebirds, I'll wait for you in the kitchen with Kairi," Riku said teasingly, walking towards the room's exit. Sora blushed at his teasing and was surprised to see him there, in his room. He watched as Riku walked away until he disappeared from view. Confusion was written all over Sora's face, and his words were interrupted as he tried to express his bewilderment.

"S-Since when was he..." Sora began, trying to understand when and how Riku had entered his room.

"Just a little while ago," Aqua quickly explained, trying to clarify the situation and ease Sora's concern.

Sora sighed, putting the question aside and redirecting his attention to Aqua. "Did you sleep well?" he asked with genuine interest.

"Yes, this time I didn't have any nightmares. I think letting it all out last night helped a lot," Aqua explained as she looked at Sora. Her words brought relief to Sora's heart, feeling an inner joy knowing that he had contributed to Aqua finding peaceful rest.

"Good," replied Sora, relaxing at Aqua's response. "So, now that we've cleared up the misunderstanding, how about you stay here, and I'll help you distract yourself a little more?" Sora proposed, offering his support and companionship. The idea of being together, with no objections or distance, was appealing to both of them.

"I'd love that," admitted Aqua with a sweet smile, making it clear that she gladly accepted Sora's proposal. In her gaze, a mixture of gratitude and hope reflected, knowing that with Sora by her side, she could find the strength and peace she needed. She wouldn't allow her fears or insecurities to separate them again.

"Perfect," said Sora with determination, no need for further words. Aqua carefully moved away from him, giving him space to sit on the bed, which he did while Aqua watched him affectionately. She adjusted the hood of the jacket over her head, trying to hide the mess of her appearance. Although her hair remained tousled, there was something else about her appearance that worried Aqua: the dark circles that wouldn't disappear overnight. She didn't want Riku and Kairi to see her in that state, but it seemed that Riku hadn't even noticed them during his brief visit.

"It's time to go for breakfast," announced Sora as he stretched his body, preparing to start the day. However, before continuing, he remembered something important and turned his attention to Aqua.

"Isn't there something important you're forgetting, Aqua?" Sora asked with a playful smile. The young Keyblade master blinked several times, confused by Sora's question. She watched as he playfully and teasingly pointed to his own lips with his index finger.

"What?" Aqua asked, still not understanding what he meant. However, her expression changed when Sora made her realize what he was referring to. A giggle escaped Aqua's lips as she caught onto the wordplay.

"A good morning kiss," Sora teased. Without hesitation, Aqua leaned in towards Sora's face, purring softly as she prepared to kiss him.

"And then I'm the affectionate one," Aqua purred a little.

"Because you are," Sora replied with a smile, making it clear that he cherished the tenderness and affection Aqua showed him. Their lips met in a sweet and gentle contact, what initially seemed like a quick good morning kiss lingered a little longer. They couldn't resist the temptation to make that special moment last more than just a second. Sora caressed Aqua's face tenderly while their lips remained locked in a kiss full of love and intimacy. The gentle and warm touch of his caress added a pleasant and comforting sensation for both, intensifying the connection they shared.

"Cough, cough, is there any part of 'go for breakfast' you haven't understood yet?" Kairi's voice echoed from the bedroom door, interrupting the sweet moment between Sora and Aqua. Both quickly pulled away, turning their gaze to the door. There stood Kairi, arms crossed and an eyebrow raised. Sora and Aqua smiled timidly, their faces flushing with a soft blush that reflected their embarrassment.

"Y-yeah, we're coming right away," Sora stammered, feeling embarrassed as he looked at Kairi, who sighed with resignation at the situation.

"You'll have plenty of time to kiss later, come on," Kairi ordered as she left the room.

Sora and Aqua looked at each other for a few seconds and let out a soft laugh, finding the situation amusing. They got up and left the room, heading to the dining area to have breakfast. They walked through the cabin's corridors, enjoying the tranquility of the place, until they reached the living room. They passed through the living room and finally arrived at the dining area, where Riku and Kairi were waiting for them, already seated at the table with the plates of food served.

Sora and Aqua approached the table and admired the delicious food that awaited them. The plates were adorned with fluffy pancakes stacked on top of each other, drenched in a glistening maple syrup that made the sight sparkle. On top of the pancakes, there were juicy strawberries, perfectly halved, offering a splendid presentation. It was an irresistible breakfast for the senses. Sora and Aqua took their seats next to Riku and Kairi, ready to taste the appetizing meal.

"I-it looks amazing," Aqua stammered, struggling to contain her excitement and temptation upon seeing the appetizing food in front of her. "How did you manage to make breakfast for me too? You didn't even know I was here," she asked, turning her gaze towards Kairi, who smiled softly in response.

"Whenever I cook, I make extra. Riku and Sora usually go for seconds," Kairi explained briefly, making it clear that she intended to share and take care of everyone in their group. Aqua nodded, understanding Kairi's kind gesture.

"I see. Thank you so much, Kairi," Aqua thanked, feeling appreciated and welcomed by her friend.

"You don't have to thank me, enjoy it. It's a really good recipe that Sora learned in Twilight Town and then taught me. You're going to love it, especially the pancakes, as they are made with coconuts we have here on the island," Kairi explained excitedly, sharing the origin and essence of the delicious food they had in front of them. Aqua smiled faintly as she listened to the explanation, admiring Kairi's passion and dedication in creating something so special.

"I understand," Aqua said as she picked up the fork next to her plate. She felt a little sorry for having to disrupt the beautiful presentation of the food, but at the same time, she was eager to devour every bite on her plate. Her stomach growled with hunger, reminding her that she hadn't properly nourished herself in the past few weeks. Now that her appetite was starting to return, she couldn't wait to satisfy it.

"How is it?" Kairi asked anxiously, awaiting Aqua's response. She watched attentively as Aqua carefully cut a portion of the fluffy pancakes, coating it with maple syrup and taking a juicy piece of strawberry along with it. For Aqua, every bite was a delight to her senses, an explosion of flavors and textures that filled her mouth with joy and satisfaction.

"Wow, this is amazing," Aqua admitted with a sparkle in her eyes, fascinated by the taste and texture of the food. It was an indescribable experience. Her palate was enchanted by the flavors she perceived, and her stomach rejoiced as it was filled with each bite.

With that statement, everyone began to enjoy their respective dishes. During breakfast, Kairi and Riku took the opportunity to ask Aqua questions about why she was on Destiny Islands and how she had ended up there. Aqua, feeling a bit uncomfortable, tried to come up with an excuse or a small lie. It wasn't that she didn't trust Riku and Kairi, but she didn't feel entirely comfortable revealing the true reason behind her presence in that place. She simply stated that she wanted to be with Sora, which only further confused Riku and Kairi. However, they decided not to delve too deeply into the matter, knowing that they might get a better answer from Sora later on.

"Thank you again for the meal," Aqua expressed her gratitude as her plate was completely empty. She hadn't left a single trace of the delicious food she had enjoyed. After several days, she finally felt full with something other than instant coffee.

"It's nothing, Aqua," said Kairi as they got up from the table and began to clear the dishes. Aqua felt the need to help after arriving unannounced and having them go through the trouble of feeding her.

"Oh, I can help wash the dishes," Aqua offered, holding her empty plate in her hand. However, Riku interrupted her offer with kindness.

"Don't worry about that, Aqua," said Riku, standing up and helping Kairi with the dishes. "Kairi and I have got this."

Aqua tried to object, but Riku gently took the plate from her hands, leaving her speechless. Sora, noticing her unease, smiled and suggested an idea.

"Don't worry, Aqua," Sora called to her as he took her hand. "How about we go for a little walk around the island?"

Aqua looked at her boyfriend and sighed resignedly, nodding with a smile. She accepted his proposal, recognizing that sometimes it was better to let others take care of the tasks and simply enjoy the moment.

"Okay, sure," Aqua replied. Sora smiled and led her towards the cabin's exit, making sure to inform Riku and Kairi that they would be back in a few minutes.

As they crossed the door and stepped outside, the scorching sun greeted them with its full force. It seemed like that day, the sun was at its peak, radiating its warmth over the island. Sora walked alongside Aqua towards the coast, where they gazed at the crystal-clear, blue sea that sparkled under the sun's rays. A couple of small waves rose before disappearing on the shore. The day was simply beautiful, with a bright blue sky and a few scattered clouds. Seagulls fluttered in the sky, adding a touch of grace to the scene. The wind blew gently, caressing their faces and providing a pleasant sensation throughout their bodies.

"The islands are always so lovely and pleasant," Aqua admitted, not taking her eyes off the sea. She had never witnessed a single gloomy or depressing day on Destiny Islands. They were always radiant and full of life. At that moment, she also felt a longing to live on an island, where the beauty of nature and the tranquility of the surroundings could completely envelop her.

"That's the great thing about this place," said Sora with a wide smile as he also turned his gaze towards the sea.

While they contemplated the blue sea and immersed themselves in the rhythm of the waves, an idea began to shine in Sora's mind. He realized it would be a perfect opportunity to cheer up and distract Aqua's mind, so she wouldn't solely focus on her internal struggles. Although since Aqua woke up, she seemed more relaxed and less depressed, her face still reflected the mental fatigue she had been carrying for days. He knew she hadn't stopped thinking about her problems for a single second, and she probably still had many doubts and questions in her mind that she hadn't shared with others. While Sora understood the importance of listening to Aqua's problems and being there for her at all times, he also believed that not everything had to be constantly talking about her problems. He didn't want Aqua to forget about her difficulties, but he also believed in the importance of enjoying life and having a bit of fun.

What if today they set aside their problems just for a moment? What if it was time to have a little fun? There was no better way to forget about stress, anxiety, and other issues than with a fun day in the water. Sora looked at Aqua with a mischievous look and a playful smile.

"Let's go swimming!" Sora raised his voice with infectious joy, his enthusiasm resonating in the air as Aqua looked at him with a mixture of surprise and bewilderment. That sudden call to dive into the water piqued her curiosity.

"What?" Aqua asked, trying to understand the sudden proposal from her companion.

"How about taking a dip today?" Sora suggested, drawing a radiant smile on his face. Aqua's eyes blinked several times, trying to grasp the meaning behind the offer.

"Swimming... It's been so long since the last time I immersed myself in the sea," Aqua murmured as she looked at the vast ocean spread before her. That imposing, deep, and mysterious sea evoked dark memories of her past in the Realm of Darkness.

"Come on, it'll be fun," insisted Sora, letting go of Aqua's hand and standing in front of her with determination.

"I don't know..." Aqua murmured, showing some indecision in her voice.

"Don't worry, I'll be with you the whole time," Sora reassured with a smile that exuded confidence and assurance. Aqua sighed, allowing herself to be carried away by the optimism and confidence that her friend conveyed.

"You won't accept 'no' as an answer, will you?" Aqua asked with some resignation, sensing the response she would receive. Sora only chuckled softly at the question, knowing that Aqua knew him well enough to understand that he wouldn't give up easily.

"No," Sora denied emphatically. Aqua sighed again, aware that there was no way to elude her enthusiastic boyfriend's insistence.

"I figured as much, but there's a little detail you're forgetting: I don't have a swimsuit, Sora," Aqua explained, highlighting the small but significant obstacle in their way. She didn't even remember having any suitable swimwear back at her home. Furthermore, if she decided to go into the water with the clothes she was wearing, it would be a terrible idea as she had no spare dry clothes for afterward.

"Oh..." Sora responded with a hint of disappointment evident in his voice as his mind worked to find a practical solution. He truly wished Aqua and he could enjoy a refreshing swim together; he was convinced it would be beneficial for her.

"Oh, I've got it!" exclaimed Sora, raising his voice as a spark of inspiration illuminated his eyes.

"What is it?" asked Aqua, intrigued by the apparent solution that Sora had found. While she trusted him, she couldn't help but worry about the wild ideas that sometimes crossed his mind. She loved Sora, but she knew that sometimes his whims could be a bit thoughtless.

"Turns out Riku, Kairi, and I have several wetsuits in our closets. I'm sure Kairi could lend you one of hers," Sora explained concisely, hoping his proposal would be well received.

"Wetsuits?" Aqua asked, confused and curious at the same time.

"Yeah, you know, we wear them when we go surfing. They're comfortable and flexible for that kind of activity," clarified Sora, and Aqua blinked several times, surprised by the revelation. She had never imagined the three of them surfing with wetsuits; she had pictured them more with regular swimsuits.

"Hmm, alright, but I highly doubt Kairi would have one in my size," Aqua expressed, unsure if Sora's idea, while good, would work. "Besides, I'm not really sure about going into the water. It's been a long time since I swam, and..."

"Don't worry!" interrupted Sora, raising his voice with overflowing enthusiasm. "I'll be with you all the time to make sure nothing happens."

"Hmm, I don't know..." murmured Aqua, still unsure. It wasn't that she didn't trust Sora, but that vast sea brought with it dark memories of the Realm of Darkness. She didn't want to relive the feeling of drowning, the anguish of feeling her oxygen running out. It was a horrible experience she had dreamed of and didn't want to feel again in reality.

"Come on, Aqua, it'll be fun. It'll help distract your mind a little," Sora urged, trying to convince her. His boyfriend's insistence, accompanied by a tender and joyful smile, gave her some reassurance. She knew she could trust him in case of any eventuality in the water. Although she wasn't fully convinced, she couldn't deny anything to that adorable face of Sora.

"Alright, but just for a while," Aqua agreed with some resignation, seeing no other way out with Sora's uncontrollable joy.

"Great!" exclaimed Sora, full of enthusiasm, and began walking back to the cabin, leaving Aqua alone on the beach.

As she awaited Sora's return, Aqua found herself immersed in a sea of emotions that rivalled the gently breaking waves on the shore. Each sound and salty breeze caressing her face reminded her of the majesty and unpredictability of the ocean. A feeling of restlessness gripped her chest, but she tried to stay calm, knowing that Sora would be by her side at all times.

Furthermore, something had changed inside her since Sora's arrival the night before. Her mind, unlike other days, felt at peace. For some reason, everything seemed to be going well. She hadn't had nightmares, had been able to eat properly, and despite not having enough sleep, she didn't feel tired. She wasn't being plagued by hallucinations or voices echoing in her head, thanks to the brief respite she had. Who would have thought that Sora really had the power to make all her troubles disappear? Since he came, she felt safe, unafraid, and protected. She liked having that sense of protection that Sora provided.

She admitted that she had made a serious mistake by trying to push Sora away from her problems and making him feel bad that day. Making him feel bad, her boyfriend, was something she would never forgive herself for. In that moment, she decided to make a promise to herself: she would never, ever make Sora or any of her friends feel bad again. She had been so blinded by her own pain and internal struggles that she mistakenly believed distancing herself from people and pretending to be someone she wasn't would be best for everyone. But it had backfired. Now, she committed to finding the strength to move forward. She wanted the sadness that enveloped her to vanish completely.

Maybe she should try to forget her pain. What did it matter if she had suffered and bled in the past? What if she stopped clinging to those wounds? She knew it wouldn't be easy, but she was willing to try again, this time for real. Supported by her friends, she could achieve it. The solitary Aqua had disappeared forever. She didn't want to be that person again. The change would be radical, and she knew she couldn't achieve it overnight, but she was determined. Step by step, with determination, she would make it happen.

"Aqua!" Sora's energetic call snapped Aqua out of her thoughts, and she turned her head to see Sora pointing at her from the door of their home. Curiously, Aqua began walking towards the cabin where Sora was waiting for her. When she reached the cabin, Sora greeted her with a radiant smile. That smile seemed to light up the whole place, and Aqua felt comforted by seeing it.

"You're in luck, Kairi has a suit for you," Sora said with enthusiasm.

"Oh, that's great. How come Kairi has a suit my size?" Aqua asked, showing a smile filled with gratitude but also confusion.

"It turns out that once I bought a bunch of wetsuits at Radiant Garden, all in my size," Kairi explained, placing her hands on Sora's shoulders as she came out from behind him to meet Aqua. "But by mistake, I also bought some in different sizes, so I have a bunch of spare suits."

"Oh, I see. And why did you buy so many wetsuits?" Aqua asked, intrigued by the situation.

"You never know when they might get damaged or ruined in the washing machine. Trust me, it's happened to us many times," Kairi admitted, recalling the previous suits that had suffered the passage of time or had been ruined in the washing process.

"We all have spare suits just in case, it's normal," added Sora with a comforting smile as he observed Aqua.

"I see, well, I really appreciate it, Kairi," Aqua said sincerely, grateful for her red-haired friend's gesture, whose smile widened even more.

"Don't worry about it. Come on, follow me. I'll take you to my room so you can change," invited Kairi, taking Aqua's arm and leading her inside the cabin. Sora watched them walk away before heading to his own room to change clothes. Today would be a spectacular day, he was sure of it. There was no room for sad faces or past sorrows. The present shone with new opportunities, and Sora was determined to make the most of them.

Aqua followed Kairi's lead until they reached her room. Once inside, her eyes wandered around the space, absorbing every detail. The room reflected Kairi's personality: organized, clean, and with a gentle scent of roses. The color red prevailed in every corner, from the curtains to the bedspread. It was just what Aqua expected from someone like Kairi, a perfect combination of warmth and vibrant energy.

As Kairi headed towards her closet, Aqua decided to explore the room a bit more. Her attention was drawn to the bedside table, where she found some personal items. A small picture displayed an older woman. Aqua fondly remembered that lady, as she had been present when Aqua saved Kairi from the Nobodies in the past. Next to the picture, there was a seashell and a small framed drawing. It didn't take a genius to deduce that these items were gifts from Xion and Naminé. It was comforting to see how her friends remembered and kept them in mind even from afar.

"Here it is," Kairi interrupted Aqua's thoughts, holding a surf neoprene wetsuit in her hands.

"I really appreciate this, Kairi," Aqua said with gratitude, her voice filled with sincerity. A soft smile formed on her face as she approached to receive the wetsuit.

"Don't worry about it. Go ahead and change, and if you need more privacy, you can use my bathroom," Kairi kindly offered, tossing the wetsuit to Aqua, who caught it carefully in her hands.

Aqua walked towards the bathroom, opened the door, and entered, closing it behind her. Instantly, she appreciated the cleanliness and organization of Kairi's bathroom. With delicacy, she placed the wetsuit on a designated laundry basket. With trembling hands of excitement, she began to unzip Sora's jacket she was wearing. Slowly, she lowered the zipper until she could slide the jacket off her body. Carefully, she folded it and set it aside.

Next, her attention turned to her white sleeveless top. With delicate gestures, Aqua began to remove it slowly, gently sliding the fabric over her skin until it finally came off her body. As if handling something exquisitely precious, she folded the top and placed it aside, adding order to her small personal space.

The last step was to take off her black shorts. Taking each end of the garment with her hands, she carefully slid them down, following the contour of her legs until they finally fell to the floor. Now, she was left only in her intense black underwear, accentuating her graceful figure.

She took the wetsuit in her hands and started to slide it onto her body. Aqua had a fleeting moment of doubt. Would the wetsuit fit perfectly? Worries that it might be too small or too big passed through her mind, but to her relief, the wetsuit fit perfectly, hugging every curve and contour of her figure with grace.

Once clad in the neoprene wetsuit, Aqua looked at herself in the mirror above the sink. The wetsuit, designed to allow smooth movement in the water, subtly accentuated her feminine figure. A slight blush of shyness colored her cheeks as she examined herself. Although the wetsuit didn't reveal much, the form-fitting silhouette made her somewhat uncomfortable. Her gaze shifted to Sora's jacket, folded and resting in a corner. Without a second thought, she picked it up and put it on, covering her body with the protective garment. She felt more comfortable this way, hiding her snug attire as she walked through Kairi, Riku, and Sora's home.

With a determined stride, Aqua stepped out of the bathroom, meeting Kairi's gaze, who greeted her with an appreciative smile for her new attire.

"You look amazing!" Kairi exclaimed with enthusiasm, her smile lighting up the room.

Aqua thanked her for the compliment, although she felt a bit uncomfortable with the focus on her appearance. "Thanks, I guess it fits me well," she replied timidly, feeling the blush rising to her cheeks.

Kairi noticed that Aqua was still wearing Sora's jacket and couldn't help but ask, "But why are you still wearing Sora's jacket? The wetsuit is perfect for swimming."

Aqua adjusted the jacket, covering her figure even more, and admitted sheepishly, "It's embarrassing to dress like this... I feel more comfortable with the jacket."

Kairi couldn't contain a giggle and approached Aqua. "I understand how you might feel at first, but you'll get used to it. The wetsuit is the best option for swimming, it'll give you freedom of movement and protection from the sun. Besides, you look great in it!" Kairi emphasized, trying to instill confidence in Aqua.

Aqua and Kairi left the room and started walking cautiously through the hallways until they reached the living room, where no one was present. It seemed like Sora was still busy changing his clothes. As they waited in silence, Aqua's mind was filled with peculiar questions and fantasies. How would Sora be dressed? Would he opt for a regular swimsuit, just wearing some shorts and nothing else? Or perhaps he would sport a snug wetsuit, accentuating his slender figure?

Hey! Sora was her boyfriend now, and Aqua felt she had every right in the world to fantasize about him. After all, she was human, and although she was not usually the type to have such thoughts, she couldn't help but think about it at this moment. Just imagine it: she could visualize Sora arriving with his swimsuit on, his torso uncovered, adorned with small and alluring scars. She knew the guy had a well-defined body despite his leanness. They had slept together on several occasions, and Aqua had felt the muscles of Sora on multiple occasions when she hugged him.

There was also the possibility of seeing him in a wetsuit snugly hugging his body, allowing the outlines of his muscles to be faintly glimpsed beneath the fabric, which sparked her imagination and stirred a sense of provocation. In other circumstances, Aqua would have scolded herself for having these kinds of thoughts about Sora. However, being honest with herself, she didn't regret thinking about these things about him now. Now that they were dating, she could allow herself to have these kinds of thoughts and fantasies without any feeling of guilt.

Now, she could only wait with anticipation to discover how Sora would surprise her with his choice of swimwear for their time in the sea.

"I'm sorry for taking so long!" Sora's call caught Aqua and Kairi's attention as they saw Sora appear from one of the hallways of the cabin and into the living room.

"Don't worry, Sora. By the way, the wetsuit looks perfect on Aqua," Kairi admitted with a smile on her lips.

"Isn't that right, Aqua?" Kairi said, playfully nudging Aqua to respond. However, she got no answer. "Aqua?"

"..."

"Hey, Aqua, are you listening?" Aqua said, shaking Aqua a bit to wake her up.

"Oh, yes! I-it fits perfectly," Aqua responded, waking up and smiling slightly, visibly embarrassed.

The reason for her bewilderment was obvious, as her thoughts and fantasies from a few seconds ago had come true before her, as if God or destiny had heard her. Sora lay there, wearing red knee-length shorts and nothing else. It was a normal and typical swimsuit that left his torso bare. And Aqua simply delighted in every part of Sora, practically devouring him with her gaze. She wasn't disappointed at all; he was everything she had hoped for.

His body was neither slim nor overly muscular, somewhere in between both extremes. Scars made their appearance on him, some small ones on the cuts of his torso and a larger one on his chest, a scar that Aqua had known for a long time. Sora hid much more than what could be seen at first glance, and Aqua was willing to enjoy every damn second of that day.

"Awesome, you know? I thought I could teach you a bit of surfing. Do you like the idea?" Sora smiled widely as he looked at Aqua, who simply gave a slight smile and nodded.

"Sure, Sora, as you wish," Aqua responded without further ado. Sora smiled even more at her answer.

"Perfect! I'll be right back, I'm going to get my surfboard," Sora said, disappearing through the hallways to his room to fetch his surfboard.

"You're drooling," Kairi pointed out to Aqua, who opened her eyes in surprise and quickly brought her hands to her mouth.

"Seriously?" Aqua stammered, embarrassed. But as she touched her mouth, she didn't notice any trace of drool. She looked at Kairi, who chuckled softly.

"Very funny..." Aqua mumbled, realizing Kairi's joke.

"But it could have happened," Kairi continued teasing a bit while shrugging. "You're eyeing him like dessert, friend."

"I-I... of course not," Aqua denied, and Kairi smiled in a teasing way, raising an eyebrow.

"Even the blind would notice," Kairi admitted, crossing her arms.

"So what if I am? He's my boyfriend," Aqua quickly defended herself, and Kairi let out a chuckle.

"It's alright, just that I never expected to see you like this in my life," Kairi admitted with a slight smile. "Seems like even the Keyblade Master, Aqua, has her fetishes."

"S-shut up," Aqua ordered, feeling increasingly embarrassed and nervous, looking away from Kairi as she heard another laugh coming from her friend.

"I didn't think you'd enjoy this so much," Aqua admitted in a murmur, confusing Kairi. "After all, he's your ex, right?"

"So what?" Kairi asked, puzzled by Aqua's words towards her.

"Well, I thought it might be a little uncomfortable for you," Aqua admitted, looking back at Kairi, who shook her head.

"Oh, Aqua, Sora and I broke up a long time ago. Why should I feel uncomfortable?" Kairi replied and asked.

"Well, I don't know, I thought you might feel awkward seeing me with him now and doing couple things in your own house," explained Aqua, and Kairi let out a small laugh at her response.

"Don't worry about that. Sora doesn't interest me anymore in any romantic way. Now we're good friends. I don't mind if you kiss him or show affection in front of me. He's happy with you, and that's what matters. I'm happy for him, and I'm sure he'll be happy for me if I find that special someone in the future. Don't worry about it," Kairi explained calmly and serenely while smiling at Aqua, who sighed and then nodded.

"Okay, I understand. I was just worried you wouldn't like it," Aqua explained again.

"Not at all! In fact, I love the relationship you two have. I've never seen Sora so happy in years," Kairi admitted as Aqua blinked several times.

"Really?" Aqua asked incredulously.

"Yes, he's extremely happy with you. He always talks about you with so much enthusiasm, and it's clear he's crazy about you. You cheer him up a lot, Aqua," the young Keyblade Master heard those words from Kairi and blinked several times. Was she cheering someone up? Was that possible? She never thought she could make someone so happy. She doubted Kairi's words, but seeing the sincerity in her smile, she knew she wasn't lying.

"I see," Aqua simply said with a small, happy smile on her face.

"So you better not break Sora's heart or make him feel bad," Kairi threatened seriously, putting both hands on her hips. "I'm warning you."

"Don't worry, I would never do that... Again," Aqua admitted, whispering that last sentence. She had already promised herself that she would never make Sora feel bad again. So Kairi had nothing to worry about.

"I'm back!" Sora appeared in the main hall again, now with a black surfboard with red details in his hands, resting on his head, ready to head to the sea.

"Well, have fun," Kairi said as she gently nudged Aqua to approach Sora. "And don't go too far out into the open sea. Sora, you have experience there, but Aqua doesn't, so be careful."

"Don't worry, Kairi, I won't let anything happen to Aqua, and we won't go too far," Sora affirmed, then turned his gaze to Aqua. "Shall we go?"

"I'll follow you," Aqua replied simply.

Sora smiled and headed towards the door, opening it and stepping outside, followed by Aqua. She waved goodbye to Kairi, who returned the gesture with a smile as she watched them leave together. Once outside and ready to swim, Sora and Aqua started walking towards the wooden bridge where they usually left the boats for sailing. They walked slowly, and as they advanced, a curious question arose in Sora's mind: why was Aqua still wearing her jacket? Aqua excused herself, saying that she simply found it comfortable and would take it off once she got into the water. Sora understood without dwelling on the matter.

After a few steps, they reached the wooden bridge and stopped, gazing at the sea in front of them. The sun was shining brightly, reflecting on the gentle waves caressing the beach. The sound of water and the salty breeze filled the air, creating a sense of serenity and connection with nature.

Sora looked at Aqua, admiring her beauty amidst this idyllic setting. Her blue hair gently swayed with the sea breeze, her eyes gleamed with excitement, and her lips curved into a soft smile. She was radiant, ready to plunge into the sea and enjoy the surfing experience.

"Let's go!" Sora called out enthusiastically as he picked up his surfboard and threw it a bit farther into the sea. Aqua watched in awe as he took a few steps back to gain momentum. Then, Sora ran at great speed and performed an impressive leap at the edge of the bridge, propelling himself with determination. In an instant, he raised his arms to the sides while bringing his legs together, creating a graceful image in the air. Just as he was about to fall into the water, he quickly extended his arms forward, tilted his head, and dove into the sea with a resounding splash that filled the air. The water splashed around, welcoming Sora's entry with liquid joy.

Aqua was stunned, marveling at the skill and elegance with which Sora dived into the water. The strength and confidence he exuded were fascinating. After a few seconds, Sora emerged from the water, lifting his head and shaking it slightly to get rid of the droplets that had settled on his now drenched hair.

"What are you waiting for, Aqua?" Sora asked, his voice conveying joy and excitement.

"Ah, yes, just... Just let me take off your jacket," Aqua clarified shyly. Sora simply smiled and nodded, showing patience as he waited.

With some embarrassment, Aqua began to slowly lower the zipper of the jacket all the way down. With care and an evident blush on her cheeks, she started sliding the leather jacket off her body, under the watchful gaze of Sora, who swallowed nervously as he observed her. When Aqua finished taking off the jacket, she let it drop to her left side. Sora felt his cheeks burning, and his heart pounding hard. The snug neoprene wetsuit slightly emphasized her figure, making her curves appear more detailed and spectacular, offering Sora an incredible visual spectacle.

"D-don't look at me like that! It's embarrassing," Aqua raised her voice in embarrassment, noticing Sora's intense gaze on her. The young hero blinked several times, snapping out of his trance.

"I-I'm so sorry!" Sora quickly apologized, feeling embarrassed with his cheeks slightly flushed. "I-it's just that you look really good..."

"S-stop saying those things, it's embarrassing," Aqua admitted, and Sora got a bit startled when he realized he had voiced his thoughts aloud.

"Anyway, come on in," Sora said with a smile, trying to divert the situation and ease the tension in the air.

Aqua sighed softly and nodded in response. Carefully, she gained momentum just like Sora and started running, feeling the adrenaline rushing through her body. She reached the edge of the bridge and made a bold leap, bringing her legs together and extending her arms before plunging into the sea. The sound of the splash echoed loudly in her ears as water splashed lightly on Sora, who was right beside her. After a moment, Aqua surfaced, shaking her wet hair like Sora had done to get rid of the droplets.

"Nice jump," Sora praised with a genuine smile.

"Thanks," Aqua responded with a slight smile, grateful for Sora's kind words.

"Do you want me to show you how to ride the board?" Sora asked as he reached out for the surfboard floating nearby, gently pulling it closer.

"Sure, I'm curious and I want to learn a bit," Aqua admitted with a slight smile on her lips, showing her interest in learning and experiencing something new with Sora.

"Perfect, let's swim a bit farther into the sea, and I'll explain," Sora clarified, and Aqua nodded in understanding. Both of them started swimming gently into the open sea, getting far enough from the beach and the bridge where they had jumped just a little while ago. Once they were at an appropriate distance, Sora began his lesson for Aqua.

"What should I do first?" Aqua asked curiously as she watched Sora attentively, ready to learn.

"Well, the first thing is to get on the board. Usually, you practice first on land, but I think you won't have any problems doing it directly in the water," explained Sora with a soft laugh, enjoying Aqua's determination.

"I guess not. Let's do it then, I'm going to get on!" Aqua said with determination as Sora brought the surfboard closer and held it steady. Carefully, Aqua placed her hands on the board and started getting on it, sliding until she was sitting on the surfboard as it floated beneath her.

"Great, now put this on," Sora instructed while grabbing a cord that was at the back of the board.

"What's that?" Aqua asked curiously, interested in learning every detail.

"It's a leash, it's used to attach to your supporting leg. That way, you won't have to swim so far to get back to the board if you fall off," explained Sora concisely as he took the leash in his hands. Aqua placed her right leg on the board and allowed Sora to tie the cord securely around her ankle.

"You seem to know a lot about this," praised Aqua with a sweet smile, impressed by Sora's knowledge and teaching ability. Sora, somewhat bashful, responded with a slight smile as he looked at Aqua, appreciating her sweetness and enthusiasm to learn.

"Okay, now what do I do?" Aqua asked, seeking guidance for the next step in her learning process.

"Well, the next step is to swim," Sora indicated, starting to make gestures with his arms, simulating the action of swimming. "Lie on the board and use your hands to move along with it."

"Sounds easy," Aqua admitted confidently, ready to put the instructions into practice. She lay on the surfboard, supporting her chest and body on it.

"Try swimming a bit to practice, I'll be close to you," Sora said, offering his nearby support. Aqua nodded in response, feeling motivated by Sora's encouragement.

Gradually, Aqua began to move her arms as if she were swimming. Although it was quite an effort to move her arms that way for an extended period, Aqua knew she had faced more challenging tasks in her life. She trusted her ability to adapt quickly. Meanwhile, Sora swam on her right side, praising her efforts and boosting her confidence. He wanted Aqua to feel good about herself, so he made sure to highlight every little achievement she made. Though it seemed simple, it was extremely effective, as Aqua visibly brightened with happiness, knowing she was doing well. They spent some good minutes going around the water as Aqua got used to paddling with her arms using the surfboard. Then they returned to the starting point, ready to move on to the next phase of their lesson.

"Great job, Aqua! You did really well," praised Sora once again, with a huge smile on his face as he watched Aqua now sitting on the surfboard.

"Thanks, I've gotten used to paddling on the board," Aqua replied, showing a slightly tired but satisfied smile for her progress.

"Do you want to rest for a bit?" Sora suggested, concerned about Aqua's fatigue. However, she shook her head.

"Nah, I can keep going. Trust me," Aqua asserted with absolute conviction, determined to push forward and demonstrate her determination and perseverance.

"Alright, if you say so," Sora replied, having faith in his girlfriend and not doubting her capabilities. "Let's move on to the next step."

"I'm ready," Aqua assured quickly and resolutely, eager to keep learning.

"The second thing you need to learn is how to get up, but I need you to let me get on the board to show you," announced Sora and proceeded to explain the process.

Aqua nodded, accepting Sora's proposal. She enjoyed these surf lessons with her boyfriend, finding fun and learning in every moment. She got off the surfboard and submerged herself in the water, not bothering to take off the leash. It would be cumbersome to pass the cord back and forth between her and Sora, so she decided to keep it on. The leash's length was sufficient not to pose any problems while she was in the water. From below, Aqua watched Sora sitting on the surfboard, looking down at her.

"First, Aqua, here's what you do," Sora began to explain, lying on his chest and body on the surfboard. "Catch the wave and stand up on the board. It takes a bit of practice. While you're lying on the board, move your hands from where you were paddling and place them underneath your chest, palms on the flat part of the board, and fingers curling around the sides."

Sora demonstrated the movements with his arms as he explained, so Aqua could better understand what he meant. For her part, Aqua kept her gaze fixed on every detail of Sora's movements, absorbed in his instructions.

"In one quick motion, push your body up with your arms and lift your feet to place them underneath you. Put one foot where you pushed up with your hands and the other one behind it, about shoulder-width apart."

Sora explained while getting up on the board, using the movements he had just described, making it look simple. However, Aqua was aware that it would take her several attempts to achieve it. Sora had experience in this, but even so, she was excited for the experience and enjoying the show her boyfriend was providing. So, Sora continued to explain step by step and in detail what Aqua should do, giving her some tips to make the process easier. Aqua hadn't expected surfing to be so challenging. While she had guessed it would be, she didn't expect there to be so many steps and rules to follow. She imagined it would be like skateboarding but on water. However, it was far from that. She discovered things like the correct posture when standing on the board, the importance of keeping her eyes forward, and that crouching wasn't the right way to do it. Additionally, Aqua didn't know that there was a specific way to place her right foot called "goofy." All of this piqued her curiosity and motivated her to keep learning and overcoming the challenges that awaited her in the world of surfing.

"Alright, now as I explained," Sora said excitedly, now in the water, ready to help Aqua stand up on the surfboard.

"Okay, I can do this," Aqua told herself, mentally repeating Sora's instructions and actions. At first, everything was going well: she placed her hands on the surfboard, quickly pushed herself up, and...

"Ah!" Aqua screamed as she inevitably fell into the water after attempting to stand up on the surfboard.

"I've got you, are you okay?" Sora asked as he caught Aqua in the water, hugging her and preventing her from sinking due to the fall.

"It's complicated," Aqua admitted with a sigh, showing a slight frustration. Sora smiled playfully, trying to encourage her.

"Come on, I'm sure with a few more tries, you'll get it," Sora encouraged, showing his confidence in her. Aqua sighed again, but then gave a smile.

"Okay," Aqua said as she gave Sora a quick peck on the lips, expressing her love and gratitude. Then she separated from Sora's embrace and prepared to get back on the surfboard, as he watched her with a shy smile, showing his admiration and support for her.

So, they spent long minutes of getting up and falling down, getting up and falling down, and yes, you guessed it, getting up and falling down, over and over again. Aqua lost count of how many times she tried to stand up on the surfboard, and she couldn't deny her frustration at not getting it right. However, with Sora's constant encouragement and words of support, she didn't give up easily. She got up time and time again, determined to overcome the challenge. Finally, after many attempts, frustrations, and pouts from Aqua, she managed to stand up on the surfboard.

"I did it!" Aqua exclaimed victoriously, raising both arms in a gesture of triumph as she stood on the surfboard. "I finally did it!"

"Well done, beautiful," congratulated Sora, smiling and clapping his hands a bit to further motivate her for her achievement. He was proud of her and admired her persistence.

"I'm ready for the next step!" Aqua declared loudly, with a big smile on her face, more convinced and determined than ever. Sora chuckled at Aqua's joy and enthusiasm.

"Yes, that's how I like it," Sora muttered softly, watching Aqua smile like that. It was a beautiful and comforting sight. Aqua no longer needed tears or sadness; she deserved to be free and happy.

"Okay, let's move on to the next step," Sora said, excited about what would come next. He was eager to see Aqua progress in her learning and fully enjoy surfing.

So, another hour passed exactly. Sora explained a couple more things to Aqua, such as how to catch a wave, how to move on the board while riding a wave, how to prepare for falling off the board, and how to use the currents to get out of a wave. He gave her some additional tips to make everything go smoothly. It was an hour of explanations and demonstrations, but Aqua understood that she had to listen carefully to learn. Perhaps in the future, she would come back more often to the islands to keep surfing. It could be fun to learn the sport and have another hobby besides reading and tending to her garden. Speaking of her garden, she hoped the flowers wouldn't be wilted when she returned home. Although, it was likely that some flowers were already wilted and lifeless due to her absence.

At that moment, Aqua was sitting on the surfboard, looking out at the sea. Sora was floating on her right side in the water. Both were waiting for a wave so that Aqua could put into practice everything she had learned. She felt a little nervous but also excited. Sora had told her they would start with small waves, of course. They didn't want to risk her drowning while trying to ride a big wave. They were ready to enjoy this new experience together and see Aqua become a true surfer.

"Look! That one is perfect," Sora said excitedly, pointing to a small-sized wave. "Come on, Aqua, let's see if you've learned well."

"Sure!" Aqua responded with determination and began to paddle as fast as she could toward the surfboard, using her arms as paddles to move forward. Sora watched her from his position, attentive in case any problems arose, although with a small wave, he didn't consider there to be much risk.

The young surfer girl reached the small wave and put into practice everything she had learned. She placed her hands on the surfboard and quickly pushed herself up, managing to stand up. Then, she began to maintain her balance, following the correct leg position that Sora had taught her. Although she almost fell while trying to stand up, she managed to ride the wave with ease. For her first time, she did surprisingly well, even if the wave was small. It was an achievement that filled both Aqua and Sora with pride.

"Incredible, Aqua! You did great," exclaimed Sora, applauding excitedly as he watched Aqua ride the wave with grace and style. "You're a real surfer!"

Aqua beamed with a radiant smile, feeling a great sense of accomplishment. The wind caressed her face as the wave gently carried her toward the shore. It was an indescribable feeling of freedom and connection with the sea. She was excited to continue practicing and improving in this new sport.

"Did you see me?! I did it! I did it! I did it, my love!" Aqua exclaimed excitedly, celebrating her achievement as she swam towards Sora, dragging the surfboard along with her. Sora smiled widely, seeing Aqua's happiness and radiant energy.

"You were amazing, beautiful!" Sora said, raising his joyful voice to congratulate Aqua. "For your first time, you did it perfectly. You have a natural talent."

"It was incredible, it feels fantastic, I love it!" Aqua admitted, her face reflecting total happiness. Sora chuckled as he saw her so radiant. He moved closer to her and gave her a quick kiss on the lips, then affectionately ruffled her hair.

"Well done, that's my talented girl," Sora said with a sweet smile as Aqua excitedly nodded, clapping her hands several times while her cheeks flushed with a tender and noticeable blush of embarrassment.

"Don't try to copy my phrase," Aqua quickly said, embarrassed by the comment, obviously referring to the phrase "good boy" that she usually uses with Sora. He just chuckled, finding her shyness adorable.

"Alright, alright. How about you ride another slightly bigger wave?" Sora suggested, and Aqua enthusiastically nodded.

"Sure!" Aqua responded without hesitation, filled with determination and excitement to continue.

So, the seconds, minutes, and hours continued to pass during their fun surfing session. Aqua made progress and challenged herself by increasing the intensity of the waves she rode. She started with small waves, then dared to try slightly larger but still manageable ones, and then ventured into medium-sized waves. However, although she longed to surf a bigger and more challenging wave, Sora forbade her from doing so. When Aqua asked why, he explained that she was still a beginner and that he didn't want to take any risks with her. He told her that she wasn't ready to face large waves and that they should keep practicing and improving together.

Aqua understood his reasons and accepted Sora's decision, although inside, the passion to conquer bigger waves in the future burned within her. Despite some stumbles and falls in the water, she enjoyed every moment on the surfboard, learning and improving with each attempt.

"Now it's your turn," Aqua said excitedly as she untied the leash from her right ankle and looked at Sora. She was radiant with joy and ready to see her boyfriend's skills in action.

"Do you not want to keep surfing?" Sora asked, confused, thinking that Aqua wanted to continue enjoying surfing all day long.

"I've been in the water for quite a while, and I want to take a break. Now it's your turn," Aqua replied as she got off the surfboard and gently submerged herself in the water. "I want to see how talented my boyfriend is."

"Alright, but I'm not that good," Sora responded with a nervous laugh. He looked somewhat embarrassed by such enthusiastic praise.

"Oh, come on, you're just being modest. Stop hiding and show me what you can do," Aqua said with a playful smile. Sora laughed, a little embarrassed but excited for the opportunity to showcase his skills to Aqua.

"Alright, alright," Sora said with a touch of flair. With skill, he got onto his surfboard and sat on it, preparing to attach the leash to his right ankle.

Aqua, always attentive and concerned for Sora's safety, assured him, "I'll be here if anything happens." Her voice reflected a sincere readiness, willing to act quickly in case Sora found himself in danger in the water. However, Sora responded with a soft and playful laugh, hinting that he didn't need that much concern.

"Sure, Miss Lifeguard, I'm in your hands," Sora added with a playful tone, eliciting a sweet laugh from Aqua.

Without further ado, Sora began swimming towards where a beautiful wave was forming. It wasn't a very big wave, rather a medium-sized one, but enough to provide him with a good dose of fun and excitement. As Sora paddled farther away, Aqua remained floating in the water, watching him with a serene expression on her face.

As she enjoyed that day of swimming, Aqua allowed her mind to completely relax. The internal struggles that had tormented her faded away for a moment. Her anxiety dissipated, along with all her worries. Although she still felt some drowsiness, the adrenaline from surfing was enough to keep her awake and alert. Nevertheless, she knew that accepting help from her friends didn't mean all her problems had magically disappeared.

Aqua was aware that her anxiety, nightmares, and worries would return at some point. However, this time, she was determined to face them differently. She knew the path wouldn't be easy, but life had never made things easy for her anyway. She was prepared to confront the challenges that awaited her. Now she had her family, her friends, and all the people she loved to rely on. It felt comforting to know that she wasn't alone in this battle and that she had a solid support system around her.

The euphoric sound of "Woo!" escaped from Sora's lips, interrupting Aqua's thoughts as she turned her gaze toward him. The boy was at the peak of his surfboard, skillfully riding a medium-sized wave. Unlike her, whose movements still showed some clumsiness and occasional mistakes, Sora glided through the water with enviable skill. He didn't lose his balance, maintained a perfect posture, and mastered every movement, ascending and descending the crest of the wave with ease. He even dared to slide his hand through the water as he glided, as if he wanted to touch it and feel its life force.

Suddenly, Aqua witnessed an amazing moment. Sora gained momentum and launched himself into an impressive jump, flipping backward before landing with his surfboard on the wave, as if it were the most natural thing in the world. Aqua couldn't help but release a giggling chuckle at Sora's acrobatics. Oh, how well she knew him! She knew perfectly well that he was performing those stunts solely to impress her. But the truth was that he didn't need to do all that; his ability to move on the wave was already impressive by itself. However, that was Sora; he liked to show off a bit, especially when his girlfriend was watching. Although Aqua didn't judge him at all, she had also tried to impress him while riding the waves. Let's just say her attempts didn't go so well, and she ended up falling more than once.

"That was fun," Sora admitted as he swam back to Aqua, carrying his surfboard floating at his right side. The boy approached her with a smile on his face, knowing that he had done a good job.

"You were amazing," Aqua praised, admiring Sora's skill in the water. Excitement and pride were evident in her voice.

"Really?" Sora asked, feeling gratified by the compliment. But before he could say anything else, Aqua's lips quickly landed on his in a brief but affectionate kiss.

"That's right, good boy," Aqua congratulated with a playful smile on her lips. Sora couldn't help but smile shyly, feeling a bit embarrassed by the compliment.

"I-I think I'm starting to like that phrase," Sora admitted with a slight stammer, as his cheeks tinged with a soft blush.

"I know you do," Aqua affirmed with complicity, enjoying the playful banter.

Time passed slowly as Sora and Aqua continued to enjoy their day at the sea. After a while of playing in the water, they decided to come out and take a break on the warm sand. Both of them were exhausted from the intensity of their water activities. Sora found himself alone, sitting on the beach, his gaze fixed on the horizon where the sun was slowly descending. Aqua had gone to the cabin to get something to drink and eat, and although Sora insisted on accompanying her, she kindly refused, leaving him waiting.

Sora didn't want this day to come to an end. He was having so much fun and enjoying every moment at the beach with Aqua. He began to imagine the possibility of repeating these experiences more often in the future. What if he convinced Aqua to visit different worlds for surfing? Or even teach her new places? For example, what if they explored Atlantis? If Aqua enjoyed spending the day in the water, she would surely be thrilled to swim freely underwater like a mermaid. Perhaps they could plan a multi-day trip, exploring different worlds and diving into unknown places for both of them. This idea could be beneficial for Aqua's recovery, taking her away from her troubles and allowing her to enjoy new experiences. Moreover, she would be occupied, and her mind would be less burdened, which could lead to a gradual improvement in her emotional state. However, Sora knew it was an ambitious and perhaps premature idea. He would keep that proposal in mind for now, waiting for the right moment to share it with Aqua. He was sure she would be interested in this idea.

Suddenly, Aqua's voice resonated behind Sora, announcing her return. The boy turned his head to meet Aqua, who was holding two bottles of water and a bowl full of fruits.

"Thanks, beautiful," Sora expressed with gratitude as he took the bottle of water and the bowl of fruits into his hands.

"Riku said we should drink water to replenish the salts in our body, and Kairi prepared these fruit bowls for everyone due to the intense heat on the islands," Aqua explained concisely as she took a seat next to Sora on the warm sand.

"Great," Sora said simply as he opened the bottle of water and took a sip. He didn't need more words to express his satisfaction.

"I had a great time today, thanks Sora," Aqua thanked, directing her gaze at the boy, who gave her a slight smile.

"Don't worry, you don't have to thank me for anything. I just wanted to see you happy," Sora excused himself as he took a piece of fruit to his mouth, savoring its refreshing sweetness.

"That's why," Aqua confessed, her smile widening. "You made me really happy today. I don't know how you do it, but you always manage to make me feel so happy." Her words were sincere and came straight from her heart, and Sora looked at her with cheeks flushed from embarrassment, knowing he had accomplished his goal.

"Really? Well... I just like seeing you happy, that's all. I don't like seeing you so down," Sora confessed with tenderness, revealing the reason behind his constant efforts to cheer up Aqua.

"I keep wondering... why did you want to go out with me?" Aqua suddenly said, catching Sora by surprise. "Yesterday, I asked Terra at night who would want to be with someone like me, and he said you did. But I want to know why. What did you see in me, Sora? What attracts you to all my flaws and internal problems?"

Sora fell silent, reflecting on Aqua's sudden question. He knew nobody was perfect, and Aqua was no exception. As a human being, she had her own flaws and dealt with internal issues. But strangely enough, those flaws were also perfect to Sora, and that made Aqua perfect in his eyes. He knew Aqua was referring to her internal struggles, her anxiety, and sometimes her emotional instability. It might sound strange, but Sora loved every single one of Aqua's flaws. Would he prefer her not to have them? Of course, he would. He wished Aqua didn't have to carry those deep traumas, but he also knew they wouldn't vanish overnight. Aqua would live with them for a long time, and Sora understood that. He had learned to love Aqua in her entirety, flaws and all the internal battles she fought. If he had promised to be with Aqua forever, he had to learn to love her in every possible way, even loving what haunted her.

"I love everything about you, Aqua," Sora assured with a warm smile, as Aqua looked at him with confusion.

"Everything about me?" Aqua asked, her voice filled with surprise and curiosity. Sora nodded, confirming his words.

"Every single thing," Sora responded sincerely, not taking his eyes off Aqua.

"Even the way you saw me last night. Even like that, tired and exhausted?" Aqua asked, seeking to understand the extent of Sora's words. Once again, Sora nodded, without hesitation. "Why?"

"Because, to me, you'll always be the most perfect woman in the world," Sora admitted with a big smile on his face. Aqua felt her cheeks burning intensely, and the blush spread all over her face.

"P-perfect?" Aqua stammered, unable to believe what she was hearing. "Me?"

"Yes, to me, you are," Sora affirmed with complete sincerity, leaving no room for doubt.

"I-I don't... I don't understand how you can say that about someone like me," Aqua admitted, trying to compose herself while her face still showed the blush. "What do I have that's perfect?"

"I told you on our date a while back. You're kind, caring, strong, brave, determined, powerful. You have great value and a huge heart. Even when your traumas haunt you, you deeply care for the people you love, and that's something I adore and respect so much about you, Aqua," Sora confessed with tenderness, explaining each of the reasons why she was perfect in his eyes. Aqua listened attentively, and her gaze seemed to light up a bit with Sora's comforting words.

"That's why I like you, or rather, that's why I love you so much. You're an amazing woman, and I want you to know that every day of your life. You're incredible, you're the most incredible woman in the world, and I want that to be engraved in your mind," Sora passionately and convincingly expressed.

Aqua smiled sweetly at Sora's words, and her gaze shifted towards the sea. Without saying anything, she took small hops in the sand to get closer to Sora and finally rested her head on his shoulder. At that moment, Aqua couldn't fully comprehend how Sora was capable of loving her so much. She didn't even have as much love for herself as he showed her. She simply didn't understand Sora in many ways. How could he think her flaws were perfect? How could he love her despite all the parts of her she hid away? Any other person would have run away upon discovering her true nature and all the problems she carried. Yet, Sora remained by her side, even when she pushed him away. Aqua knew in her heart that she had an unconditional and genuine love before her, and that gave her a sense of peace and hope she had never felt before.

"Sora... Do you think I'll be able to leave it all behind?" Aqua posed a new question, seeking the opinion and comforting guidance of her beloved. The young hero smiled tenderly as he wrapped his arm around Aqua's shoulder, hugging her and pulling her even closer to him.

"Of course, I'm sure you can leave behind everything that torments you," Sora whispered, conveying his confidence and support. "I know it will be tough, but you have the strength and determination needed to overcome it. Remember, the past is the past. Now is the time to create a new future, one filled with hope and happiness."

Aqua let out a sigh, absorbing Sora's comforting words. She stared at the horizon, where the sun began to descend slowly, and allowed herself to be enveloped by the sense of security emanating from Sora's embrace.

"I see... Many times, I think you have too much faith in me," Aqua confessed softly, revealing her inner doubts and fears. Sora only let out a soft chuckle, gently stroking Aqua's arm with his free hand.

"I just want you to look towards the future. There will always be a new tomorrow, no matter how much the clouds of today block your view of the sun," he assured.

NIGHT 1

The hours continued to pass on the Islands of Destiny until night fell. Aqua knew she couldn't stay any longer, even though Sora offered her an additional night if that's what she desired. However, Aqua decided to return home, not wanting to intrude on her friends' privacy any further. Sora took her in his gummy ship to Land of Departure, where Terra and Ventus welcomed her with concern, asking how she felt. Aqua assured them that she was truly happy and explained in detail what she had been doing on the Islands to put their minds at ease. She even suggested they call Sora to verify the truth of her words. She was fine, she had a wonderful time, but now the night was inexorably falling, and it was time to sleep.

Aqua lay in her bed, staring up at the ceiling, with a small candle on her nightstand providing a faint light in her room. She didn't want to sleep, she was afraid to do so. She knew she had to try, she had promised to ask for help. She could call Sora or go to Terra and Ventus, but she didn't think it was necessary. She thought it was silly to wake them up because of her difficulty falling asleep. Surely, she would doze off in a matter of minutes. She just had to stay lying down, looking at the ceiling. She wanted to sleep, yet at the same time, she didn't want to. It was an internal conflict she didn't know how to resolve. She decided to let time decide for her. When her eyes couldn't bear the wakefulness any longer, she would give in to sleep. And if, despite her heavy eyelids, she couldn't fall asleep, she would wait for the morning and try again the next night, over and over, until she couldn't bear it anymore and decided to ask for help. That's how things were. Her recovery process wouldn't happen overnight; it would take time.

She glanced at the clock hanging on one of her room's walls and noticed it was three in the morning. Aqua sighed, thinking that maybe having something to drink could help. This time, no hot coffee. Perhaps a glass of milk would do the trick, or at least that's what they said. Carefully, Aqua got up from her bed and slipped on a pair of light blue sandals that were nearby. Then, she stood up and set out to leave her room, bringing the candle to light her way.

She walked through the corridors, illuminating her path with the small candle. Perhaps she would take another candle along the way since the one she held in her hand was close to being completely extinguished, and she definitely didn't want that to happen in the middle of the darkness. She continued to move forward, seeking the tranquility she longed for in the midst of the night.

"Here it is," Aqua murmured as she took a carton of white milk from the refrigerator. Then, she grabbed a glass and began pouring the milk into it, making sure not to spill a single drop. She left the milk carton aside on the kitchen counter and walked towards the microwave. With gentleness, she opened the door and placed the glass inside. Setting the timer for one minute, she waited anxiously. Time seemed to pass slowly as Aqua waited.

After a full minute, the microwave emitted a sound, indicating that the time had passed. Aqua carefully opened it and took the glass, now filled with warm milk. She hoped this comforting drink would help her fall asleep. Slowly, taking small sips, she began drinking from the cup, feeling the warm liquid slide down her throat.

As she drank, she heard light footsteps approaching the kitchen. Aqua assumed it must be Terra or Ventus, maybe the sound of the microwave had woken one of them up, or maybe they also wanted a nighttime drink. Unlike the previous time when she felt nervous about being caught, Aqua felt serene this time. She had nothing to hide, and unlike before, she now wanted to find a way to sleep instead of staying awake all night. She would simply tell them that she couldn't sleep and thought that drinking warm milk might help. This time, she wasn't lying, she was just sharing the truth of her insomnia, seeking a bit of understanding and support from her companions.

"Oh, Aqua," the call of her name caught Aqua's attention, and she finished taking another sip from her glass and turned her gaze towards the kitchen door. A sudden chill ran through her body as she saw a female figure smiling at her with malice and malevolence, a smile that only she could achieve. Aqua's eyes widened, surprised by this sinister apparition.

"What a pleasant surprise to have you here," Anti-Aqua's taunting and malevolent tone resonated in Aqua's ears. The playful yet terrifying gaze of her doppelganger gradually filled her with fear.

Aqua's brain started processing the situation quickly. She must have fallen asleep, it had to be that. She was just having a nightmare. They couldn't fool her. However, as her mind struggled to find an explanation, Aqua realized that something was not right. Despite this experience seeming like just a dream, her body refused to move. Panic took over her.

"Stay away!" Aqua managed to gather courage from somewhere and threw the glass of warm milk towards her evil double. However, Anti-Aqua dodged the glass that crashed against the floor, shattering into a thousand pieces.

"Almost," Anti-Aqua remarked as her smile grew larger and sharper. Aqua's presence felt increasingly threatening, and her mind was filled with a sense of horror. There seemed to be no escape in this nightmare, and Aqua was trapped in her own mind, fighting against the demons that stalked her in the form of her dark reflection.

"Why do you always have to appear?" Aqua asked with a shiver in her voice, feeling the weight of Anti-Aqua's presence in front of her, their eyes locked.

"We haven't exchanged words in so long... two long weeks have passed without hearing anything from you," Anti-Aqua whispered in a tone that pretended to be sad, while her fingers delicately traced the contours of Aqua's face. "I've missed you so much..."

"Stay away from me, monster," Aqua ordered, trying to instill fear with her voice, but her trembling tone revealed her inner fear.

"Monster? You think I'm a monster?" asked Anti-Aqua with a mix of amusement and malice, continuing her caresses as her fingers entwined in Aqua's hair. "Oh, dear, if I am you, that means you are also a monster."

"I-I'm not a monster, you are, you're a disgusting and horrifying being. Y-you're re-!"

"Oh, you flatter me, darling," interrupted Anti-Aqua as she tightly gripped her right hand around Aqua's neck.

Once again, no, once again, the feeling of lack of oxygen invaded her. Her body struggled to break free from that relentless grip, while Aqua tried with all her might to escape the clutches of her dark counterpart. But it was in vain. Every time she tried to breathe, her desperation grew. She could feel life slipping away, her strength fading, and her body refusing to respond.

"You and I are not so different," Anti-Aqua began with a chilling voice, locking her gaze into Aqua's eyes. "You call me a monster, but you are a monster too, a despicable one. Tell me, Aqua, does a non-monster push away their loved ones? Does a non-monster insult their family when they only try to help? Does a non-monster call their loved one a 'failure'? We are two monsters, but I love being one. I revel in the darkness, and you belong to it too."

"I-I...ah...no...s-stop!" Aqua tried to speak, struggling to hold on to the little oxygen she had left before Anti-Aqua's hand tightened even more.

"What holds you back? Are you still clinging to a perfect life? Why? What does it matter? Your existence is a mess, a misery, an endless cycle of horror. So, let yourself fall once and for all, fall and join me in the darkness. Return to the place where you always belonged, immerse yourself in this delightful darkness, and never come out again, Aqua," her evil version whispered, her eyes engaged in a macabre and sinister dance.

Aqua didn't want to. She didn't want to fall any further. She knew that if she kept falling, she would never be able to return to the person she once was in the past. Fear consumed her, overwhelming fear. The yellowish, malevolent gaze of her alter ego terrified her, plunging her into unfathomable vulnerability and unleashing a tide of dark memories. Though at times she had succumbed to the idea of having a happy life, it didn't mean she desired to sink into darkness and solitude. No, that was what she feared. She was terrified of the thought of being alone and empty again, trapped in a perpetual waking frozen in shadows. Throughout her life, Aqua had felt like she was walking on a tightrope, and now she felt like she could fall at any moment. And that moment, that dreadful moment, was now, as she plummeted from the endless tightrope she had been traversing for days, weeks, months, and years. Was this finally the moment of her inevitable fall?

"Lives... dreams... hopes... what are they good for? All those insignificant things... I will destroy them!"

With a sinister conclusion, Anti-Aqua released her grip, and the young Keyblade Master Aqua began to fall towards the ground. However, instead of experiencing the harsh impact of hitting the ground, she felt as if she was sinking into a vast and deep ocean. She submerged into increasingly darker waters as she fell deeper and deeper, catching a glimpse of her alter ego's figure on the surface, looking down at her with a malevolent smile and a perverse satisfaction for having thrown her back into that sea of darkness that was so familiar to Aqua.

The young master felt her body growing more and more immobile. Her hands reached out in a futile attempt to reach the glimmer of the surface, which kept getting farther and farther away until it vanished completely. Her breathing became labored and difficult, almost impossible to sustain. She had fallen; she had returned to that endless abyss she loathed so much. Just like in the past, she kept falling into the deepest part of that ocean of darkness.

She disliked this place. She wanted to breathe, but she felt suffocated and distressed in this oppressive atmosphere. Staring into the infinite darkness of that deep ocean, she felt like a diver struggling against decompression sickness. Aqua only wanted to make sure she was still alive. She longed to breathe once more, to live. She didn't want to be trapped again in that infinite void.

She had always believed she was strong in the past, always thought she was stronger than anyone else. But now, in this desperate situation, she felt like a lost child, a swan drifting aimlessly in an empty and dark sea. She carried a heavy anchor on her back, like a diver who can't find a way to ascend to the surface.

Aqua...

If only she could feel a glimmer of happiness.

Aqua

How much time had passed since she submerged into this place?

Please Aqua

If only that warm and secure hand would reach out again to catch her, Aqua desperately longed for the light to return to her life, to rescue her once more. She just wanted to breathe, to feel alive. Now, more than ever, she was willing to fight for it. She didn't want to fall anymore. She didn't want darkness to trap her again, making her its slave once more. She yearned to be Aqua, the smiling, sweet, and joyful version she once was. She wanted to be that again. She only wanted that, please, let the light appear again, let that hand take her and lift her once more.

"Aqua!"

"Sora..." The young master's eyes slowly opened after whispering that name. Her gaze settled on the blurry silhouettes that gradually came into focus. Ventus and Terra stood on each side of her bed, watching her with faces filled with evident concern.

"Aqua, wake up," Ventus sighed with relief as he saw his friend open her eyes.

"Are you okay?" Terra asked, observing the obvious expression of confusion on Aqua's face. "You were shouting things and then started murmuring and breathing heavily, as if you were drowning," he quickly explained the situation.

"Did you have a nightmare?" Ventus asked this time.

Aqua stared back at both of them intently. She was confused by her dream, but even more terrified. Her body trembled, feeling a penetrating coldness, and her breathing was erratic. In other situations, she would have just told them it was nothing and that she would be fine, or she would have asked them to stop worrying about her. But this time, she didn't want to say that. She didn't want to feel alone, not anymore.

"C-come here, T-Terra," Aqua called out to her two friends, who were taken aback and concerned to see tears welling up in her eyes.

No more. No more pretending to be someone she wasn't. She had dropped her mask, and if she could finally show Sora who she really was, someone fragile and easy to break, she could also show the people she considered family who she really was: someone weak, someone fragile, someone scared. She didn't feel ashamed to admit it; on the contrary, she felt liberated from no longer having to pretend how she truly felt. She would never pretend again. She promised herself.

"A-Aqua, please don't cry," Ventus tried to calm her, as he had never seen her break down in tears like this before. Tears streamed down her face, revealing a vulnerability she had kept hidden until now.

In a swift move, both Ventus and Terra felt Aqua sit up on the bed and wrap them in a tight embrace, her sobs echoing in the room. Ventus and Terra remained still for a few seconds, surprised by the sudden act, but then smiled gently in understanding and hugged her back in the same way, trying to comfort her. No more lies, no more excuses, no more loneliness. It had all come to an end. Aqua was determined; she would never return to those days. Now she sought help, any help she could find, even if it was scarce. She just wanted to breathe and free herself from those deep, dark waters. She longed to feel alive once more, to be herself again, to be Aqua, the real Aqua.

"Stay a little longer, please..." Aqua murmured with a trembling voice.

"Of course," Terra whispered in a calm tone.

"We'll stay for as long as you want, Aqua," Ventus continued in another soothing whisper, making Aqua hold on even tighter to them, to her friends, to her brothers, to her family.

FIRST WEEK

A week has passed since then, and Aqua can't say things have been going well, but she also can't say they have been going badly. Everything has been in a middle ground, a momentary balance that doesn't tip towards any particular side. It simply remains in equilibrium. She still struggles with her nightmares and constant anxiety attacks, especially during the nights, but she has also experienced moments of joy and enthusiasm during the days. Ventus and Terra take it upon themselves to keep her distracted and focused on other things throughout the day, so she doesn't think about anything else but enjoying the present. Sora has also been of great help in that aspect, with occasional calls or visits to her home world. Once, they even stayed on a call talking until late at night. However, Aqua has had ups and downs throughout the week. Sometimes she feels exhausted and drained, unable to stay active. But she has learned to manage it a bit, finding solace in reading and other activities. Even her garden has come back to life after neglecting it for two weeks. Although some flowers withered, the garden has slowly regained its beautiful splendor. Thankfully, the blue rose, Tenma, didn't wither. Since then, Aqua has promised herself never to neglect her garden again. At this very moment, Aqua lies in her garden. She has finished watering the flowers and now delights in the breeze and warm sun caressing her face.

"Aqua!" The call of her name caught her attention abruptly. Aqua turned her gaze back and was astonished. She managed to make out Sora's silhouette approaching quickly from a distance. The young master felt confused. Sora hadn't told her he was coming today; in fact, he hadn't called her all day. Aqua would remember if her boyfriend had given her a call, especially if he had informed her about his visit. Cautiously, Aqua stood up from the ground and walked out of her garden as Sora's figure got closer and closer. What was curious was that he was holding a bag in his right hand, which didn't go unnoticed by Aqua, who wondered what Sora might have inside it.

"Sora, what are you doing here? You didn't let me know you were coming for a visit," Aqua admitted, still surprised, as Sora finally arrived in front of her and smiled with amusement.

"Surprise!" That was all Sora said with excitement. "Master Yen Sid called me to the tower for some minor matters, so I thought I'd drop by since I was on my way. Ventus and Terra were surprised too."

"Oh, I see," Aqua murmured, not saying more. "Anyway, it's always good to have you here," she added with a gentle smile full of sweetness.

"Thank you. Are you finished watering your garden?" Sora thanked and asked, getting a nod from Aqua.

"Yes, I finished a few minutes ago and was just enjoying the breeze," Aqua admitted nonchalantly.

"I'm glad to hear that," Sora responded with a slight smile. Aqua glanced at the bag Sora was holding in his right hand, which didn't go unnoticed by him. Sora chuckled softly, noticing Aqua's curious gaze.

"Are you curious?" Sora asked, raising the bag in front of Aqua for her to see better.

"A little. Did you go shopping too?" Aqua admitted and asked at the same time.

"Sort of. I was at Radiant Garden before Master Yen Sid called me. I was buying some things that Kairi asked for," Sora explained as he opened the bag a bit and looked inside.

"Oh, what things?" Aqua asked as Sora put his right hand inside the bag and started searching for something.

"You know, stuff that's needed in the pantry, ropes for fishing nets, that kind of stuff," Sora explained without giving it much importance, while he continued searching for something inside the bag.

"I see..." Aqua murmured, confused as she saw Sora still searching for who knows what inside the shopping bag he had with him.

"Ah! Here they are!" Sora exclaimed excitedly as he found what he was looking for. "Close your eyes."

"What?" Aqua asked, puzzled.

"Close your eyes; it's a surprise," Sora insisted. Aqua blinked several times upon hearing that. A gift? Had Sora bought her a gift? It wasn't necessary for him to spend his money on things for her. She would prefer him to use those resources for something more important.

"They're closed," Aqua said as she closed both her eyes. However, if Sora had taken the trouble to buy her something, she wouldn't reject it either. It was a kind gesture on his part, unnecessary but kind.

"Now you can open them," Sora said. Aqua slowly opened her eyes and found a medium-sized rectangular blue bag held by Sora in front of her. Curious, Aqua took the bag in her hands.

"You bought me a gift?" Aqua asked, pointing out the obvious. Sora simply nodded with a sweet smile on his face.

"Yes, I think you'll like it," Sora admitted.

"Thank you, Sora, but you don't have to do this. I'd rather you spend your money on more important things," Aqua thanked and admitted. Sora shook his head in response.

"Don't worry about the munny; it's not a problem for me. Besides, I've never given you a gift, so I thought it would be nice to give you one," Sora explained. Aqua sighed and then smiled slightly but didn't say much more. She opened the bag and put her right hand inside to take out what was inside. The gift felt quite light, so she ruled out the possibility of it being jewelry. Fortunately, Aqua knew Sora well enough to know that if he decided to buy her jewelry, they would surely be the most expensive and luxurious ones in the store. Sora wasn't someone who worried too much about money and saving. Definitely, in the future, she should teach him how to save.

Aqua withdrew her hand from the bag after touching something soft and fluffy. As her hand came out, a bluish gleam emerged as well. When she finally fully pulled her hand out of the bag, she was holding a medium-sized, adorable, light-blue stuffed whale, perfect for hugging or holding in both hands. Aqua looked at Sora, who smiled nervously, hoping she would like the gift.

"A... stuffed whale?" Aqua asked, looking at the whale in her right hand.

"Uh, well... I thought you might like it. I mean, your name is associated with water, so I thought you might like aquatic animals, and I thought the whale could be a good choice," Sora stammered without wiping the nervous smile off his face.

"I see..." Aqua murmured as she carefully examined the stuffed whale in her hand.

"Would you have preferred a dolphin?" Sora asked, still nervous.

"I like it," Aqua admitted with a slight but joyful smile and then looked back at Sora. "I haven't had any stuffed animals since I was a child, I really like it." Sora breathed a sigh of relief to see that she liked the gift.

"I thought... well, you could hug it when you sleep to feel safe," Sora explained. Aqua chuckled at that idea. Did Sora see her as a little child? She appreciated the gesture, and she definitely loved the whale plush; it was adorable, but she didn't think hugging a stuffed whale would help her during the nights. She wasn't a little child who needed that kind of comfort.

"Oh, there's something else," Aqua said as she felt a slight weight in the gift bag. Carefully, she tucked the whale plush under her arm to hold it and have her right hand free to take out the other item from the bag, and so she did. She put her hand in the bag and pulled out what seemed to be a small box, slowly taking it out completely.

As her hand came out of the bag with the box in it, Aqua blinked several times, realizing that it was indeed a box she was holding. The box itself wasn't flashy; it was just white with some yellow accents, but what stood out was the word written on it: "Night Light for Kids." Aqua looked at Sora, feeling slightly embarrassed about it. Was it a joke?

"Are you kidding me?" Aqua asked, both serious and embarrassed, as she looked at Sora, who shuddered quickly at her words.

"N-no! Of course not!" Sora quickly denied, fearing Aqua would get angry.

"You bought me a night light for kids?" Aqua asked again, stating the obvious, but this time with a more serious tone, not knowing if Sora was making fun of her or not.

"Y-yes, but it's star-shaped. Don't you like it?" Sora asked, trying to smile normally.

"Sora..." Aqua murmured, not very pleased, and Sora paled.

"E-everything has an explanation," Sora said quickly, and Aqua raised an eyebrow in a 'go on' gesture. Sora took a breath and continued, "You said you're afraid of the dark and sleep with a candle every night. So I thought a night light could be helpful. It's dangerous to sleep with a candle burning all night; you could start a fire."

"I see..." Aqua murmured, looking at the box with the night light. Upon reflection, it was a good idea. A night light would be much safer than a candle, just as Sora had mentioned. It might be more useful than the whale plush, that was for sure.

"Well, did you like it?" Sora asked, to which Aqua sighed and then smiled slightly as she put the whale plush back and placed the night light box back in the bag. Then, she looked at Sora and approached him to give him a small kiss on his right cheek.

"Very much, thank you," Aqua admitted as she thanked Sora. He simply smiled affectionately upon hearing those words.

"What a relief," Sora whispered, and Aqua let out a soft laugh.

"Now, how about you let me shower you with affection while you're here?" Aqua proposed.

"I'd really like that," Sora admitted, and Aqua smiled widely.

"I know."

LAST NIGHT OF THE FIRST MONTH

Things have progressed since then, and it could be said that they are not going very well, even leaning towards the worst. Aqua doesn't feel as bad as before, but she doesn't feel good either. The balance is tilting more and more towards the negative. She can't sleep well, nightmares torment her with increasing strength every night. Although the company of Ventus and Terra provides some comfort, she also feels like she's bothering them by interrupting their rest. Sometimes, she decides to face her fears and spend those nights in solitude.

At the moment, Aqua lies in her bed, immersed in a deep sleep. The room is subtly illuminated by the star-shaped night light that Sora gave her. Without a doubt, that gift was a good idea. The light is better than a candle; it doesn't run out and provides a peaceful atmosphere. As for the whale plush, Aqua has placed it on a shelf with other things, including the "always together" amulet. However, she has found no comfort in hugging that simple plush toy. She still believes it won't change anything and will have no impact on her life. The feeling of emptiness and hopelessness persists, as if she were trapped in a dark abyss from which she can't escape.

"Ah..." Aqua let out a muffled cry as her trembling body frantically rose from the bed and sat up abruptly. Another nightmare, another torment for her mind and soul. Fear and desperation took hold of her immediately, and her body reacted automatically. Her face turned pale, her body covered in cold sweat, and her hands trembled uncontrollably. Her dilated and trembling pupils reflected the horror that lurked in the darkness of her mind. Her lips, also trembling, could barely emit choked sounds.

This time, she found herself in a place so dark that she couldn't distinguish even a hint of light. Whispering voices echoed around her, reminding her of dark secrets and past curses. Her head spun, a dizzy sensation that made her stagger in that abyss of nightmares. Her heart pounded in her chest, as if it wanted to escape from that nightmare and her own reality.

Suddenly, the memory of being trapped in a dark and oppressive room engulfed her once more. The walls seemed to close in, crushing and suffocating her. Aqua struggled desperately to regain control, but it was in vain. Her breathing became heavier, her lungs yearned for fresh air, and her heart beat violently, threatening to break out of her chest. Were these the effects of sleep, or something more sinister haunting her in the depths of her being?

Without a second thought, she jumped out of bed and ran to the window, desperate to get some air. She needed to feel free, to break the chains that bound her to those nocturnal terrors. With hurried movements, she flung the window wide open, allowing the cold night air to invade her room. She didn't care about the cold seeping into her bones; she just wanted to breathe, to feel that she wasn't confined in the suffocating darkness of her nightmares. She stuck her head out of the window and let herself be caressed by the nocturnal breeze, trying to find calm in that brief moment of freedom.

Gradually, her heart began to slow down its racing pace, and her heartbeats became more regular. The agitated breathing gave way to a calm and steady cadence. Finally, she could feel the air filling her lungs with each inhale and exhale. The dizziness subsided, preventing the nausea from overpowering her. In that moment, she clung to the hope that the terrifying episode had passed, at least for now. But deep within her, that sense of vulnerability and oppression remained, lurking in every dark corner of her mind.

"Better... Ah... Much better," Aqua murmured between gasps as she felt the sweat dry on her face, leaving a sticky and cold sensation on her skin. She sighed deeply, trying to calm herself completely after that panic attack that had left her exhausted. She leaned on the windowsill, feeling the cool night breeze caress her face and tousle her sweat-soaked hair. She closed her eyes for a moment, seeking to find calm in the sway of the wind and the silence of the night. She had managed to quiet her turbulent mind, at least for now. She didn't need to call Terra or Ventus; she could deal with it on her own.

Aqua opened her eyes and looked out at the mountainous landscape that stretched before her, adorned with the darkness of the night and dotted with trees that stood as silent guardians. She focused her mind on that panorama, finding in it a source of strength and resilience. She repeated to herself over and over again that she could do it, that she could face her fears and overcome that trial that haunted her. She knew it wouldn't be easy, that the path to healing would be long and winding, but she wouldn't give up so easily. She was determined to hold on a little longer, to challenge her own limits, and to prove that she was capable of defeating her own inner demons.

Once calmed, she stepped away from the window and closed it carefully, preserving that moment of tranquility she had found. Her gaze shifted to the bed, where the night light Sora had given her continued to glow gently in the socket. She hesitated for a few seconds whether to lie down again and try to sleep, but her eyes turned to the whale plush resting on the nearby shelf.

"You could hug it when you sleep to feel safe" Sora's words resonated in her mind, reminding her of that gesture of affection and protection. Aqua sighed again, questioning the effectiveness of hugging a simple whale plush. After all, she wasn't a little girl.

However, she decided to give it a chance. She walked slowly to the shelf and extended her right hand to take the whale plush. She held it in her hands for a moment, observing its soft and endearing shape. Although she doubted its efficacy, she told herself that she had nothing to lose by trying. Perhaps, just perhaps, she could find some comfort and security in that nighttime embrace. After all, in those moments of vulnerability and fear, any small gesture of protection could make a difference.

"You better help me," Aqua whispered softly as she cradled the whale plush in her arms. Carefully, she lay down on the bed and wrapped herself in the soft sheets, seeking refuge from her own fears. She placed the whale on her chest, feeling its comforting and soft texture. It was a gift from Sora, and at that moment, that simple piece of fabric and stuffing became a symbol of support and companionship.

Aqua closed her eyes with determination, holding onto the plush tightly. It was as if Sora were there with her, offering comfort in the midst of the darkness. She slowly surrendered to the world of dreams, knowing that she couldn't escape them. What would this time have in store for her?

THREE YEARS LATER

Three long years have passed since then, and to Aqua's surprise, the circumstances remain unchanged. Nothing has changed since that moment, although there may be one notable aspect: Aqua has managed to restore a balance between her past traumas and her present happiness. Over time, that imaginary tormenting scale has stabilized once again.

Aqua is surprised to admit it, but a significant part of her improvement is due to the unwavering companionship of her whale plush, a gift from Sora. She never expected that such a simple plush could provide her with so much relief. It wasn't perfect, of course, as it couldn't completely dispel her nightmares, but it offered enough comfort for her to fall asleep on most nights. She even gave it a proper name, though that is a secret known only to her. Not even Sora must find out that the plush whale now goes by the name "Sky" and has become her faithful nocturnal companion, her protector against any lurking dangers. There are personal secrets that no one, not even her closest and dearest friends, should discover about Aqua. She will keep this information deep within herself, taking it to her grave, as it would be a total embarrassment if her friends were to find out.

Putting that matter aside, things have continued on their normal course, though now Aqua's friends organize more group outings to spend time together. These gatherings are often planned by Ventus, Terra, or even Sora. The whole group always participates: Riku, Kairi, Xion, Namine, Lea, and many more. Everyone is present! They have engaged in activities such as leisurely strolls, enjoying ice cream at the top of the Clock Tower in Twilight Town, skateboarding in the same locality, and even visiting Disney Town to have fun with the various games it offers. One of the group's favorites is competing in the Coliseum, where Aqua and Terra are tied with three victories each, closely followed by Ventus with only two wins. Life has been lively, and Aqua knows that these outings are designed to lift her spirits, a strategy that has surprisingly worked. She has felt happy and content in the days that have passed, even when faced with moments of sadness and occasional bouts of depression, she doesn't easily succumb. Gradually, Aqua feels that she is making considerable progress, moving forward on her path toward continuous improvement.

The relationship between Aqua and Sora has been growing stronger, reaching levels of closeness that Aqua could never have imagined. She still finds it hard to believe that Sora has been able to tolerate her for two long years without getting bored for even a second. To this day, they have not had any misunderstandings or noteworthy arguments. Sora simply cannot get angry with Aqua, and Aqua cannot get angry with Sora. Besides, she knows that Sora adopts a puppy-dog look when something like that happens, making it even more unlikely for conflicts to arise between them.

They have shared so many special moments throughout these two years that Aqua has kept deep in her heart. Every date, every caress, every kind word, and every display of affection have become invaluable treasures to her. Aqua remembers every minute detail, and when she feels sad, she tries to evoke those moments to lift her spirits a bit. Sora has taken care of her in an exceptional way and has always been attentive to her well-being like never before. He even suggested the idea of visiting a psychologist at some point, concerned about her mental health. However, Aqua vehemently refused, arguing that she did not need such help at that time. This experience has made her realize how protective Sora can be with her, like a vigilant watchdog. It is a wonderful and comforting feeling to have someone who not only provides constant emotional support but also cares for her well-being and protection at all times.

At this very moment, everyone had gathered at the Destiny Islands. Absolutely everyone was present, from the Radiant Garden restoration team to even King Mickey, Donald, Goofy, Minnie, Daisy, and many more. Everyone was here! And what was the reason for this grand gathering? Quite simple: it was March 14th! And what happens on that special date? Well, nothing less than Sora's birthday. Today, he is turning 20 years old, three years have passed since everything happened. Time has flown by without us even noticing, and that young boy is now a 20-year-old adult. Who would have thought?

That's why everyone had gathered to celebrate the party in honor of this hero of the worlds. There was everything on this special day: cheerful music, delicious food, refreshing drinks, and, of course, a marvelous cake. Everyone was having a blast, enjoying themselves together. Ventus, Roxas, Lea, and Isa were playing enthusiastically, catching the frisbee, while Donald and Goofy were busy building sand figures, as if it were snow in the middle of summer. Namine was helping Xion find more seashells for her collection, while Riku, Kairi, and Sora competed in an exciting surfing contest, where the score was so close that it ended in a triple tie.

Happiness and joy reigned in every corner. The celebration seemed to have no end, even when the sun began to descend on the horizon, painting the sky with golden and pink hues. The sunset over the sea provided a magical and romantic backdrop for this celebration. Laughter, lively voices, and hugs filled the air.

"It's amazing how the day has gone so far," sighed Sora as he stretched his body, feeling the satisfaction of a day filled with laughter and fun. With enthusiasm, he set out to find the right clothes to change out of his swimwear and join his friends again. He opened his wardrobe and started pulling out his usual clothes: a black jacket, dark pants, and the like. Although he wasn't sure how long the party would last, judging by the mood of his companions, it was clear that they were willing to keep going until their bodies could take it.

Suddenly, a question and the sound of the door caught Sora's attention, and he turned to see Aqua peeking into his room. "Oh, am I interrupting?" she asked, causing a slight confusion in Sora. Nevertheless, he nodded to indicate that she could talk to him.

"Don't worry, sweetheart. I was just about to change clothes, nothing more," Sora explained as Aqua entered the room with a sweet smile adorning her face.

"Do you have a moment to talk?" Aqua asked, and Sora felt puzzled by the request, but he nodded in response.

"Of course," Sora replied with a big smile, inviting Aqua to sit. He perched on the edge of the bed, and she took up his invitation, settling in beside him without losing the radiant expression on her face.

"Have you been having fun at the party?" Aqua inquired.

"Absolutely! Everyone seems to be in high spirits and happy. We're having a blast," Sora admitted, looking out the window of the room. Through it, he could see the sky and some palm trees. Even in this intimate space, faint echoes of music and shouts of happiness from their friends outside could still be heard, as they continued their celebration.

"I'm really glad to hear that. I don't know if you're aware, but I had a lot to do with all of this," Aqua admitted with a little laugh. "I bought the cake and decorations for today since the beginning of the week, to make sure everything was perfect. I've been organizing everything here since this morning. That's why I asked Riku and Kairi to take you out for about two or three hours this morning."

"Oh, so thanks to you, I had this amazing party," Sora replied with a gentle and affectionate smile.

"W-well, I don't want it to seem like I did everything on my own. Really, everyone pitched in, especially Riku and Kairi," Aqua quickly excused herself, feeling a little embarrassed. Had she sounded too boastful? It wasn't her intention.

"But you were the one who had the idea," Sora said with a wide smile. "It's all thanks to you."

"I... wouldn't say that," Aqua murmured shyly, smiling slightly. She felt bashful. "Anyway, did you also like my gift?"

"Are you talking about that beautiful red surfboard?" Sora playfully asked. "Of course, I loved it! I'll treasure it with my life from now on."

Aqua let out a sweet laugh upon hearing that. She had put in so much effort to find a good gift for Sora, and she finally decided to give him a new surfboard. She tirelessly searched for the best board possible, with the perfect design for him, until she found it and bought it. It pleased her to know that he liked it so much.

"I'm glad to hear that," Aqua concluded without saying more, as both fell silent for a moment, not knowing what else to say. Then, they could hear the laughter, shouts, and merriment coming from outside, reminding them that the party was still in full swing.

"It looks like this is going to last for quite a while," Sora broke the silence, laughing lightly. "Everyone seems to be having a blast."

"I know," Aqua murmured, laughing a little, which caught Sora's attention. "I think they're happy because you're finally no longer a kid."

"W-what? I've stopped being a kid a long time ago," Sora quickly defended himself against Aqua's teasing.

"You don't act like a 20-year-old," Aqua admitted with a teasing tone.

"Hey!" Sora complained aloud, feeling embarrassed.

"Look at you, you're still throwing tantrums!" Aqua let out another small laugh as she teased, making Sora's face turn slightly red.

"Are you never going to stop calling me that?" Sora asked, embarrassed.

"I have to take advantage of the last moments to do so," Aqua admitted with a shrug.

"Last moments? Aqua, I stopped being a kid three years ago. What am I even saying? I wasn't even one three years ago," Sora asked, said, and corrected himself, which only caused Aqua to release another small laugh, amused by Sora's responses.

"Well, I was an adult and you weren't back then," Aqua clarified. When she and Sora got to know each other better, Aqua was already 18 years old and Sora 17, so Sora was still a minor compared to her. Although it wasn't a big difference, just one year.

"I guess you have a point," Sora sighed, resigned. At least that joke would finally end. Now Aqua was 21, and he was 20, so the difference, although not that significant, no longer allowed Aqua to tease him about being a kid.

"Now you're all grown up..." Aqua murmured as she stared at him, letting her gaze roam over his figure. Sora, day by day, year by year, enchanted her more. He never ceased to surprise her and always managed to captivate her heart as if it were the first time. He had grown so much, both physically and mentally. Although his mind was still wild and playful, now he also had that additional touch of maturity when needed. His physical state, of course, improved constantly due to his active nature. He was now taller than her by a few centimeters and had stopped being so short. Aqua had been looking forward to that day since women are generally shorter than men, sometimes more, sometimes less, or even there could be women taller than men. But Aqua knew she wouldn't grow any taller, and sooner or later Sora would surpass her in height, and she definitely didn't mind.

"My eyes are up here," Sora pointed out, pointing to his eyes with his index finger, and Aqua simply smiled as she raised her gaze.

"Excuse me?" Aqua playfully asked, and Sora chuckled softly.

"Forget that," Sora murmured. Over time, Aqua and he had developed more confidence in their romantic relationship. Aqua used to playfully do this, staring at him for a long time when he was in swim trunks or shirtless in general. Sora knew Aqua did it because she enjoyed seeing him a little embarrassed when she looked at him that way.

"What's wrong? Can't I enjoy the pleasant view you offer me?" Aqua asked, and Sora blinked several times, trying to keep his composure before clearing his throat.

"Very funny," Sora replied with a chuckle, and Aqua just laughed softly. "You've become quite confident with me, huh?" Sora added as he gently took one of Aqua's cheeks with his right hand and pulled it slightly.

"O-ouch, I'm just having a little fun teasing you," Aqua quickly defended herself, while Sora smiled slightly before letting go. She chuckled a bit as she rubbed the cheek where Sora had held her. The couple shared a laugh over that little game before falling silent again. Aqua took a breath, as if gathering courage, and then let it out slowly before speaking.

"Putting jokes aside..." Aqua murmured under Sora's watchful gaze, who nodded several times as he listened. "I want to ask you a serious question, Sora."

"A question? Sure, what's up?" Sora asked with a faint smile, ready to answer any question his girlfriend had.

"Have you felt comfortable with me during these two years?" Aqua asked, and Sora blinked several times. "I mean, you haven't gotten bored of me, right? I know it's sudden, but I want to know if you really enjoy my company and, well... my love in general."

"Why are you asking that all of a sudden?" Sora questioned, confused by the abrupt change of topic. They went from playing around a bit to a quite specific and serious question.

"Just answer, okay?" Aqua politely requested, gazing intently into Sora's eyes. He fell silent for a moment before answering Aqua's question, who, for some strange reason, seemed nervous, embarrassed, and her body seemed to tremble, but not out of fear, but nerves. Why?

"I've never gotten bored of you, Aqua," Sora admitted immediately, smiling affectionately at her. "I don't know why you're asking something like that. You know I'd never get bored of you, and I feel very comfortable being by your side. You make me feel things that no one else will, and I enjoy your company so much. You make me feel safe and at ease when you're with me."

"Really? And do you love me a lot?" Aqua asked, and Sora chuckled softly, still puzzled by her questions, but decided to answer.

Of course, I love you too much. It's hard to put into words how much I love you. I want to take care of you and protect you forever and ever," Sora quickly clarified. "We said it three years ago, remember?"

Aqua gazed into Sora's deep blue eyes for a moment. They had been together for three whole years, three years filled with happiness, love, prosperity, and so much more. Aqua tried her best to be a good girlfriend to Sora and did everything she could to make him feel comfortable and loved by her side. Likewise, Sora made an effort to make her feel cherished and loved in every way possible. Their relationship was something Aqua greatly appreciated. She had never expected to have such a loving, stable, and affectionate relationship. Deep down, at the beginning of her relationship with Sora, she had been afraid that things wouldn't work out, that the relationship wouldn't last and would end as quickly as it had begun. But fortunately, she had been proven wrong in all those beliefs.

Aqua continued gazing into Sora's deep blue eyes for a moment. They had been together for two whole years, two years filled with happiness, love, prosperity, and so much more.

Sora had helped her a lot without asking for anything in return. Despite the times when, over the two years, she occasionally pushed him away with the excuse of wanting to be alone due to her issues, Sora always stayed by her side, no matter the complications it might bring. Unlike anyone else who might have run away and left her alone in an instant, he was always there to support her.

"Hmm~" Sora let out a soft moan as Aqua's lips met his in a subtle and delicate kiss. Sora felt a bit confused about what was happening with Aqua, but perhaps it was just his thoughts playing tricks on him, nothing more.

Aqua loved Sora in a deep and passionate way, more intensely than she had ever loved anyone in this world. He was the person she wanted to spend the rest of her life with, until death did them part, be it through old age or any other circumstance. She longed for Sora to be by her side in every stage of her existence, until her last breath. She wanted to share every single second with the man she was kissing at that moment.

People like Sora were exceptional, rare in this world. His kindness, his goodness, his warmth... Aqua couldn't imagine her life without having someone like him by her side. She wished to spend her life with a person like Sora, with that joy and tenderness that he radiated. He was her Sora, her boyfriend, her love, her whole life. The special connection they shared was something Aqua valued more than any treasure in the world. There was nothing she wanted more than to build a future together.

"Aq...hmm..ua?" Sora tried to ask during the kiss as Aqua confused him.

Her right hand delicately traced Sora's bare chest with a tenderness that transcended time. Each touch, each contact with Sora's tense muscles and smooth skin made her heart beat faster. That physical connection ignited a fiery passion within her, reflected in her eyes.

The kiss, initially soft and tender, became overwhelmingly intense thanks to Aqua. Sora, surprised by the fire that ignited within him, felt his face heating up and his breath becoming ragged. Their lips melded together, exploring the taste and warmth of each other's mouths in a frenzied dance.

Without breaking the loving and deep kiss, the young sorceress began to move smoothly, sliding slowly onto Sora's lap, seeking greater comfort. Sora, who still didn't fully comprehend what was happening, felt nervous yet excited by the strange sensation that invaded his entire being. What was going on? He had never experienced such an intense emotion, something that went beyond fighting Heartless or riding a rollercoaster. It was an unfamiliar excitement, an intoxicating feeling that he couldn't put into words. He simply felt good.

Sora firmly held Aqua's waist to keep her close, but she, not breaking the kiss, released her arms and brought them to Sora's, taking his forearms with her hands and guiding them further down her body, exploring another area of his body. Then, Aqua's arms wrapped around Sora's neck again, while she felt Sora's hands playfully tighten after being led to move further down.

Small magical sparks of bright blue began to emanate from Aqua's delicate hands. These magical sparks slowly enveloped Sora's room, creating a mystical and enchanting atmosphere. In that moment, the soft sound of the window curtain closing abruptly was heard, followed by the distinct "click!" of the door lock, ensuring that nobody would interrupt this intimate moment. Now, the room was plunged into complete darkness, with only small rays of light subtly filtering through, creating a magical and suspenseful ambiance.

"Turn on the lights..." Sora murmured as he pulled away from the kiss and searched in the dimness for Aqua's barely visible face.

"The lights?" Aqua asked, confused by the request.

"Yes, if we're going to do this, I want to see every part of you, Aqua. Please," Sora quickly explained. He knew where all of this was leading, and if Aqua was ready to take that first step in their relationship, he wanted it to be unique and special. Aqua silently nodded and, with a swift motion, magically turned on the lights in the room. Sora smiled with satisfaction as he saw his wish come true. Now everything was better; he could perfectly see Aqua, her face, her body, every detail of her. He didn't want to be in the dark, unable to appreciate anything. He longed to behold his beloved in every moment of what was about to happen, desiring to engrave every moment of this shared experience in his memory.

Sora once again immersed himself in a passionate kiss with Aqua, and she let out a small muffled moan at the sudden act but quickly surrendered to the wave of sensations. Slowly, the room filled with ragged sighs, pleasurable grunts, and soft moans escaping from both of their lips. Amid passionate kisses, playful bites, hickies, and other intimate escapades, Sora and Aqua gradually fell onto Sora's bed, giving in to the desire that consumed them. Aqua's clothing flew across the room, not caring where they landed, while their clothes were eagerly discarded. The bell sleeves flew off, followed by the crossed belts over her chest and the flaps around her waist. Finally, her long-collared blouse came off her body and vanished into some unknown corner of Sora's room.

As they continued in their unrestrained passion, the atmosphere grew increasingly fiery, with the heat of desire enveloping the room, and the moans of pleasure intensifying. Sora left small bites on his beloved Aqua's neck, accompanied by subtle love bites that left marks of passion on her skin. She, in turn, surrendered completely to Sora's embrace, without any resistance. She was enjoying every sensation, fully aware that Sora was the right person with whom she wanted to share the rest of her life. That's why she had decided to take this big step in their relationship after two years together. It was enough time for reflection, and she finally decided to give herself to Sora with love and passion. And it wasn't just Aqua who thought that way, Sora did too. He had never considered the possibility of having sexual relations with Aqua because he believed she wasn't ready for that level of intimacy. However, that fact never bothered him. Sex wasn't something he considered a priority in their relationship, and he was willing to wait however long it took until Aqua felt completely secure within herself to take that step. He never made any suggestions, not even subtle hints. He simply waited for Aqua to feel ready and comfortable. Even if he had to wait for years more, that wouldn't matter to him at all. But now that she had decided to take that step with him, Sora was determined to enjoy every second, every minute of that intimate encounter. He would make Aqua feel loved in every moment of that night. His only goal was to make her feel like the most special and loved woman in the world.

"I love you," Sora whispered with a hoarse voice as he gazed at Aqua, who was above him, both naked, their bodies only covered by the delicate fabric of their underwear.

"I love you too, my love," Aqua murmured in response before they once again melted into a passionate kiss. The love they shared flowed between them, entwining their souls and bodies in an intimate dance full of tenderness and desire.

Every caress, every touch of their lips was a silent declaration of love, a language that only they could understand. The beating of their hearts synchronized, their bodies explored each other with delicacy and passion, immersing themselves in the depth of their emotional connection.

THE NEXT MORNING

Inside that room, an oasis of intimacy and serenity, small rays of light filtered delicately through the spaces left open by the partially drawn curtain, drawing soft luminous strokes on the walls. The faint glow spilled over the bed, caressing with its warm embrace the naked bodies resting on it, wrapped in soft and warm sheets.

Meanwhile, in the background, the incessant ebb and flow of the sea could be heard, like a constant choir resonating strongly along the shore. The sound of the waves crashing against the shore became a gentle lullaby that seeped into the room, inviting rest and tranquility. Seagulls, with their cries and graceful flights, also became part of the symphony that enveloped that corner of peace. Their voices soared in the air, adding a touch of freedom and lightness to the atmosphere.

As the sun ascended on the horizon, its light gradually intensified, weaving a luminous dance that caressed every leaf of the tall palm trees majestically rising on nearby islands. The soft, caressing breeze swayed the lush tops of the trees, causing the palms to sway in a natural choreography in harmony with the surroundings.

However, at that moment, the external splendors were merely a backdrop to the true protagonism of that space. Inside the room, in almost complete darkness, two figures lay in a deep sleep, surrendered to the restorative slumber that enveloped them. Their naked bodies were covered by the sheets, while their faces reflected unwavering tranquility, complete happiness, and a satisfaction that manifested in every line of their expression.

Waking up from their restorative sleep, a soft groan emerged from Sora's lips, reverberating in the room and announcing his return to reality. The young hero slowly opened his eyes, allowing the daylight to filter gradually and clarify his vision. Carefully, he glanced down, where he found Aqua, his companion, naked and delicately curled up against his chest. The warmth of her naked skin in contact with his enveloped Sora in a unique and indescribable sensation.

"Good morning, beautiful," Sora whispered as he used his right hand to gently push aside the unruly locks of hair covering Aqua's face, wishing to admire her in her fullness. That night would be unforgettable for both of them, a memory they would cherish deep in their hearts. They started with some awkwardness, not entirely sure what to do, nervous and embarrassed laughter filling the air as they tried to find their rhythm. However, with time, they let the magic of the moment envelop them, dissipating the initial awkwardness and vanishing any fears. It was a beautiful process.

Aqua's soft murmur echoed in the room, reluctant to open her eyes and holding onto Sora in a comforting embrace. "Good morning," she whispered, sinking even further into the comfort of that moment.

"Time to wake up," Sora mentioned in another whisper, trying to urge her to open her eyes and face the new day. However, instead of obeying, Aqua let out a playful grumble, expressing her refusal to leave that moment of peace and fulfillment.

"I don't want to, let me enjoy this a little longer," she insisted, keeping her eyes closed and holding onto Sora with more strength. In response to her request, Sora couldn't help but let out a soft laugh, moved by the sweetness of her words.

Was that what Aqua wanted? Sora asked in a low voice, his gaze reflecting a mixture of complicity and tenderness. Aqua's response was a silent nod as she slowly let her eyes open, allowing the soft light of dawn to enter the room.

"Please," Aqua pleaded, her eyes seeking Sora's, who sighed resignedly. Without hesitation, in an agile and loving movement, Sora took the bed sheets and spread them over them, creating an intimate refuge where they could stay a little longer, protected from the outside world.

"I guess we can stay here a little longer," Sora said, resigned to Aqua's wish. He gave her a soft kiss on the hair, conveying his love and complicity. Aqua smiled, feeling her heart fill with joy at that gesture of unconditional love.

"Sora," Aqua murmured softly, drawing her beloved's attention.

"Yes," Sora responded, attentive to every word that came from Aqua's lips.

"I am filled with indescribable joy to have you by my side," Aqua whispered with a barely audible voice. "I am profoundly happy to have the privilege of sharing my life with you. I wish to be by your side until the last day of my existence."

Sora was moved by Aqua's words, feeling a wave of love and gratitude wash over every fiber of his being. With a gentle smile filled with affection, he wrapped his arms around Aqua and embraced her tenderly. "It's funny," Sora whispered, his voice brimming with love. "Because I want exactly the same thing. I want to be with you until the end of our days. We'll be together, forever and ever. Remember?"

Aqua's heart filled with immense love upon hearing Sora's words. She closed her eyes, allowing her emotions to intertwine with the words whispered by her beloved. "Yes, forever," she finished in a whisper, letting herself be carried away by the warmth of the embrace and gently drifting back into the world of dreams.
