Reminder Rave Master Naruto started off before the time skip so Naruto only have the jutsus he knew prior to it. Nor does he have control over Kurama's chakra yet much less have befriended Kurama

(XXXVIII) Naruto and Haru Tag Team Against Siege

Elie looked up to see Naruto and Haru standing over her.

"How dare you! How did you survive being hit by my thunder?" SIege said still unfaze by Naruto's punch.

"I missed you," Elie said. "I thought you never show up Haru."

"I'm here too!" Naruto complained.

"Haru?" Siege responded.

Haru glared back looking very bellocross. He drove the point of his sword into the ground.

"Don't even think of taking off," Haru warned Siege as he turned toward Elie. "I'll be back with you in a minute."

"Not that he can go anywhere anyways. I got the whole place surrounded with shadow clones," Naruto said.

"Shadow clones, huh." SIege said.

Haru kneeled down to Elie. "Elie."

"Haru," Elie greeted.

So he's the rave master, Siege thought. That means the blonde must be the boy from the other world who travels with him.

"You going to be okay?" Haru asked. "You look pretty bang up."

"Yeah." Elie replied. "My whole body hurt just a minute ago... but all of a sudden the pain disappeared. I wonder if it was because of you."

But then Elie cough up blood and collapsed.

"Elie!" Haru shouted.

"Hey is everything okay?" Naruto asked.

"I'm fine. It doesn't hurt at all.:

SHe's not okay. She's just in shock. Haru thought. Oh man, this is bad.

"Haru..." Elie gasped. "I guess I'll never know who I am. I thought was so close..."

"Hey! It's not over yet! Believe it!" Naruto responded.

"Naruto is still have a lifetime," Haru said.

"I wanted to remember... all I wanted was my memories. But you know... when I met you and Naruto I made some new memories. Do you remember when we first met?"

"Yeah, I remember. At the dog races." Haru said.

"Naruto gave those guards the slip with his shadow clones." Elie said. "You two can be idiots at times, but you always have each other's back."

"Yeah, we do," Haru agreed.

Elie coughed some more.

"Elie!"

"M...my name isn't Elie. I liked it but..."

"What are you saying?" Haru said.

""Wait, Elie did you remember something from your past?" Naruto reacted.

"What? Is that true?" Haru responded.

But Elie coughed up more blood. "I... I shouldn't be alive..." Elie wheezed

"What are you saying? That's not right? You're the best! Of course you should be alive!" Haru responded. "If you got some of your memory back. Great But I don't care what your real name is! To me you're Elie. You're silly. YOu never do anything right. You're selfish. You love gambling and you're just a strange girl... but still... I... I love you for who you are, Elie." Haru cried.

"Thank you. I'm glad I could see you in the end Haru." with that Elie lost conscious.

"No! Don't say things like that! Elie! Elie!" Haru cried.

"Is she dead?" Siege asked.

"Why do you care?" Naruto responded.

"Foolish boys! I did what had to be done for us all. Time has been saved. We're no longer enemies."

"Shut up!" Naruto shouted as his spiky blonde hair went wild like as red chakra seeped from his body. "You have no right to speak that way!"

Naruto turned to Siege with his blue eyes now red slitted like a fox and his whisker lines now more pronounced whisker markings.

"It seems my job isn't done just yet," Siege said.

Unknownst to Siege Haru had whispered something to Elie. This trigger something in her as mist seem to seep out of her, which Siege might have noticed if it wasn't for the red chakra blazing out of Naruto.

Red chakra... fox like traits... could this be the power of the Nine-Tail Fox Naruto told us about? Haru thought. Then Haru smirked.

Haru grabbed his sword. "I'm with you Naruto. We'll make him pay."

...

Meanwhile Musica and Plue were trying to find Haru and Naruto as Haru left him behind to save Elie and Naruto was the only one who kept up.

"Help me little dude. We've got to find the station where Hebi saw Elie!" Musica told Plue.

"Young man. Even if you find it, it won't do you any good," the fortune teller called out catching Musica's attention.

"You're that old lady from before!" Musica said.

"The battle has begun. A battle for that girl's very life. Or perhaps I should say the countdown to that girl's death and the blonde's corruption has begun."

"Corruption?" Musica siad.

"Yes. The power in the blonde one is growing restless with the new world. I'm sorry but your friends are doom. No matter what you do the end result will be the same. The future cannot be changed."

Musica smirked. "The future huh? Like I care about the future. The here and now is what I'm worried about. Besides, I doubt Naruto would be corrupted so easily and I'm not worried about Haru and Elie. When it comes to taken charge of the present, no one can hold a candle to those three."

"You don't think that your friends can alter the future, do you?"

"As matter of fact, yeah. I do. Haru's and Naruto's destiny are theirs and their's alone. That's one thing I'm sure of."

"You're making too much of him dearie."

...

"Elie," Haru said. "Do your best to live. Cuz Naruto and I gonna be doin our best too,"

Naruto charged at Siege for and Naruto went for a punch, but Siege blocked it with ease on;y for Haru to come from above. "Explosion!" Haru shouted swipping his sword down.

There was an explosion but SIege blocked it too.

"If this is all you two got, then this will end quickly." Siege said.

"And I told you," Naruto growled. "I have the place surrounded."

Just then two more Naruto's appear behind. "Silfarion!" Haru called on his swords's speed form and started swiping at top speed. But Siege some how caused the clones to float over him in front of Haru and causing Haru to cut through Naruto's shadow clones instead.

"How did you do that?" Haru responded.

"I used wind to push the clones over me so they fall in front of you," Siege said.

"WInd? What kind of shadow stone is that?" Haru asked.

"I didn't use a shadow stone. It's all natural. I am an elemental master. And if that's all the two of you have, I'm disappointed."

"We'll see about that!" Haru shouted. "High Speed Chain explosion! Wings of explosion dragon!"

Combining Sifarion speed with explosion Haru send multiple blast at once but Siege came out of it unharmed where as Haru was injured.

"Hmm, a chain of 12 explosions at the speed of sound. Interesting to see up close." Siege said. "But it affects me no more than a hummingbird flapping its wings at me."

"Huh?" Haru said.

"Not even worth disgusting," Siege explained. "I made all 12 of those explosions hit you instead.

"Im... Impossible/ But Haru collapsed as the pain of his attack kick in.

"There's an old saying. 'Even one who masters the sword must bow to the power of magic One who masters the sword in the end, that's all a Rave Master is. Even someone with that kind of skill with the sword can't stand against the power of magic."

"You're a sorcerer," Haru responded.

"A swordsman can't win against a mage. It's only natural." Siege said.

"Don't stop fighting Haru!" Haru heard Naruto shouted.

"Naruto," Haru said.

"You don't have a prayer!" SIege summoned another thunderbolt.

"Naruto, is right! I can't give up! I must protect Elie!" Haru swiped his sword and cut through the lightning bolt with his sword new form marked Rune Save.

Naruto came from behind with yet another shadow clone as he formed the Rasengan.

"Rasengan!" Naruto jabbed the Rasengan into Siege sending him flying back.
