Moriko sighed happily as she relaxed in the cool mountain pool. It was another hot summer day and not for the first time she missed the mild to wintery conditions of her homeland. She couldn't deny that she was enjoying this new world though.
She did not have the same worries that she had had in her old world, and while lethal combat was frightening it was also rather thrilling. Her body moved in ways she had never experienced and while it was hard and quite painful, she was also a bit of a masochist at heart and had relished the chance to grow stronger. She also had an adopted little brother and a future to look forward to, being able to take a bigger step in improving her new home than she ever would have had to improve the military if she had joined. Her voice was heard and taken into consideration if only due to its unique perspective, a highly gratifying situation when she and Hiruzen discussed policy and the running of the village in private. While this world was fraught with dangers, she was sure that she rested fairly high on the food chain.
She moved to sit on a rock, using her ability to move her hair and her fingers to comb out the long bloodred locks, naked as the day she was born as she mused to herself. She almost didn't notice the suppressed feel of someone's chakra as it slipped invisibly into the pool. She immediately began calling Shadow to her and could feel him peek through the connection.
Certain that she wasn't in danger since Shadow would come if called, her brow quirked in curiosity as the chakra moved smoothly toward her.
A head of short dark navy hair lifted from the water and a man with the most curious shade of blue peeked out of the water. She smiled, fascinated by his unique appearance, head tilting to the side in interest as he raised the rest of his face from the water to grin at her.
Her eyebrows rose in interest at the sharp teeth, white eyes, and gill marks on his face and neck. Bolstered by her lack of fear the man began to move smoothly closer till his large warm hands ghosted against her submerged calves and he stood. He was far taller than was normal for this world well over 6 feet and powerfully built with broad built shoulders and a chiseled torso. The mischievous grin on his full lips prompted a giggle from her.
"Hello water god," she teased as his grin broadened.
"Oh? And here I thought that you were the water goddess," he teased teasingly stroking her ankles. She sighed at the light touch, raising a leg to gently skim the skin of his outer thigh. He shivered lightly, eyes seeming to darken though she was not fearful of what she saw in them. She sat back, body on full display still relaxed.
"It takes a kindred spirit to understand what you really are, doesn't it?" she queried, and he paused seeming to truly consider her words.
"And what is that?" he asked. She smiled sadly at him.
"I would assume misunderstood most of the time. Able to see things in this world others don't. An outsider like me," she said candidly before giving a small shrug. He settled back in the water looking thoughtful.
"And what do you see in this world?" he asked.
Tell him that you see lies, whispered the echo of Shadow's voice from across the connection. She thought about it for a moment before deciding that it was true.
"A world of lies," she eventually said as she raised her knee so she could rest her chin on it, looking thoughtful before shrugging lightly.
"I suppose it doesn't matter what world you go to though. People are all the same," she murmured as he frowned bemused.
"And you've been to another world, little Water Goddess?" he asked teasingly. She smiled more fully at him before leaning forwards as if to impart a secret and he leaned closer.
"I'm not originally from this one," she whispered as his eyes went wide. She grinned as she leaned back chin on her hand as she gazed off into the forest.
"What's nice here though is that I can change things for the better. Make people's live better, you know?" she asked before returning her attention to him with a grin. Her eyes widened in alarm as she took in his wary uncertain expression, that he hadn't taken it as a joke.
"You actually believe me," she breathed suddenly fearful as she moved to flee. With speed matching her own he caught her waist and pulled her back into his, pinning her body to his own. When Shadow didn't react, she began to calm. She wasn't in danger.
"You can't tell anyone this, not a soul. Can you imagine what they would do to me?" she breathed as she began to quiver in fear of the idea. Suddenly she didn't feel so untouchable anymore and it was her own damn fault for doing something so foolish. Maybe she should call him anyways. Her heart clenched at the thought of having this man die to keep her secrets and decided to speak to him first.
"Sadly, I can."
"Please. Promise me," she demanded, still trapped in his arms and unable to see his face.
"Tell me one thing. Why do you look like an Uzumaki?" he finally asked as he began to move them further into the pool.
"Because I am one... now," she whispered. He sighed as he released her so that he could turn her in his arms. She wrapped her arms around his neck as he brought them face to face. He seemed to regard her naked expression for a minute before looking down.
"I promise. I will never tell," she regarded him uncertainly wondering why this man would do such a thing.
"Why?" she finally dared to ask. His eyes met hers with a rueful grin.
"Kindred spirit, remember? Besides I can smell lies, and you never lied. I can understand you lying about something like this though. It's for your own safety," he breathed before she saw him swallow and look away as if suddenly uncomfortable. She regarded him for a moment before looking away swallowing uncertainly.
"It's my face, isn't it? It's foreign," she whispered as he looked up, seeing hurt and uncertainty in those teal eyes that gazed across the water. He gently gripped her chin, bringing her eyes back to his own before he planted a gentle kiss on her lips.
"I like it. It's beautiful in a unique way that I've never seen before. I was just thinking of what could happen if anyone else managed to realize what it meant," he whispered against her lips. Another shudder ran through her, and he tightened his grip protectively.
"I... I know I have no right to ask this, but will you let me put a seal on that secret? I'm sorry," she cried curling in on herself seeing his expression.
"It's not entirely that I don't trust you, but there are ways for it to be extracted without your knowledge or permission," she said quickly, still not meeting his eye. He was quiet for a long moment before he sighed.
"Do you know who I am?" he asked suddenly causing her to blink in surprise before she frowned.
"No?" she said, still confused.
"Then why aren't you trying to kill me?" he asked, expression frank.
"Well, I mean I could. If not me then Shadow could, but I don't like killing and you've been awfully decent about this whole mess despite not knowing who I am, so I get the sense that you're a good person and I would hate to do that to someone like that," she said as he snorted.
"You could kill me? Or this Shadow?" he asked with an incredulous chuckle. Her expression became stubborn.
"I never said it wouldn't be difficult, I'm assuming that you're pretty strong from that reaction, but Shadow is even more so," she said sternly as he frowned. He could tell she wasn't lying and that worried him slightly. After a moment he sighed.
"Any you any good with seals then?" he asked as she beamed, face coming alive and pulling an unwilling smile from his own.
"Pretty good," she said before leaning forward to kiss him. He could feel his body relax as hers melded into his, her hand ghosting to his hip bone, causing a startled moan to rise from his throat. He felt the small pulse of chakra from that hand on his hip before it trailed up his chest, causing his breath to turn ragged as he struggled to contain himself. When he opened his eyes, the lust in the young woman's eyes was his undoing and he felt his control snap like an audible twang. She must have heard it too because her returning grin was positively sultry.
...
She lay languidly across his chest as he panted for air, slowly coming out of the lust-riddled fog he had been in for the better part of four hours.
"You nearly killed me," he gasped as she yawned prettily atop his chest. For such a pretty little thing she was definitely dangerous. Her grin was mischievous, and he felt a slight twitch in where it was still inside her.
"Cut that out big guy, no more," he grumbled as she laughed. With his hands still held down, she began to explore his body languidly, her touches soft and teasing as she worshipped his body.
"Never thought that I would be the one needing aftercare," he joked as she pulled cool mountain water to wash his feverish body. She released his hands and they eased into the pool to relax together, her light form resting on his lap as they basked in the afterglow of their sex-a-thon.
About ten minutes later after some talking and light cuddling, they both tensed when they heard a distant voice calling. Cursing the young woman leaped from the pool, her hair undulating as it untangled itself into sleek red locks before she pulled the water from her skin and hair with water nature chakra. She threw on a clean change of clothes before rushing to his side. The kiss was gentle before she pulled back to smile fondly at him.
"Later, Water God," she whispered before leaving, the voice much closer now.
"Moriko!" It called. Kisame stiffened in recognition of the voice. His eyes went wide as he looked back into the forest to find Jiraiya of the Sannin leaping through it.
"Hey, Sensei!" she replied cheerily as she moved to meet him. Kisame's eyes went wider.
Jiraiya landed not too far away standing there with crossed arms as the Sannin shot her an unamused look. Kisame nearly panicked before remembering what she had said about the seal. No one would be able to see or hear them here.
"Just where have you been?" he asked. Her grin turned sly as she began to move away from the mountain pond in the dense forest.
"Oh, you know. Just out doing things," she said easily as the sage frowned looking suspicious.
"Like what?" he demanded.
"More like who," she answered easily, and the man began to sputter in surprise as she laughed.
"What-who-never mind!" she laughed again.
"You write all those pervy books but don't seem to understand that women have needs too, Sensei," she teased as she continued walking.
"I'm just surprised... was it any good?" he asked hesitantly, arm coming around her shoulders and she nodded.
She moved to where she was walking ahead and turned before beaming happily, face practically glowing.
"The best, " she said with a wink over his shoulder. Kisame's eyes widened when the sage looked suspiciously at the mountain pond.
"Ah ah, don't even think about it sensei. Well, I mean you could, but you'd just find yourself looking at an unconscious naked man," she said as the sage shot her a wide-eyed look.
"Unconscious?! What did you do to him?" he demanded, looking alarmed.
"I could write a few chapters of your new book if you want?" she offered cheekily. The Sage and Kisame gaped at her before both men's faces flushed red.
"Chapters? A few chapters?" he squeaked. Her grin turned a little saucy, and he sighed.
"Yeah, no thanks," he finally said as she pouted.
"You've read my smut before, you know I'm a pretty good writer," she teased as the Sage's ears turned red.
"Besides, you could do with more of a women's perspective in your books, they are starting to get a bit repetitive," she said as she took to the trees. The Sannin looked highly affronted as he leaped to follow.
"Repetitive?!" he yelled as he followed her out of the forest, their voices starting to fade as Kisame breathed a sigh of relief. As he pulled himself onto the rock to sunbathe and relax, he mentally noted that she hadn't been too far off the mark and drifted off to sleep.
