The mall was filled with chatter from Gem and Human alike. So far Death Battle has been an interesting watch and mostly everyone is eager to see the next combatants.
Lapis: So, what you are basically saying is any of us could also appear on Death Battle?
Peridot nodded rapidly.
Peridot: Yes! If these combatants are fictional then that could entirely mean all of us are as well.
Peridot moved like an excited disobedient child (which she basically is). All of the Crystal Gems including Rose Quartz and Spinel sat on a restaurant table with extremely comfortable and spiffy dining chairs.
Steven: I don't really know Peridot... i feel as real as I can possibly be.
Steven felt someone pinch his arm.
Steven: Ow!
It was Spinel who had a goofy look on her face before noticing Steven's reaction.
Spinel: Oh wow! He really is super duper real!
Spinel announced as she danced around while Steven rubbed where his arm was pinched.
Rose Quartz: Calm down please Spinel, the possibility that we are also fictional is not out of the question. After all not even we gems know the full extent of the universe and reality.
Garnet: We all may feel real but that doesn't mean we are or can.
Garnet said touching her body and looking down at it.
Pearl: Than what about everything we've done? If it isn't real than what was the reason?
Peridot thought viciously to the point she was sinking into her chair.
Amethyst: We could ask the weird space DVD player about it. Maybe they can tell us... are you going to eat that?
Amethyst asked pointing at a cookie which sat on Bismuth's plate.
Bismuth: Uh, no.
Amethyst snatches the cookie and bites down on it.
Blue Diamond: If I can interrupt you all...
Blue Diamond said appearing beside them her white flowing hair looking as elegant as always.
Blue Diamond: I couldn't help but take interest in the possibility that we may not be real beings, if we are all in agreement we can consult White Diamond about this theory and see what we can uncover.
CDVV: Attention all Gems and humans, the next episode is ready for immediate viewing! Please pick up the pace with your activities and return to the cinema!
The voice of the CDVV aka the weird space DVD player according said through the PA announcement system. Soon after the second episode the CDVV created an entire mall that outmatched the biggest malls on Earth and gems and humans spread around to various activities inside it.
Rose Quartz: It would be best if we put this discussion on hold for the time being and return to the Cinema but the episode starts without us.
Rose Quartz said out loud as she stood up from her dining chair along with everyone else as they all began to make their way back to the Cinema.
Entering it all of the gems and the humans returned as well as they sat back down, some has food and drinks while others had nothing out of choice.
White Diamond: Are we all here?
White said out loud as she looked around and everyone nodded. With that the episode started.

Wiz: Superheroines. Millions have been drawn to these modern myths of comic book lore.
Priyanka: Oh, some heroines! I sure hope a certain someone doesn't open his mouth.
Boomstick: Or you could, uh, just be drawn to the way they're drawn.
Priyanka smacked her chair in frustration causing a bit of popcorn to fly before settling on the floor.
Wiz: Like Anna Marie, the Rogue.
They are shown Rogue.
Boomstick: And Diana Prince, the Wonder Woman.
And Wonder Woman.
Connie: They are very imposing and pretty.
Connie said with star eyes, to her they looked like ideal idols to look up to.
Steven: Like you.
Steven said smiling at her with love in his eyes.
Connie playfully hit his shoulder as they kept watching.
Wiz: He's Boomstick and I'm Wizard.
Boomstick: And we're here to watch two chicks duke it out! In a CATFIGHT!
Priyanka groaned once again as she sank into her seat, Boomstick will not stop anytime soon.
Wiz: It's our job to analyze their weapons, armor, and skills-
Boomstick: And maybe a few other things.
Wiz: -to find out who would win... a Death Battle.

Wiz: Rogue has possessed a variety of different powers over the years. For this duel in particular, we will use the most well-known version: the original iteration from the comics and television show. Her deadliest weapon is her own skin. With just a touch, she absorbs a person's memories, talents, personalities, and abilities, whether superhuman or not, to use them herself.
Jasper: Ha! Relying on other's strength is for weaklings!
Steven: Jasper, I have my mom's abilities.
Jasper: Except Steven!
Jasper announced while the Diamond's, Peridot and a number of the Crystal Gems were interested in the ability.
Boomstick: Too bad it knocks them out cold. And if she holds on long enough, it's game over.
Greg: So she has the touch of death?
Lars: Meh, it's more like the mildly devastating touch than touch of death.
Lars sat leaned on his chair as he sipped on a soda of unknown but tasty liquid.
Wiz: Tenacious foes like Juggernaut can resist it, but in the end, nobody is safe from Rogue's parasitic touch. For every second of contact, Rogue can keep these powers for a full minute. Though sometimes, there's unforeseen side effects.
Yellow Diamond: Such a powerful ability wielded by a human, I can just imagine how much devastation can be done by a simple touch.
Nice Lapis: What worries me is whether or not she would be able to absorb gem abilities?
Connie: I mean, you guys are technically non-organic beings while the people Rogue absorbed are human to some extent.
Boomstick: She held on to Ms. Marvel for so long she absorbed her powers permanently. Now, she's got super strength, speed, and near. Not that I blame her, though. I'd be holdin' on to Ms. Marvel for as long as I could! Plus, then when she's unconscious I could-
Pearl: Right, other than that comment Rogue certainly is a powerful human. The combination of super strength, speed and near invulnerability makes her tougher than most of us here.
Wiz: She also gained a seventh sense, the ability to unconsciously predict her opponents' moves.
Amethyst: Damn, imagine having being able to predict moves without any effort.
Amethyst buried her face with some popcorn causing some to mess up the chair with litter.
Jasper: Wouldn't stop me, I can easily beat anyone through pure strength alone.
Lapis stared blankly at her.
Lapis: Yet you weren't able to to stop me from dragging both of us into the ocean when we fused.
Jasper looked annoyed at the water gem's comment.
Jasper: Shut up!
Boomstick: But her seventh sense doesn't seem to always work. That or the writers just forgot about it 'cause, uh, Rogue gets her ass kicked a lot.
Wiz: For plot convenience.
Steven: Story of many comic books, the writers give their characters abilities with too much power so they have to either change it or just ignore that the ability exists.
Doug: Especially the older comics...
Connie stared at her father a little stunned.
Connie: Dad? You read comic books?
Doug chuckled as he nodded.
Doug: Of course, well I use to at least when I was younger and before I met this lovely woman.
Doug wrapped his arm around his wife causing her to chuckle.
Boomstick: And damn, she's got a hot ass.
Blue Pearl: Is that a human compliment?
Garnet: If you see it that way, yes.
Wiz: What?
Boomstick: Hey, that counts as a superpower in my book, Wiz! But while she's not invincible, she doesn't have any real weaknesses either. She's a classy southern belle, who I'd like to take out to dinner.
Sapphire: That's kind of romantic.
The blue tiny sapphire commented as she sat next to Ruby.
Wiz: Who can fly, lift buildings, and kill people just by touching them.
Boomstick: Never mind.

Wiz: To the uneducated nerd, Wonder Woman may seem a cheap clone of Superman.
A picture of the Man of Steel himself is shown in all his glory.
Several of the gems and humans watching looked at the ultimate hero with looks of admiration.
Rose Quartz: This Superman looks to be one of the most promising heroes we will see.
Spinel: I bet he is one of the most powerful heroes we'll see with how he is presented.
Spinel was sat next to The Diamonds with a smile on her face.
Boomstick: With Superboobies!
Wiz: But in reality, she's a whole different story. Created from Earth, born by gods, trained by ancient warriors-
At the mention of birthed from gods and the Earth the Diamond's interest in this super heroine increased tenfold. Many gems consider them to be gods to an extent and they would just love to see what true gods are like and the power they hold.
Boomstick: Maker of Wonder Bread! Designer of the Wonderbra!
Wiz: Boomstick, that's not true!
Boomstick: See, I can do it too, Wiz!
Amethyst begins to chuckle which evolves into a laughing fit, the wonder bread has her in it's grip.
Garnet looks at Amethyst with her usual stoic expression which barley changes.
Garnet: Would you like a time out Amethyst?
Amethyst shakes her head as she tries to get her laughing under control.
Amethyst: No, just, just continue!
Wiz: Wonder Woman is the incredibly powerful and near-invincible ambassador of Themyscira, and self-appointed protector of the Earth.
Another combatant that is near-invincible and would be a tough opponent for anyone in the Cinema.
Boomstick: And she dresses like a stripper. A patriotic stripper!
Priyanka sighs at Boomstick's words she's been ignoring his past few comments about the heroines but it still angers her.
Rutile Twins: What's a stripper?
Rose Quartz squinted her eyes and looked a little disgusted, she came across a strip club a few years before she became pregnant with Steven. Humans are fascinating and wonderful creatures but were still very crude and disturbing when they want to be.
Rose Quartz: It would be best if you were not to know.
Wiz: Diana Prince has been trained by the Amazons as a master combatant since childhood. She dueled the best of the best for the right to be crowned Wonder Woman. Her unearthly powers are divine, granted by ancient Greek gods and goddesses. From Demeter, she received superhuman strength and durability.
White Diamond: These Greek gods sound interesting. Who are they?
Connie: Um, well obviously no gem-made religion so the Greek gods are a pantheon who were thought to be the rulers of Earth by the Greek people in ancient history ruled by Zeus the king of Olympus.
Connie had said recalling what she learned about Olympus and the Greek pantheon of gods in class when she was younger.
Boomstick: And you know that bitch mailman god with the wingy shoes?
Wiz: Hermes?
Hermes is shown to them.
Jasper: He looks pathetic, I could easily crush him god or not.
Jasper boasted as she eyed the meagre-looking god on the screen.
Boomstick: Whatever. He gave Wonder Woman the ability to fly and move at hypersonic speed.
Peridot's eyes widened as did many gems and humans, hypersonic is around 3,500 mph (5,633 kph) which is Mach 5 or more and without any kind of aircraft Wonder Woman is able to reach those speeds with apparent ease.
Pearl: It's fascinating how her body is easily able to handle speeds that would rip the skin of humans, even if she was born from gods that is still a majority impressive feat.
Wiz: She was given numerous other powers from enhanced senses, animal rapport, and blessings of wisdom and empathy.
Mean Lapis: Why would she need those abilities?
Sadie: It's probably so she can be prepared for most situations.
Steven: What situation would she need to tame a wild animal?
Boomstick: Aside from the obvious cannons rested right below her neck, she's got a pretty bizarre mix of weaponry. Her Lasso of Truth is a piece of unbreakable string that, well, makes you tell the truth.
Pearl looked at Amethyst who was chewing on some popcorn, that is until she noticed Pearl looking at her causing her too eat slower and flash her a cheeky grin.
Amethyst: Ha, ha sorry...
Pearl: Just don't do it anymore...
Hippolyta: What other depraved thoughts must you be thinking?
Hippolyta had the lasso of truth around Steve Trevor.
Steve Trevor: God, your daughter's got a nice rack.
Boomstick: Hell yeah, she does!
Connie: That's very rude, yes a woman may look nice in certain aspects but you can just keep it to yourself.
Connie said out loud as she sat comfortably on her chair.
Wiz: She uses her tiara as a long-range throwing weapon, using its razor-sharp edge to slice open her enemies' throat.
Emerald: Isn't Wonder Woman suppose to be a hero? Why is one of her moves slicing open someone's throat?
Garnet: Sometimes someone would be so evil and disgusting violence and death is the only answer.
Pearl nodded agreeing with Garnet with a stoic expression on her face.
Boomstick: Wonder Babe here uses the Bracelets of Submission, indestructible steel gauntlets forged from the remains of Zeus' legendary Aegis. These babies can block all sorts of attacks.
Her doing exactly that is shown.
Wiz: She has persevered throughout the years, fighting a huge variety of foes, even killing the Greek God of War, Ares.
Diamonds (except Rose): What?! How is that possible?
Many gems were also stunned by the feat accomplished, killing a God but not just any God but the God of War.
Eyeball: Aren't gods suppose to be indestructible and eternal?!
Rose Quartz: Even gods can be pushed to their limits, us Diamonds should know that better than everyone.
She looked at the rest of the Diamonds who nodded to her words.
Boomstick: Hear that, Kratos? A chick beat you to it!

Death Battle
Rogue is shown flying in the sky. The Invisible Jet descends in background and Wonder Woman flies out. She kicks Rogue in the face, and both superheroines fly down to the ground.
Steven: A very rough first introduction, this is gonna be awesome though.
The half-gem stuffed some popcorn in his mouth.
Announcer: Fight!
Wonder Woman throws her tiara at Rogue, runs behind her, and roundhouse kicks her. The kick sends Rogue flying, Wonder Woman then flies after her, kicking her multiple times before dashing behind her again and punching her. She grabs a dazed Rogue with the Lasso of Truth and slams her on the ground numerous times, drags Rogue near her, and uppercuts her in the air. She darts around the airborne Rogue with a flurry of punches.
Priyanka winced at the hard strikes, as a Doctor she would know just what kind of damage these strikes would do to the average human body, broken bones, bursted lungs and more.
Lapis: Human fights are a lot more gruesome than our fights, that's for sure.
Rose Quartz: Agreed.
Rose remembers when Greg broke his arm when they first started dating, sure it wasn't from a fight but it was still gruesome none the less. An arm being bent the entirely wrong way is something no one wants to see.
When she punches Rogue in the face, however, Rogue absorbs some of Wonder Woman's powers, and she absorbs more of her powers when she takes off her glove and touches her leg. While Wonder Woman breaks free, Rogue strikes her from behind, elbows her in the neck, and sends her soaring with a quick kick combo.
Army: Wonder Woman is already making some mistakes.
Malachite: She's unknowingly giving Rogue more powers by hitting her in the face.
Pearl: It's why you should always observe your opponent's and try and figure out their weakness.
Amethyst: Something we should of done more...
All of the Crystal Gems agreed with their short friend. They did have a bad tendency of not thinking things through and planning.
Wonder Woman throws out her Lasso of Truth again, but Rogue grabs it, tugs it, and slams her on the ground. Rogue flies behind her again and launches her tiara again, but Rogue blocks it, -propelling it back on her head- kicks her in the air and uppercuts her. Wonder Woman stops Rogue with several punches, but her finishing kick is blocked and she is knocked in the air.
Rogue flies after her in the air, and is responded by a commotion of punches, Rogue blocks one of them and delivers some of her own, which is later blocked by Wonder Woman. She is then knocked down to the ground by a dive kick delivered by Wonder Woman. Both combatants fly down to the ground. Wonder Woman dashes towards her with a flying kick, but it is interrupted by Rogue, who grabs her.
Jasper: Amazing fighting skill.
Jasper said with a rare compliment.
Aquamarine: They are moving so fast that it's quite difficult to keep up with them.
Rogue: Good night, sugar!
Rogue proceeds to plant a kiss of death upon Wonder Woman's lips, killing her.
Everyone stayed silent at that, what can they really say when a super heroine is called with a kiss of death.
Pearl: At least it's one of the lesser gruesome deaths we've seen so far.
Announcer: K.O.!
Rogue strikes a pose.little

Results
Boomstick: Woo-hoo-hoo! This goes down in history as the best Death Battle ever!
Priyanka: I can only imagine why he thinks that.
The woman rolls her eyes at Boomstick's apparent fascination with the death of Wonder Woman.
Wiz: Poor Wonder Woman was more than a match for Rogue, but then she touched Rogue's face.
Boomstick: Wonder Woman is a trained fighter, so naturally she would strike her opponent's weakest spots, like the neck, stomach, joints and, well, the face.
Rainbow Quartz: In the end it's Wonder Woman's training which caused her failure.
Wiz: In the end, her failure was a result of her thorough Amazonian training.
Majority of the gems agreed, after all they most gems present fought a war against a certain Quartz.
Boomstick: And her stripper outfit! Her leg was just begging to be grabbed there. Though personally, uh, I might have grabbed elsewhere.
Wiz: Wonder Woman's powers may be godly, but Rogue's taken similar powers before, so there's no reason to say she couldn't here. Adding Wonder Woman's strength and speed to Rogue's own power gave her a huge advantage, drastically turning the tide.
Peridot; If you are able to handle and take powers from people like Ms. Marvel I no doubt believe you can handle Wonder Woman's powers.
Boomstick: A few high flying combos and our favorite X-Girl had Wonder Woman on the ropes.
Wiz: And with her combined reflexes, speed, and seventh sense, she outmaneuvered Wonder Woman with one fatal kiss.
Boomstick: Rogue sure "made out" in this fight!
The crystal gems besides Amethyst who chuckled, groaned at the pun. The tiny Amethyst has made several terrible puns and it irritates most of them.
Wiz: The winner is Rogue.

The episode ended as the credits rolled and music played along with it.
Pearl: That was an interesting episode...
Peridot: Watching these episodes has me interested in the apparent other world they came from, so many possibles could be at play here.
Steven: Before you go on a rant Peridot, White Diamond.
Steven pointed over to the grandmother and creator of all other gems who instantly looked at Steven.
White Diamond: Yes Steven?
Steven gestures towards the screen where the credits reached their end.
Steven: It's been bothering most of us but if the characters in Death Battle are fictional could that mean we are too?
A confused and intrigued look appeared on White's face as she began to think about it as well.
White Diamond: Well Steven-
CDVV: I detect confusion among the viewers, the question of whether or not you all are real or fictional has been brought up and so this will be shown.
The screen flickered as a large map appeared of the universe, the SU universe.
CDVV: This is your universe, universe-42013.
Seeing the entirety of their universe for the first time everyone looked intrigued and curious of what their universe holds and is like beyond their own galaxy.
A certain galaxy is zoomed into.
CDVV: This is the Milky Way galaxy. The galaxy which holds all you know.
Earth is shown and zoomed into.
CDVV: And of course this is Earth, home to humanity and now gems.
It is zoomed out as the entirety of the universe is shown again.
CDVV: Yet this is not the only universe in existence, moving past the edge of your own universe.
Zooming out a massive and endless set of large amount of universes is shown.
CDVV: This is the multiverse home to your universe and many others similar to your own. Some may hold similars or large differences. For example the old Diamond Authority never existed in some and others gems never existed only humans.
Zooming out even further an even bigger and something more wonderful is shown.
CDVV: This is the Omniverse, home to many Universes and their Multiverses. Including you own. Almost all of this originates from from one singular multiverse and the universe which exists in their.
We enter one multiverse and then a universe before returning to the Milky Way galaxy and finally Earth.
Steven: Wait, that's Earth!
CDVV: Indeed, this is Earth of the universe-0 of which every single multiverse and the Omniverse itself hails from. Your universe and many others were created by the humans living on this Earth. Or more specifically you were all created by a woman named Rebecca Sugar.

CDVV: She created the Steven Universe TV show which aired on the 4th of November, 2014 and in return the universe and multiverse of the Steven Universe TV show were created...
The CDVV let the information sink in, they were all created by one singular woman in universe-0.
Everyone was silent trying to wrap their brains around this newly revealed fact.
Steven: So does that mean we aren't real?
Steven asked with a sad look on her face.
The CDVV stayed silent as it thought of an acceptable answer.
CDVV: No, you are all as real as you possibly can be. The creation of the Steven Universe TV show only serves as your origin. With the creation of it, your universe came into existence... all of you are real and exist in the omniverse and even beyond in some form.
Lars: But wait, does that mean all of the combatants in Death Battle are real as well.
CDVV: Indeed...
The screen flickered again and the words "Next episode begins tomorrow morning, get some much needed rest. The CDVV has added a hotel for all present"
And with a flick the screen shut off. Everyone began to get up from they're seats and walk out of the Cinema.
