Luigi's Mansion 2: Dark Moon

Chapter Thirty Four: The Grand Reopening

Boo Gang Behind Bars

Article by The Grassland Press

The people of Sarasaland can rest easy this morning upon the announcement that all known remnants of the notorious Boo Gang, the band of ghosts that has been terrorizing every known corner of the world, are now in custody. In a terrorist plot that involved crimes ranging from defacement of a historical preservation site to the kidnapping of Princess Daisy herself, the Boos' victory seemed assured until a great hero of the Mushroom Kingdom arrived on the scene.

Luigi Mario, perhaps the greatest ghost hunter to ever live, as well as the arch enemy of the Boos' evil mastermind, King Boo, is reported to have charged right into the occupied Evershade Valley with no regard for his own safety. Eye witnesses report that once the terrible onslaught began, there wasn't a ghost alive that could stand between Luigi and his beloved Princess Daisy, with many of the details of his rampage not suitable for readers of all ages.

"He's a madman, I tell you." Professor Elvin Gadd said when questioned. "I could hear his screams of rage from the bunker, and I saw the ghosts crashing into the walls… he even turned one into a pet, and calls it a 'good doggie'. I've created a monster, I tell you, a monster… and the only thing that cools his blood-feud with King Boo is his love for Princess Daisy."

All members of the Boo Gang have been pressed into portraits (apparently the prescribed method of containing evil ghosts), and will be put on display in one of Evershade Valley's new exhibits. More details as the story develops.

Princess Daisy Rescued by Ghost Hunter

Article by The Easton Gazette

The whole kingdom of Sarasaland was in shock when they learned that their beloved ruler, Princess Daisy, had been kidnapped by King Boo during his plot to conquer and enslave the peaceful, innocent ghosts of Evershade Valley. Never one to sit on her hands when her kingdom is in trouble, the Princess insisted on going into battle right alongside her longtime love, Luigi Mario and his mentor, Professor Elvin Gadd.

"It was my own fault I got captured." Our beloved Princess had to say. "Luigi was just such a stud and so good at it that he made ghost hunting look easy… it is not. He capturing ghosts by the dozens without breaking a sweat, while I was struggling to get even one Boo by myself, and I never should have tried to take on King Boo… I wasn't ready. Luigi's gonna teach me, though, and we're gonna be ghost hunters together, isn't that romantic?"

Luigi is already a celebrated hero in the Mushroom Kingdom, and is quickly gaining fame right here in Sarsaland, winning the hearts of even the children of our great kingdom for helping to reopen one of the most popular vacation destinations in the land.
