Hello Everyone! Another chapter for you all and another thank you from me! I just I am so grateful for everyone reading this and especially grateful for Kharaki who has been reviewing every chapter. It helps me get a view on your thoughts and suggestions, considering that I am always looking to improve my writing. No one is ever perfect and I know I definitely am not.

With that out of the way I wanted to answer the latest questions. Like all other people that watched RWBY I do have my own personal pairings that I like, and of course that can come into the story as well. Of course I may throw some things out of the blue, but I already have the main pairings in my head already. Of course I do not want to spoil it for anyone though. As for Cardin, he won't disappear like in the story, but... Well that's another little secret for you to find out! ;P Thank you for everything and enjoy!

Ruby was really enjoying this. The fact that Weiss had actually set an alarm to make sure that she was awake for Ruby's workout was a surprise but now it brought her joy. Joy in the fact that the heiress was currently sweating up a storm and panting as if her life depended on it. The heiress had insisted that she would do whatever workouts that Ruby would do so she could better understand her younger partner. It was going alright for Weiss as she was using lower weights than Ruby was on each machine. That was until she had hit the treadmill running that Ruby did. Even at a lower speed the heiress did not have the endurance to go the length that Ruby usually did. It caused multiple times where the heiress almost fell off the machine with how tired she was, and Ruby had to catch herself to make sure she didn't laugh out loud at the heiress's expense.

Though towards the end that did lead to another bout of sparring between the two. Weiss was confident that she would succeed since she had the much higher aura levels of the two, but soon found out that Ruby was just that much faster. It also didn't help that her muscles must have also been screaming at her from her earlier exercises. So altogether the day was looking to be a fun one, especially when Weiss finds out that Ruby still has another work out session in the afternoon. She cannot wait to lay that one on her.

Ruby was absolutely having the worst day ever! It started out fun with torturing Weiss through her normal workout regimen, but went downhill right after that. The two had decided to take a shower in the training rooms showers, much to the heiresses displeasure, as Yang was currently in the shower in their room. Based on what Blake said she had just gone in and thus the two opted to go back down and shower there. Luckily no one else was taking a shower at the time or Weiss might have just combusted right then and there. It was bad enough that the heiress had ever taken a shower in front of another person, but in a room full of naked women when she was still trying to deny liking them? It would have destroyed her. Though it did make Ruby a little more self conscious when in there with her. True Weiss was a sight to behold in her own right, but Ruby wasn't used to people actually paying mind to her body either.

Then from there Weiss had recovered rather well when they returned to their room to gather their items for the journey to Vale that Weiss wanted to do with the day. By the time the two entered Yang and Blake had left to do whatever they were going to do for the day and Ruby could only wonder if her sister was actually taking the black haired woman on a date. The next part was Weiss's surprise for the day though. It was shopping, and no not the good kind of shopping. Weiss wanted to shop for clothing, clothing to wear at formal events or out in the town. Not clothes that made sense to a huntress-in-training such as combat gear. No it had to be dresses and lady stilts and up to date fashion trends. Ruby had never in her life even seen what the current fashion trend was. If it came to regular clothes Ruby would go into the clothing store with Yang and her dad and simply find the most generic shirt and buy it. If it had a nice red shade to it, then that was the best. Of course then one might ask where she got all her rose themed clothing from. For that Ruby would only have to say that the band that took Ruby's submitted song had been very willing to send her some memorabilia for their single biggest hit in their careers.

To add to the horror of the day Weiss was not only shopping for herself. No, she was shopping for Ruby too. At first it seemed to only be for Weiss, but after she finally found three outfits that she liked after an hour of going in and out of the fitting room she laid the bomb down. She was going to help Ruby herself choose three outfits. So Ruby couldn't even try to drift off into her own thoughts as she was handed outfit after outfit and forced to try to be a runway model in front of her partner. The worst part? After an hour Ruby's mind had somehow decided that it was fun to do this and see what Weiss's reactions were going to be. After the second hour Ruby was sure that she was trying clothes on that she already had tried on before, but with so many clothes being tried on she wasn't sure. Finally after the third hour they had the three outfits. A simple red dress, a black blouse with red skirt, and an ornate black dress that revealed her back. Weiss had said that it looked beautiful on her due to her slender body, allowing the dress to show off her muscles on her back.

Weiss had also tried and failed to get Ruby into lady stilts. Luckily it didn't take long for her to realize that there was no way that it was going to happen, especially when Ruby had almost broken her ankle walking out in a pair. So instead she decided to get Ruby a matching style of flats for her. Still that did make them the fanciest shoes that Ruby owned, though she would still prefer her combat boots. Ruby wouldn't say anything about it though, because she felt a little intimidated by Weiss buying all these clothes. Especially when it was far beyond anything she could ever afford at the moment. Maybe when she was a huntress, but even then she never planned on spending the lien on such things.

Afterwards Weiss took the two of them to a nice little café that had some delicious coffee. Her words, not Ruby's. Ruby wasn't really a coffee type of person, though she did see the incentive in the beverage. Something that gives you more caffeine than any soda could really sound rather charming on a busy study day. Luckily for the red hooded woman she only needed her cookies to achieve the same effect so she never tried dabbling in the beverage herself. Instead she ordered a strawberry smoothie that they had on the menu, much to the ire of Weiss. Though Ruby will admit that the smoothie was rather good, so if that's to go by the coffee must be good too. Although it would be hard to tell because Weiss had ordered a mumble jumble of a beverage that had a t least six different words that Ruby had never heard of before.

After their little refresher the two decided that was enough of Vale for the day and headed back to Beacon. Ruby was rather thrilled by this as she would never have expected something so trivial to take so much of her energy. She felt more tired after all that shopping than she had after her morning workout, and it was the exact opposite for Weiss. Weiss looked rather refreshed after their shopping trip, as if it somehow gave her energy. Maybe that is why she got the coffee after? That was a theory she would rather have other people test, she saw the side effects of when people are addicted to the stuff. Especially if professor Oobleck is anything to go off of, she would rather prefer to not have a cup of the stuff constantly in her hands.

Even if they were back on campus that didn't excuse the two from their entire day together. So it led to them doing a study session in the library, bouncing off asking questions to each other in a mock quiz to catch the other off guard. It actually led to some laughs between the two as they kept trying to one up each other over and over again. For the first time in many years Ruby felt so happy, even if for a small moment and it felt nice. It did end up proving that Weiss was the smarter of the two, but she was still happy with Ruby's progress. Especially since Ruby had technically skipped two years of education to get into Beacon. They caught sight of a couple of their classmates throughout their study session and snorted at some of the looks that they got from their fellow peers. Apparently something about a mirthful Ice Queen and laughing reaper had caught them very off guard. Their loss, this was actually a grand time.

In fact it was so grand that for the first time since she arrived at Beacon Ruby almost forgot about her afternoon training. Weiss would have liked that, but alas Ruby remembered only because of her alarm she had set earlier in the morning. Of course it was a repeat of the morning, with Weiss cursing everything while trying to keep up with Ruby. Though Ruby was thoughtful enough to ask ahead if Yang or Blaek would be back in the room when they were finished. They were not going to be home for quite some time still so she had an idea to pay Weiss back for the clothes and get a good laugh in as well.

That led to this perfect moment. Ruby had somehow convinced Weiss that Ruby was the one that needed to clean up first. With that she snuck into the bathroom that had both a stand shower and a six foot long bathtub. From there she found her very special stash of lavender cleanser for the bathtub and filled the tub up with the lavender bubbles enveloping everything. At this point she also took out a couple of Yang's relaxation candles, mainly used in a vain attempt to help her with her anger issues, lit them and placed them around the tub. With this she opened the door and beckoned Weiss in.

"What is it Ruby?" whined Weiss, turns out after she is extremely tired she turns into a whiner. Good to know in the future, Ruby would much rather prefer a whiny Weiss than the Ice Queen.

"Well with you buying me clothes today, I thought I could do something for you. You know, instead of making you sweat up a storm." replied Ruby with a little playfulness.

"Like what?" Weiss asked as she arched her eyebrows.

"With this!" Ruby said as she gestured her hands out in the direction of the tub. She even added some finger wiggling to add that extra level of flair. "A nice relaxing soak in the tub for the princess. Paired with some nice relaxing candles, so she can just unwind after the busy day."

Weiss eyed the tub and took the whole picture into view. It did look rather enticing and after a few moments to ponder she cracked a smile. She was never used to someone that wasn't a family servant doing something like this for her. Unless they were ordered by her family beforehand has anyone gone out of their way to do something like this for her. Especially since she can see that Ruby has not taken her own shower yet. So Weiss raises a valid question "What about you? Where are you going to get clean?"

Ruby just smiles brightly, something that Weiss has rarely seen from her partner and she would love to see it more, before answering "I am going to take a shower in the communal showers. I am much more used to it than you are, I do take them twice a day."

Weiss felt a little odd that she was getting the special treatment compared to her partner. It almost reminds her of all the people that would smoosh up to her at her father's parties, all in hopes to get close to the heir of the SDC. Of course she mentally shook her head at that, Ruby was not trying to do that for her. No, she was trying to be a good teammate, if not a good friend. That last thought warms the icy heart of the heiress, despite living for seventeen years this would be the first time that she has ever had a true friend. So she asks a question that she would feel any good friend would say "Are you sure?"

Ruby just nods her head away and leaves the room to Weiss to relax and that is what she did. After such a long day of using her muscles she really needed this at the moment to just unwind. Her thoughts kept coming to the day that she had with Ruby. Of course there were moments that she was not the most happy with, mainly the two workouts that she had to do, but all in all it was a really good day. She had fun that didn't involve getting drunk or holding herself to too many standards. She went to a store that was not the top of the line that was expected of her nature, mainly for Ruby but she was also happy to not have to hold to snobbish of a façade there, and had a nice drink with Ruby. Ruby still showed many times that she was definitely not in touch with her feminine side as much today, mainly the total disregard of heels and smoothie at a well known café. Though Weiss will never fault the young woman for that, no she actually liked that side of her.

Ruby was not the average woman in the slightest and that made getting to know her all that more pleasant after the two had stopped trying to be at each other's throats. In fact seeing Ruby try out clothes that would be expected of a young woman was actually a surprise. The silver eyed woman was beautiful in almost everything that she wore today, which made it so much harder for Weiss to find any outfits for her. It is so hard to choose when you are only limited to three sets! Yet the outfit that Weiss loved the most would have been the black dress at the end, it had been a spur of the moment decision to have Ruby try it on and it was worth it. Weiss felt herself immediately heat up when Ruby did her spin in the outfit and revealed her bare back to Weiss. Now Weiss was used to seeing those types of dresses in the many parties that she had been to in her life, but it had a different effect when she saw it on her partner. The fact that Ruby was a slender woman with muscles constantly hiding beneath the surface of her skin showed perfectly in the outfit. It was a slender dress that hugged Ruby's body, showing off what was oftentimes hidden in the poof of her combat skirt, and with that the v-cut that went up her back showed all its sleek muscular tone.

If Weiss was anything like the brute of her team then she would have immediately whistled at this, luckily she was not. It still took her a moment to recover and hide her blushing face, but she was able to convince Ruby then and there that this dress was something that she needed. It also probably helped that it was the third and final outfit for Ruby, so she most likely agreed to just be done with the situation' but Weiss would make sure that she would wear it sometimes in the future. Any dances the school has Ruby would have to wear that outfit, and especially if she wished to escort Weiss to said dance. Wait, Ruby would escort her? Weiss slammed her hands to her face as it madly blushed at the mere thought of that and she groaned. It was getting harder and harder to try to hide her orientation from everyone, especially herself. If her father ever found out that would be the worst day of her life, Weiss shudders even at the mere thought of what the man might do in that situation. Deciding she needs to calm her mind down she focuses on some mind calming techniques and slowly slips into the bath more. Moans of pleasure escape her mouth as the warmth of the water engulfs more of her body and she takes in a long inhale of the calming lavender that surrounds her.

The rest of the night had been just relaxing before bed for the two as Weiss had seemed to be more shy after her bath. For what reason, Ruby had no clue. Yet when she woke up on Sunday she went to quickly get her morning workout out of the way. She knew that Yang was not a patient one, especially when she knew Ruby was up. So after her workout was done and she was freshly showered she journeyed up to her room to see if her sister was up. She entered the room to immediately get greeted with a bone crushing bear hug, a signature move of her older sister. Through her crushing lungs she squeaked out "Morning Yang.. Please.. Air." Going from a pleasant morning to begging for the life sustaining gas as the hug lasted longer and longer.

After a moment much too long Yang let go of Ruby while laughing and gave Ruby the chance to finally breathe again. It took almost a full minute for Ruby to fully recover from that vicious attack. "You ready for a fun day on the town, Rubes?" Yang asked her younger sister.

"Of course I am Yang." Ruby replied with some happiness in her voice. She wasn't exactly lying either, after her time with Weiss yesterday she was rather looking forward to it. Especially once she replenishes the cookie stocks, they were at dangerously low levels that could not sustain serious study sessions. Something that she would need with a few tests looming over the horizon. Of course that isn't to say that she wasn't looking forward to whooping her sister's butt in some air hockey. Of all the arcade games that the two sisters have played over the years it was the only one that Ruby could get the advantage in. Though Yang could practically stomp her in any other game it always came down to air hockey. Yang particularly didn't like losing, even if she played it off in hopes of not upsetting Ruby. So no matter what arcade they went to, Ruby knew that the two would be playing that game no matter what.

Soon the two sisters found themselves on an airship heading into Vale. It almost felt like the time that they were heading into Beacon itself, getting the amazing view of the city. The sky was so clear that if one looked hard enough they could even see the edges of the island of Patch. By all accounts it was looking to be another amazing day. Maybe Ruby's luck was starting to finally turn around, and she was quite excited about that.

As the two still stared down at Vale, Yang asked "So Rubes, what has been going on?"

Ruby looked over at her sister to see that she was studying Ruby herself. Feeling a little self conscious at this point Ruby shyly smiled and asked in a small tone "What do you mean?"

"I mean why have you been so unlike you." Yang replied when gesturing with her hands to all of Ruby. Ruby just tilted her head slightly at that so Yang decided to clarify. "You used to be so energetic and carefree. You didn't get into constant verbal fights at any provocation. Heck you didn't even beat down bullies like Cardin! So what is going on?"

Ruby was silent for a moment, her brain trying to find an answer that Yang would actually like. She knew that if she gave the wrong answer here she would not be getting any rest soon. She knew that if Yang would sense anything wrong that she would instantly try to baby Ruby again and she really didn't want that. Would anyone truly want that? So she hesitantly replied "I mean I am trying to become a huntress now Yang, and huntresses protect people no matter what. Also Weiss and I are on much better terms now so we shouldn't be bumping heads as much. So I am still your same little sister." Ruby studied Yang's face to see if she got her point across. The one good side to Yang's constant reliance on her anger is that she easily showed her emotions and that would greatly help here. Like right now she seems to be very skeptical still so she moves to steer the conversation elsewhere "So are you and Blake a thing?"

That gets a very vivid reaction out of Yang. She instantly blushes up and tries to stifle a cough with her hand and turn around. A grin grows across Ruby's face. Yang has dated in the past, but none have had her act like this, so Ruby decided that this moment was the perfect time to use her semblance. She zipped around to the other side of Yang to look at her again, and this caused Yang to try to turn the other direction again. Again Ruby used her semblance to look at Yang's face and Yang finally realized that she wasn't getting out of it. She just groaned and retorted "Not yet!"

Ruby's grin just grows more and she wiggles her eyebrows. She then replies in a singsong tone that Yang usually uses to tease her "But you want to."

Yang's groan only grows more as her blush starts to spread even farther across her body. She wipes her face with her hand and then shoots out "So what if I do!? Who wouldn't want a mysterious ninja as a girlfriend!"

Ruby just chuckles at Yang's embarrassment. This is the first time that she has ever seen her this way and it was too fun to not do anything about it. So she replied "That is true, you must have a lot of competition then?"

At this Yang tries to grab Ruby in a headlock, causing Ruby to yelp and hop away from her sister whose face was completely red; either from embarrassment or anger. She just started laughing harder and harder as Yang continued to groan more and more. Eventually Yang said "No, luckily I am the only one. Unlike you and your snow angel."

Ruby's laugh instantly died as she looked at Yang, she could feel her cheeks slowly start to heat up at that tease. Then she squeaked out "What do you mean?"

This time Yang wiggled her eyebrows and said "Come on Rubes, isn't it easy to tell that you and her make such a perfect couple? I could only imagine the children that you two will have.."

Before Yang could finish her sentence Ruby hops at her and whines "Yaaang! Weiss and I aren't dating, or even plan on dating!" Now it was Yang's turn to bark out in laughter, and at least it seems to calm the mood down. There was always something about Yang's laughter that seemed calming to Ruby. Will she admit it to her sister, no not at all. If she ever dared to, then Yang would only continue her teasing, as it was the easiest way to make her laugh.

The day still continued onwards and brought many fun moments to the sisters. Though Yang never truly got her answer on why Ruby was acting so different now compared to before she came to Beacon, she still saw some parts of her younger sister before her and that is all that mattered. Yang was sure that given enough time and energy Ruby would be back to her old self like nothing had changed at all. On Ruby's part she was correct in the assumption that Yang would try to baby her in the future and the air hockey game. Though both women were rather surprised by just the sheer size of the arcade that they went to, it made the one back in Patch seem like a childs room and not the actual business. It might have something to do with the amount of children present on the island compared to Vale itself, but even that is a scratch. After all Patch had one of the two junior combat academies in the kingdom of Vale so it would have a decent amount of people for the arcade.

Ruby helped pick at many games at the arcade to play, mainly because Yang went straight to the air hockey table in hopes of ending Ruby's winning streak. Just like always Yang lost and was quite bitter about it, even mumbling about how the older sister shouldn't lose like that. So Ruby strategically picked out games that she knew Yang would line, such as the high striker, and avoided games such as whack-a-grimm. Yang is forbidden from playing whack-a-grimm after she completely destroyed a machine trying to beat Ruby in the past. Ruby had the speed, but Yang had the power and after slowly losing to her younger sister she decided that was the better way to win. Their dad was not happy when he got the bill for that one.

After almost half of the day was spent in that one arcade, and the worst part is they could have spent even more time and never went to the same machine twice, the two sisters went to eat at a nearby ramen stand. They both ordered the largest bowl the old man had, Ruby could have sworn that she saw the man at the dust shop that she frequented in Vale, and had a speed eating contest. Yang barely won that one and Ruby only lost because her mouth was smaller than Yang's. Of course Yang only teased about it in some sexual innuendo that Ruby really did not want to hear from her half sister, just imagine if their father was here.

Afterwards the two headed to a bakery that was recommended by a second year student that Yang was friends with for their amazing cookies. Once inside Ruby ordered about three dozen cookies as it should keep her going until she got her next stipend of allowance from their father. Of course Yang also got something, although Ruby was really questioning the whole tuna flavored cake that she got. Why would anyone want to eat a sweet that tasted like fish? Yang on her end said it was something that Blake really liked and thus wanted to share it with her. Awe, Yang was crushing so hard on her partner and Ruby had to hold back some coos at her now innocent older sister. Though Ruby still doubted the cake, heck even the worker doubted the cake and they made the monstrosity.

Finally with them getting the fun out of their system and having bought what they wanted for the day the two headed back to Beacon on the next airship. At this point their flight had a glorious view of the waning sun over the horizon, so Ruby just looked at the beauty that it washed over the world before it departed out of view. Once the sun was gone Ruby looked over at her sister once again and saw her cradling the cake like her life depended on it. She must really want to impress Blake with that thing, at this point Ruby was even refusing to call it a cake. The idea of sharing that thing with someone seemed almost like a war crime, but Ruby would not say that to Yang. Though Yang did ask if Ruby would share some cookies with Weiss.

That caused a lot of thought in Ruby's mind. It was her cookies and she definitely needed them to study, but Weiss did purchase many nice clothes for Ruby yesterday. Though Ruby could never guess when she would wear such clothing, it was still a nice act. Plus one should repay a nice act with another, and while Ruby did give Weiss that relaxing bath yesterday; luckily Yang never found out about the candles; Ruby wanted to do more. So she decided that yes she would over the princess a cookie, she doubted Weiss would eat such a thing with how she seemed to be hellbent on only healthy food since the two met but that didn't stop Ruby from offering.

Now that the two sisters arrived back at their dorm room they saw their partners for the first time in many hours. They were doing what you would have expected them to do, Weiss was studying like she always did, and Blake was reading another book. Though Ruby could tell that it was definitely smut the second that she saw it and telling from Yang's expression she could too. Though they did not mention that, instead Yang offered the cake and almost immediately after smelling its putrid scent Blake agreed to having some while drool leaked out of her mouth. On Ruby's side she offered one of her many cookies to Weiss, choosing for the safe bet with a simple sugar cookie. Expecting an instant no from the heiress Ruby was already starting to get ready to hide the study helpers when Weiss had agreed to the cookie. Stunned for a moment, Ruby absentmindedly holds out the cookie for Weiss to take and once she does Ruby takes another out for herself. One does not simply offer a cookie and expect the person to eat it alone, either you eat the cookie alone if it's yours or it becomes a shared experience through communal cookie eating.

Of course this gets another bark of laughter out of Yang until she takes her first bite of the monstrosity that they called a cake. To be fair on Yang's part she was basing if the cake was good off of Blakes reaction and by all signs Blake was loving it. Yang almost immediately gagged when the first bite touched her tongue and fought hard to force it down her throat before giving a weak "It's good" in hopes of staying on Blake's good side. Blake just rolled her eyes before grabbing Yang's plate and putting the remainder of Yang's piece on her plate. Apparently it was exactly to the taste of Blake so at least Yang got that right. Though it did cause Yang to head out to the nearest vending machine to grab a drink to wash whatever taste that was still lingering in her throat and that caused Weiss to actually stifle a laugh. It was such a rare thing that Blake looked stunned at seeing the heiress laugh, and that in turn caused Ruby to laugh out. Ruby could really get used to this.
