Right now it was Gym Class where a school day is happening before Syrus' duel with Makoto. Right now Syrus is not seeming to focus on the Tennis Match as he is mostly more concerned with his up coming duel.
"Syrus, hey Sy what is it?" Jaden asked him.
"H-Huh?" Syrus snapped out of it just in time for the ball top hit Syrus' face on his glasses dropping down. "Ow!" He collapsed on his back holding his face.
"Are you alright?" Miss Fontaine asked seeing that and walking over to check on him.
"Agh... I think."
They checked to see the ball didn't do any permanent damage at the very most cracked a lens on his glasses.
"We I still think you should sit down for a minute." she told him.
He slowly nodded walking down to sit at the bleachers beside Emily.
"That was close, are you really ok?" she asked him.
"Yeah sorry... just kept thinking about me dueling against Makoto this afternoon." Syrus admitted over towards her.
"I'm sure you'll do fine." Emily reassured him only to pause noticing what looked like an Obelisk Blue talking to Dr. Crowler and complaining. "Huh, what's going on over there?"
Syrus turned over noticing him. "I don't know. Never noticed him before..."
Emily frowned at that before walking over to listen in on the conversation.
"...Something about this Dr. Crowler!" the Obelisk Blue argued. "He's a menace!"
"I understand, and I'll see what I can do." Dr. Crowler mentioned.
"Um... excuse me, is something wrong?" Emily asked getting their attention.
They looked over as the Obelisk Blue glared over. "Don't you know? It's about the Duel Giant!"
"Duel Giant?" Emily asked hearing that. "Is that a rare card?"
"No you moron an Obelisk Blue Hunter that comes out at midnight!" the Obelisk Blue snapped.
"Obelisk Blue Hunter?" Emily asked only for Dr. Crowler's eyes to widen.
"Yes, it's quite unfortunate Miss Yuki. Your classmates are all so dreadfully frightened about being attacked... but perhaps you could help them with this? You're a very talented young lady and I'm certain if anyone could stop this Duel Giant it would be you." he mentioned.
"Crowler can she really do it? She did beat Zane but the Duel Giant is hunting Obelisks." the Obelisk Blue asked him.
"That's true, and Zane was holding back but I have the utmost confidence in Miss Yuki." Dr. Crowler smiled. "Do you think you can handle this Emily?"
"Huh, oh well I can try." Emily admitted as Dr. Crowler smiled before walking off with the Obelisk to explain why he suggested that to him as Emily walked back into the gym.
"What was that Ems?" Jasmine asked her curiously.
"Apparently someone is attacking Obelisk Blue students... have you heard of a Duel Giant?" she asked Jasmine while blushing as she rested her head on her shoulder.
Jasmine smiled rubbing her head as Mindy admitted over. "I had... he had been dueling Obelisks, and takes there rarest card after he beats them."
"What? That's horrible." Emily frowned before looking up in thought. "Dr. Crowler just asked me to try and capture him."
"He did what?" Jasmine asked in shock. "Is he out of his mind?"
Suddenly they hear a loud cry. Shocked they all turned to see what that was. A tennis ball that was served by Jaden hit Dr. Crowler's eye where a young man who tried catching it wasn't able too.
"Jaden!" Emily cried running over. "What did you do!?"
"Well I..."
"Jaden how dare you!? Can't you tell how to play Tennis!?" Dr. Crowler yelled over at him. "You know what as punishment spend the entire day here at the Tennis Club!"
"What? That's not fair!" Jaden complained.
"I don't want to hear it! Just do as I say!" Dr. Crowler snapped over.
Jaden flinched but frowned hearing that. The Good doctor stomped out as Syrus sighed over. "Well I think that's what happens if your not good at tennis."
"Don't blame me, it was the other guy who had some kind of wild serve... I barely managed to return it at all." Jaden complained.
"You mean Harrington?" Jasmine asked over.
"Yeah." Jaden nodded frowning.
"Alright cadet!" they looked over seeing the young man who's a brown haired young man wearing a gym uniform walking over. "Crowler instructs me as your coach for the day so get back to the field!"
"Oh man, come on I'm allowed to talk with my sister for a minute." Jaden argued. "Right Ems?"
"I think you should listen to him Jaden." she mentioned only to frown and turn to Mindy again. "Do you think I should say I can't look for the Duel Giant?"
"Well... you already accepted so you can't back out. But you can only find him at Midnight though." Mindy admitted over.
Emily shuddered. "Well... I should at least make sure my deck is ready then."
With that the four girls walked off together. Well they moved before Professor Banner walked in over. "Excuse me Alexis?"
"Huh, yes Professor?" she asked.
"I came to find Jaden. If you see him tell him someone found Chazz." Banner answered over.
"Oh, alright I'll be sure to let him know." Alexis nodded turning to Emily and the others. "I'll catch up with you three in a bit."
"Alright, see you Lex." Jasmine smiled.
They walked off as Alexis ran back in where the man, Harrington notices her over. 'Oh... Alexis is here?' He waved over. "Hey Alexis? You came to see me-?"
"Sorry." Alexis moved out of his way leaving him in a froze state walking to Jaden. "Jaden, Professor Banner just told me something."
"Huh? What is it?" Jaden asked confused.
"They found Chazz." she answered completely ignoring Harrington.
"Whoa really? Where is he at?" Jaden asked in shock from this.
"Why you-!?"
Surprised hearing the enraged yell they turned over. They saw Harrison looked really angry.
"Huh, is something wrong?" Jaden asked him.
"How dare you talk with someone as grand as Alexis!? Alright duel me now, winner takes her hand as her fiancee!" Harrington yelled over.
Alexis's eyes widened in shock at that.
"Well I'm not one to turn down a duel." Jaden grinned. "You're on Harrington."
With that the two headed over readying there Duel Disks.
"DUEL!" Jaden and Harrington called together.

Jaden blinked but smiled taking it back before looking around. "Oh where did Ems, and the others go?"
"That's a long story." Alexis mentioned starting to explain things to him.
Meanwhile with Syrus...
After getting a change of glasses he is checking over his Deck to be ready for his duel only to hear a knocking at the opened doorframe. To his shock Zane was there at the opened doorframe.
"Zane!" Syrus cried in shock.
"I was informed by Professor Banner that you challenged Makoto Inotsume?" Zane asked over with crossed arms.
"Oh... yeah, I did." Syrus nodded.
"You remember the type of style that is behind the Jinzo style? It was really me he is after but you stepped up in my place?" Zane asked him over.
"I know, but... I want to duel him Zane." Syrus admitted.
Zane stared over to him before closing his eyes. "Then good luck. Your gonna need it." Syrus blinked from that never getting that from Zane as his brother waved walking out. Syrus looked stunned at that before he smiled.
After a few minutes he looked at his Deck, and softly sighed before noticing a Dark Magician Girl card which he softly took staring at it. "I hope I make you proud..." He softly kissed the card placing it down, and ran out to find Makoto at the beach.
He eventually found him waiting at the water. "I was waiting for you, so you didn't run away?"
"Why would I run?" Syrus asked him.
"True, so shall we?" Makoto questioned turning to him.
Syrus nodded over as Jaden, Alexis, and Zane from a nearby distance watched.
"DUEL!"

"When Satelliteroid is sent to the graveyard, it forces every monster on your field to change battle position!" Syrus explained.

"And now Barbaroid attack Jinzo!" the large machine with it's doubled points fired a blast at Jinzo.
Makoto could only watch as his monster was destroyed and he lost the rest of his life points in one blast.

Makoto looked at the field in shock before frowning. "I... lost, to the Cyber Style. Not even to it, to someone imitating it."
"No." He looked over. "I wasn't using the Cyber Style. Cause I'm related to someone who uses it doesn't mean I use it." Syrus looked over towards him. "Your still powerful, and you would've won if I didn't a lucky draw. As I said before the Cyber Style has more influence then the Jinzo Arts so don't beat yourself up that you defeated Jinzo that easily. He said he didn't play by the style he was modeled after. Imagine if he did."
Makoto blinked at that before frowning. "We'll have a rematch, before we graduate and I will defeat you."
Syrus blinked but nodded over offering a hand. Makoto looked at his hand before taking it in a tight grip. "You and your brother, I'll defeat you both."
"I'll be waiting." Syrus told him.
Makoto nodded walking off as Zane only smiled seeing how Syrus handled himself.
"Man Syrus he really got his game on." Jaden smiled to Alexis seeing this. "I mean there was the Paradox Brothers but now look at him."
"Yeah, he's definitely maturing." she smiled.
Syrus turned over walking back with a sigh looking over noticing the two, and but also, "Z-Zane!?" Hearing that Jaden, and Alexis turned over not noticing the older Truesdale was also spectating.
"Zane, when did you get here?" Alexis asked him.
"I overheard he challenged Makoto so I want to see what he can do." Zane answered over looking at Syrus. "So Syrus, do you now learn it?"
"Huh?"
"The difference between knowing how to use a card and learning how to play it." Zane answered over. "From the moment you used Power Bond it looked as though you finally experienced it for yourself."
Syrus closed his eyes. "I'm not sure yet… I think I'm figuring it out though."
"I'll be waiting when you think your ready. Cause now I'm interested to see if you can use what you know now against me." Zane let him in on a secret before waving walking out. "Be seeing you three around."
Syrus looked stunned hearing that.
"Well Syrus, I'd say your on your way to being the duelist you dreamed of!" Jaden grinned over towards him before frowning. "Though I wish Emily would be growing as much as you."
Hearing that Alexis's eyes widened. "The Duel Giant!"
"What? What Duel Giant?" Jaden blinked to her hearing that.
"He's a dangerous duelist who challenges Obelisk Blue students at midnight to illegal ante matches. Dr. Crowler is having Emily go after him tonight." Alexis answered.
"What!?" Syrus asked shocked.
"Oh yeah, I think Chumley told us about him." Jaden recalled over. "Duels Obelisks at midnight, and wears the blazers of those he defeats. I have some thoughts on who it can be but he, and his friend headed off before I can be sure."
"Well, Emily's going to try and find him tonight... I just hope she'll be ok." Alexis frowned before closing her eyes. "I have a bad feeling about this though."
"Oh wait." Jaden checks his watch to the time.
"What is it Jay?" Syrus asked him.
"Oh it's about close to midnight." Jaden turned to Alexis. "Can I speak with Ems about something before she starts?"
"Yeah, of course you can." Alexis nodded at that. "Let's try to find her."
They walked together to the Girl's Dorm, and founded her leaving the dorm with Jasmine, and Mindy. Jaden grinned over. "Hey Ems!"
"Jaden, what are you doing here?" Emily asked seeing him.
"Alexis told me your about to face the Duel Giant, just thought I tell you something about him before then." Jaden answered over.
"No thanks Jaden, I appreciate it but knowing about his deck ahead of time is cheating." Emily pointed out. "I think I'll be ok though."
"It's not that. It's who I think he is." Jaden clarified.
"Oh! Wait you know who he is?" Emily asked stunned. "How?"
"Well not for certain but I have a sneaking thought." Jaden started as they paid attention.
Later...
Emily, Jasmine, Mindy, and Alexis are walking around to find the Duel Giant after it hit midnight. Soon they hear a cry.
"What was that?" Mindy asked fearfully as she and Jasmine shuddered.
Emily frowned before turning to Alexis as they nodded and ran towards the cry. They ran over finding a defeated Obelisk Blue look stunned with his Deck all around him.
"What happened?" Alexis asked him seeing that.
"The... the Duel Giant." the Obelisk said shaking.
"Where did he go?"
He pointed over to a direction at Mindy's question. Seeing that Emily took a nervous breath before running in the direction the Obelisk Blue pointed. The girls followed over where they see someone. Overhearing something the person turned over where they see it's really a big person with Obelisk Blue Blazers wrapped around his form, and sunglasses.
"You... you must be the Duel Giant." Emily mentioned shuddering slightly at how large he was.
"You got this girlfriend! Maybe get him to duel, if you show him THAT." Jasmine urged Emily over thinking that the Duel Giant will duel Emily if she bets over Ankuriboh.
Emily turned to her clearly a bit nervous but nodded. "I... I challenge you to a match."
"What do you have to offer?"
Flinching Emily took out her deck. "I have... Ankuriboh. A card the King of Games himself gave me."
She shows the card over to the Duel Giant to prove that over.
Seeing the card the Duel Giant made his decision. "So be it duelist!"
Emily nodded at that. 'Ok, I hope you're right Jaden...' "You can go first... Beauregard, or... is it Brier?"
The Duel Giant stiffened a bit from this before a voice broke out. "Shed the attire Beauregard." Someone jumped on from behind the rocks while the Duel Giant himself removed the blazers.
They were a couple of Ra Yellow male students one being short almost Syrus' size with a bowl cut, and the Duel Giant was a large boy having standard brown hair with them both having ear pieces, and microphones.
"Jaden was right... but why are you two hurting Obelisk Blue students?" Emily asked them.
"Well I guess that explains how you figured that out about us." the small student, Brier, removed his headpiece over. "He tried talking with us about it earlier but I gotten us away before then." He then glared over. " It's simple really why. The Obelisks that think they are high, and mighty are a bunch of assholes here. I won't just go home, and be little Brier again. "By dueling them illegally?" Emily asked hearing that only to pause. "Wait, you get nervous during duels? I can kind of understand that. I'm still a really timid duelist myself but we can both try and get past that together. You already have someone who I know will help you feel less nervous, he's right next to you."
"It won't be enough to quell my rage." Brier glared over. "I've have had it with these Obelisks being such ASSWIPES! I seen your duel against Zane, and by beating you, it would mean me, and Beauregard, and in turn the Duel Giant, would beat every Obelisk on this island. And right now after discovering us, now we have no choice but to duel you!" He pointed over towards her. "We both will make sure you won't forget your experience with the Duel Giant!"
Emily flinched but nodded activating her Duel Disk. Beauregard activated his own with Brier on the rocks behind him.
"DUEL!"

Poison Rose charged an attack firing it over which struck the two.

"Oh yeah! Way to go girlfriend!" Jasmine cheered over with Mindy clapping with a smile. Alexis just smiled over.
Brier grunted over sitting on his knees. "Agh... in the end we're nowhere close to Zane, and her level... We're through Beauregard."
Beauregard stared over thinking differently. "Not 'we'." He turned over to Emily boldly stating. "Please forget Brier turn me in instead."
"Beauregard?" Brier turned over to his friend stunned,.
"I couldn't let you get expelled after showing me what it's like to have a friend."
"But what about your dream as a game designer?"
"Not all dreams can come true." Beauregard had a sad smile saying that he is willing to abandon his dream as a game designer for Brier's sake.
Emily's eyes widened hearing that before turning to Alexis. "Can you believe he got away?"
Both Ra Yellows blinked turning over while Alexis looks confused but then realizes what is going on, and nodded over smiling. "Yeah. I didn't think the Duel Giant was so quick to be captured."
"Oh indeed." Mindy catching on nodded over with a small smile. "Looks like he's just too slippery for us."
"Then I guess this means our search is off." Jasmine grinned over before waving to the two Ras. "Don't stay out here longer or the Duel Giant will get you two!"
"What are you girls talking abou-" Brier stated before then pausing now realizing what there going at. There not turning them in, just pretending the Duel Giant gotten away from them. Flashing a grateful smile he nodded over turning to Beauregard. "Let's go Beauregard before he'll come over for us."
Beauregard nodded over giving a smile over to the girls as the two ran off. Emily sighed. "Do you think Dr. Crowler will believe us?"
"With us three vouching for you, he'll have no reason to doubt you." Mindy grinned with a wink as they walked back.
The next day...
Dr. Crowler sighed in exasperation facepalming sitting in his office with the four in front of his desk. "So you managed to find the Duel Giant but he gotten away quickly before you can confront him, and now all the cards he took are now returned?"
"That's right, I managed to win but… he got away." Emily admitted.
"Well... I suppose you've done all you could." Of course he can just report Emily for dueling illegally but that would be cheating over since he wouldn't solve the Duel Giant issue so he should just let this go since it doesn't look like the Duel Giant will strike again in the future. Not to mention lack of evidence. "Fine, head back to your dorm you four. Thanks for trying."
The four girls nodded at that.

bopdog111: Yeah indeed a new rivalry cause you guys should remember season 4's events with Makoto. As neither Zane or Syrus gotten into contact with the Underworld Deck quite yet it'll be interesting over.
Ulrich362: Definitely, but it could lead to an interesting dynamic. So what's next Bopdog?
