Pairings To Be Decided
No Magic!
Thanks to the incredible writers Son of Caliban to whom I say "REPENT! FOR TOMORROW YOU DIE!" I joke of course, but I am more of a Sanguinis guy myself. I recommend you read his 'From the Joy, Comes the Pain, From the Pain, Comes the Joy.'
Another writer I wish to credit is darkfire1220 and a urge people to read Viridescent. Just want to say thanks for his permission to use some of Quirk ideas.
I own nothing apart from part of this idea…I believe I've credited everyone; if not message me and I'll include in the Footnotes or this dribble dravel
(Gym)
All students had access to the gym facilities. Something that Hailey and Shinso took immediate advantage of, Shinso had been surviving Eraserhead Training Routine. Rather, had graduated from a living bruise to a partial living bruise.
As of right now, he tilted his upper body backwards as Hailey's head-height roundhouse kick sailed over it. He retaliated by throwing a kick aimed to take his opponent off her foot. It was blocked, but it allowed for Shinso to close the distance and unleash a flurry of punches and kicks, whilst trying to grab Hailey's arms.
Shinso, may have been taller than Hailey. But Hailey, possessed a long and skinny frame; meaning she was content to have distance and kick the tar out of her opponents. That didn't mean she couldn't punch, or punch hard.
Shinso, lost the match. Hailey; kicked him square in the testicles, his eyes rolled backwards, nausea washed over him and he found himself on his knees. "Not bad, not bad at all."
Shinso merely glowered at his opponent "Why? Why my sweet gonads?"
"You really asking that?" Hailey said, smirking impishly at him and looking slightly contrite and offering her hand.
Shinso took it "We got time for one more?"
It was Seven-Thirty, Hailey and Shinso had arrive just before Seven. Hailey nodded "We do…You sure? I just…kicked you in the nuts!"
Shinso's eyes flashed "Because Heroes and Villains, when they fight someone is going to lose and Heroes pay with their life and hospitals if they lose. Villains only get Prison."
"You disagree?"
"Some punishments are too vile to warrant prison. I'm not saying Death, but there needs to be something."
Hailey nodded "You've definitely developed some guts."
Shinso nodded "I've only been eating this mat and scorch marks for the past three weeks."
"Shinso-kun, I know you don't see it but you're improving. You really are…The kata you're learning, I had to learn in stages. We're in school thirty-two and a half hours a week; and let's add an additional twenty hours across the school day of you training with me."
"And twelve hours over the weekend."
Hailey nodded "Forty hours or so a week of none-stop training, you're making phenomenal progress. Soon you'll have your basic kata down and from there Aizawa-sensei can help you further your skill set."
(Staff-Room)
The staff collectively winced as they watched the junior Aizawa kick the purple-haired student in the testicles. "Well, I hadn't expected her to do that, so quickly." Aizawa stated.
"You let her do that? Kicking someone down there!" A skinny, Toshinori stated.
"Heroes without a reputation or in the Limelight like you All Might…Are not so fortunate to turn up and have people surrender. If we make mistakes, we die. So yes, my daughter acted and did such a painful act. They want to be Heroes; and if I know her, she's likely going to use the Sports Festival to put Hitoshi Shinso in the Hero Course."
"And her?"
"She works for Toyomitsu; He's willing to help her become a Hero after graduation…Or she'll do take the Sports Festival by storm."
"You're rather confident in her, Aizawa-kun." Rumbled Inui, his quirk not hindering his speech that much.
"Inui, you should have heard her when she was talking to All Might. She looked him in the eye and said to him 'I am the Erasure's Daughter'…That's the first time I've heard her come to terms with her Quirk and what having 'erasure' can potentially mean for her future as a Hero."
Inui hmphed and nodded. Inui had been Three Years ahead of Aizawa and had been the Mentor to Aizawa's subordinate. "The Hero Profession will be honoured to have her…But still, why did she have to do that."
Nezu grinned "Because Shinso Hitoshi, needs a firm grounding in Eraser Head's fighting style before Eraser Head can step into the role of a teacher."
"I do not have favourites, nor do I waste time on those with no potential. I was…impressed at Shinso's entrance exam scores and made him an offer…He has progressed well in his studies both in the General Studies and from what Jiro Kyoka has given them."
"Jiro…is…one of my better students. She is currently ranking seventh in the class. Those above her, admittedly are exceptionally intelligent."
"What are you thinking Aizawa?" Rumbled Ectoplasm, the Mathematics Teacher and Shinso and Hailey's homeroom teacher.
"I want to bring Shinso Hitoshi and Aizawa Hailey to the USJ. I want to see their competence in Hero exercises and their ability to integrate with my Class. Also, I need to look at my students to 'trim the fat' as Mic said. They both know that Hero Course seats are every changing. I use expulsion and Vlad works his to the bone."
Nezu nodded "Very well. You know the rules."
The staff looked at each other, Ectoplasm was the first to give his consent. He'd seen Shinso and the Erasure's Daughter practising. He'd even given them a few pointers to the younger Aizawa. Ectoplasm was also known as a Hero that preferred to use kicks, stomps and knee strikes in combat.
Hailey, definitely took after her father. He'd seen her Hero Costume thankyou very much and had slid some slight modifications; these were things like extra concealed pouches or even additional open pouches for additional equipment. He'd done the same for all of his students. Ectoplasm would rather have his student's alive thank you very much!
"Now that we have our administration and meetings done. Is there anything that you think that UA could do?"
"My fellow staff and Headmaster. I've brought this up and I bring it up again, our admittance policy for the Hero Course. Or even our admittance policy in general." Aizawa began.
"You want to make the Hero entrance exam something else? Something more equal?" Replied Nezu.
Aizawa nodded "Or more varied. There's more to Heroics than smashing robots and flashy quirks…However there are some other options. Enlarge the Hero Course class seats, more Hero Classes or both. On a different track, what if UA became not just a High School but a Middle and High School…It would put us on a similar footing equal to Shiketsu."
Nezu nodded "I shall consider it. Aizawa when Class 1-A heads to the USJ you will take Hitoshi Shinso and Aizawa Hailey with you."
(Gym Changing Rooms)
Shinso left his cubicle just as Hailey left hers. The warm conditions of the showers and the changing rooms had done nothing to conceal Hailey's figure specifically her upper body from the slight transparency of the shirt.
"Er, Aizawa…"
Hailey looked and she sighed "Shinso, thanks." Then to his amazement, his friend and trainer and pulled her shirt off, pulled out a black undershirt and then put the shirt back on. She straightened the shirt and readjusted her tie. Her long black hair, once previously kept wholly off her face now had two long bangs one over each eye.
"You doing anything after school? Aside from grinding me into the dirt."
"Might be meeting up with Jiro…Why?"
Shinso gulped "I was wondering…coffee? Kind of like a date?"
"No." Aizawa responded, Shinso's eyes widened. Aizawa smirked "Want to try that again? I don't do kind of."
"Would you, Aizawa Hailey, like to go on a date with me?"
Hailey grinned at the purple haired brainwasher "Yeah…Although, unfortunately Shinso, I like you but I can't properly…" Her words trailed off.
Shinso moved to her "Hey, hey, hey, it's okay. I'm not…" He looked up to see Class 1-A and the Elder Aizawa enter. He checked his watch; they'd need to run if they were going to make it to Maths.
"Aizawa, we've gotta run. We've got math in ten and its…"
"Fifteen minutes from here." Hailey replied, she turned and gulped. She was about to break down; but the Hero Course was there.
"Something you want to tell?"
"No, Sensei…Shino, lets go. Jiro, I'll see you at lunch?"
The Punk-rock Heroine nodded.
"Aizawa, Shinso…this Friday, the pair of you have a Field Examination…If you haven't got your Hero Costume, your UA Gym Outfit will suffice."
Hailey nodded. Then using a code her dad had taught her quickly tapped a rhythm on her trouser leg 'I need to speak to you…not student to teacher…important.'
Eraserhead nodded, the Hero Class parted and the duo took off. The teens rushed across the campus, up the main stairs, dodging around Hound Dog who snarled at them 'no running in the hallway!'. They slid to a stop outside the classroom as Ectoplasm arrived.
"I trust this will not be a regular occurrence? What was the reason?"
"We'll work on it. Mis-judged timing with morning training, sensei."
Ectoplasm nodded. He'd seen the feeds in the gym. "Then I trust you know about your Field Exam…Do not embarrass Class 1-C."
The duo tried not to roll their eyes. The Headmaster was known for changing things up on a whim; this would evidently be one of those things.
The day seemed to drag on but eventually the bell rang. Hailey looked at the homework, there wasn't anything too hard. They had an hour and a half before they could meet the mats. It was Wednesday, and Jiro had battle practise and honestly Hailey liked the meetups. "God, this so hard. I'm crushing on my best friend! What the hell do I do?"
In that hesitation, Hailey found herself folding over from a leg kick from her father. It was the end of the day! She had to get with the programme!
"You wanted to talk. We've got fifteen minutes before Jiro and Shinso arrive."
Hailey nodded "I'm…I'm…notintoguysI'msorrythatI'madissapointment."
Aizawa stopped as his daughter broke down, he reeled her in with his binding cloth; released her and held onto her as she sobbed into his shirt. "Hey, now…what's brought this on, Little Eraser?"
"Just, recently…" "A year tops." Aizawa thought, he said nothing. He loved his daughter; like nothing else. Even though, in reality they were cousins. Aizawa knew that was going to be a long conversation; but a set of conversations were going to be had when long conversations were going to be relevant. "…I've had a feeling that I like girls, romantically, more than boys." Hailey murmured.
"Hailey, you are my daughter, I could never consider you a disappointment. I might be angry, mad or even furious with you should you not be yourself or even your best. But never would I consider you a disappointment."
The duo parted as the door opened and a slightly red-faced Jiro appeared along with a pale Shinso "How much did you hear?" The question was more directed at the Heroine-in-Training.
"Enough…Hailey, nothing has changed between us. We've shared too many bruises and sugar-crashes for this to come between us. Don't get me wrong this is equally strange. Anyway, Class was stressed."
Hailey grinned "Want to talk about it? Who is in your class? I mean Dads given me names but you, you're with them. So what are they like?"
Jiro sighed; starting out the fight with her Jacks instead of her normal punch, punch, kick. "Alright, you've met them briefly a while back. Bakugo; the angry one."
"More feral but yes. Proceed."
"He is perpetually angry. Like seriously, really hates Midoriya…green haired kid."
"Green haired kid? Dad, didn't you mention a green haired kid shatter his limbs?"
"Yes."
"I can help with that. Quirk might have manifested late…" Aizawa froze slightly allowing Shinso to get a sizable punch into his side.
Jiro swiftly continued "Midoriya is an utter wreck. Constant stuttering and stammering, but when in combat…relentless. He was able to map a path to win a fight without relying on his Quirk. Then we have Todoroki; cold, distant and stupidly powerful, oh and proper smart."
Hailey nodded; she was content to make her own opinions. Besides it sounded like Jiro needed to get this off her chest. "Then we have the two perverted idiots Denki and Mineta; although Denki has limits and Mineta has none; further more Denki's…dumb, like blonde joke dumb."
Hailey was thrown by that, allowing Jiro to get in close to get Hailey on the ground to try and 'arrest', her. Hailey struggled but eventually let her win. "Anyway, then we've got Sero…if you remember the comic hero Spider-man, closest thing to Sero. Then there's Yaomomo, my god she's sheltered but like rocket genius smart then we add her quirk of creation…" Hailey blanched. "There's Ashido, uses acid and breakdancing again not one of the academically strong students but you'd like her if you can discuss music and dance."
Hailey nodded. Hagakure; over enthusiastic and on a near permanent sugar rush, to compensate for her invisibility quirk. Shoji; biggest guy in the class, very quiet. Seemed to keep himself to himself, Fumikage; sentient quirk and spoke in a tone of gothic drama and gravitas. Sato; if Hagakure lived on sugar then Sato was a master of sugar, his body became jacket after consuming it; didn't help that he was an incredible baker, he was able to chat baking tips with the class on a level that only Lunch Rush could follow.
Koda; sweet and quiet, nothing more to be said. Kirishima; a kid who could harden his body; typically hung out with Bakugo to prevent him from blowing up on anyone. Liked to call things 'manly'. Hailey shuddered, 1-A were shaping up to be loud and not a Father style loud. Ojiro, seemed to be one of the saner and stable members of the class; reserved, 'a bit like Hailey' Jiro thought. Hailey and the Tail-Quirked student would get along fine.
Uraraka; Jiro had no real opinion on. The same with Iida; Hailey might get annoyed at his booming voice and constant jerking and rigid arm movements. Asui; everyone respected or even liked the Toad-girl, no crap, no angle just 'straight up, straight down'. Finally there was Aoyama, unlike Shoji; who appeared to be a loner…Aoyama was a loner and dismissive of everyone in the class.
Hailey sighed "Dad, your class sounds like the worst."
Aizawa chuckled as weaved, ducked and dived around his new protégé's strikes. Aizawa grunted as a round-house kick, quickly reversed slamming across his back. "Shinso, my daughter's on very well in building up your basics of our fighting style. Emulation is fine, copycat is dead."
Shinso nodded "Thank you, sensei…for giving me this chance."
Aizawa grinned "Remember, Shinso…all my daughter did was offer you a chance. This…is all you. You don't need to set absurd expectations; training to be a Hero and if you're going to learn the Binding Cloth style; it took me six years to create, learn and master. DO NOT expect yourself to master it in months. Hailey's still learning it."
Shinso turned to the female Aizawa, who nodded "I'm good…for my age. However, what makes me dangerous are the weapons and martial arts, I use in conjunction with my Quirk and Binding Cloth."
Training finished on a high note that particular Wednesday. However, things went pear-shaped that Friday in the most spectacular manner.
