Quirks Not Required
Chapter IXX
Inko fixed Shouta with a look "What…did he do?"
The Erasure Hero looked at her dead in the eye "Got caught up in an insurrectionist movement known as the 'Eaters of Death' and lost. A kid known as Baraquiel broke both his legs and put him in the ICU; co-incidentally he's locked up as well…"
Inko chuckled "On a trumped-up charge that sounds logical on the surface but in reality, is completely bogus…What are the chances of him getting out?"
"Officially or unofficially?"
"Officially?"
Shouta paused "I do have a contact or two over their, but, on paper and from what I know of the Tower's History it is going to have Hell literally freeze over before he can escape. If Bogey #1 or his associate have connections over their, I'm pretty sure that they do, I'd say it is very likely."
Inko sighed "Keep an eye on my son. For as much as he's Hisashi's son, he is mine."
"He's got Hisashi's temperament when he's focused, but all you in colouring; although you were extremely scary when angered." Shouta admitted.
"I think that was the hardest thing I've ever had to do. Lie to my Izuku about his Quirklessness."
Shouta's hand was out like a snake "What happened?"
Inko gulped and pulled out a forest green file.
Name: Midoriya Izuku
Parents: Midoriya Inko (M), Midoriya Hisashi (F)
Parental Quirks: Telekinesis 4th Grade (M), Pyrokinesis Throat Based, 1st Class (F)
Own Quirk: Inferno (Manifested at Birth)
Other information: Midoriya Izuku was born with an extremely powerful flame quirk that has been described as the phenomena 'Quirks Manifestion Primogen' in other words a quirk that has manifested at birth, this is normally seen within bloodlines of Heteromorphic Quirks, collequially known as 'Mutant Quirks'. Baby, Midoriya Izuku, caused mass burns to his mother resulting in significant burns to her reproductive organs, furthermore, on his birth he began to unconsciously attract the hydrogen and oxygen atoms in the room and begin to ignite them.
Shouta could only go white as he read that Izuku had disappeared for the total of ten hours, moments after Hisashi had managed to take control of the flames in what had been the maternity ward of the hospital. "What are you saying Inko?"
Inko looked at him "I believe my Izuku's quirk was stolen. I've told him that he was Quirkless as that is much more believable than saying 'Someone stole his quirk'."
(AFO et al.)
Daiten was panting, his rehabilitation was going rather well. He looked at his watch, it was telling him that it was only just afternoon on his third day of rehabilitation but on the clock above him "What the…"
"Dilation…it turns out with a lot of graft, a few setbacks, in the form of explosions…you can infuse quirks into technology. The room you've been in has been slowed to feel like a day inside is an hour outside. Unfortunately does mean people have the tendency to go insane." All For One chuckled. "On a more serious note, how are you feeling?"
"Accidental Quirk Usage makes me feel extremely uncomfortable, but I'm getting used to it. Making it my own so to speak."
All For One nodded "I have a job and some information for you."
"Okay…this does not sound in any way shape or form legal, but I'm interested. But first, the information."
AFO handed him a vanilla folder "This file contains someone you have had close proximity to."
Kato opened the file and his eyes widened "You took his quirk?"
"I did. His father is and was one of my many, many pet projects; one that succeeded, however, how I did such a thing is beyond me at the time."
Kato closed the folder "Isn't Viper like held in an off the books extremely high-tech supermax?"
"He is. Specifically in Tower ST-13, thanks to an acquaintance with a nasal problem we've managed to ascertain his location."
Kato sagged slightly "You want me to go to Britain, break INTO the Tower of London, bust out Midoriya Hisashi, Flame Viper and bring him back here?"
"Yes."
Kato sighed "I hope I get a suit of some sort."
"You will. It's being designed as we speak."
Garaki smiled as he placed the final measurements and specific designs for his protege's suit into the designer. "Kato, the suit will be bulletproof, resistant to the conventional ammunition used amongst UN and NATO, but I wouldn't recommend being in the sights for that long; it also contains a kinetic absorption material meaning…"
"I can convert the impacts to improve my own strength and brutality of my strikes. Do you have the layout of the Holding Cells below the Tower?"
"That we do. That we do indeed. For now go, return to your family."
(Nemuri et al.)
Nemuri woke up to a knock on the door, pulling on one of Kato's large flannel shirts; which positively dwarfed her frame and picking up her son, she looked through the peephole and readied her quirk.
Contrary to popular belief, Nemuri could control her quirk with precision and ease which was the complete opposite of her typical hero behaviour. With her somnabulist, she could launch a concentrated burst so potent she could stop someone's heart. Kato, had been attacked, with her and she'd hit the mugger with a concentrated blast that had rendered him comatose.
She opened the door to see Kato standing there, dressed in a tracksuit with a pair of crutches. "Hey, love."
"You're…you're…walking!"
"That I am, and my quirk has activated…It turned out that I was suffering from Quirk Repression Syndrome."
Nemuri's eyes widened "That's…that's big. So what can you do?"
Kato grinned "Let's find out."
Nemuri nodded before thrusting Kazuki into his arms. "Your little boy, he needs to know his father…"
Kato took his son, made his way to the couch and sat down. Looking down at the angelic ball of pure innocence made him feel at peace. "Oh, Kazuki, my sweet little boy…I wonder, what will you think of me when you learn of what I've done…" the new father leant back and held his son close.
"Feed the missus and provide chest naps…I think I'm going to love this job." And for the first time in a while, Kato pulled out his phone and snapped a picture of Kazuki and him.
(Midoriya and Jiro)
Jiro and Midoriya were dumbstruck, Jiro was slightly greyer than Midoriya. All Might had just finished telling the grim tale of One For All and All For One and how the latter had decimated every single user until All Might but inflicted his career-ending injury.
"Green, you've told NO-ONE about this! What about your mother and father?"
"I don't want to burden my mother anymore than I have. As for my father he's in America on business."
Toshinori gulped, his heartbeat skipped causing Jiro to glower at him "What's the real excuse? Where is Midoriya's father?"
Toshinori locked eyes with Izuku "I will not tell you because it's not my place to. Just know, for all your Father's mistakes and wrongdoings, you're innocent. Even if you had his spectacular quirk, I'd have still given you One For All because I can see that you will be a tremendous hero."
Midoriya had never found himself feeling so nervous, that night would nearly break him.
The school day passed without any incidents although Present Mic had hinted that they'd best start training for a school event that was to be announced soon. Afterwards, he'd received a message from his mother "Izu-kun, I've taken the liberty of contacting Kyoka-chan's parents; they are most eager to meet you. Furthermore, a few friends of mine are coming over for dinner and certain things will be discussed. Have a good day."
"Midoriya! Jiro, you coming with us to hang out after School?" Called Kaminari enthusiastically.
Jiro looked at the Green Haired Teen before stating "My parents bumped into Midoriya's Kaa-san, they got talking and found out we were talking to one another and now there's a HUGE misunderstanding between them; we've tried explaining individually but…"
Only Uraraka noticed Midoriya was turning an uncomfortable red "Deku, what's going on?"
"F…fa…family stuff. Major misunderstanding." He bit his tongue too much had nearly been spilt and had been spilt; right now he needed his mother's guidance, god this was going to be a very awkward dinner. "Maybe there will be Katsudon."
That afternoon the duo caught the train in the company, surprisingly, of Tokyami Fumikage "This is a most ominous turn of events. I never knew that the pair of you lived in the same prefecture."
The trio had a very pleasant trip back home, doing bits of homework on their laptops or phones before Jiro snagged Midoriya's and put Tokyami's in "You're exceptionally bad at getting numbers."
With that the three disembarked and headed their separate ways. It surprised the purplette at just how close she lived to the green haired skittish boy. It took five minutes of climbing but eventually they found themselves at the door, Izuku sighed and opened it.
