The Erasure's Daughter

Izuku almost passed out from shock as he heard the news. It had turned out that Heroes had conducted a deep cover and thorough investigation of Aldera Middle School; the results had been frightening to say the least. In the past fifteen years Aldera had been linked to five cases of suicide baiting, four mass homicides and two drug rings.

Inko watched transfixed, her jaw open. What had happened in fifteen years! The school she'd attended, where she found happiness had turned into this. It was amazing that UA had kept her Izuku and Bakugo Katsuki in their school after formally cutting any links with the school. "We are a School for Heroics and quite frankly Aldera is lacking in anything remotely worthwhile in terms of suitable Hero Hopefuls and Academics. For the foreseeable future, UA will not be accepting applicants from Aldera."

Izuku's phone went off, there was a message from Hailey. He paled when it read 'oops'. "Mum, I'm off to Hailey's."

Inko paused and turned to her son "Hailey Aizawa? Is she…" She began.

Izuku turned red as he listened to the half asked question "No…" His voice was a little higher pitched than expected "...She's a friend. Besides she doesn't…I don't…she's in a relationship with someone else in my class. She's also why I've improved with my quirk." Inko nodded, she'd never admit it but the black haired girl did know how to train her son.

Inko smiled as she watched her son head out. It was so good that he had people to call friends, she wasn't dumb. She knew what Bakugo had done.

Meanwhile with Hailey, the sound of cats mewling and the birds chirping followed by the sound of her alarm clock went off. Hailey tried to move her fingers only to experience agony as the nerves ignited in white hot pain; she turned to find Kyoka snuggling next to her.

"I can't believe you've done it. I mean sure, beating Monoma...that was seriously amazing. Then you fought Kendo AND Tokage, and you beat them." Kyoka stated.

Hailey grinned "Sore though…Pretty sure I cracked my knuckles and my wrists…"

"Making me feed you…" Kyoka retorted jokingly scowling.

"Don't get cheeky, you loved every moment of it…" Any other words Hailey had were rudely disrupted when Aizawa stuck his head in.

"Hailey, you and…You're going to want to have a look at this…" Aizawa said, there was something in his eyes and a slight curling of the mouth.

Kyoka was the first one up, gently pulling Hailey with her. The duo headed into the kitchen where Hizashi was serving up some beautiful coffee, Hailey batted Kyoka's hands away from her cat mug. Kyoka smiled at that "Shota is the exact same. Kith and Kin, leave the Aizawa's mugs to them." Hizashi stated as there was a knock on the door.

Hizashi got the door and it wasn't a surprise to see Midoriya there. "Midoriya, good morning!"

"Morning sensei…thank you. How are you?" Hailey grinned and turned to see Midoriya enter, she grinned, and turned red seeing her and Kyoka's state of undress.

"M..Morning."

"Only one stammer...Hailey, I think he's improving." The girls giggled and the Teachers grunted in agreement; one amazing thing about Hailey was her seemingly natural ability to cultivate people's inherent abilities and Midoriya, after some nasty bruises, had begun to come into his own. Aizawa Shota had originally thought that Midoriya had coasted through life without training his quirk. He had been so wrong, he'd admit it once Midoriya had matured some more; honestly the Problem Child was going to go far.

"Midoriya, I take it you saw the news?" Hailey said grinning from ear to ear.

"This was you? Why? How?"

"Yes, it was part of my exam and I had no idea that it was true. Shinso and I were hanging out with Fat Gum doing our Transfer Module. Transferring from Gen-Ed to Heroics requires a Physical and an Academic Test, Shinso needs to do his...probably in the Summer."

"You both will. You're going to need to survive a week with the Pussycats…"

The three teens almost squealed at that, who didn't love the slightly mad cat-themed rescue specialists. "Hailey, you transfer into my Class when we resume. Tenya Iida will be taking your place in General Education and Mineta is on thin-ice…"

Hailey grinned "Midoriya, why are you here?"

Midoriya blushed slightly "I was coming by to find out if you two were interested in going swimming. I received a text from Kaminari and Mineta, something about the swimming pool and female heroes in training…"

Jiro's jacks whipped up "Ashido…She must have mentioned it to Denki or Kirishima. Thanks for warning us, in fact, contact the rest of the class."

Hailey cocked her head "Class training, that way…"

Hizashi grinned "I'll see you at the school, I have papers that I need to mark."

It was a lie but Hailey and Kyoka appreciated it; you needed a member of staff at the school for access to the classrooms. Normally it'd have to be the homeroom teacher but as it was the usage of the Sports Facilities, any staff member with the relevant skills could supervise. Aizawa-Yamada Hizashi, happened to be a skilled swimmer and diver. Shota had taught Hailey a lot of the self-defence stuff but it was Hizashi who had taught her to swim, string and play guitars and whilst looking awesome in leather.

As Hailey and Kyoka grabbed their UA Swimsuits, yes UA supplied everything from Day Uniforms to Swimwear and for the Heroics Students their Costumes. "Hailey..." Shota called.

"Yeah."

"I think we're going to need to redesign your suit…You got shot; I have a kid with an explosive quirk and…"

"Todoroki Shoto, hot and cold, I know. Do we need to have this discussion now?"

It was then the doorbell went again. Midoriya was known to drop by unannounced as he'd been coming over like clockwork. "That's something to consider. Alternating routes home, forcing heroes to adapt." Aizawa thought as Midoriya went for the door.

"Shinso! Get in, Aizawa-sensei…Have you got a first aid kit?"

Hailey spun and crossed the living room into the hallway to find Shinso with a blackened eye, limping but looking rather defiant. His knuckles were also bloodied and bruised "Hitoshi! What happened?"

"My father…He came home late last night, drunk…I had the misfortune of getting in his way for his morning alcohol. He took a swing at me, and not for the first time said I had a 'villains quirk' and that he wishes that my mother had aborted me. Doesn't help that she agrees with him. I objected and things escalated." Shinso replied.

Kyoka's jaw dropped "Hails…we've gotta do something about this."

Shinso smiled thinly "He then went for me. I managed to divert a bloodied nose, potential concussion and skull fracture into a black eye. I kicked him in the kidney, punched him in the head; the temple, then I hit the granite table top. My mother used her quirk to try and turn me into a punching bag, I shrugged it off but she had my arm. I broke my hand to get her into elbow range. Then my father...it turns out the alcohol he drank allowed him to get up; he punched me in the ribs and tried to stamp on me; he now has a broken leg and fractured knee. I am now homeless."

"Papa, Dad…we can't let this continue…now when Shinso is so close to making it."

Shota looked at his daughter "This will get messy…"

"Isn't Heroics always messy...besides does the name Du something ring a bell?"

Aizawa twitched slightly "Du Bois, why?"

Hailey shrugged "Landline went off, a guy by the name of DuBois wanted you to have something; something about giving you his kit as his children were more interested in going their own way."

Aizawa nodded "Robert DuBois…an extremely dangerous man, quirkless villain, a man who assisted in my training by attempting to kill me. Was known as Bloodsport."

The Teens eyes widened "You were trained by a Villain!"

"Reformed Villain…from a time when Quirkless didn't mean Useless. Hell, if it wasn't for the fact that he's in his eighties, I still consider him one of the most dangerous men in the world. He put the Steel Hero: Superman, in hospital and went down for life; however he popped up now and again doing jobs for the American Government."

"The American Government is known for treating Quirks much like their still used Firearms Laws. Heroes are treated interestingly, for most villains at least according to the forums its a mixture of protest, comedy and straight up wanting to know where they compare against a hero." Izuku chipped in "I'm a hero fanboy…there, I've said it. I might as well own it. Anyway the interesting and entertaining thing is the heroes don't mind it 'no harm no foul' is how it's described."

"So a villain can go upto a hero and punch him, as long as no civilian has gotten hurt the heroes treat them with kids gloves. Villain gets arrested, slapped with a fine and community service and the Hero gets recognition and a free meal although sometimes taken into specialised Hero Teams such as the Avengers."

"Like the ones from that infinitely long movie saga?" Kyoka asked, the music was hit and miss but Guardians of the Galaxy was amazing.

Izuku nodded "Yup. They came from comic books, predating the movies…Iron Man was my favourite. Smarts and wealth…" He trailed off.

Shinso smiled rather easily "Hailey, you're sure…"

"Shinso, as a hero, I wouldn't let you go back to your family. As a parent, I wouldn't allow you to go back. You're going to stay here with us."

Shinso smiled "I do…need a few things from my place…my laptop and my guitar mainly."

Kyoka took Hailey's hand and dragged her to the corridor to the bedrooms "You didn't tell me Shinso could play!"

"You never really asked. Plus I said we'd need to do a jam session with him. You didn't get back to me about it."

Kyoka stilled "We'll do that once Shinso's recovered. Speaking of, do we cancel or…"

Shinso shook his head "Don't worry about me…I'm going to be busy writing a statement, then messaging Fat Gum…I need something to do aside from training."

Aizawa nodded "Right now, you need to rest, your life is being turned upside down…Besides you'll have your chance in due course. Right now, rest."

Shinso nodded thankfully, he trudged over to the sofa; sat down and promptly passed out. "Daddy…" Shota looked at his daughter, it didn't matter that they were actually cousins…family is family; he was distracted by that declaration, he looked up "Make them pay…or at least sweat."

Aizawa Shouta looked at his daughter "If you provide the legwork…"

Kyoka eyed Hailey nervously "If YOU provide the legwork?"

Hailey giggled slightly "Now, Kyo…I may or may not have brought Aldera Middle School to the attention of Fatgum who in turn notified the principal...a certain high-spec principle."

Kyoka began to turn an adorable shade of pink. Red from the embarrassment of nearly jumping the gun and pale as she pieced together Hailey and Shinso's project. "Anyway, I have Class 1-A's transfer to introduce...Aizawa-sensei, Mic-sensei, I'll see you both later?"

Shouta looked at the sleeping Shinso, and decided his own agenda could wait. He headed over to the Nokia 3310 in the Breadknife Bin and took it out and he entered a number "Sensei, it's me…I have a few questions."

A rasping bass of a voice retorted, it sounded slightly forced "I expect you do. I'm not going anywhere anytime soon, in fact my daughters want to give you some things."

Aizawa's bloodchilled, he remembered DuBois daughters; one by blood and the other by a small mountain of bodies the assassin had wrought. "I'll be about in a week…"

There was a chuckle. "Yes, Hitoshi Shinso's parents…Don't be too long for the word to get out, Eraserhead and Cleo and her acquaintances are not fond of abusers. Neither am I, but I'm old so you're not having to worry about me."
