A giant fist appeared out of nowhere and punched the living daylight of one of the Titan's face. Crushing it in the process of course. Many just stared with mouths hanging open as it was revealed to be none other than Rogue Titan
"What was that?" Jean said staring in clear confusion at this turn of events
"A Titan beating another Titan" Jason said, finally clear from the trainees that had been blocking his way due to the shock of seeing Rogue
Suddenly a window broke as Mikasa came in with Connie and Armin right behind her
"Huh? What the-? Mikasa" Jean said as he and Jason turned towards the trio
"Man that was close. It's completely empty. We did it! We managed to make it!" Connie said as he tapped the empty canister at his side
"Y-you're alive!"
"We did it Armin!" Connie said as he slapped the poor blonde's back
"Wasn't Tim with you?" Jason asked coming over to them as the trio slowly tensed. Seeing there tense body language, the raven haired teen sighed "Let me guess, he stayed behind didn't he? Of course he did. That self sacrificing idiot" he said and took note of Eren missing, but thought he might have just stayed behind with Tim
"If it's any help, we tried to stop him" Armin hesitantly added
"He wouldn't have stopped. Even if you restrained him, he would have found a way out" Jason said, making sure to have a lengthy conversation with his successor. Turning his attention to Rogue, Jason pointed towards him "What's the deal with him?"
"Oh right!" Connie exclaimed "That Titan's an abnormal! Like killing all of the other Titans and not having any interest in us! We can use that to our advantage to escape from here!"
"Use a Titan?" someone asked in disbelief
"A Titan helping us? What kind of ridiculous dream-" Jean started saying until being cut off
"It's no dream. Whether it's an abnormal or not, I don't care. We're going to let it rampage here for as long as possible" Mikasa interrupted
Jason raised an eyebrow at this and suddenly remembered something;
"Unlike the information we've been given about how Titans are mindless, this one seemed to have intelligence. You're the brains here... so tell me this, is it possible for these Titans to change their sizes or have a human form?"
Could it be possible... he was right? It's the only thing that makes sense! The Colossal disappearing, this Rogue Titan, but if they are humans... who could they be?
"Jason?" Armin asked as Jason snapped out of his thoughts and turned back to the others who were looking at him with slight worry
"Sorry. Lost in thought and all. You guys find a way to gain access to the supply room and get rid of those Titans. Armin might be your best bet. According to Tim, you're one of the smartest here next to that know it all. I'm going to get Tim and kill him myself when I see him if he isn't already dead" Jason said, fixing his ODM gear and switching blades
"Wait! You're going back out there?!" many yelled in shock and disbelief
"Tim's out there. Even thought we've had our disagreements... I'm not about to abandon him and leave him as Titan food. And as much as I sometimes hate to admit it, he's family" Jason said with a tense tone
Before anyone could even say anything, Jason was out the window. He looked over at the battle and saw as Rogue kicked one of the smaller Titans, sending them flying
'This Titan... it somehow reminds me of him, his desire to slaughter them all and everything' thought Jason, an image of Eren taking the form of the Rogue Titan. He shook the thought away and continued his search for Tim
Meanwhile...
'Damn these guys just don't give up' thought the former Robin, flipping away an incoming large hand and using his sword to slice a few fingers
Right now Tim happened to find himself surrounded by a ton of Titans. Since leaving Armin and the others, the raven haired teen had tried to take down as many Titans as possible, but they just kept on coming
'We're never gonna get anywhere with that hole still open. Titans are pouring in like crazy. The thing is what exactly could cover a hole that large? There's barely any technology here to even use...'
Once again Tim used his grappling gun, having abandoned his ODM gear after having it slow him down. However this time, his wire was pulled by one of the Titans as his eyes widened as he cursed at having his guard let down
Turning, Tim pulled out a batarang and threw it as it hit the Titan in the eye, causing him to stumble back slightly, but not enough to let go of the wire
'No other choice!' Tim exclaimed in his head and using his sword, cut the line as he was now free falling down onto another Titan. Taking advantage of this, Tim used the Titans as springboards to soften his landing
"Damn baby bird, gotta give you credit for taking down as many Titans as you could with only one sword, no ODM gear and your own weapons" said a familiar voice
"Jason!" Tim exclaimed in shock. He was sure Jason wouldn't come after him... maybe he did care... or most likely didn't want to suffer a lecture from Bruce or Dick
"That's my name" said the second Robin, taking aim with the bow he had in his hands and letting the arrow fly towards the Titan targeting Tim, smirking when the target was hit in the eye "Guess practicing with Roy's gear payed off"
"What are you doing here and why are you using a bow?" Tim shouted climbing up the rooftop Jason was on
"Unless you want me to announce my presence to every Titan in the area or get the Garrison or MP's here, I'd rethink you asking that question. As for why I'm here... should be obvious" Jason said, taking aim again
"You know an arrow won't do much damage to a Titan" Tim said with a sigh as Jason turned and glared at him
"This coming from the guy who didn't want to kill them in the first place. What happened to that? Had a change of heart or something?" Jason angrily said
"Eren's gone Jason" Tim quietly said as Jason's focus was shattered for a split second at what Tim just said "I watched like a helpless kid as Eren was eaten. I promised Mikasa I would make sure he wouldn't die, promised him I wouldn't allow him to become a victim or have his death on my consciousness... what type of hero allows that?" Tim said dropping to his knees, the events of everything that had happened before finally catching up to him
Jason watched as Tim crumbled and couldn't fault him. He's seen more death here than in Gotham. These Titans don't care who they kill, they just do... they don't have any humanity in them to realize what they are doing
The fact that Eren was gone, surprised him and also didn't since he called it back during their first day that he'd get himself killed fast... but still Jason had technically befriended the suicidal maniac and his death saddened him. He can only imagine how Mikasa and Armin must be feeling
"You might have not been able to save Eren, but you have been able to save more lives thanks to your efforts here. You're a hero in every sense Tim. You were the third Robin, my replacement. You've grown into Red Robin, leader of the Teen Titans. Now is the time to go all out and do what you can for the rest of the trainees still alive" Jason said looking over his shoulder at the teen on the ground as he threw away his bow after running out of arrows and took his swords out "The world can be cruel, can be unfair. Sometimes things happen cause they were meant to happen. All we can do in the end is accept what has been done and fight for what has yet to be done. Don't allow yourself to wallow in misery at the past. Look towards the future and live"
Tim looked at his adopted brother, as he turned and threw him something. Catching it, Tim saw it was a grappling gun "Saw you lose yours" was all he said as he jumped and used his ODM gear to maneuver around the Titans and cut down any that tried anything
'Jason's right... I'm acting just like Mikasa after I told her to honor and fight for Eren instead of killing herself... thank you Jason' Tim thought and tighten his hold on his own sword and using the grappling gun followed his brother's lead
The two of them were able to deal with the Titan more easily then alone. They trusted each other enough to have one another's back. At times they combined attacks or allowed the other to finish off their target if they could do it faster and more efficient
It's safe to say, both former Robins were able to kill all the Titans in their area and even found ODM gear for Tim to use and a fully loaded gas canister so Jason could switch his soon to be empty ones
Suddenly they both heard a roar as they turned over towards where it came from
"That's where the Rogue Titan was fighting off the other Titans and where everyone else is at" Jason said with wide eyes as both Tim and Jason made a beeline towards HQ
Meanwhile with everyone else
They had managed to retake the supply room and restock on gas. It had been touch and go a few times, but in the end they managed to win
"Let's move!"
"Rendezvous with the main forces!"
Armin noticed a figure on the roof "Mikasa?" he asked as Reiner and Bertolt stood next to him "Mikasa, we have to get out of here!"
"That Titan..."
Following her gaze, the blonde watched as five Titans of different sizes held the Rogue Titan pinned to a building, tearing bits of him "Cannibalism?"
In response to this, the Rogue Titan let out a cry as Armin noticed something "He can't regenerate?"
"I thought that if we could somehow figure out what's up with that Titan, that he could have helped us break free from this hopeless situation" Mikasa revealed
"I agree" Reiner said as Annie, Bertolt and Jean stood next to him, watching the scene unfold "We'll learn nothing at all if it ends up getting eaten. For now, we have to get rid of the ones over him and help with keeping him alive"
"Are you even hearing yourself? You're insane Reiner. We could literally all die if we go in" Jean said "I've had enough comrades die. I'm not about to let more die because you're curious"
"But what if there's a chance that Titan could become an ally of sorts? He'd be a more powerful weapon than any cannon, wouldn't you agree?" Annie commented
"Ally? Do you even hear what you're all saying?!"
Suddenly a blur was seen coming from out of nowhere, followed by another blur as two Titans went down. The blurs were soon revealed with Armin, Mikasa and Jean gasping in surprise at who it was that had come
"Jason! Tim!"
"You're alive! Not gonna ask how you managed" Jean commented as he watched Jason grab Tim and fling him over towards another Titan, doing a couple flips before using his ODM gear as a wire attached to a building. This allowed him to distract the Titan as Jason finished it off
"They're good" Reiner said as everyone else nodded in agreement
Tim hung in front of another Titan's field of vision as it went to grab at him only for Tim to twist and slice of the hand as he then flung himself towards the Titan, being careful with the mouth and used his swords to impale the Titans eyes
Blood flew, hitting Tim in his face and clothing, but he payed no mind. Instead he detached his blades and moved onto another Titan as Jason once again finished it off
"Way above everyone else's league"
Armin soon noticed something that he recognized "That Titan... it's the abnormal that killed Thomas!"
At this, Rogue suddenly went towards the Titan, ignoring the others still grabbing hold of him. He also ignored the two teens cutting down Titans as well. He lost his both arms though along the way, but didn't seem to even care about that
Reaching the abnormal, the Rogue Titan bit into the neck and throwing his neck back was able to lift the body. Swinging the Titan in his grasp, he was able to decapitate it and threw the body into another incoming Titan
The Rogue Titan suddenly fell to the ground as steam began to rise from the body
"Looks like he's finished for good" Jean said as he prepared to leave "We're done here right? Let's go. As if something like that could be an ally. A Titan's a Titan"
Seeing no body move or say anything, Jean moved back towards the others "What's with you guys?"
Steam continued to pour out of the Rogue Titan... however it was centered on the back of his neck. Soon a human shape appeared as red muscles stuck to his arms and face, his body lifting up and revealing a familiar teen to everyone watching
Mikasa's eyes widened at seeing who it was and without any hesitation went down
"Mikasa!" Armin called
Ignoring him, as soon as she touched the ground, Mikasa began to run
She wrapped her arms around him, his body slumped against hers as she couldn't believe it was him... that he was here and alive. Quickly, she placed her head on his chest and listened
Hearing the soft heartbeat, Mikasa's eyes gathered tears as she began to cry
After a moment, the small group stood before Mikasa and the body she was still holding onto
"Eren?" Tim said in shock at the fact that he was here 'I saw him get eaten though' Tim didn't know what to make of the situation. When Jason had brought up his idea of Titans having a human form, he was skeptical to be honest. However even Tim couldn't deny the logic in his statement. It explained why Rogue was so different, knowing things that normal Titans wouldn't... he was a human inside of a Titan as if in control
"He came out of that Titan" Jason said in disbelief as his theory was proven correct... however he was thinking more of shapeshifting like Beast Boy not... this. For someone who's come from a place such as Gotham, nothing like this has never been seen or heard of, it felt like a dream. This world is crazy and complicated
"What, but how?" Armin cried looking at his friend's peaceful face. He grabbed hold of his hand, remembering the last time he'd seen Eren
"That means Eren did all this? Not counting that you both also did some heavy damage" Jean commented pointing at the distracted Tim and Jason as he and the others stared at the final result of the scene
Let's see! Jason and Tim action was involved! Sorry if I still suck at them. Eren is now revealed as the Rogue Titan! Everyone is unsure of what this means or what to make of it! Till next time where we see what becomes of Eren seen revealing this titanic secret... actually why do I do these mini previews? You all know what will happen if you follow or heard of AOT after all
