Rafe lay awake in his bed, unable to sleep. He couldn't stop thinking about what Arakan told him before they left the Shrine in the Depths. How the hell would he know about that voice inside his crystal? Only Rafe was present when the crystal spoke. Unless…

Could Arakan and Yuki hear it as well? Were they eavesdropping? He shook his head furiously. No, they weren't eavesdropping. Arakan read my thoughts, that's how he found out.

Rafe grabbed his lightsaber and held it out in front of him. "Still… Why was I chosen?"

"Because you're more attuned to the dark side, Rafe," the dark voice said.

"Shut up!" Rafe hissed. "Someone might hear you!"

The demonic voice laughed. "Only the one in possession of this crystal can hear me. So it would only seem like you're talking to yourself to others."

Rafe couldn't hold back a sneer, which was just as dark as the glare he shot at his lightsaber. "Don't get smart with me you shitty piece Sith spit. What the hell do you want?"

"Can I not talk with my new owner?" the voice asked.

Rafe got out of bed and walked out of his dormitory. He looked around the narrow hallway, seeing if anyone was around in the vicinity, but the coast was clear. He started heading to the Shrine in the Depths.

"Sneeking out in the middle of the night. Doesn't seem like being a Jedi suits you."

Rafe ignored the voice, not wanting to drag attention to himself.

"Hey, why are you ignoring me?"

Rafe made his way to the Sacred Spire, stopping in front of the ancient meditation stone. "Great. How the hell am I going to move this thing out of the way?"

His question was met with silence.

"Hey, Sith spit, any ideas?"

More silence.

"I can talk freely down here," Rafe assured the Sith.

"I was just doing what you did, ignoring you," the Sith said amusedly.

Rafe glared daggers at his lightsaber. "Don't get all passive-aggressive. I'm doing you a favor by keeping you company."

The Sith chuckled. "I suppose you're right. It was boring not being able to talk to anyone for hundreds of years."

"So, are you going to help me or not?" Rafe asked, focusing his attention back on the ancient stone.

"That's your test, Rafe," the Sith said. "You need to prove that you're worthy of wielding my power."

"I don't need your power."

The Sith let out a democic cackle. "Really. Every time you've managed to use the Force it was because of your survival instinct. The Jedi only care about protecting others, right? So far, you haven't been acting like a Jedi."

Rafe threw his lightsaber at the ancient stone. "Shut the fuck up! You don't know what you're talking about!"

"Very well," the Sith said. "I'll be here when you're ready to come to me.

The Sacred Spire went silent after, and Rafe headed back up to his dormitory.

Rafe suddenly stopped next to the meditation chambers, sensing someone close by. Someone's watching me… He whipped around, reached his arm out, grabbed someone by the throat, and pinned them against the wall, his blazing eyes demanding answers.

The person gasped under his chokehold. "R-Rafe… I-It's me…"

Recognizing the voice, Rafe instantly let go, backing away. "Yuki?! What the hell are you doing down here?"

She dropped to her knees, coughing furiously, clutching her chest.

Guilt flashed through Rafe's eyes. "Sorry. I was just being cautious. It's instinct."

Taking another deep breath, Yuki stood up, seeming to get her breathing under control. "It's… fine. I understand. You have very sharp instincts."

Rafe ignored her compliment. "So what are you doing down here."

"I wanted to ask you the same thing."

They both stared at each other, not saying anything. Despite how dark it was, Rafe could see what her blue eyes were saying clearly.

"What were you doing in the Shrine in the Depths?" Yuki finally asked, sounding more curious than suspicious.

"I just needed to clear my head," Rafe said. "And I wasn't even able to get down there. I was only in the Sacred Spire."

Yuki's eyes narrowed. "You needed to clear your head in such a dark place?"

"I told you I never made it down there."

"But you tried to," Yuki pointed out.

Rafe grunted out his annoyance. "So, why were you following me?"

"I was just curious."

Seems to me that you're more suspicious than anything. And I thought you were different than the others… Rafe didn't know why he was so disappointed. He never wanted to trust others, and he especially didn't want others to trust him. But Yuki showed him from the beginning that she was willing to trust him, even down in the Underworld when they first met. And now here she was, interrogating him like all the other Jedi.

"Is something wrong?" Yuki asked, snapping Rafe out of his thoughts.

He didn't bother to look at her. "No… Nothing at all…" Without another word, he walked back to his dormitory.

Two weeks have passed since Rafe constructed his lightsaber. All he's done in that time was train. He'd been avoiding everyone; spending all his time in the Shrine in the Depths. He would even sleep down there most nights, too exhausted from training to even stand. He was currently down there now, training.

"You know, training on your own is good and all, but how do you expect to actually gain power if you don't train with anyone to test your abilities against?" the Sith asked.

Rafe flipped to the side and swung his lightsaber in a sidecut, holding his blade in a reverse grip, then flipped it around and caught it, the blade facing the ground, and stabbed it in the ground. "You know," he said, "I expected you to be pure evil, being a Sith and all. But you're nothing like what the Jedi make the Sith out to be."

"The Jedi don't know anything. They're ignorant fools who think they should be in control of everything."

Yet they follow a corrupt government. So who's actually in the right? Rafe ignored his question and continued training.

"Master Arakan!" Yuki called out, running toward the dark-cloaked figure.

He turned around, his green eyes slightly widening in curiosity. "Yes?"

"Have you seen Rafe?"

He shook his head. "I haven't."

Yuki lowered her head, her bangs hiding the disappointment that swam through her eyes. She hadn't talked to Rafe since that night two weeks ago. She hadn't even seen him in that time. She blamed herself, feeling like it was her fault for pushing him away from everyone by essentially interrogating him.

Why would I even question him like that? I was only curious, so why did I press the matter?

She didn't have any answers, and she didn't want to face Rafe until she did. She could sense his distrust in her right before he left that night. She'd wanted to take it back so many times, but she couldn't since she had no idea where Rafe was spending all of his time.

"Don't worry," Arakan reassured her. "The brat's going to be fine."

Yuki narrowed her eyes. "Why do you speak so rudely toward Rafe?" Why am I angry?

Arakan blinked, seeming to be surprised by Yuki's sudden question. "It's the only way I can get him to listen. He's different from the rest of us."

"He doesn't trust us." She lowered her head in disappointment. "At least, he doesn't trust me."

"No, you're right," Arakan sighed. "He only trusts himself." He too lowered his head, as if he was also disappointed. "I need to give him a reason to trust us. Otherwise, he might be the Jedi's downfall…"

Yuki looked at him curiously. "What do you mean?"

Arakan kept his gaze lowered to the floor. It was like he wanted to tell Yuki his reasoning but couldn't.

"Master Arakan!"

Both Jedi turned to see Master Kenobi walking toward them.

"What is it, Master Kenobi?" Arakan asked plainly.

"The Council wishes to speak with you."

Arakan nodded, but he had a questioning look in his eyes. "Check in the Shrine," he whispered in Yuki's ear.

She nodded and watched as both masters walked away.

Arakan stood in the center of the Council Chambers, dully staring at the masters who sat in front of him.

Mace Windu spoke first. "It's been nearly two months since Rafe became your apprentice. How is his training coming along?"

"Just fine."

Those two simple words were laced with such disinterest Arakan could practically sense the shock each Council member was feeling.

"Do you know where he is now?"

I have an idea… Arakan decided to lie about his speculation. He and the boy would surely be expelled from the Order if they knew the truth. "Not at the moment, no."

Yoda leaned forward in his seat, his ears curling toward Arakan like accusing fingers. "Take lightly, the decision to appoint another apprentice to you, the Council did not. Watch over him, you must."

Like any of you care. The hot inferno that blazed in Arakan's heart was extinguished with a deep exhale of breath. "Just get to the point already."

"We want to test your apprentice to see if he's actually worthy of being a Jedi and is capable of going on your next mission."

Mace Windu's explanation awakened the blazing inferno once again. The fact that they openly voiced their distrust of Rafe infuriated Arakan.

"What's my next mission?" Arakan asked.

"That's not what you should be concerned about at the moment, Arakan," Mace Windu said sternly.

They're all too worried about what Rafe is capable of instead of focusing on the war. He knew Rafe was more than capable of going to war with him, but in the past two weeks, he hadn't seen much of him. He could sense the guilt in Yuki earlier. He knew about that voice in Rafe's crystal and that he'd been talking to whatever Sith they were. It didn't corrupt him, did it?

"Test your apprentice, we will," Yoda said. "To the Sparring Arena, bring him."

Arakan nodded. "Very well."

Without waiting for confirmation, he left the Council Chambers.

Arakan stormed through the hallway. He couldn't believe how stupid the Council was! And now he had to find the brat and make sure he was prepared for whatever the Council threw at him.

Just you wait, Master Windu… Rafe will prove he's more than worthy of being a Jedi; a true Jedi.

"Master Arakan!"

"Hm?" Arakan turned to see Anakin walking toward him, his usual grin plastered on his face. "What is it?"

"You just had a meeting with the Council it would seem," Anakin said. "Is everything alright?"

"Everything's fine," Arakan grunted. "Now leave me alone. I have somewhere to be."

"Hey, wait up. How's your new apprentice, Rafe?"

The mention of Rafe made Arakan's blood boil to the point his entire body was shaking. He suddenly Force pushed Anakin into a nearby pillar, letting out some of his anger, then walked away.

"What was that about?!" Anakin demanded, catching up to Arakan. "Master Arakan, what's going on?"

Arakan turned to face Anakin, his green eyes glowing in fury. "I don't know if you've noticed, but now is not a good time."

"Why? What's wrong?"

"Rafe is fucked if I don't prepare him!" Arakan burst out. "Now get lost so that I can prepare."

"Prepare for what?" Anakin pressed.

Arakan let out a feral growl. He felt like would go on a rampage if he was asked one more fucking question. "A test from the Council to see if he's capable of being a Jedi and fighting in the Clone Wars," he decided to say, hoping Anakin would finally lay off.

"I think I can help with that."

Anakin's statement left Arakan stunned, as if he were shot with multiple stun blasts.

"What?" he asked.

"I can gather up Rex and some of the clones to help out," Anakin said. "The kid's gonna have to know how to cooperate with them, right?"

"All right. Do what you need to do."

"Of course, Master. And bring Yuki along as well. I'll have Ahsoka be tested too. It's better the more Rafe can prove himself, right?"

Arakan understood what Anakin was trying to do, but he wasn't sure if he should take such a big risk. He knew very well both Yuki and Ahsoka were more than capable of operating on and off the battlefield. They could accomplish a mission with or without a squad of Jedi and clones. But Rafe essentially grew up on the battlefield, forced to fend for himself. He'd never worked with others. The fact that he'd been distancing himself from him and Yuki made this matter more difficult.

Dank Ferrik… What the hell am I supposed to do?

He knew Rafe was capable of coming up with an effective plan during a battle, with or without an ally. He proved that when he first learned lightsaber combat.

But that crystal of his could end up getting in the way and cloud his judgment. What should I do about that?

Arakan shook the thought away, deciding to put faith in his apprentice.

"Master Arakan, is everything alright?" Anakin asked, snapping Arakan out of his thoughts.

"I'm fine. Gather up your squad. I'll do the same."

"Yes, Master."

And with that, they went their separate ways.

"Someone's here."

"I know that," Rafe said, glancing behind him. He pulled out his knife and threw it at the person walking down the stairs, using the Force to amplify the power behind his throw.

"You're that angry with me?" It was Yuki, who used the Force to hold the knife in front of her, and approached him.

"What are you doing down here, softy?"

"Softy?" the Sith asked.

"I just wanted to talk to you," she said. "It's been two weeks since we last talked. Have you been spending all of your time down here?"

"It's none of your business what I do," Rafe said coolly. "All that matters is getting our missions accomplished, right?"

"Being a Jedi is much more than completing a mission." Yuki took a pleading step forward, and Rafe instinctively took a step back. "We need to be aware of what's going on both on and off the battlefield."

"We haven't been assigned a mission, so there's no need for us to talk to each other." Rafe turned around to continue training.

"You don't trust me, do you?" Yuki asked sadly.

There was something in her tone that shook Rafe. Most people were indifferent to his distrust of others, but Yuki sounded genuinely hurt that he refused to trust her.

He would usually just lash out at anyone who questioned him or tried to force something on him, but he wasn't angry, not at Yuki at least. He was more so angry with himself than anyone, because he allowed people to get close to him. He allowed himself to be weak to rely on others. It felt like a disgrace to his very existence.

"There's no point in answering since you already know, right?" he decided to say.

Yuki lowered her head, hiding her expression from Rafe. "You don't have to do everything on your own. You have friends who can protect you."

"I have no friends." Rafe's response was as cold as the glare he shot at Yuki. "I've gotten by on my own for fifteen years. I'm not going to start asking for help from the Jedi or the Republic." He deepened his glare. "You think I'm weak just because I'm a rat from the Underworld, don't you?"

"That's not true!" Yuki denied. "Remember when we worked together while training with Master Arakan? You put your trust in me."

"And we got our asses kicked," Rafe refuted. "And that's a shitty excuse to prove that you trust me because I had to rely on your help just to retrieve my fucking lightsaber."

"Rafe, please calm down."

He wasn't going to fall for her sudden composed demeanor. He knew when people were trying to manipulate him.

"That's it, keep contradicting her. Show that Jedi how strong you really are."

The Sith's voice was like a ghost possessing its victim. Rafe could feel it invading his mind.

Rafe clutched his lightsaber with such force his knuckles began to whiten, and he felt like he could crush the alloy metal hilt. In his anger, he threw it. "Just leave me the fuck alone!" he shouted. "I don't need you!"

Yuki took a step back, letting out a frightened gasp. "Okay…" She turned around to leave.

Fuck. "Yuki, wait!"

She just kept walking, her head bowed to the ground.

"Softy!"

She visibly flinched once that word left Rafe's mouth, and slowly turned around to face him. "Can you say that again?" she whispered.

Rafe blinked in confusion, but obliged. "Softy."

A small smile graced her lips. "Thank you… for giving me that nickname, Rafe."

He just blinked again. "Why the hell are you thanking me? It's an insult."

"Not to me. When you call me that, it makes me feel like you care about me; like I actually mean something to you. I actually feel like I'm my own person and not just some Jedi who's only meant to follow orders when I'm around you."

Her explanation completely caught Rafe off guard. Not only was he not expecting her to say that, but he never expected to have such an impact on her.

"Do you trust me, softy?" Rafe asked.

"Yes." Her eyes glowed with the same amount of sincerity as her voice.

"Do you trust me?" It was Arakan who spoke.

Rafe just stared at him impassively. He was sure Arakan already knew the answer.

"Follow me." Without further explanation, Arakan walked to one of the staircases at the end of the shrine and descended them.

Rafe and Yuki followed behind him and entered the chamber below that was filled with rock and lava. Arakan walked all the way to the platform in the center, then turned around to face them.

"Master, what are we doing down here?" Yuki asked.

"Hit me, boy," Arakan said simply.

Rafe blinked. "What?"

"Are you deaf? I said hit me."

Rafe lightly threw his fist at Arakan, who didn't even budge from the impact.

"I'm not made of glass. Hit me like you want to hurt me."

I guess there's no point for me to hold back. You asked for it, you bastard. Rafe charged at Arakan, throwing a flurry of punches, elbows, knees, and kicks at him, making Arakan stumble back with each blow.

"Be careful, you guys!"

Yuki's warning was ignored as Rafe jabbed his elbow at Arakan's knee, making him fall to his knees. Rafe pivoted on the ball of his foot and swept his leg out, but Arakan pushed himself off the ground with the hand he had on the ground and flipped over Rafe, then kicked him over the edge, catching him by the hood of his cloak.

"And you wonder why I don't trust you," Rafe said. The glare he shot at Arakan was as hot as the lava beneath him. "You constantly do crazy shit like this."

Arakan lowered Rafe even further. "Do you trust me to pull you back up?"

Rafe just held his glare.

Arakan sighed. "You give me no choice, then." He let go of Rafe.

Rafe didn't shout or cry out for someone to save him. He just looked up with the same glare that was hot enough to melt through the hottest metal in the galaxy. To his surprise, Arakan jumped down with him. "What the hell are you thinking?! Are you trying to kill both of us?"

Without a word, Arakan grabbed Rafe, used the Force to push them up into the air, and jumped off a rock and onto the platform.

"Do you trust me now?" Arakan asked.

"What the hell makes you think I'd trust you after what you just did?!" Rafe exclaimed.

"I've proven on multiple occasions that I could kill you, but chose not to. I need you, Rafe, which means that I need your trust."

"Then give me a normal reason to trust you. Don't teach me a lesson by nearly getting me killed."

Arakan activated his lightsaber and swung it back at Yuki, who looked too startled to react. Rafe didn't hesitate to grab his wrist, disarming his lightsaber by thrusting his knee under Arakan's wrist and kicking him off the platform.

"Shit!" Rafe slid off the platform and managed to grab ahold of Arakan's wrist, but was sliding too fast to grab ahold of the platform.

Before they could fall to their death, Yuki managed to grab onto Rafe's wrist.

"What are you trying to teach us now?" Rafe asked derisively.

"Shut up, Rafe," Arakan snapped. "We all need to work together to get out of this situation. We all need to put in an equal amount of Force energy necessary to give Yuki enough strength to pull the both of us back up."

"And how do I do that?"

Arakan closed his eyes, and Rafe suddenly felt a surge of energy flowing through him.

"Just transfer all of your Force energy into your hand and release it," Arakan explained.

Rafe closed his eyes and transferred his Force energy into his hand. He could feel himself getting weaker, and was beginning to lose his grip on both Arakan and Yuki.

Yuki started pulling, and both of them were slowly being raised onto the platform. She let out a loud groan as she finally managed to pull them all the way up, then collapsed, panting heavily, as was Rafe. Arakan however, seemed to be completely fine.

"How about now?" Arakan asked Rafe.

Rafe held his stare, then nodded. "Despite how fucking crazy you are, you're intentions are good. I trust you." He looked at Yuki. "Both of you."

Yuki smiled. "Thank you, Rafe."

He nodded. "Now let's get the hell out of here."

Rafe followed Arakan and Yuki to an empty hangar, where a whole crowd of Jedi and Clones were waiting.

"Glad you guys could make it," Anakin said. "Rafe, meet Rex and the boys."

"Hello, sir," the clone with blue armor on his left shoulder and both his outer thighs, Rex, greeted.

Rafe arched an eyebrow. "'Sir'?"

"You're a Jedi, so when you're on missions, you essentially outrank them," Arakan explained.

"The name's Rafe."

Rex tilted his head, as if he wasn't expecting that response.

"Don't worry, Rex, you'll get used to it," Ahsoka reassured the clone. She looked at Rafe. "Are you ready for the test?"

"Let's just get this over with," Rafe muttered.

"So, what are we doing?" Yuki asked.

"That's for you three to figure out," Mace Windu said from the balcony above. "Just remain there. You'll know when the test has started."

"Remember, work together," Arakan said, then walked away with Anakin.

Rafe wanted to hide; to get some sort of advantage over whatever situation they were about to be in; but he knew he had to stay put. He activated his lightsaber, as did Ahsoka and Yuki.

The entire hangar was dead silent. It was like they were the only three in there, but Rafe knew they were going to be ambushed. It was too obvious.

"Move."

His simple command seemed to confuse the other two Jedi.

"But we were told to stay here," Yuki said.

"I don't think it's wise to disobey an order," Ahsoka added.

"You both must've noticed, haven't you?" Rafe asked them. "This is an ambush. And the last thing you want to be is a still target. Now move."

Right when they ran toward a stack of metal crates, several stun blasts were fired at them.

"What do you guys think the objective is?" Yuki asked.

Rafe glanced around, spotting at least twenty clone troopers. "We need to take them out."

"Wait, Rafe," Ahsoka advised.

He looked at her, his eyes demanding an explanation. "What?"

"I've trained with clones several times, especially with the 501st. We need to get past them. They're trying to test out teamwork."

"Getting past them isn't going to do us any good if they can still shoot at us," Rafe pointed out.

"So do we all charge together, or should we separate?"

"We need to stick together in a situation like this," Yuki said. "That way if one of us gets injured, the other two will be able to provide cover."

"Good point, Yuki," Ahsoka said. "Now follow me."

They jumped out of the cover of the crates and ran toward the barrier of clones, deflecting stun blasts with their lightsabers. Rex crossed his arms, pointing to both his sides, and several groups of clones surrounded the three Jedi.

"Fall back!" Ahsoka called.

They regrouped back to the safety of the metal crate.

"We're completely exposed out there," Rafe said. "We can't get in close because of all the stun blasts. Any ideas, Ahsoka?"

Ahsoka smirked. "I see you're finally being cooperative."

"Do you have a plan or not?" Rafe pressed.

Ahsoka turned her gaze to the clones, who were slowly closing in on them. "Normally if they were droids, we'd just cut them down no problem, but these are our comrades, so the only way we can beat them is to redirect their shots back onto them."

"I have a better idea."

"What's that?" Yuki asked.

"Just cover me. I need to get in close."

Without further explanation, Rafe charged at the clones. They focused all of their fire on him, but started spreading out their line of fire. Rafe saw Yuki and Ahsoka running on either side of him, deflecting stun blasts and redirecting them back onto the clones, knocking them unconscious.

"Come back to me!"

Both Jedi ran toward him flanking both of his sides.

Rafe narrowed his eyes in determination. Almost there. He ducked under the shot a clone just fired and used the hilt of his lightsaber to knock his blaster out of his hands. He caught the blaster and started shooting at the clones.

"Ahsoka, behind you!" Yuki alerted.

Ahsoka swung around, but before the clone could hit her with a stun blast, Rafe used the Force to push her out of the way. He then got in front of her to provide cover.

"Thanks for that."

Rafe nodded, stunning another clone. "They're trying to trap us. We need to get on the outside."

"I have an idea, Rafe," Yuki said, grouping up with them.

"What is it?" he asked curiously.

"On my signal, jump backward."

He and Ahsoka nodded their understanding, waiting for Yuki's signal. It seemed to be taking forever since the clones were closing them in even more.

"Any time, Yuki!" Ahsoka said, sounding panicked.

Suddenly, Yuki used the Force to pull all of the clones toward them.

Rafe and Ahsoka both jumped, flipping behind the clones and landing behind them.

"Now, Rafe!" Yuki signaled.

Rafe started stunning all of the clones in front of him, moving in sync with Yuki and Ahsoka as they circled around the clones.

All of the clones were eventually stunned, but that didn't stop any of the Jedi from gaging their surroundings for any more potential threats.

Rafe heard stun blasts fired from behind, and turned around, widening his eyes as he just stood still.

"Rafe, get down!" Yuki shouted, tackling him to the ground.

Ahsoka charged at Rex, deflecting every stun blast he shot at her. She flipped over him when she got in close. "Now!"

It was Yuki's turn to charge at Rex, who started firing at both Jedi.

Rafe charged at Rex from behind, deflecting his stun blasts with his own. Rex fired another shot, but he rolled into a somersault and threw his knife, dodging the stun blast.

Rex casually avoided the knife, but Rafe used the Force to angle the projection of the knife toward one of Rex's blasters. The knife embedded itself in the hole of the blaster, rendering it useless, much to Rex's surprise. That gave both Yuki and Ahsoka more than enough time to disarm him of his other blaster.

"You all did well," Rex said. "That was very impressive."

Rafe started walking toward them, narrowing his eyes as he noticed Rex's hand snaking around the knife he used to disarm his gun.

"But when you're on the battlefield, you can never let your guard down!"

Before Rex could attack Ahsoka, Rafe fired a stun blast at him, knocking him unconscious.

"You should take your own advice, Captain Rex," he said.

Rafe watched as all of the clones got to their feet after regaining consciousness.

"That was a very surprising shot, kid," Rex told Rafe as he approached him. "You're not half bad. I'd love to go on missions with you."

"So does that mean I passed?" Rafe asked.

"That's up to the Council," Arakan said from behind him.

Mace Windu was staring down at them from the balcony, his piercing gaze as sharp as Rafe's knife."Rafe, you have displayed both skills with a lightsaber and a blaster as well as teamwork. You listened to your comrade's plans and devised your own. Although that last shot was unnecessary."

"If I hadn't shot Rex he would've stabbed Ahsoka," Rafe defended.

"Theoretically speaking," Rex chuckled.

"So is he permitted to go on missions now?" Arakan asked hopefully.

Mace Windu nodded slowly, as if he didn't want Rafe to go on missions.

"Good job, you three," Anakin said as he approached them. "Rafe, I look forward to going on missions with you."

Rafe nodded his thanks.

"Not bad, Rafe," the Sith said. "Looks like you're on your way to becoming a true Jedi."

"Shut up," Rafe internally said. "I don't need your fucking approval. Now go back to hell."

Arakan stared at him for a moment. He probably heard everything, but Rafe didn't care. If Arakan hadn't approached him about it yet, it probably wasn't anything to worry about.

"Everything okay, Rafe?" Anakin asked.

"I'm fine."

"Great. Now, what do you three say about some more training?"

To be continued

AN: I know not too much happened in this chapter, but I hope you all enjoyed it. I wanted to show that despite being a Jedi for nearly two months, Rafe still hasn't changed all that much.

Yuki seems to be getting more attached to Rafe, despite how terribly he treats her. I hope it doesn't seem toxic to any of you.

And Arakan's back at it with his crazy lessons. But I guess they're the only way Rafe's gonna learn.

Rafe's now learning to work together in a real squad (somewhat).

And the whole test with the clones, it's obvious that Rafe, Yuki, and Ahsoka should've been shot within 30 seconds, but they had plot armor. They needed to pass the test in order to go on their next mission.

I know this chapter is kind of filler, but I think there is some well-earned character development throughout. Let me know your thoughts in the reviews.

See ya next time!
