AN: So this is a little later than usual, though I don't know how many people noticed since I never announced my update schedule, lol. For the record, I'm trying to post Tuesdays and Saturdays. Anyway, since this story is moving way faster than I'm posting, and since this chapter and the next kinda go together, ya'll are getting two chapters today. You're welcome. :)

WARNING: All of what you are about to read is straight-up fluff and antics. It has almost no bearings on the plot whatsoever. You have been warned.

Lynkoln: Trust me, if the monks haven't noticed yet, they will. *eyes Cloud Kingdom even more aggressively*
That's totally fine, I love rants! I have a terrible habit of going on tangents, especially about Ninjago, which is definitely going to show in my writing, lol.
As for how Abby convinces the Ninja to let her stay; that kinda gets explained in this chapter.
"Not die cuz they can't Ninja" is one of the best sentences I've ever read, thank you for that. XD

Tomura-chan: Eeeaghh, yes. I personally headcanon that Morro was no older than seventeen when he died, which isn't quite a kid, but kid enough for me. There's a reason the title of this fic is "I'm Here for the Green Ones." ;)

The next couple of days passed by in a blur of emotions. Excitement, disbelief, worry, homesickness… I could hardly believe I was actually living with the Ninja, my heroes! I was surprised I stayed as chill as I did, but honestly, the teens made it easy. They acted like… well, teenagers. They joked, laughed, played games, ate pizza, acted like fools, teased each other… it was impossible for me not to feel at ease with them.

At the same time, I felt a distinct separation that at times was difficult to overcome. These guys had known each other for years. They had fought together, lived through catastrophe, and comforted each other. They had seen each other at their best and their worst. They were more than friends; they were family. And I was a stranger.

It wasn't just that, though. It was also the fact that I knew the future. It nagged constantly, whispering in the back of my mind as I worked and laughed with the Ninja. At night, I lay awake, replaying the events of season five over and over again in my head. Morro especially was always at the forefront of my mind. I committed his voice to memory, letting his words—both those he actually spoke and those I had written in my stories—play on repeat in my ears. I dragged his face up in my mind and tried to memorize every detail, imagining what he might look like in real life. I thought a lot about who he was portrayed as in the show versus how I had portrayed him in my fanfictions. I had a soft spot for the guy—what Ninjago fan didn't?—and I wanted to help him. But how did I help an angsty ghost teen who had been nursing a thirst for vengeance for forty-plus years?

Nya took me shopping the day after I moved in. We didn't get much, since the Ninja were already on a pretty tight budget, but we got enough that I didn't have to wear one outfit all the time. I went ahead and told the Ninja I was from another world. I didn't want to keep more secrets from them than I had to. Some of them were understandably skeptical (mostly Kai), but Zane and Lloyd seemed to believe me, and that was enough for the others to keep their thoughts to themselves.

About three days after I moved in, I sat by the river behind the shop, throwing sticks into the water to watch them drift downstream. I came outside sometimes to escape the people. The Ninja were great, but being five rambunctious teenagers and a teen-emulating android, they could be a lot. As an introvert, I thrived on solitude and found socialization draining. I loved hanging out with the kids, but every once in a while, I needed to step away to recharge.

While I sat listening to the birds and the gurgling water, I thought about the future. I had been weighing things out for days, assessing the pros and cons of telling the Ninja the truth. A major pro was that I could save them a lot of trouble, feeding them bits of key information and warning them about new and old enemies. The cons were the unknown dangers that came with altering the timeline. For some reason, the unknowns scared me. A lot.

I heaved a heavy sigh as I tossed another twig into the river, watching it swirl in the eddies. Whatever I decided, I needed to act soon. There was so much to prepare for in season five alone. We would need deepstone and Vengestone, Nya would need time to hone her elemental powers… And there was one other little plot nugget that I was thinking about exploiting. It was this nugget more than anything that tempted me to tell the Ninja the truth.

A bark of laughter behind me caught my attention, and I glanced over my shoulder as the sound of running footsteps drew closer. As I watched, Lloyd came pelting through the arch, balancing a large shape on his shoulder. It took me a second to realize it was Jay. My eyebrows lifted in confusion and slight amusement as Lloyd hurried toward the river, apparently oblivious of my presence. He didn't seem to see me until I stood, and the boy immediately skidded to a stop.

"Oh, uh… Hey, Abby," He panted, giving me a sheepish grin, "Sorry, I didn't know you were out here."

"Yeah…" I said, eyeing Jay's limp form hanging over Lloyd's shoulder, "So, any particular reason you're carrying Jay like a sack of potatoes?"

"Um…" Lloyd ducked his head, looking embarrassed. From behind the blond's back, Jay piped up helpfully.

"Lloyd's killed me and is going to hide my corpse!"

The Green Ninja reddened slightly, watching me awkwardly through his bangs. Apparently, he was more socially aware than Jay was at the moment. But he needn't have been ashamed of his silliness. It wasn't like I hadn't seen enough of it over the last few days. For a second, we stared at each other as I fought a grin. Finally, I said calmly, "Well, have you asked Kai about it yet? I'm sure he'd be willing to cremate it."

Jay choked in laughter as Lloyd gave me a surprised look, but the expression quickly melted into mischievousness as he said incredulously, "Are you crazy?! I'm trying to hide the body from Nya. No way would Kai dare go against his sister."

I hummed thoughtfully, "Good point. What about the well?"

Lloyd shook his head, "Already thought about that. Too obvious."

I was barely resisting a smile now as the corners of my mouth pulled up, and I tapped a finger against my chin, "Hmmm, this is trickier than I thought." I pondered the predicament for a moment before I snapped my fingers, "I know!"

Waving for the boy to follow, I started around the back side of the shop, headed toward where the Destiny's Bounty was parked. As we snuck along the perimeter of the wall, I murmured, "So why'd you murder Jay anyway?"

"He ate my Smarties!" The blond responded immediately, his tone indignant, "Nobody eats my Smarties!"

I gasped dramatically, "For shame!"

"Oh, you think that's bad?" Jay said, propping himself against Lloyd's back so he could look up at me, "You should see him with gobstoppers. The last time somebody stole his gobstoppers…" The boy trailed off, a haunted look coming into his eyes. Meanwhile, Lloyd reached around to poke him harshly in the ribs.

"Hush you," He ordered, knocking Jay's hands so the redhead hung limply again, "You're dead."

Jay let out a dramatic gurgling sound in response, and I barked a laugh. We had reached the Bounty by now, and I volunteered to go ahead and scout things out. Lloyd agreed, and he stayed hidden by the wall with Jay, who was steadily growing impatient. I made sure no one was around before I strolled casually toward the drawbridge of the ship, keeping my eyes peeled for the other Ninja. I didn't meet anyone on my way up, and after doing a thorough inspection of the upper decks, I hurried back down to give Lloyd the all-clear. Then the two of us—three including Jay—snuck aboard. I led the way belowdecks, making sure to stay on high alert for the others. We had a close call when I met Cole in the hall, but I quickly managed to redirect him away from where Lloyd was hiding.

Finally, we managed to make it to my room. It was really just a spare room the Ninja had cleaned out and set up for me, with a bed and a dresser to keep my new clothes. I had been surprised they had a spare room at all considering how many of them were living on the ship. I told them I was willing to move into Nya's room if they needed the space, but they assured me it was no trouble. I was grateful for the space now as I tugged Lloyd into the room and shut the door behind him.

"All right," I said, shooting the boy a grin, "We can shove the body under my bed until we figure out what else to do with it. No one will suspect him to be in here; they're too polite."

Lloyd's eyes lit up, and he flashed a smile.

"Awesome!" He said excitedly, "That's perfect!"

Without ceremony, he let go of Jay, who fell to the floor with a squawk.

"Ow!" The redhead exclaimed, rubbing his side as he rolled over to glare up at Lloyd, "Can't you be a little more gentle? I'm delicate!"

"You're heavy," The Green Ninja responded bluntly, "Now hush. Dead people don't complain."

"Jay would, dead or not," I joked. Jay gave me a mock pout of offense while Lloyd snorted.

"Okay, help me get him under the bed," He said, grabbing a hold of one of Jay's legs. I couldn't stop grinning as I grabbed the other, and together, we dragged the Lightning Ninja across the floor, much to his chagrin. Ignoring the boy's protests, we shoved him under the bed, where he sneezed once before falling silent.

"Whew!" Lloyd blew out a breath as he rolled his shoulder, wincing, "Thanks. He really was getting heavy."

I shrugged, "No problem. So what now?"

Before Lloyd could reply, Jay let out a gargling moan from beneath the bed. I giggled, "What was that noise?"

Jay didn't respond except to give another groan, this one louder and more insistent. I heard him shift, and his hand suddenly shot out, groping along the floor.

"Ah!" Lloyd yelped, stomping lightly on the wriggling hand, "No! Stay dead!"

Jay didn't stay dead. Instead, he let out a sickening growl and pulled himself out from under the bed, hands groping and jaw slack as his eyes rolled. Lloyd screamed, "JAY'S A ZOMBIE! RUN!"

AN: Fun fact; I yoinked that last line straight from a Ninjago meme. XD
