The pinkette followed stealthily behind the group and she tried desperately to ignore the spine shivering screams coming from behind.
'What the heck! I thought the stranger took care of them, cha!' The rosette grit her teeth, if the dark knights caught up with them there was a large chance she would have to join the fighting. The Naruto in her would demand it of her to help them and the medic in her wouldn't be able to help them fight the shadows without checking out whatever was bothering the shortie. She inhaled deeply, hopefully the shadows just didn't catch up- that would be really helpful since Sakura didn't want to waste any more time worrying about revealing herself.
The shortie who had first been kneeling besides his injured friend said something in a worried voice to the stranger who uttered something in a low voice to the whimpering male he was carrying.

The group stopped for a short break and the three unharmed shorties immediately crowded around their friend when her guide put him down next to the fire he had made. The plumpest hobbit grumbled something in their foreign language, an anguished look on his face. The stranger who was standing a short distance away from the tiny men turned back around when another one of the short men said something. The pinkette's guide told the shorties something just before the blue eyed hobbit gasped and a painfully familiar screech rang through the night.
This caused Sakura, who was perched on top of one of the demonic looking statues, henged as a bird to snap to attention much like the rest of the group. The dark haired man called over one of the shorties who immediately rushed over. They exchanged a number of words, all of which Sakura didn't understand. The rosette still payed attention to their grumbles, trying desperately to make sense of the gibberish.
The conversation ended and they both rushed off into the surrounding woodland, thick sticks that had been torched in hand. The rosette was hesitant whether or not to stay with her guide; on one hand she was following the stranger but on the other she couldn't just leave the three shorties by themselves. After a moment of thinking things through, the emerald eyed kunoichi decided to stay with the shorties and their horse, they did after all seem important to her guide and she knew how hard it was when you lose someone important to you. With the shadows nearby Sakura didn't want to take any chances, she was sure that the stranger could handle himself and her guide wouldn't stray too far. Hopefully the man she had decided to follow would be smart enough to not let the fourth shortie, whom had also wandered off, out of his sight.

She wasn't sure how long it had been since the stranger had gone off along with his short friend but Sakura's senses started tingling. Her back straightened and her green eyes darted around, searching for the owner of the energy she was picking up. It was in that moment when the small campsite the group had set up seemed to glow from a light that's from a souce other then the moon. The medic nin's head snapped to look over to where the light seemed to be emanating from and her eyes widened slightly at the sight that met her.
A stunningly beautiful woman riding a snow white horse appeared from the trees. The female dismounted the majestic animal and slowly walked towards the blue eyed shortie who seemed to be sharing Sakura's shock. The woman had pale skin and long brown locks that fell in waves. Her blue eyes were as clear as day and her lips were a cherry red. The gown she was wearing looked like it was a gift from the heavens and the rosette felt a spike of jealousy rise from within her at the females beauty.
The gorgeous female kneeled down besides the boy and whispered something in something that Sakura could only describe as a song. The pinkette huffed silently when she found that she didn't understand the language the brunette was speaking. It was clear to the kunoichi that the language this woman spoke was entirely different from the tongue she had heard the group conversing in.
'Perhaps this world has many different languages instead of just one?'
The blue eyed shortie closed his eyes and Sakura's muscles tensed. Had the woman done something to him? The two other shorties who were standing off the side observed the woman and one of them whispered something in their language. Sakura's head snapped back to the pretty female when she sensed her guide.
He had kneeled over the blue eyed shortie with an unfamiliar plant in his hands. The ninja's green orbs zoomed in on the plan, examining it from top to bottom.
'I-I don't believe it.. I don't recognise this plant at all..'
'Curse this world and it's unfamiliar.. everything, cha!'
Her guide ripped off a piece of the plant and nibbled on it. Sakura heard one of the shorties mutter something but ignored him in favour of watching the scene below. The woman was now speaking in the same jumbled up language the group were communicating in. She held back the blue eyed shortie's shirt and exposed what looked like a stab wound on the shortie's torso.
Sakura swallowed when she noticed how prominent the veins around the wound were. The stranger put the chewed parts of the plant he had collected over the wound, the boy was gasping loudly for air and the woman said something that was intangible to the pinkette's ears. The female and Sakura's guide got up and helped the still gasping male into the stranger's arms.
The two started walking and one of the shorties called out to them with a questioning tone. Sakura guessed that he was asking where they were going. The woman continued to talk to the man with shoulder length brown hair as he hefted the blue eyed boy onto the horse the woman had previously been riding.
The two started talking in the language the beautiful woman had first spoken in and Sakura silently leaped onto a tree to get closer to the two. She couldn't understand what they were saying but she was still a highly respected shinobi and shinobi knew body language. The two brunettes were facing each other and even though they were speaking in the song like language it was clear to Sakura by their desperate tones that they were having some sort of discussion that could very well turn into an argument. Sakura's brows furrowed and her green orbs moved to look at the injured shortie. They were probably going to take him to a doctor.. perhaps that's what they were discussing?
The rosette thought back to the fight at the old watchtower, it was obvious that the blue eyed male hadn't been injured before then so that meant he had gotten the wound some point during the fight.
'The shorties were holding up their swords, shaking like a baby left out in the snow. One of them charged forward and swung to attack at one of the shadows only to get tossed aside.' The kunoichi went through the whole of the battle in her mind, analysing all that had happened. 'The other two shorties also got pushed aside and that left the blue eyed shortie to defend himself.. he fell and reached inside his pocket and took out a ring. When he slipped on the ring he suddenly vanished. At some point, whilst he was.. gone the shadow in the center of the group of five had stabbed something..' Emerald eyes widened in realisation.
'But why would the dark knights go through all that trouble to stab him? Cha!' Inner cried, this was one big mystery.
'Hmm.. maybe they had meant to do more to him? I mean, sure a simple stab wound can be easily healed with medical ninjutsu but maybe this world doesn't have the same equipment as ours does, they sure don't have the chakra to heal. Now that I think about it the other three had been standing in front of the blue eyed shortie in a protective manner so it's only logical that they were guarding him from the dark knights. Hmm.. so the shadows were after him.. I wonder why..?' The seventeen year old bit her bottom lip. 'They seemed pretty.. I don't know how to describe it exactly but they appeared to be attracted towards the ring like it was some sort of magnet.. maybe they want the ring? The shortie did turn invisible when he put it on..'
'Yeah but if they get it who'll be the one who actually gets to wear it? There's only one ring and like- five of them! Cha!'
'Hmm maybe they're working for someone? Perhaps their master wants the power of the ring for something.. We can't be sure if making one invisible is the only thing the ring can do, we must be cautious.' Sakura heard Inner gasp dramatically in their mindscape.
'Oh! Oh! What if the ring can somehow transport people to different worlds? That would explain how we got here! Cha, I am so awesome for thinking of that!' Sakura blinked, soaking in the information.
'You know.. that actually kind of makes sense..' I mean ninja who could use the power of chakra to destroy villages and seal away demons was all possible in her world so why can't there be a transportation devise that can teleport others from their own land to other ones in this world?
A/N: Oof, I really enjoyed writing this but the last part was hard to write so sorry if it doesn't sound right. Arwen has entered the chat!
I am aware that the whole glowing light thing in the movie was because Frodo was in a hallucinating state but I wanted to make it dramatic..
Do you guys think Inner is onto something with the theory that the ring can transport people to different worlds?
Sorry for any mistakes!
Hope you enjoyed!
