At 2 a.m., Angry Luigi screamed, having a nightmare as Alem tuber punched him in the face.
"Idiot." Alem tuber says.
Skylia woke up on her birthday feeling a mix of excitement and anticipation. As she got ready for work, she couldn't help but feel a tinge of disappointment. She wondered if her husband and kids had forgotten about her special day.
Meanwhile, Angry Luigi was anxious and worried like usual.
"Come on, idiot, we got to prepare a song for mom." Alem tuber says, dragging Angry Luigi along.
Meanwhile, Lisa was getting ready.
Luke was curled up in the fetal position. He had been like that all night.
"You'll win, Luke. Only you are allowed to win." Lucy says.
"Yeah, you're better than all those losers." Lola says.
Luke was rocking back and forth.
"Is he broken again?" Lana asked.
Chalice came "Oh, Lukey…" she says. "Who did this to you?"
"Someone caught sight of the predictions for the finals…and the minute he saw those…he fell into shock and curled up in the position you see him in now." Mugman says.
"Yeah, those people love us." Cuphead says.
"That's it! I quit being a performer! I quit this show!" Lisa says, not caring what Beau had to say. But Beau was there. And he heard every word.
"I am not being selfish here. Yes, Luke's feelings matter. I know this because I dealt with him when he fell in this position many times through elementary school, middle school, and now university. Lisa, I know he matters to you. In a way, he also matters to me." Beau says. "His nerves are fragile right now. You screaming the way you did isn't helping. It just makes Luke feel even more nervous."
Meanwhile, the twins were preparing. "Okay, Gemma, we need to go last. Our mom's birthday is today and we need to do some things." Randy says as Brandy looked down shaking.
"Very well." Gemma says. "Since this is the semifinals, there will be two rounds instead of one. Use your time wisely."
"All right. We just gotta win." Randy says.
Soon, Skylia came home from work tired as she had to prepare so she could support her sons.
"I think they can win. I'm sorry, Luke, I can't support you." she says.
There was an explosion as Wandy tossed a bomb as Angry Luigi screamed and dodged.
Wandy tries to attack as Angry Luigi rises an electric barrier, shocking Wandy. Angry Luigi leaped away
Alem tuber and Wlem collide fists as they try punching each other. They headbutted each other.
With Luke, he could feel his fanbase falling toward everyone but him. He passed out due to high anxiety.
Lisa looks. "Beau, is he dead?" She asked.
"No." Beau says. "The poor guy's anxiety levels are really high, though."
Meanwhile, the battle was getting fierce as the triplets aimed at all 4 as they shot missiles as Wlem and Wandy rushed off.
Angry Luigi froze in fear as Alem tuber punched missiles away.
"Idiot!" Alem tuber says as Angry Luigi was shaking.
"I'll figure something out." he says as grabbed his brother and flew fast and got his surprise. "We have to win, we can't lose. not to Bella, not to Cuphead, not to Luke, anyone." Alem tuber says as Angry Luigi nods, nervously tearing up as his body glitches a bit.
At Inkwell Castle, it was just Luke and Chalice. Chalice could see Luke's face was a mess. She could see how crushed he felt.
She did her charm dance to cheer him up. He only smiled a little.
Lucy came. "I'll use my ball to show you the future and show you your victory." Lucy said and began to do her work as the ball glowed. Chalice tries to calm her husband down.
"The only thing that can calm him down is his victory. He won't listen unless he knows he wins." Lucy says.
The ball shows Luke and Chalice holding the trophy.
"That's the future. See, you will win." Lucy says. Luke looks up at the ceiling.
"Told you, you'll win." Lucy says.
Luke was still very shaken.
"What's wrong?" She asked.
"Luke's nerves are shot." Chalice says.
Soon, it was an hour before the show as Cuphead was getting ready. "We'll win for sure." Cuphead says.
All Mugman can think about is the condition he saw Luke in before leaving the castle earlier. Mugman had a sensitive side, and it was showing as he sheds steamed milk tears.
"Cuphead, you should have seen him…" Mugman says
"I know he's upset, but he usually gets better." Cuphead says.
"Cuppy, this wasn't his usual pre-show fit." Mugman says.
They soon go to comfort Luke. Luke was sucking on Chalice's straw as a comfort mechanism.
He couldn't handle a loss. He wanted to win. If he lost, well, he'd never smile again. He had only lost ANH once. And it wasn't pretty.
"He's only lost once " Chalice says.
"Yeah, you broke him, all because you were so desperate to win." Cuphead says to Chalice.
"I made myself swear I would never perform without him again. I can't make that mistake anymore. It really hurt Lukey. I think that's part of why he's scared and upset about this." Chalice says.
"Luke's gonna lose to Chally again…Luke is scared…Luke's hurting…" Luke says.
"Luke, I'm on your side…please remember that." Chalice says.
Soon, the cosmic buddies arrived at the arena. "We're here." Alem tuber says.
"Maybe you should drop out. Luke's close to mentally breaking." Jason says.
"What?!" Alem tuber says
"No way is he going to win!" Alex says.
"We'll win." Beth says.
The rival teams glared at each other as Angry Luigi was anxious and glitching.
"You'll never win. You're just a burden!" Insanity says. Angry Luigi cries and screams.
"Yeah, I still think all you teams need to let Luke win." Jason says and notices Beau.
"You too, ya jerk. You're actually in 1st right now." Jason says to Beau.
"But it's my dream to win." Beau says. "And Luke is a friend. I've been through it all with him. You're his friend, too. I've seen him in this state more than one time."
"So, you understand your dream can never happen, right?" Jason asked.
Beau nods. "If I don't win, it's okay. I'll be just as happy taking second or third. Trust me." He says. "I've dealt with winning first place a ton in my family. Not winning the gold would actually make me feel good for once."
"Yeah, Luke always wins. I'm so happy with that." Alem tuber says with sarcasm.
"Just drop out, please. This is the only way Luke will be happy, if he always wins." Jason says.
Alem tuber grabbed Jason and Angry Luigi and threw them to the ground. "I hope you remember how you were when you were 5, cause that's how the rest of your life will be. We are done. Go hang around with Luke since you love him more. I'm done." Alem tuber says as he decides to drop out.
Angry Luigi's mentality broke as he was a sobbing mess.
"Jason, what did you do?" Savannah asked.
"Luke always has to win and I just ensured it." Jason says.
"So you had to tear a family apart." Savannah says.
"A family of idiots." Jason says as he leaves.
"Okay, fine, We'll drop out." Beth says.
"Thanks." Jason says off screen.
The siblings were arriving and saw Brandy trying to commit suicide. Luke sees the damage his feelings have caused.
"Don't mind him. Let's just let him commit suicide or something. Who cares? He and his brother caused us pain in that fight. It's great for them to get what they deserve." Lola says.
"Lola, that's actually wrong. Twins getting separated is a big deal. Wouldn't you hate it if Lana left you?" Lori asked.
"I would, but Randy's a big jerk." Lola says.
"Brandy, stop!" Luna says, but he wouldn't listen.
"He's not going to listen. We need to get them back in the show." Lana says.
"But Luke needs to win." Lisa says.
Luke is watching this scene, quietly looking on.
"I'm useless and unwanted." Brandy sniffed.
"Look, Brandy was separated from his twin at birth. That wasn't healthy. They didn't reunite until the day we all met Luke." Luna says.
"Jason, what have you done?!" Chrissy asked.
"What needed to be done." Jason says.
"Just stop." Luke says.
"Isn't this what you wanted? To win?" Jason asked.
"Not at the cost of everyone just turning on each other like this." Luke says.
"So? Those two always fight." Jason says.
"They sounded so desperate to win. Why? Just to prove who the superior team is." Luke says. "That's the reason."
"No, that's not it. They've never had a reason to get along. Tina came up with the idea. She said that they would win." Savannah says.
"Then I'll make this easy. Chalice?" Luke asked.
"Don't you dare." She says.
"Yeah, you still gotta crush those twins." Cuphead says.
"Very well. But no one is dying or turning on each other tonight. Save it for the stage." Luke says. "And whoever moves on to the finals just moves on to the finals."
Soon, the show was beginning.
"Tensions are high on this semi-finals night." April says. "We are live from Greendale to host this show. But tonight, this will be a triple elimination show."
"Meaning that only three teams will go to the finals. So votes are crucial to sending your team of choice to be in the final three." Gemma says. "Two rounds of competition are on the table tonight."
"Coming up for their first round is the team of Lisa and Beau!" April says. "The first round performance theme is Favorite Performance Of Season 11."
The two of them come on stage and do their "Popular Song" performance.
Fans cheered for them as they danced. They soon finished.
Luke is preparing himself. Chalice can see he looks less nervous.
"You seem healed. For the most part, anyway." She says.
"Chally, I have a newfound purpose now. Yes, I want to win, don't get me wrong. But I don't want that want to turn everybody against each other and I don't want it to be the cause of a fight between the other teams. I just want to have fun doing it at this point. And like I said, whoever goes to the finals goes to the finals." Luke says. "And whoever doesn't just doesn't."
Chalice smiled. "Then let's have fun, Lukey. Besides, I've won too many times. It'll be nice to finally relax without all that pressure to win." She says.
"Coming up next is the famous duo of Cuphead and Mugman! What performance will they do for us? Let's find out now!" April says.
Fans cheered as the cups did their "Sharp Dressed Man" performance.
The fans loved them. They finished as the crowd went wild for them.
"Coming up next is the duo of Bella and Beth!" April says. The two of them came out and did their "Set It All Free" performance as the crowd was loving it.
Soon, they finished.
"Coming up next are the stars of the show… Luke Huntingtion and Mrs. Chalice!" April says.
Luke and Chalice smiled at each other and took the stage, doing their performance to "Candyman" by Christina Aguilera.
Fans cheered for them as they performed.
Luke carried her as they finished their performance and Chalice flashed the crowd a charming smile. The crowd went wild.
The two of them then went offstage.
"Coming up next is the duo of Brandy and Randy Waterlash!" Gemma says. "Let's see what their favorite Season 11 performance was."
The crowd cheered as the twins did their "Uptown Funk" performance as the fans cheered.
Soon, it was break time. Luke and Chalice sat on a couch together. The round 1 leaderboard was posted as the others looked.
Luke and Chalice were in 1st. At that, the couple just smiled modestly.
Bella was getting ready. "Okay, let's do this." She says as there was an alarm.
"A house is on fire! Let's do this!" Ipkiss says.
"Okay." Crazy says.
"You guys can go on the mission. We'll stay here." Angry Luigi says.
"We always were the better team." Bella says, but Delta speeds off as she and Bella shapeshift into birds and fly off.
Luke was getting an interview.
"So, Luke, how are you feeling right now?" April asked.
"Nice, the show's been nice so far." Luke says.
"We're deciding to not really focus too much on winning. Like Beau says, we've won a lot and in a way, he's won a lot, too. Besides, there's movies and other big things for us to look forward to." Chalice says.
"So whether we go to the finals or not, we're following the Beau Yates philosophy for the rest of the show and beyond." Luke says.
"Very well said, you two." April says with a smile.
Soon, Beau and Lisa were being interviewed by Gemma.
"How are you two feeling right now?" Gemma asked.
"Amazing!" Lisa says.
Soon, Bella and Beth perform for the second round.
"The second round theme is Show Your Spark! This is another type of freestyle round, so let your talent shine through!" Gemma says.
Bella and Beth did "Could Have Been Me" by Halsey as the crowd looked on.
Luke and Chalice were putting on their custom car wash uniforms backstage as the cups admired them.
"Neat!" Cuphead says.
"You two have become inspirations." Mugman says. "I can't get enough of your interview…"
Beau smiles. "My philosophy has spread to Luke and Chalice. All three of us are inspirations." He says.
Soon, Angry Luigi and Alem tuber came on stage
"Today is a very special day. Can we all wish our mother a happy birthday?" Alem tuber says.
Everyone began to sing as Skylia smiled.
Soon, the twins performed "Jump Up, Super Star!" following up with the Mario Bros. rap.
Wlem and Wandy glared as they pulled a rope. Water fell on them instead of the Waterlashes.
Later, they finished.
"Folks, being a hero isn't about being famous and stuff. It's about helping others and sometimes we have to accept we can't always win. Other people have dreams and stealing those dreams are wrong." Alem tuber says as fans cheered and clapped
"Now if you excuse us, we have some major hero work to do. Come on, you two." Delta says, grabbing the twins and speeding off stage.
"Well…coming up next, you know them and love them, Beau and Lisa!" April says as fans cheered.
Beau and Lisa smile and do "She Blinded Me With Science" by Thomas Dolby.
Fans cheered, loving the song and dance.
Soon, Luke and Chalice came on stage as fans cheered.
They skated on stage and were on a car wash set they called "The Charming Car Wash" as they did their routine to "Car Wash" by Christina Aguilera ft. Missy Elliott. They skated around a variety of car props and smiled the whole time, in sync and in step. They finished with a trick they practiced specially for this routine.
The crowd loved this. They loved the star power this couple had.
"Well, you guys gave it your all, but it's still pretty clear the fans still want Luke to win." Jason says.
"Back to being loser heroes and stuff." Angry Luigi says.
"Yeah, other than being heroes, we don't have star power or anything." Bill says.
"Plus, Luke's been clearing out the villains so I guess there isn't much left. Do we retire?" Alex asked as they weren't sure.
"At least we still have our statue." Alem tuber says.
"Coming up next is Cuphead and Mugman!" April says. Fans cheered as they came on.
They performed the Cuphead Rap by JT Music. The fans loved it.
Soon, they were counting up the votes.
"Who's going to the finals?" Bella asked.
After some time, April and Gemma came out.
"The ones going to the finals are Luke & Chalice, Cuphead & Mugman…and finally, Lisa & Beau!" April says.
"What?!" Lisa asked, stunned.
"We lost…Brandy!" Randy growled.
"What? Everyone only talks about the Elemental Strike. They don't know that the Cosmic buddies or Team real even exist." Bill says.
"Are you saying we're jokes?" Randy asked.
"That's what everyone thinks." Bill says.
"I wanted to win so the war would end." Randy says.
"It's Mom's birthday." Emma says.
"Come on. Let's go home." Skylia says.
"So are we entering next season?" Brandy asked.
"Probably not. These fans are just NPC's who just think of past seasons and want it to stay the same. heck the show received backlash and nearly got canceled when Luke didn't show and the time he lost the show was really close. Fans only watch for Luke, Chalice, the cups…and even Beau. We don't matter to anyone." Randy says as a missile hits the statue of the Cosmic buddies.
"For once, you're right. Time to destroy you. Justice for Luke!" Troy says.
"This is why Luke always wins. Because fans see people like us as horrible people." Bill says.
"We just want to be accepted." Savannah says.
"That will never happen." Tristan says.
"Yeah, you losers actually thought you had a chance at winning…" Troy says.
"Great, just what we need, a war…" Alem tuber says as an alien ship landed.
"What the?!" Lisa asked.
"Aliens we hired to destroy you." Troy says.
"You're going too far! Luke doesn't want this war!" Skylia says. For once, she was right.
"Yeah, but that's not up to him anymore. It's up to us to destroy you." Troy says as one of the aliens shot a laser at Emma, but Skylia got in the way, getting hit.
"An alien war. We've never really done that." Alex says as two aliens took him down.
"Okay, I'll show you all true star power." Alem tuber says, turning into his super Saiyan state as he leaped and kicked one. Then leaped punching one into a building before 6 of them took him down from behind.
Delta and Bella rushed and punched one. Chrissy dodged one's attacks as it shot a blast causing an explosion
Angry Luigi was knocked down.
Beth walked back as both Cosmic buddies and Team real were surrounded
"If we're going down, we're going down fighting." Delta says, attacking a few.
This was being recorded on the news.
Angry Luigi took out a Tanooki leaf and turned into Tanooki Angry Luigi and flew up kicking one as he tail swiped 4 of them before another one took him down.
Jason helps Angry Luigi up but an Alien attacks Jason.
"There's too many!" Savannah says.
"Yeah, two shape-shifters aren't enough for once." Bella says and shape-shifted into Belos as Delta shapeshifted into Deadpool and shoots away as some aliens
"Luke, we need help for once…" Emma says as an alien kicks her down.
Luke arrives on the scene and goes on camera. He tells everyone that's watching that this has truly gone too far.
"No, it hasn't." Troy says as Keith records.
"Savannah…" Sal says as he runs in
"Sal, no!" Savannah says as aliens rush for Sal, but Savannah pulls him out of the way as alien dogs charged for them.
"We're too cool to go!" Crazy and Ipkiss say as Chrissy gulps.
"STOP! ALL OF YOU!" Luke shouted. "For once, you're all going to listen! And if you interrupt, you'll get your behinds sent to space prison, courtesy of my friends, Miles and Loretta Callisto. He's the space police chief and she's the police sergeant. Or you'll get an eternity of weather events unlike any other. Your choice."
"Just what we need, more space police." Delta groaned.
"Yeah, let's just continue our epic fight." Alex says.
"Fine, you haven't heard the last of us." Troy says as they head off.
"Now it's time to listen!" Luke shouted. "Yes, while I do deserve justice, there's no need to be hurting each other because of it. You guys are tearing each other apart because of a loss and because you guys think you're not good enough. I'm sorry you guys lost the show and a lot of other things. There'll be other opportunities to show how good you are. You just have to wait for them. You can't expect them to happen overnight. And as for this war, I thought I said it was over months ago. I said it was over, but nobody in my fanbase wants to listen to me when I say stuff like that. Let's stop this once and for all and quit all this while we still have our dignity and other things." Luke says.
In the background, Lynn and Lola were taking out the aliens while the Cosmic buddies just looked on.
"All done, who's next?" Lynn asked with a smirk.
The aliens were running as Lynn tried to jump in the ship, but it flew off.
"Wait, I'm not done kicking your butts!" Lynn says.
"We better prepare for the finals." Cuphead says.
"For sure." Mugman says. "We have four routines to plan and practice."
