Magic Among Cybertron
ESKK: Sorry for the delay I had wanted to get this and the next chapter out before Christmas, but that plot failed so yeah here you go. Please enjoy leave reviews behind for this story, ok.
(Start Axelon Base)
Moonracer was seen walking through the halls with Harry sitting on her shoulder. It was midafternoon and the pair had spent most of the morning doing chores with Harry enduring Preceptors long winded rambling lectures. Harry respected the chief science officer of the base, but can't he just get to the damn point of anything. Of course, Hermione finds Preceptor to be a wellspring of knowledge and has several notebooks filled with what he has to say.
"Finally! I thought he'd never shut his vocalizer!" Moonracer said as she walked with Harry on her shoulder. "So, kiddo we got through that what say you and I sneak off to the speedway, show those Formula One's what a real racer looks like." Moonracer offered but Harry begged to differ on that.
"I don't know Racer, last time we went out and did stuff like that mum was not too happy with us when we came back." Harry said as Moonracer could never forget that incident. The Femme Scout had taken Harry, street racing with her one evening and got a few crooks on their tail after Moonracer smoked them in a race. Then Decepticons showed up and when Moonracer returned to base trying to sneak in she was met with a very angry Elita.
"Hey, blame the Cons for that one." Moonracer defended as she had no idea that would happen.
"But I heard they have an amateur racing circuit in town." Harry offered as he hoped Moonracer would take that one.
"Well sure as the pit its better than listening to brainiac rambling on without end on the existence of a door." Moonracer said unaware of Preceptor coming up behind her.
"I beg your pardon Moonracer?" Preceptor asked causing Moonracer to jump in fright as Preceptor walked past her and to his console.
"For a big bot he's quiet." Moonracer mumbled to Harry who nodded in response to her statement. Just then a car engine was heard before from it Chromia drove in before letting Hermione out. Once Hermione was out Chromia transformed into robot mode and made her way to the other bots. Moonracer saw this and let Harry jump down to her open palm before she set him down on the platform. "Ok kiddo go play with your girlfriend." Moonracer said as Harry blushed at Moonracer's teasing.
"We're just friend!" Harry argued as Moonracer smirked and headed over to Chromia.
"So quiet day?" Moonracer asked as she looked to Chromia.
"Yeah, Ironhide is with Sirius helping him sort out his family's finances with the goblins, Red Alert is currently helping Remus get ready for the furry day, Commander and Jetfire should be returning from patrols soon, and Harry is over there." Moonracer said pointing to where Harry was meeting with Hermione. "Right now, it's us, and brainiac over there." Moonracer said before the Ground Bridge activated in which Elita and Jetfire returned to base. "I spoke too soon." Moonracer said as Harry and Hermione saw them arrive.
"Hello Mrs. Elita/Welcome back mum." Hermione and Harry both greeted as they looked over to the newly returned Autobots.
"Oh, Jetfire thank goodness your here I had a few questions I was hoping you can answer." Hermione said with a pen and notebook ready.
"Why of course Hermione, I can answer your questions once I've logged in my patrol reports." Jetfire said as he put duty before personal pleasures.
But before he could do that Preceptors instruments began to activate. "Commander long ranged scanners have picked up a signal on a restricted band from a vessel within this solar system." Preceptor began as he began to get adjust a bit to see what sort of signal it was. "It's an Autobot signature." Preceptor said surprised by this.
"Other Autobots?" Hermione asked as Chromia heard her charge.
"The masses scattered to the stars when Cybertron went dark." Chromia said as she looked to Hermione.
"But Decepticons have used false signals to bait Autobots into traps." Jetfire said as he spoke from past experiences.
"Unknown vessel this is Autobot Base Axelon identify yourself." Elita spoke as she looked to the screen.
"For an Autobot base you guys have a weird way of welcoming you sure you fraggers aren't Cons?" The voice on the other end spoke one which Preceptor recognized.
"Hound?!" Preceptor asked as he heard the voice. "You Gun touting one bot Con Thrasher what are you doing here?" Preceptor asked as he looked to the screen.
"Preceptor you big-brained sniper is that you? What's with all the added security expecting someone?" Hound asked as he sounded happy to hear a familiar voice.
"The planet is under threat of the Decepticons with your current trajectory and speed how long before you may arrive to provide us with an added assistance?" Preceptor asked as he was now doing the talking.
"With my current speed maybe a couple days, if I put the petal to the metal then sometime tomorrow." Hound responded as the Autobots all heard this.
"Hound? I know him by reputation alone he once fought alongside Optimus if I recall correctly." Elita said as she looked to Preceptor. "Can you verify his voice print and keep it short." Elita said and thus Preceptor nodded to this.
"I can guarantee within a margin of error of .01% that this is in fact Hound of the Wreckers in which I served as a sniper before joining the construction of the Ark." Preceptor stated and thus Elita nodded to this making a note to verify with Optimus.
"We will send landing coordinates, Hound safe journey." Elita said and thus Preceptor hung up on him.
In response Moonracer walked over with a smile on her face. "So, who's the new boyfriend brainiac?" Moonracer asked with a smirk on her face.
"Hound, Bulkhead, Ironhide, and I share a history as part of the combat unit known as the Wreckers back during the war for Cybertron where I served as their science officer, sniper, and mission control as needed." Preceptor said as Elita nodded to this.
"Preceptor, inform Optimus and Team Prime of the new arrival see if you can have Bulkhead and Optimus confirm that this is in fact Hound." Elita said as she looked too Preceptor.
"Understood commander." Preceptor said understanding the commanders caution on the situation.
"Jetfire once he's confirmed and when he arrives, I want you to escort his ship to the landing sight." Elita went on direction her order to the teams only flier.
"Yes commander." Jetfire responded and thus it was time to prepare for the new bot's arrival.
"Worried Elita?" Chromia asked as she looked to Elita.
"Yes, the Decepticons might try to intercept him and switch him out with a plant. I want to be ready for that eventuality." Elita said taking every precaution she could to ensure that they don't bring a spy into the base.
"Understood." Chromia responded with a nod to her old friend/commanding officer.
(Scene Break DarkSyde)
At the Darksyde Nightbird entered a lab where the Dragons that had been taken were locked up. On the table a Dragon was seen that was heavily sedated as a femme was seen applying cybernetic augmentations to it. "Ah Thunderblast how goes the operations?" Nightbird asked as she saw the bloodstains from previous operations.
"Disgusting that's what it is." Thunderblast said as she flicked her servos to get the blood off it. "The things I do for the Decepticon cause." She complained as Nightbird glared at her ship's science officer/physician. "Anyway, I got most of these organic reptiles augmented with control gear the first batch should be ready for deployment within a day or so." Thunderblast said as she then had something crawling up her arm. The creature then transformed and connected a spot on her shoulder which Thunderblast smirked. "And according to Scalpel seems their hears have some sort of energy to them and had harvested samples for study." Thunderblast said relaying the report from her minicon partner.
"Good report any value it might have to the Decepticon cause." Nightbird said as Thunderblast nodded and got back to work.
"At your command, Commander Nightbird." Thunderblast said before going back to her current task. "Now do you mind, I'm in the middle of this disgusting task." Thunderblast said as Nightbird was already leaving the lab to let Thunderblast work.
(Scene Break the Next Day Autobot Base Axelon)
The Autobots were gathered in the main command deck with Optimus and Bulkhead both in tow. The two bots had agreed to welcome the new Autobot arrival. Agent Fowler had also been informed in the States as the European Autobots had also informed their liaison. "Hounds ship is approaching the landing zone." Chromia said as they monitored the ships signal.
"Jetfire confirm." Elita ordered and thus Jetfire was heard on the computer.
"I got confirmation on the ship." Jetfire reported as his signal was also on screen next to Hounds.
"A new Autobot, how exciting." Hermione said as she and Harry were on one of the human sized walkways as the Minicons were each excited for the new arrival as well.
"Do you suppose he is here to stay?" Harry asked as he looked a bit hopeful.
"We will need every able Autobot we can find what with Megatron and his ilk on Earth." Elita said as Optimus agreed with his Conjunx Endura.
"Hound is a loyal combatant and an old friend, his aid will be beneficial to the Autobot cause on this world." Optimus added as he looked to his fellow Autobots.
The Ground Bridge could be heard as Preceptor was working on his station. "Ground Bridge is cycling up." Preceptor said as they were prepared to meet with Hound at the landing zone.
"Pardon me for asking, but why is Hound landing so far from either of your bases?" Emma asked as Hermione's mother was skeptical about this.
"Emma, dear it's for security reasons." Dan said being a former military himself knew how it worked. "The Decepticons can't find either base so for the time being it's better to have the new Autobots land away from either base to avoid giving the location away." Dan said as he had heard about the Nemesis and knew that unlike the Darksyde was still operating.
"That's right its basic protocol in the event the Decepticons are tracking Hounds ship." Chromia added as in the back Bulkhead was pasting back and forth.
"Bulkhead please calm yourself." Preceptor said not even looking away from his station. "I know that logically your both excited and nervous to see a member of our old stomping crew. But I assure you we will see him when we see him, so I humbly ask that you take a seat and wait for further instructions." Preceptor said but then Jetfire was heard on screen with alarms.
"Jetfire to base we got company five Vehicon fliers inbound." Jetfire called in as this meant that the Autobot ship was being tracked.
"Con scum!" Bulkhead growled and thus this meant they had to move fast.
(With Jetfire)
Jetfire was acting as escort for Hound ship as they now had a squadron of Vehicon Troopers on their tailpipes. Jetfire pulled back and began to open fire upon the Vehicons taking two of them out. But they ignored him as they fired upon Hounds ship. Alas despite Hounds attempts to avoid it his ship was hit and thus was on a crash course for the ground. The ship made landfall and slid across the ground before coming to a stop.
Jetfire flew down and stood between the Vehicons and the ship ready to defend Hound with all he had. Priming his blasters Jetfire was ready to fight when suddenly from the wreckage blaster fire came forth at the Vehicons forcing them to back off. From the wreckage Hound came out the large military green Autobot had a rocket launcher attached to his right shoulder, pistols on either side of his hips, ammo belts across his torso, and an assortment of guns on his back. What was also noted was the large tripled-barreled gatling gun. Several grenades were seen on his person as this Autobot Commando was armed to the teeth. HE even had a cigar like object in his mouth as he glared at the Decepticons.
"Hounds in bound!" Hound announced and thus open fired on the Vehicons who ran for cover. "I love starting my day off with a gun fight!" Hound yelled in joy as he fired upon the Decepticons in his way. The vehicons of course fired back but as Jetfire moved to cover Hound instead went head on as he fired his big ass gun on the Cons. "Come and get some cons!" Hound called out challenging the Decepticons as he fired upon them.
Some of the Vehicons got smart and tried to flank Hound but in Hound view they were just dumb. He then grabbed another of his guns and opened fire on the Decepticon with a head shot before putting his big gun away. He then took out a second gun and fired away with it as well as the Decepticons tried to get to Hound. "Come on you wanna take on, Hound!?" Hound challenged with a laugh as Jetfire just watched in shock over what he saw. "HAHAHAHAHA CRY SOME MORE!" Hound laughed as he was enjoying himself.
(Back at the Axelon base)
"Come on, Preceptor get the Ground Bridge up!" Bulkhead called out as he, Moonracer, and Optimus were ready to move.
"I'll prepare sickbay." Red Alert said but Bulkhead laughed to this.
"For whom, the Cons? This is Hound we're talking about the Wrecker who singlehandedly wrecked and entire legion of Cons before backup showed up." Bulkhead said knowing the story of Hound that showed why he was a Wrecker. The Ground Bridge then activated and thus the Autobots charged into the fight to backup Jetfire and Hound.
(Back to the Battle)
The Ground Bridge opened and from it the Autobots ran out with Optimus leading the charge. But instead, they found Hound finishing off the Cons as one of them was trying to fly away. Hound instead aimed his shoulder rocket before firing it off at the Decepticon. The rocket homed in on the con and thus it was inevitable when the con got hit and came crashing down.
Putting his guns away Hound approached the Bots with his cigar still lit while the Decepticon he hit crashed a bit aways behind him. "What took you so long?" Hound boasted as he approached.
"Hound!" Bulkhead called out as he charged at Hound.
"Bulk!" Hound responded and then they chest bumped each other while laughing. But then Hound looked to Optimus and grinned even wider to the leader of the Autobots. "Well, there he is the leader of the free galaxy, if your here Prime then with me its Boomtime." Hound said as he smirked to Optimus who smiled to the Autobot Wrecker/Commando.
"Hound, welcome to Earth. We have much to discuss." Optimus said as he looked to Hound.
"How about fixing my ship for starters." Hound said as he pointed to said ship as Jetfire was already getting a look at it.
(Scene Break Autobot Base Axelon)
"So, we got three bases on this rock, a Titan being one of them, and we made friends with the locals." Hound said as he entered the base with the others. "Anything I missed?" Hound added as he looked to his fellow Autobots.
"No that's just about the gist of it... oh wait one more thing we live on this planet as Robots in Disguise so yeah if you plan to stay you need some wheels." Moonracer said as she looked to the big bot.
"Welcome to Autobot Base Axelon." Elita voiced as she walked in to meet the Wrecker.
"The infamous Elita-1 well at least your no Magnus." Hound said as he was more neutral with Ultra Magnus then someone like Wheeljack. "Preceptor how's the new gig working?" Hound asked as he looked over to where Preceptor was working.
"Quiet, well Hound." Preceptor said as he smiled to his fellow Wrecker.
"What do you have to report from your long journey soldier?" Optimus asked as he looked to the new Autobot.
"Meh bouncing around, meeting friends, and bashing Cons." Hound reported as he then took a drag of his cigar. "But now seems I found both here." Hound said with a laugh as the Commando was no doubt ready to join up with Prime again.
"We are few in numbers, but we are strong in strength. We have suffered loses personal and physical, but we have grown in allies and spirit. And we would be happy to welcome you into the fold, Hound." Elita said as she looked to the Commando before her.
"Heh if you think I'd leave when there are Cons to bash then you better make room." Hound said as he had no intentions to leave so soon.
"Then let's get this party started!" Bulkhead called out as he slammed his hand on Hound's back.
"One question, what's with the decorations?" Hound asked looking over the Christmas decorations in the base.
"You have a lot to learn, buddy." Ironhide said as he knew this might take a while to explain.
(Scene Break Darksyde)
"A New Autobot?" Nightbird asked as she was seen walking through the halls of the Darksyde with Obsidian by her side.
"Yes commander, our systems had detected the new arrival and thus had deployed our troops to intercept... we underestimated our foe." Obsidian said taking responsibility for this loss.
"What do we know about this new arrival?" Nightbird asked as they needed to know who exactly they were dealing with.
"His name is Hound, a Wrecker and a known weapons specialist." Obsidian reported once they got to the main command room before pulling up the data on Hound. "He's known well for fighting off a Decepticon legion by himself before Autobot reinforcements arrived." Obsidian said as Nightbird raised an optic for that.
"Starscream was in charge of that legion, wasn't he?" Nightbird asked taking a jab at the seeker.
"Naturally." Obsidian confirmed as the two then shared a chuckle at Starscream's expense. "But this is cause for concern, a powerful combatant amongst the Autobots might tip the scales in their favor." Obsidian said as Nightbird knew this well enough.
"Project Titan Buster is our best shot to defeat Fortress Maximus but we still need to keep our focus on locating Scorpinok." Nightbird said as the other Titan was needed for the Decepticons to retake the balance of power. "Our Pretender infiltrator is still working on finding the artifact within that magic school of the fleshlings until we get an update from her, focus what you can on Titan Buster." Nightbird said as she looked to Obsidian.
"It shall be done." Obsidian responded before taking his leave to carry out his other duties and get work done on project Titan Buster. Nightbird was left on her own as she began to consider their options. Megatron wants the new weapon finished soon and for a Titan busting weapon they could not afford any mistakes with this. The main problem is getting Fortress Maximus to where they would need him to be. The only way they could do this is if they mounted the weapon on the Nemesis and targeted Maximus from the sky or they built a third base assuming the Darksyde was not in range of the Titan in question. For a Titan killing weapon it would to be large and seeing as they currently lack the resources to make a Spark Extractor, they had to make do with what they had on hand.
(Scene Break Autobot Base Axelon)
"So that just about sums it up." Ironhide said as he finished regaling to Hound what he missed while he was in space.
"Huh I always a good old Con ass kicking." Hound said punching his fist into his open palm.
"Then you've come to the right planet." Chromia said as she was inspecting her rifle.
"So, this here human holiday, seems the special kind." Hound said as he looked upon all of the decorations.
"That it is my friend, it's to promote good will and peace on earth. Dare I say there was even an event during the WWI conflict in which all soldiers had laid down their arms and were simply kind to each other." Preceptor said as he was working on another one of his science experiments.
"Sounds boring." Hound commented causing Preceptor to sigh to this.
"Some things never change I see." He voiced while stirring some liquid in a container.
Just then alarms began to blare causing everyone, Autobot and humans to approach to see the problem. "Exposed Energon the cons are on the move again." Moonracer said as she saw the signal on screen.
"Jeez and here I hoped the Cons had the common decency of good will and peace on Earth." Ironhide grumbled but Hound smirked.
"Then how about we share some of that cheer, Wrecker style." Hound said as he hoisted up his cannon showing that he was armed and ready.
"You will stay put Hound." Elita said as this surprised Hound.
"What?!" Hound asked shocked to hear this.
"While your extensive field experience is to be noted you are still newly arrived to, Earth and on this world we Autobots live as Robots in disguise, you require earth-based vehicle mode in order to maintain the requirements of our stay on this world." Elita said making it clear that Hound needs a vehicle mode first.
"Alright get me some wheels then." Hound said and thus Jetfire approached and patted Hound on the shoulder.
"Don't worry I know a place." Jetfire said assuring that Hound will in fact be getting his wheels. After all he highly doubt that any old jalopy will do for someone like Hound.
"Well then lead the way." Jetfire said and thus with a nod Elita directed her attention to Preceptor.
"Preceptor, activate the ground bridge." Elita said and thus they were all ready to go. Once the Ground Bridge whirled to life the Autobots were ready to depart. "Autobots transform and roll out!" Elita called out and thus with Elita leading the charge, Moonracer, Ironhide, Chromia, and Red Alert all entered the Ground Bridge vortex.
(Later with Elita's Team)
The Autobots soon arrived at the location of the Energon taking hiding positions Elita was observing the scene via a pair of cybertronian binoculars while Chromia was looking through her scope. "Looks like a classic Energon depot must have prepped for pick up." Chromia said as she saw the Energon cubes ready for transport.
Elita meanwhile had a bad feeling about this as they moved back to cover. "I don't like it; this looks to be a trap." Elita said as she sat against the rocks considering their options. "And we still don't know what the Decepticons are doing by downgrading themselves like this." Elita said still suspecting the Cons had some big trump to play down the road.
"Should we move in and take the depot?" Moonracer asked as she looked to her leader.
"With the Decepticons taking more Energon mines with the Nemesis we cannot afford to ignore possible avenues to keep our own reserves stocked." Elita said as this meant that they were going to take the depot and the Energon cubes there. "Ironhide, Moonracer, and Red Alert you three are with me, Chromia you stay back and provide cover fire." Elita ordered as the plan was made. "We'll signal you once the location is secured." Elita said as they intend to hold the location long enough to get as much Energon through the Ground Bridge as possible.
"Yes, Commander." Chromia said and thus they were ready to move out.
(Energon Depot)
A small battalion of Vehicon Troopers were seen patrolling the area of the Depot. Their mission was to defend it until command picked it up and so far, it was boring. But hey sure beats being sent out to be blasted by Autobots or some similar scrap. All was quiet as two Cons were even seen playing a small game to pass the time while they waited for the Nemesis to arrive.
The Depot was a small one as the Vehicons were keeping their eyes peeled for any signs of trouble. As the guards continued their patrol nearby, they were suddenly hit from afar by a familiar sniper. Watching the scene from her scope Chromia smirked as she reloaded her rifle for the next shot. Standing next to her Moonracer raised a brow to this as she then looked over to Red Alert. "You know strangely enough I thought they would start talking about why they were there and then having one of them go off on a speech about the meaning of life before the other clarifies the initial question." Moonracer said as she looked to Red Alert.
"Have you been watching those dumb shows again?" Red Alert asked glaring at Moonracer. "I keep telling you kid, they'll crash your processor." He added causing Moonracer to huff to this.
"But those shows are so fun to watch." Moonracer said with a huff while Chromia took out a few more guards.
"Quiet." Elita scolded the pair and in turn directed her attention to her own binoculars. "It seems clear for now best move fast before the grow suspicious." Elita said before going her next order to her team. "Autobots let move it but keep quiet." Elita said and thus the Autobots began to make their way to the depot keeping an eye out for any unsavory surprises in the way.
(Meanwhile with Jetfire and Hound)
The flier and wrecker pair walked out of the Ground Bridge to an old army storage station. Walking around Hound began to take a look around for a possible vehicle mode to scan. "Well Hound take your pick." Jetfire said as he gestured to the vehicles. "I figured someone like you would want something with a lot of fire power and armor." Jetfire said as Hound smiled to the flier.
"Damn straight." Hound said with his cigar in his mouth. "Now let's find me some wheels." Hound said as he began to look around for a vehicle mode making sure not to crush anything he'd rather leave unharmed. Jetfire stayed close by thankful that their human contacts were able to clear the location out so Hound can get his wheels. It did not take long as Hound found just what he was looking for in terms of a scan.
"Perfect you have military bad ass all over you." Hound said as he stood before a military grade Humvee. From there Hound's eyes flashed and sent forth a beam of light through the vehicle in question scanning its schematics and build so he could mimic it. Once that task was done Hound proceeded to transform into an exact replica of the vehicle with engines roaring and ready to roll.
"Nice." Jetfire praised impressed with the wheels and slightly thankful they did not have to wait hours on end for Hound to pick a scan. "We best head back to base, Elita might call for reinforcements." Jetfire said and in turn Hound returned to robot mode.
"Alright Jetfire." Hound said as he began to walk after Jetfire to call in the Ground Bridge.
(Back at the Depot)
The Autobots arrived at a set of boulders just outside the depot as they looked into it. There they saw several sets of containers and a few guards on duty which did not sit right with them. "I'm counting about maybe a small battalion of Cons here." Moonracer said as the young scout gave a look over on the area.
Elita for her part found this suspicious as this was too lightly guarded even by the standards of a minor depot. "This isn't right." Elita said as she looked to the group. "Why have a depot yet leave it so lightly guarded?" Elita asked as she looked to the scene. "Even for minor depots this is well below the regular Decepticon guards." Elita said and thus Moonracer had an idea.
"Think it's an ambush?" Moonracer asked as she looked to her leader.
"Perhaps but with our Energon stores so low we must risk it." Elita said and thus they proceeded with the plan. "Ironhide do the honors." Elita ordered as Ironhide smirked while holding a grenade.
"With pleasure." Ironhide said and got ready for the next part. In turn the Autobots got ready to storm the depot while Ironhide prepared to throw his grenade into the scene. Once they were set Ironhide threw the grenade and in turn they got moving to action. The explosive went off and thus the Autobots left their hiding spot to start the battle. They charged in firing at whatever Decepticon would get in their way. For their part, the Decepticons returned fire as they went out to fight back and defend the Energon.
Laser fire and explosions could be heard as Autobots clashed against the Vehicon troopers. Of course, the Vehicons were falling left and right as the Autobots moved to where the Energon Singal was strongest. Moving to the location the Autobot team got to the main containers and upon opening them they found Energon crystals ripe for taking and prepped for processing.
"Hell, yeah Energon ahoy!" Moonracer cheered as Ironhide took out a few more guards.
"Alright let's grab them and get out." Elita said to which her team all agreed to.
But before any of them could make a move a Ground Bridged opened up and from it, Obsidian, Thundercracker, and Thunderblast all walked through. Accompanying them were several Vehicons as they all stood there.
"Hello Autobots, glad you had accepted our invitation." Obsidian said as he sinisterly smirked to the Autobots. For their part Elita and her team were surrounded at all sides by the Vehicons.
"Obsidian." Elita growled as she glared at the Decepticon before her before she and her team armed their blasters at the Cons.
"Oh, I would not be too hasty Autobots, your here to test out my newest pet project." Thunderblast said as she held a data pad in her servos.
"A new weapon?" Red Alert asked as he was on alert now.
"Let me show you!" Thunderblast called out and thus she put the commands in. Just then from the Ground Bridge several somethings began to make its way out of the vortex. The Autobots optics all widened as they saw the familiar sight of the Dragons that the Decepticons had stolen. But now the magical reptiles had been changed as clear signs of heavy augmentations were done to them inhumane acts that turned these once powerful creatures into slaves of the Decepticons. As the brood came out the leader roared in fury waiting for the order to start attacking.
"Now then let the games begin!" Thunderblast called out and thus she put the commands in. The Dragons roared out and moved in on the Autobots while the Vehicons opened fire on them. The Dragons moved in and sent out a blast of fire that combined into a powerful inferno at the Autobots.
"Autobots fall back!" Elita called out and in turn the Autobots headed to the nearest area of cover that they could escape too.
Thunderblast smirked and pressed onto her data pad causing the cyborgs to roar and start their attack. They came after the Autobots who fired at the poor mutilated creatures to try and hold them back. One of them even opened their maw and fired off a beam instead of a torrent of flames. This caused the Autobots to jump over a defensive placement and hide behind it taking every few chances to open fire on the enemy. Some of the Dragons took flight and fired down laser shots at the Autobots forcing them to duck and cover.
"Scrap!" Moonracer cursed as she hid deeper in the cover.
Over with the Decepticons Nightbird smirked at the scene before her. "An excellent beta test Thunderblast." Nightbird said as the Decepticon Femme smiled at her commanding officer's praise.
"Of course, I may not like dealing with organics like this, but damn am I good at my job." Thunderblast said showing she and Scalpel were a deadly pair.
Elita stayed in cover as the Autobots tried to hold out in their position. "Elita to base we are pinned down send reinforcements now!" Elita ordered as she called up Preceptor to send in help.
(Autobot Base Axelon)
Jetfire and Hound had just returned when they heard the call. "I repeat we're pinned down and are in need of reinforcements!" Elita repeated her order as Jetfire heard this.
"The Autobots are in danger!" Jetfire said with a tone of determination in his voice.
"Let's roll!" Hound called out as Preceptor understood.
"Very well activating the Ground Bridge!" Preceptor called out while putting the commands and coordinates in for the Ground Bridge. The ground bridge then activated and from it the two Autobots charged in.

The Ground Bridge Vortex opened up and from it Hound jumped out with Jetfire charging out. Once Hound rolled in, he had his minigun out and proceeded to open fire on them. Hound began to laugh as he fired on the cyborg dragons coming his way. Jetfire provided cover fire as he went for the beasts' wings. "Come on cry some more!" Hound laughed as he kept the firepower on the enemy.
The Autobots proceeded to make move from their cover once Jetfire and Hound joined the fight. "About time!" Moonracer called out as she looked to Hound.
"Hey, you try finding a badass set of wheels." Hound said and thus he holstered his big gun and took out a pair of handguns which he then fired hitting the cyber dragons. One of them was hit in a particular bit of its cybernetics causing it to roar in pain and start to lash out in agony. It then fell down dead with leaking Energon and blood pooling on the ground.
Elita saw this and thus she connected the dots. "Of course!" She cried out and thus had her next order. "Autobots aim for the Cyber controls its where they are vulnerable!" Elita ordered and thus they proceeded as ordered causing Thunderblast to get worried.
One by one the Autobots took down the cybernetically enhanced dragons and just as Elita had saw they each suffered for the fatal shots the Autobots delivered to them. Thundercracker saw this and prepared to rejoin the fight by reaching for his sword. But just then Jetfire transformed and fired down upon the Decepticons with Thunderblast yelping in fear before jumping behind Obsidian for a shield. Thundercracker acted fast and drew his own shield to protect them with. Unfortunately, several Vehicon troopers were not so lucky in this case.
"Blast!" Obsidian cursed as Thunderblasts creations were being taken out one after the other.
"A tactical retreat is in order." Thundercracker said as he kept his shield up.
"Agreed." Obsidian said and thus he made the call. "This Commander Obsidian requesting an emergency Ground Bridge at my coordinates!" Obsidian called and thus they had to wait.
The Autobots began to move in once the Cyber dragons were taken care of hounding in on the Decepticons in this battle. Just then the Ground Bridge opened for them and thus Thunderblast was the first to charge in. Obsidian and Thundercracker fired upon the Autobots as they moved towards their Ground Bridge. They then jumped in just as Jetfire released a salvo of rockets at the Cons. The Ground Bridge closed and in turn the Decepticons left leaving only a crater from Jetfire's attack.
Landing on the ground Jetfire transformed as the Autobots proceeded to regroup with each other. "They got away." Moonracer said but Elita walked over to the poor creatures the Decepticons had augmented.
"Perhaps but we can study these creatures to see what the Decepticons had done to them." Elita said before looking to Ironhide and Hound.
"Why is she looking at us?" Ironhide asked and thus it was clear as to why.
(Later back on the Axelon Base)
"Easy, easy does it." Preceptor said as Ironhide, and Hound carried in the corpses of the Cyber Dragons and brought it to Preceptor's lab.
"Those poor creatures." Hermione gasped when she saw how the Decepticons had brutalized them into weapons of war.
"That's the Decepticons for you, kiddo." Ironhide said after dropping off the last creature in the lab. "Hopefully, we can find out more about them from their remains." Ironhide said before Preceptor spoke up.
"First I will need to perform an in-depth autopsy to learn what sort of systems had been used and what augmentations had been utilized as well as where the flesh begins and the cybernetics end." Preceptor said as he was putting a few of the creatures on ice to preserve the remains.
"Bloody hell even the Death Eaters wouldn't do this sort of crime against nature." Sirius said which Remus nodded in agreement.
"Clear the lab I'll need the environment to be sterile." Preceptor said and thus everyone proceeded to leave the lab. Harry could not help but grow worried as he feared what the Decepticons may be planning.
(Back at the Darksyde Base)
"Well despite today's failure I'd say we made some breakthroughs." Thunderblast said as she held up what appeared to be a microchip with the Decepticons insignia on it. "We now know my technology works." She said before placing the chip with the others.
"Yet it's proven to be unstable Thunderblast." Nightbird growled apparently upset over her troop's failure.
"Yes, the dragons while powerful lack any sentience or forward thinking they're all about primal instinct." Thunderblast said and thus she pulled out data from the worldwide web. "Thankfully, the Magical World has provided us several other subject that should suit our needs." Thunderblast said and thus they two femmes smirked when they saw several mythological giants on the web suggesting that they now had targets to go after.
