While on their way back to Viridian and the other's desides to take a break in nearby park
Ash was flying on Aerodactyl, Raichu and Togepi were riding on Tauros's back, Butterfree was hovering over the baby pokemon worried about his safety, Wartortle and Misty's other pokemon were having fun in a fountain accept for Psyduck apparently he can't swim, But Misty's Horsea looks ill as it swims in a fountain.
"Hey Horsea is something wrong?" Misty asks concerned
"Sea horsea sea" said Horsea in a dull tone
"I think he needs a bigger water body" Brock said from behind her
"Eeep!" Misty screeched and jumped "Don't do that again"
Ash noticed the camotion and gestured Aerodactyl to land, he landed went near them.
"So~ what's going on" Ash asked
"Horsea primarily lives in ocean and they don't stay near land much until they evolve, and Misty's Horses is having the same problem, he needs more water atleast until he evolves" Brock replies
"Then why can't you leave him in Cerulean gym them?, I thought there was a aquarium in there?" Ash questioned
After some thought and looking at Horsea she made her desison, and so, the gang decides to head for Misty's home town, Cerulean City. When they get there, they discover that Misty's sisters at the Cerulean Gym are having trouble attracting crowds to their performances and have advertised Misty to be in a new performance called the Underwater Ballet. Misty is reluctant to be a part of this at first and shocked to learn that the first performance is tomorrow. She finally agrees after a lot of begging from her sisters alongside Ash and Brock's encouragement. They then celebrate after convincing their little sister to do what they want, much to Misty's frustration.
The sisters soon begin rehearsing as Violet, the scriptwriter, reads it out. Misty remains disinterested and nervous, though her sisters actively act out the scenes including the sword fights. Meanwhile, Team Rocket is in front of the Cerulean Gym when they notice the Underwater Ballet show poster. James is immediately interested and notes that he used to learn dance, though Jessie and Meowth have different motives. The trio decides to infiltrate the show to steal all of the Water-type Pokémon.
On the day of the performance, a large crowd fills the whole Gym, eager to see the show. Ash and Brock are sitting among the audience, and Ash is excited to see Misty, though she is nervous after seeing the size of the crowd. After an introductory announcement, the lights dim and the Gym's pool rises close to the ceiling. The show starts smoothly with Misty swimming with the water Pokémon. While Lily and Violet, in costume, are watching, Team Rocket attacks them and takes their costumes. Daisy, who had been taking tickets, hears her cue on the pre-recorded voice-over and goes to change. As the antagonists of the show appear, Ash and Brock quickly realize that Team Rocket has gate-crashed the show and leave their seats to address the situation. Jessie and James insert breathing devices into their mouths before diving into the pool. Misty emerges from a clam shell to see Team Rocket swimming towards her. They perform their motto underwater and are thrilled by the crowd's applause.
Meowth, waiting on a diving board, presses a button, and the Meowth Balloon crashes through the ceiling. Meowth then releases a net, which ensnares several Goldeen. Misty and Team Rocket tussle over the Pokémon. Meanwhile, Daisy has since changed into her costume and is about to enter the stage when Ash and Brock appear. They quickly inform her of Team Rocket's arrival and hand her Togepi before diving in to help Misty. Confused at this, Daisy hears banging on a nearby locker, and finds Lily and Violet bound and gagged. An underwater battle commences between Misty and Ash's Water Pokémon against Jessie's Arbok. Horsea's Bubble is swatted way by Arbok's tail, and it then disappears in a Smokescreen. When the black cloud clears, a Seaking attacks Arbok with its horn. Misty then orders Seaking to use Horn Drill, which hits Arbok multiple times.
The battle continues, but the audience is still convinced that it is all part of the show and are practically enjoying it. Violet attempts to help and summons Misty's Psyduck, though they are shocked to learn that it hates water. Although Weezing floats to the surface, unable to breathe underwater, Arbok dominates its opponents and rounds them up, hoping to finish them off. Just then, Seel intervenes, quickly encircling Arbok. At Misty's command, it follows up with several Headbutts. Misty's sisters are impressed by Seel's battling, admitting they never thought about using it. After delivering a successful Aurora Beam, Seel begins spinning and evolves into Dewgong. Arbok advances again, though Dewgong sends it flying into Jessie and James before freezing them with its Ice Beam. After Misty and Brock bring the Water Pokémon to a rock, Raichu electrocutes the water, sending Jessie, James, and Arbok upwards. They hit Meowth and the balloon, sending them all blasting off once more. The crowd goes wild, having enjoyed the show. Because of this, the Cerulean Gym shows are popular again, with months worth of bookings set up.
Before departing, Misty decides to leave Horsea at the Gym after Brock reminds her of Horsea's condition, and her sisters also borrow her Starmie. They also want Togepi and Raichu as well, but Misty and Ash refuse to hand them over. Misty then offers to let them have Psyduck, which the sisters say they aren't that desperate for. Later, Ash and his friends bid farewell to the Sensational Sisters to continue their journey. As they leave Cerulean City, Ash compliments Misty's performance.
Ash and his friends were finally here after getting sidetracked so many times they were finally in Veridian city
"Let's get to the gym now!" Ash exclaimed, excited to earn his last badge
"Stop" said Brock while stopping Ash from going forward "Frist the centre then then the gym"
"Hey wasn't the pokemon centre was distroid."Misty stated
"It looks fine to me." Brock stated as they came near the centre
"Can't believe it's been 8 months already" Ash said while looking at the formerly distroid pokemon centre, with his hands behind his back
"And the league is under 4 months, and you still have just 7 badges. normally trainers earn their 8 badges in under 6 months and then go for the other badges" Misty stated
Ash sweat dropped at that
"Well most of those trainers never even come close to the original 8 and go for the minor gyms" Brock stated
And Ash perked up at that
"Still i can believe they rebuild it so fast" Ash commented in awe
In side the pokemon centre
After healing their pokemon, they saw a very familiar face
"Gary what are you doing here" Misty asked
Gary didn't even noticed her
"Misty he'll be fine, i need to get to that Earth badge" Ash and Raichu hured out of the pokemon centre Brock and Misty reluctantly following them
inside the veridian gym
Outside of the gym was weird enough, but the weird part was Team Rocket were the gym leaders, and Ash is going to fight them for the gym badge, on some sort of platform where if your pokemon take damage you do you.
Togepi was with Raichu in his psychic hold floating around like he was flying
On the battlefield
"Go Machamp show the twerp the might of Team Rocket!" Jessie exclaimed and let out (not her) Superpower pokemon
"Machamp hah~, Butterfree i choose you" Ash released his butterfly pokemon
"Rock tomb"

Machamp used Rock tomb but Butterfree used Confusion use his move on himself
"Machamp get close Close combat"
"PSS shield and Dream eater"
Machamp punched then multi coloured sheild got poisoned then paralyzed and fell asleep. And Butterfree started eating the Superpower pokemon's Dreams and life energy within moments then forearmed pokemon lay unconscious
"Err~ Rhydon go" Jessie sends out (again not) her Drill pokemon
Ash recalled Butterfree, and switch his pokemon with Rhyhorn's pokeball, by using his pokedex
"Let's see whose better Rhyhorn i choose you" Ash sends out his not soon to be horn pokemon
"Rhydon Horn attack"
"Let it come closer" Rhyhorn was a bit confused but trusting his trainer's judgement he did just that
"Now duck your head down and Megahorn" Rhyhorn smirked. Rhydon due to it's momentum, was not able to stop in time and was thrown in the air. Gravity did it's job, and Rhydon fell horn first that was not enough to knock it out though, and it wobbly stood up
Meanwhile, Raichu noticed that Jessie was not feeling any pain when she should have. He and Togepi deside to investigate, Raichu levitated himself and Togepi, they flew over Meowth he was holding the remote for the pain. Carefully observing them remote, Raichu created a substitute of the remote and using Psychic switched the remotes, and levitated back, Raichu turned Ash's counter to zero and Jessie to max and he and Togepi laughed evilly as if using Nasty plot

Again the drill pokemon charged forward in hopes of drilling into it's pre-evolution, still was unable to before it could even get close, the Quadrupedal drill pokemon lounched five big rocks back to back, and all five rocks impacted with his chest and the bipedal fell unconscious.
"AAAHA~ FUCK YOU MEOWTH I THOUGHT YOU'VE TURNED OFF THE ELECTRICITY IN MY PLATFORM" As a strong bolt of lightning wracked Jessie's body
Meowth was clicking buttons all over the fake remove "I-i think this thing's broken"
"Oh Fuck off Meowth i forfit take the badge and the TM" Jessie cried
On the other side Raichu and Togepi were laughing historically
Ash took the said things from James
"Let's go home now." Ash said as he picked Togepi up in his arms
"So to Pallet then." Brock stated
"Shouldn't we report them or something?" Misty asked
"We can't prove anything, they had the approval of the gym leader...some how and that not illegal." Brock stated
After healing their pokemon
"Come on you guys" Ash said and took off in the direction his home town, Raichu surfing on his tail
While near route 1 a the Spearow who is now a Fearow and it's flock suddenly started attacking them
"Can't we just talk it out" Ash said and a Spearow pecked him
"FEAROW~" it Screeched
"You wanna play it hard then..." Ash plucked one of his pokemon "The hard you'll get Aerodactyl I choose you" Ash released his Aerodactyl and quickly rode on her back, as the Fearow took off
"Last time i failed to capture you, but i promise you that will not happen this time." Ash promised
"Aerodactyl Giga impact" Ash latched tightly on to Aerodactyl's back as she used the one of the most powerful move
Aerodactyl cover herself in purple Aura with orange streekes, just on hit was enough knock it out, one capture later
As Ash and his friends near Pallet Town, Ash leaves Delia a message prior to their arrival. As he runs towards home, he suddenly crashes into an invisible wall created by a Mr. Mime, which is now climbing it. Just then, a girl named Stella, who is a circus Ring Master, shows up to try to catch the Mr. Mime. Ash protests that he was going to catch it, but Brock holds him back because he thinks Stella is beautiful. The commotion allows the Mr. Mime to get away.
Stella brings the group to the circus, where she has her Pokémon perform tricks for the show. The star of the show is her own Mr. Mime, but it will no longer perform because of her harsh training methods. Indeed, the group finds it lying around lazily and eating snacks. Brock tells Stella that he will get a Mr. Mime for her. When Ash is confused as to how Brock would catch the Mr. Mime, Brock tells him that someone should dress up as Mr. Mime and perform in the circus with the hopes that Stella's Mr. Mime will see this and get jealous. They hope it will lead to Mr. Mime wanting to perform in the circus once again.
At the same time, Jessie, James, and Meowth arrive at the Team Rocket HQ. Their boss chastises them for the incident at the Viridian Gym, but they hastily apologize and get away. As they sit in their balloon thinking of a way to get rare Pokémon, a flyer for the Pokémon Circus flies by. They pick it up and hatch a new plan.
Brock's plan is revealed to be dressing Ash up as Mr. Mime. Stella pulls out her whip and puts Ash into training before the show, during which he realizes that her training is indeed very harsh, and empathizes with Stella's Mr. Mime. Eventually, the circus show begins and Ash, in the Mr. Mime costume, comes out for the entry parade and waves to the crowd, including his own mother. Suddenly, the lights go off and Team Rocket arrives. After performing their motto, they capture Ash with a net and leave, believing he is a Mr. Mime. Delia enters the ring, confronts Brock and Misty, and asks if Ash was in the Mr. Mime costume. Though they confirm it, she optimistically responds that Ash will be released once Team Rocket realizes that he isn't the Mr. Mime they were after. Delia invites them over to her house in the meantime.
In a wood cabin, Team Rocket sits around a meal and talks about how they are going to present their catch to the boss. Meanwhile, Ash unties and unmasks himself, horrifying and infuriating Team Rocket. He escapes and steals Team Rocket's Meowth balloon, further enraging the trio. Meanwhile, Delia waves Brock, Misty, and Stella goodbye after having lunch. Just as they are leaving, the wild Mr. Mime from before comes knocking on her window. Delia mistakes it for Ash and allows him in for a snack. The real Ash arrives in the Meowth balloon, causing Delia to realize that her visitor was a real Mr. Mime. Delia asks Mr. Mime to help Ash, offering him a big dessert if it does, and it agrees.
Later, Team Rocket bursts out with a rubber tank, trapping the circus employees and Pokémon with nets. Stella and her Mr. Mime try to escape, but Team Rocket turns around and hones in on them. As they are about capture them too, Ash intervenes, ordering Raichu to use Thunderbolt on the tank, but it has no effect due to Team Rocket's use of rubber. Delia tells her Mr. Mime to help, and it builds a wall to block the trio. Stella's Mr. Mime sees this and, when the tank turns around, builds another wall to block them from the other side. The two Mr. Mimes eventually surround Team Rocket with a tower of walls. The trio tries to blow the walls out with their missiles, but end up blasting themselves off again.
Ash and his friends return to his house for dinner, prepared by the wild Mr. Mime, now nicknamed Mimey, who has decided to stay with Delia and become a helping hand around the house. Stella agrees to give up her harsh training. In return, her Mr. Mime forgives her and agrees to perform in the circus again.
