#In the Academy Forest District#*Renzo's POV*

I was walking down a forest trail I found the other day. A few Coal Tars were flying around, when they saw me they came towards me. "Renzo's back!" They said as they flew towards me. I don't know how, but a month ago I started to be able to understand just about every type of lower-class demon that lives here at True Cross Academy. I just pretend not to when I'm around the others. "It's nice to see you again, Kage, Hatsuki, Yuyami." I said to the three demons as I petted them. I then felt something, or someone, further up the path. *Hisssssssssss* I looked over at Q, who was ready to protect me. I then continued to walk up the path.'Good thing I brought one of my spell books with me.' I thought as I brought out my new fire spell book.

About half an hour later I felt someone watching me. "Who's there?! Show yourself!" I yelled. I was about to leave when someone attacked me from behind, I was almost knocked to the ground. Before they could go back into the shadows I was able to pin them. 'That's what you get for messing with me. And I didn't even need to use a spell!' I thought before the stranger spoke. "Let me go you moon blasted...!" I then looked at the person I had pinned down and saw it was a girl my age. "AH! I'm sorry!" I said as I got off her. I then saw she had long silvery-white hair with matching dragon wings, horns, and tail. But what was most stunning was her arctic blue eyes. 'She was the person from this morning. The one I saw watching me, Bon, and Koneko!' I realized as she got up.

"Hey. You're the scavenger I saw this morning!" She said to me as she got up. 'Scavenger?' I thought, confused. "My name is Renzo Shima." I introduced myself. I then waited for her to tell me her name. "I am Princess Icicle of the IceWings." She said before she looked away with a hump. "It's a pleasure to meet you." I said while bowing down to her. She looked surprised as I did. As I stood up I realized how beautiful she is, I guess I shouldn't since she's a princess. "I didn't realize a scavenger like yourself had such manners. It's surprising I must say." Icicle said and I don't know if I should take it as an insult or a compliment.

I then told her that further up the path is a place with a few stumps we can sit on while we talk. The two of us then started walking up the path, with Q at my heels, until we arrived at a clearing with a few tree stumps here and there. "Okay, this is nice." Icicle said as she looked around. She then tripped on an exposed root, thankfully I was able to catch her before she fell to the ground. As soon as I made contact with her, an image of me and Icicle, without her dragon features, in fancy clothes were dancing together. As soon as it appeared, the vision(?)vanished.

'What was that?' I thought as I shook it off. "Do you mind letting me go?" I then realized the position the two of us were in. "Sorry." I said as the two of us separated, with me blushing in embarrassment. "Why is your face red?" Icicle asked me. 'She doesn't know anything about humans.' I thought as I stepped to Icicle's side. "Icicle, would you like me to teach you about the human race?" I asked the white haired girl.
