After we have afternoon tea, it is close to dinner . Alan says that he will bring me to a special cafe for our first official date . I dress up nicely like at his birthday party. I sit in front of mirror and do my make up. Alan kisses my shoulder
"You are already so pretty." Alan brushes my face." No more beautiful than this please ."
"Alan, this is our official date. I still have one hour to do the make up." I smile at him." Oh I forget to have a shower ."I bite my lips." I really need to think about it."
"I bought this new perfume for you. " Alan gives it to me ." Amity made it and has not sale it yet . " Alan says
I smell it . It is like a rose and grass flavour . I put some on my wrist and back of the ear
"It is good . Thank you Alan ." I kiss him
"You like it , then I will ask for more after you finished it." Alan shakes his head." I want you to be happy."
After everything are ready, Alan and I leave the room. He holds my hand and we walk toward the cafe . We enter the restaurant.
"I reserved for two people." Alan talks to the server
"Here please." Server leads us to the balcony.
We sit down . We are alone and it is so pretty that I can see all the landscape here . I can see that people are walking below us and we are surrounded with flower and music .
"Mr Davis already ordered the food and drink. So romantic ." Server laughs
"He is always this romantic ." I rest my head on his shoulder
Sever brings two cups a bottle of wine . They pour for both of us.
"Cheer Delia ." Alan cheers with me
I take a sip. It is a little bitter and sour but I love it.
"It tastes good." I put down the cup.
"I love you so much my princess." Alan kisses my hand
"I love you too." I say.
When the foods are serve , then we are eating. I realize today is my sister's birthday.
"Today is beatrice 's birthday." I am surprised." I forgot."
"I invited them already."'Alan giggles." Your parent are not coming but your two sisters are ."
I hear giggling sound . Beatrice and Maria are here
"Sister!" Beatrice hugs me ." I am happy that you still thinking about us ."
"Of course , I love you guys so much ." I sigh." Thanks Alan."
"I am their brother in law . It's my obligation." Alan invites them to sit down." After dinner we can drive them back . I talked to max already."
Max is open minded now because of Evelyn. Ted now is also here
"Hey Maria and beatrice ." He smiles at them
"We don't like you. Alan is our only brother in law ." Maria stands away.
"Why ? We are also friends." Ted is disappointed now
Alan stands between us and ted . Ted clinches his teeth.
"Our sister only love mr Davis . We all know it including you. We don't want you to destroy their relationship." Maria hissed
"Don't worry, Maria . No one can separate us ." Alan nods at them.
"However we just don't like him." Beatrice sits down
I don't want him to destroy the surprised for tonight.
"Ted please go now . You said that you will listen to me right? I ask you to leave . Today is beatrice's birthday." I say
"Yeah sure , Delia don't regret." Ted screams
He slams the door and leaves . Now server brings the cake to us.
"Happy birthday to you beatrice ." We start to sing the song." Make a wish "
Beatrice starts to make a wish. I look at her expectantly.
She blows the candle and we clap for her .
"This is my first time celebrate birthday." Beatrice is happy.
"Every year you can celebrate it. You can't celebrate in abnegation but you can come here ." Alan says
"Really? You are really nice ." Maria jumps upside down
We start eating. Alan grabs my hand .
"My only wish is that I can marry with your sister ." Alan kisses my hand
"Of course you can Alan. However I already told you." I say
"I know . I just saying that I need their approval ." Alan nods at me
Beatrice nods at him. They all like him and I know it.
"We also like you since the first day that you are at our house . Even we were all small. I mean that kind of like." Beatrice explains
"I know that don't feel nervous . I am not that selfish." I giggle
"I wish that you are so selfish that no one can bully you." Alan wraps me in his arm
After dinner, I and Alan sit into the car and drive them back home
"It is so pretty to see the sun set." I am shocked
"I can bring you somewhere with sisters if you want, then we can see the sunset together ."Alan takes out a bracelet." A gift for you. And this one for beatrice and Maria ."
"That is so expensive Alan. I can't take it." I wave at him
Alan holds my wrist and puts the bracelet on.
"You should have it. You are my loved one ." Alan kisses my hand ." So pretty. Beatrice your gift will deliver tomorrow ."
"Thanks mr Davis ." Beatrice looks at the bracelet." Sister's one is so different compared to us ."
"Your sister has the most special one . Only one in the whole world." Alan says
I look at the bracelet . I recall the memory. When I was small, our mom brought us to the mall and I saw the bracelet . Sever told me that this bracelet is a unique design and it worth tons of million dollars and this is the only one in the world.
"Did you bought it from the mall?" I frown
"Yes , what happens?" Alan is nervous
"I saw this when I was young with mom. That was so expensive ." I touch it.
"As long as you love it, that is worth ." Alan says
We get to top of a mountain. The sun is settling down .
"I wish that I will love you forever and can love you forever ." I cross my fingers and make a wish
"Of course you can and you must will. I will not allow you broke up with me ." Alan clinches his teeth." I said that before . I never allow you to broke up with me ."
"I know alan ." I try to comfort him
The day past so fast. We have to get into our simulation now . I have my ring and bracelet with me because I worry that someone will take them away.
Today is not fear landscape but we have to get into the system they designed for us . I don't know how good I can do that. I breath heavily.
"Zeke and Jessica ." Alan is calling two names at a time .
"Don't be nervous .it will be fine ." Elizabeth holds my hand
"Thanks Elizabeth." I rest my head on her shoulder
Abby is angry now . Linda is my friend and she has no team mate . Mary is out of dauntless already.
"Fake ." Abby smirks." Without Alan Davis protected her , will you still be her friend?"
"Of course , we knew each other in the train and I didn't know that she knew Alan Davis before she came to dauntless ." Elizabeth lifts her chin." Even she hasn't . I will still be her friend ."
Now Amar comes out of the room. He claps his hand
"Delia, Abby and Eric ."
I and Abby walk into room. Eric is following us .
"So sit down please ." Amar says
I sit down on the first recline chair and Abby sits down beside mine . Eric is beside Abby as well.
"Good luck. The only way that you can wake up is trying to face the simulation directly." Amar says
We exhale and inhale heavily. Amar injects us with serum again and we passed out .
I wake up in the middle of the ocean. Oh my god! Even I am not scared of the ocean it self but I can't swim. That reminds me something. If I am not scared of the ocean, then why am I here
"The only way that you can come out is to directly face the simulation."
The simulation is like an obstacle . I have to pass down in order to wake up. The way I can do it to relax and let the ocean consume me . It isn't real though so I don't need to worry. I relax and let the water to consume me .
I sink deeper and deeper . Everything disappear and now I am above the chasm. Linda is standing with Alan
"I love him still. I was lying." Linda smirks at me
She grabs Alan's face and kisses him. Alan is kissing him as well.
"Alan !" I shout
Then I see a gun in front of me . I don't know what I should do now . It isn't real.
I have to remind myself that it isn't real. I hold up the gun and aim at them. I pull the bullets into the chamber . I kill them
I wake up and Amar looks at me shockingly.
"Come out with me for a second ." Amar looks around
Abby and Eric aren't awake yet . He drags me out of the room
"You manipulate the whole system. What was your test result Delia." Amar is worried
"Why you worried about me ? You should worry about Abby's . She is also divergent."I sigh
"You are shutting down the system. I will delete the footage and next time , I need you to stay there longer . I am doing a flavour for Alan." Amar screams." They will kill you. Jason can't protect you any longer . He is dead ."
Jason is dead . So now it is jeanine matthew who is in place
"I know that Amar . Thank you but you really need to go help Abby not me ." I shake my head
"Fine ." Amar says
