Hiccup stared at the moon.
It had just passed its apex meaning it was about midnight.
He had been working in the forge for Thor knows long know. He had been considering going home, because the last few times he had stayed here this long, he had a furious Astrid to deal with. But then again, he did have to finish his work, or he would have a mildly annoyed Gobber.Between them, Hiccup would rather have an angry Astrid, because it was always a lot sadder when Gobber was annoyed with him, mostly because he was him as a sort of father figure.
With that he continued hammering, knowing he was probably going to be hammered himself when he came home. Well, if Astrid didn't come here to hammer him, then he wouldn't make it home.
Astrid was upset.
Not the sad type, the angry type, and her anger was aimed at one person in particular.
This was the fifth time this week that he had stayed out past 12.
She was not happy about it.
So Astrid stormed out of the front door and her into the night.
When entered the forge, she watched as he looked up from his work and his face fell, knowing he was done for.
"Hiccup," she growled,"you are coming back right now."
Hiccup began to stutter.
"A-A-Astrid, y-you don't understand, I have some stuff to-"
"I'm don't wanna here it!".
And with that, Astrid picked him up, slung him over her shoulder and carried him home.
It was when she slammed the door and locked it Hiccup knew he was screwed.
