Dib woke up to the sound of a blaring alarm. Louder than the alarm on his phone or a car alarm. It was almost…alien.
Dib practically jumped up, barely having time to process the sound, which he realized was coming from the garage.
As quietly, but quickly as possible, Dib made his way to the garage and opened the door, where he found the source of the noise: Tak's ship was going crazy.
The ship somehow realized Dib was there and stopped the alarm, but it was quickly replaced by screaming.
"HUMAN! I HAVE DETECTED THE LOCATION OF MY TRUE OWNER!"
"Shh!" Dib exclaimed, his hands clasped over his ears and his eyes shut tight. "Keep it down!" he whispered harshly. "You're gonna wake up-"
Before he could finish his sentence, a figure approached him from behind.
"Dib… how many times do I have to tell you to NEVER WAKE ME UP!!" Gaz yelled.
"Gaz! I swear it wasn't me this time it was-" Dib started to explain but was quickly cut off by Tak's ship.
"You! Female human! I like you more! Will you be willing to take me to my rightful owner?"
Gaz just gave the ship a squinty-eyed stare. "What?"
"My owner!" the ship continued. "I've discovered she's still alive in Moop-ing 10! We have to rescue her!"
"Hold on," Dib said. "You mean the real Tak!? No way! I'm not dealing with TWO aliens trying to destroy Earth again!"
Gaz raised an eyebrow. "I thought you liked Tak," she said with a smirk.
Dib's face turned red. "NO! I- that was- that was before I knew she was an alien! I could never like an alien."
Gaz rolled her eyes. "Okay. Say we help you. What's in it for us?" she asked the ship.
Tak's ship sighed, or at least it seemed like a sigh. "If you don't I'll destroy you."
Gaz opened one eye and growled. "Fine. But if we rescue Tak she has to promise not to kill us or annoy us or anything."
"Yeah!" Dib added.
"Hmm, oh alright." The ship agreed. "I doubt she'd want to bother with this dirt ball anyway."
"We're gonna need help though." Gaz said. "We need someone who knows their way around Moop-ing 10 and would know how to disarm the security so we don't get caught like last time." She glanced at Dib and his eyes went wide.
"No! Absolutely not!" he protested.
"Look I don't like him either but he might be our only chance at succeeding at this." Gaz said.
Dib groaned. "But do I have to be the one to get him?"
"Well I'm staying to get the ship ready and figure out a route."
"What!?" Dib exclaimed. "No way! I know my way around it better!"
"You really don't." Tak's Ship said. "Plus I like the girl human better."
Dib growled and stormed off towards Zim's house.
