The next time Craig and Tweek saw each other that day was at lunch. They saw each other from opposite sides of the room and met at a table in the middle where the rest of their friends were.

"How was your day so far?" Craig asked.

Tweek shrugged. "Okay I guess. Not as bad as I thought. But the teachers won't let me have coffee in the classroom!"

"Well, of course not. It's a distraction and attracts ants."

"But I NEED it!!" Tweek yelled, grabbing Craig by the shirt collar.

Craig calmly removed Tweek's hands from his shirt and gently put his own on Tweek's shoulder to try and steady him. "Okay, why do you think you need it?"

Tweek stared at him as if he just told him the earth was flat. "I just told you this morning Craig! It helps with my adhd and anxiety! And this new school is making it worse so I need it now more than ever!"

"But, that obviously isn't true." Craig said in the calmest tone he could manage. "From what I've been seeing all day it's just been making things worse."

Tweek thought about this for a second before Craig continued.

"Here, let's just try not having any more coffee today and see if that helps." He then gently took the thermos from his shaking boyfriend.

"I'll keep this safe in my backpack and you're gonna stop relying on it when your parents aren't around, okay?"

Tweek trusted Craig of course, but Craig could see he was starting to panic. He quickly looked around to make sure nobody was watching them and then planted a quick soft kiss on Tweek's forehead.

"It's gonna be okay" he whispered. "It looks like we have our next class together so why don't I walk you there?"

Tweek nodded and took his boyfriends hand.

The rest of the day seemed to go smoothly. Craig and Tweek had two of their afternoon classes together and met each other after school to walk home.

It was a Friday, so Craig asked his parents if Tweek could spend the night, to which they happily accepted. He didn't tell them the real reason he wanted Tweek to stay with him: because he didn't trust him to be around his parents right now.

They tried helping each other with homework and played some video games until it was time for dinner.

"Tweek, hon, aren't you gonna eat your dinner?" Laura asked with a slightly concerned tone. "Surely you must be hungry after your first day of middle school?"

Tweek just stared at his plate and lazily stirred his mashed potatoes.

"Meh, not hungry. Just want coffee."

Craig gave his boyfriend and irritated but concerned look. "I'm trying to get him to quit drinking so much coffee" he explained to his parents. "I guess I never realized how heavily he relied on it."

"I think you're doing the right thing son" Thomas said. "A kid his age should rely so much on caffeine"

Tweek just continued playing with his food like he didn't even hear them.

"Well if you two just want to head to bed that's perfectly fine." Laura said. "And if Tweek ever decides he's hungry, he's more than welcome to come back down and finish his dinner"

Craig turned to look at his boyfriend, who he could tell was getting tired. "You wanna just go to bed?" he asked him, to which Tweek nodded and shakily stood up.

"Leave the door open!" Tricia called back to them to which Craig just shot her a middle finger, not even bothering to look at her.
