The after party went as expected. Bob and Jimmy Pesto drunkingly glaring at each other, Tammy and Jocelyn fighting over the bouquet but it was eventually Gene who caught it, and Tina and Jimmy Jr dancing in the middle of it all. Jimmy Jr, of course had to show off his dance moves.
Linda noticed Louise just standing alone by the refreshments. She looked worried.
"Louise honey what's wrong?" Linda asked her.
"I'm just..worried about the future I guess" Louise answered. "When I was a kid I said something to dad that kinda implied I would take over the restaurant when I'm older. Now that I'm an adult I feel pressured to commit to that role but I'm not sure if I'm ready, or if I'll ever be ready!"
Linda put a hand on her daughters shoulder. "Do you want to take over the family business?"
Louise tugged on her hat in frustration. "I dunno! Maybe!? Auughh it's so confusing!"
"Louise listen" Linda said. "You're barely in your 20's and dad's not retiring anytime soon. You got all the time in the world to figure it out."
At that Louise just looked up at her mom teary-eyed and gave her a hug. "Thanks mom"
"Any time sweetie. Now come on, let's go congratulate your sister on her big day!"
