"Hi Mr. Shadow! I didn't expect you to be here!" Said Cream as she went closer to the dark hedgehog who's sitting on a cliff of a forest.
"How are you doing, Mr. Shadow?" Asked Cream and sat next to him, just not really close to the end of the cliff
"I'm.. Doing okay, Cream." Answered Shadow, watching the sun set down.
"The sun really looks like..her." She commented while the bunny held Cheese in her arms.
"You Know about Maria?" He asked in a demanding tone, somehow knowing who she's talking about.
"N-not really, Mr. Shadow! I just.. Heard about her..I kind of know what she looked like..Sorry Mr Shadow!" Cream immediately said with a nervous look.
Shadow looked down in response.
"But.. I heard she's pretty! And kind!" She said, hoping to brighten his mood.
"Was."
An unexpected response came from Shadow.
"..You're not the only one..who had someone di- gone..." The hedgehog was surprised by the change of word. "My dad..Left.. I forgot when I had even interacted with him.." Cream said while Cheese gave a sad look at her.
"But My mom is still there for me! Just like everyone who's been there for you Mr. Shadow!"
"..What?"
"Mr. Sonic has been there for you! Well.. it's really more about rivalry.. But you guys help each other and make up! And your part of team Dark Mr. Shadow!"
"I don't like that lustful bat."
"But She's still helpful for the team! Mr. Shadow, there will be someone who's (sometimes/always) there for you!"
Cream said, with her Chao agreeing.
"Even if there's no one there for you, you have to keep going Mr. Shadow!"
Shadow nodded and looked back at the setting sun and had a small smile on his muzzle.
