Summery: Tail's unconsciously makes his tails puff up when scared or threatened, But Sonic's here to help.
It was storming night today, that means Sonic had to go beside Tails to help calm down incase of thunder.
A thunder flashed through the window making Tails wake up with his tails fluffing up. Sonic quickly took action and patted his back.
"You okay bud?" He asked the kitsune as he brushes his tails to not only fix it, but also calming him down. Tails nodded turning half-asleep and laid down back to his bed,
Sonic continues to brush his tails and puts a blanket on him.

The badniks were strangely stronger than before, Sonic took a longer time destroying half of them while Tails was having a hard time.
A large badnik was behind him and grabbed him, making The kitsune hissed and his tails fluffing up as he tried to escape the painful grasp.
Tails to attack with his tails still fluffing up more.
He then gladly escapes the grasp and tries to calm down, his tails stop fluffing up slowly.
Sonic finishes destroying the badniks and watches Eggman yell at him and ran away, leaving the two on a pack of dead badniks.
"Tails! Are you alright?" Sonic asks as he brushes the kitsune's tail with his gloves. Tails nodded and gave a thumbs up.
"Jeez, soon, I really need to get someone to groom your tails."
The fox shook his head and hugged his tails.
