HEADCANON POST:
"Sonic is an unbelievably light sleeper during the night. The slightest noise or movement is enough to wake him up. However if he's napping during the day, the only way to wake him up is with an explosion or rough physical contact. This is because Hedgehogs are nocturnal animals."
A pack of badniks suddenly passed through the house, the ground shakes, as the village sleeps.
But not Sonic!
Sonic quickly wakes up from the shake and quickly investigates.
He saw the swarm of badniks going to attack the nearest village. Sonic quickly took action and began destroying the badniks before they could enter.
Tails suddenly woke up from the sudden noise and quickly went outside, preparing himself to fight.
Sonic stretched after defeating the swarm. He stopped then looked at the half awake kitsune who was at the doorstep watching. "Sorry If I woke you up bud! Let's head back to bed!" "Yeah.."
The hedgehog carried the fox back to bed.

"Oh Sonic!~" Called out Amy as she went over to the blue bur sleeping on a palm tree. Sonic gave no response but a snore. "Sonic!" She yelled again and shook him.
'Is he dead for real this time?" Amy immediately shook the thought.
She prepared her Piko hammer and smashed it to the ground, creating a slight shake from the ground.
Sonic only moved an inch while he was still sleeping.
Amy became frustrated and punched him with her hammer, startling the hedgehog being finally awake.
"Jeez Amy! I was just resting!" Sonic exclaimed and groaned, "What do you want?" He asked.
"We were supposed to hang out today!"
"Since when did I agree to that Amy?"
"Yesterday- Ugh! Let's just go Sonic!"
"Alright.."
Sonic didn't have enough sleep at night.
