Chapter 2

The next day had finally arrived. Back at Diversity, everyone had gathered back into the meeting room. Lady Boss was standing in the center with her back facing her employees.

"A new online page, Lady Boss?" Yha asked.

"Precisely. Why do you ask?"

"Sorry." Yha lowered her head.

"In case anyone didn't catch on, listen carefully. The new page is called "Diversity Pop." The page will present diverse content. About current trends and new ones as well. My target group are teenagers. If any of you have ideas to propose, I'm all ears. I want one that will "wow" me. No right or wrong."

"No wrong," she says. We're wrong for keeping quiet." Yha whispered.

"How about a fashion page?" One employee suggested.

Lady Boss fixed her eyes on the target. "Fashion page? And what makes them different from the others?"

The young employee lowered her head in shame and needed to look into her research more.

"What about a Gaming page?" Another employee suggested.

"Interesting. What kind of games? Sea, mountain, day, night, warm, cold. Content team, what do you have to say?"

"She announced the problem today and expects us to figure it out the same day. If she's in a rush she should've told us yesterday." Chen had whispered to Noi.

"Lower your voice. You wanna get yelled at?" Noi said. Once she faced forward she was met by piercing black orbs.

"Is it time to talk about other things?"

Both Noi and Chen apologized.

"Come on, people think. I want to hear everyone's ideas. Now."

Skyler had been running through her idea in her mind, she couldn't say what she needed to say unless the idea was finally formed in her head. After hearing about the fashion idea and then hearing the gaming idea, her brain cells were working on overdrive. The new website was to attract a younger audience, mostly teenagers as the Boss announced, so she figured why not put both ideas together.

"Hey Noi, is your stomach bothering you?" Nuch asked out of concern. Noi nodded. "Why don't you excuse yourself for a while?"

"No, I'm fine, it'll pass." She said, But her stomach felt like it was getting worse. Skyler had lost her concentration for the welfare of her friend and felt bad and decided to speak on everyone's behalf.

"Oi, Lady Boss," Skyler said. Everyone had gasped at the tone she had used to get the Boss's attention but at this moment she didn't care. "I think it may be hard to think of ideas under this intense atmosphere."

Lady Boss had thought. "Then would you like me to dance or sing to you so you'd be more relaxed?"

Skyler chuckled to herself, "If that would make you feel better then by all means, go on ahead." Everyone once again was surprised but also worried about Skyler's boldness. "But what I meant was, for you to allow everyone a break so that they could relax their minds and try to come up with certain ideas to a proposal that was just dropped on them. If not, then everyone's ideas will get rejected whether you say so or not. But if you give your team some time, then I believe that they will come up with some ideas that will reach your liking."

Lady Boss didn't show it, but she had become flabbergasted. Not once had any of her employees spoken to her like that. It had been some time since someone was able to put her in her place and color her speechless.

"Prepare a body bag. Sky's done for." Chen whispered.

Lady Boss crossed her arms to her chest and walked over to the new employee with a stone face and death in her eyes.

"You're the new employee, right?" She asked.

"Ahh yes, her name is…" Noi tried to help but she was silenced.

"I'm asking her, not you."

Skyler patted her friends back for appreciation. "Yes I am. I'm Tsuga. Skyler Tsuga.

"Okay. Everyone take a break. And you Ms. Tsuga, come to my office." She announced and left.

Skyler nodded. "As you wish."

"Sky.." Noi and everyone was scared for her life. But in Skyler's case, she did nothing wrong.

"You wanted to see me, Lady Boss?" Skyler asked with her hands behind her back. The raven beauty had observed Skyler and noticed that her physique was like a military stature.

"Take a seat Ms. Tsuga." Skyler could tell that it was said as an order rather than a suggestion. So to not cause any more tension she decided to sit.

"You are brave. Usually, nobody dares to argue with me."

Maybe not to your face. Skyler thought.

"For the past four years, you're probably the first one."

Skyler took a breath and needed to think about her next choice of words. "I didn't mean to argue with you. I was just speaking for the seniors in the room. I seriously think it's unwise to fire them for no apparent reason." Skyler was not afraid to speak her mind and voice her opinion, she took her eyes off the raven beauty for a moment and was direct with her without showing any weakness.

"Wait. Do I look so merciless to you?" Lady Boss leaned near a table while observing her new employee.

Hell yeah you do! She thought.

"Very much. Yes." Skyler was so blunt as she spoke.

The raven beauty walked over to her desk and leaned over the table to catch Skyler's attention. Giving the brunette a magnificent view of her cleavage without her even knowing it. The brunette gulped stably and rose her ocean blue to meet pitch-dark ones. "Speak to me like this…do you wish to get fired?"

Skyler looked directly into those deep black orbs, "No at all, Lady Boss. I haven't started working yet. Even though I was hired to manage the music department, and found out that I'm the only one in that department."

"I see, so tell me, what should our "Diversity Pop" deliver?"

Skyler became confused. She didn't think that the Boss lady was asking her opinion about the website, she figured she'd get an ear full of respect for the Boss, speak when spoken too, stay out of sight when she's looking or walking in your direction, no. Nothing like that.

"Well, I think the good content is just part of it. But without people sharing the content there could be no impact. We need to advertise something in this company that will catch anyone and everyone's attention. Such as audience, bloggers, subscribers, customers or even future employees. They need to know what you do in this company other than just making websites. For example…" Skyler paused and looked over to her boss. " Do you mind if I stand up? I kind of think better while I'm moving around."

Lady Boss was astonished. Everything that Skyler had said had made a lot of sense to her. After over four years, the CEO wasn't sure what she had in her company. The amount of employees is far less than the ones she had fired.

"For example, your VR team has made hundreds of virtual games. Some however are very graphic but also entertaining enough to want to play it. And, your fashion team no less, are very talented and creative. Just like the VR team they visualize their ideas in their work, the fashion team also makes costumes for cosplay." Skyler managed to walk back and forth while pitching her idea to the Boss Lady. Sam has been hanging on her every word while trying to see the idea come to life in her head while following the brunette.

"Comic-con is in three months, if I can try to convince both teams to sit and agree on the idea, then I'm hoping to add to the VR's game trailers with background music, that way we can show it on the website. Not to mention the fashion team can make cosplay outfits that represent the game and its characters. We can take pictures of the outfits or have some of the employees model them out and post them on the website as well so that everyone would be intrigued to view and hopefully share and follow the Page. And with your permission, we could set it up as live advertising for the company and the website at Comic-con."

Skyler sat back down and exhaled out of exhaustiveness. She never thought that making up an idea right on the spot could be very tiresome and a loss of energy. Lady Boss was once again speechless, but she didn't show it in her features. She turned her chair to another direction but also continued to listen to the attractive brunette.

"I think that we should reach out to the social media influencers. Such as YouTube, with 100k to million subscribers to share the page. Then when that takes off, we're hoping to gather other social media… like Twitter, Instagram, Tik-Tok and maybe even Facebook. These people have a lot of followers. And whatever they share it will get people's attention, and the people will follow our page as well. Plus, I think it'll be a great investment. And maybe even make it a bilingual page, it's already made in Japanese, why not make it in English content as well? Since some of the more appealing audience are mainly in the States and it'll reach other foreign customers too." Skyler finished her speech.

Lady Boss turned back to face the brunette with the same expression she had once Skyler walked in through the door.

"That's all I had to say. Do you have any comments, Lady Boss?" She asked.

She didn't say much at all. Just a wave of her hand was enough to say to Skyler that she was dismissed. And the brunette nodded and left. Leaving the raven beauty to her own thoughts.

"As you wish."

"Hey, she's back."

Skyler said not a word but walked into her station, sat at her desk and leaned back on her chair with a small cloth to cover her eyes. Everyone looked very worried and didn't know what to say, so Yha, Noi and Chen walked over to check on her.

"Knock knock, Sky." Noi said.

Skyler removed the cloth from her eyes and saw that the entire office was surrounding her.

"Sky, we took our breaks already. Did you just finish?"

"Yes I have."

"Here take this. It's long past the break point. I don't think you have time to get something downstairs."

Skyler smiled and thanked her new friends.

"Sky, did Lady Boss harm you in any way? Did she yell at you?" Chen asked out of concern.

Skyler shook her head. "Nothing like that. She didn't actually do anything. She just wanted to hear my ideas about Diversity Pop. That's all."

Everyone became silent like they didn't believe her.

"Sky, please be honest. Didn't she vent out or do anything along the lines at all?" Noi asked.

"Nothing. After I told her my idea she became quiet. You know, like what she does when something catches her mind."

"Sky, what do you mean by that?" Yha asked.

"You all can't be serious right?" Skyler looked confused. "I noticed when she's quiet, she's basically working through something, even after I finished my presentation, she was staring out in the distance, like she was deep in thought. I do that when I'm thinking of something that relates to the situation. Her brain cells are calculating all the information that I've given her and I can tell you, I had a lot to say." She took whatever was in the bag and ate it with delight. "Mm, and then she told me to leave. So right now, I don't know what she's thinking about."

Everyone accepted Skyler's explanation and left her to eat her food. Just when she was about to take another bite of her snack, the Boss lady's door opened and everyone scattered. Skyler noticed and just stayed seated in her chair.

"I've been thinking…" she walked on over to Skyler's station with her arms across her chest. "From now on, this employee…will be the administrator of the Diversity Pop page."

"Come again?" Skyler asked.

"What? Are you so surprised?" She asked.

"Extremely." Skyler answered and everyone nodded their heads in agreement.

"Your ideas aren't that outstanding, but you're brave enough to voice them. But there's one thing you must achieve, I want to have 500.000 followers in 1 month."

Gasped. The whole office was silent.

"One month? 500.000 followers. Are you on crack, lady!?" Skyler stood up and voiced her honest answer as she was getting aggravated.

Hmm, very brave indeed to talk to me like that. Lady Boss thought.

"If the page doesn't become popular like you say it will, I'll kick you out."

Skyler started to see little by little about what her boss was asking of her. If this woman knew that Skyler had already known that this company was going under, then she wouldn't be making such threats to the one who could actually save her company.

"I just can't keep up with her. First she scolds, then praises and then she pressures." Yha whispered.

"Who cares about probation. I would just quit. I'd go crazy if I stay" Chen whispered back.

Skyler and Lady Boss had entered a staring contest and had been for a while until Skyler grinned, "As you wish." She answered and agreed. Catching the others by surprise.

Lady Boss smirked a little. "From now on, the administrator for Diversity Pop is to come to my office to present the work plans. Every day."

The trio were even more concerned for their new friend that she had to go and see Lady Boss every day.

Skyler nodded once more, "As you wish."

Lady Boss left and headed back to her office.

I swear. This woman is making my job too easy.

After an hour or two, Skyler was able to meet up with both VR and the fashion designer's team. She had pitched to them her idea on what she had presented to the Boss Lady. Each of them were amazed that Skyler was able to come up with such an idea in so little time while everyone else had certain plans that were not even close to what she had in mind. All they did was listen and agreed with everything she had said because they weren't bad ideas. It was incredible that both teams were able to gather the information and swapped ideas on what to create on their parts.

"Okay. So basically you guys are working on your newest game. It looks like an adventure game but with a hint of fantasy. Your characters' costumes look like normal everyday clothes but their fighting attire is metallic materialistic armor. Which is not bad, actually it looks kind of cool."

"Thank you Sky. But our biggest problem we have is the trailer for the game. We can't seem to find or make the right music for the background. Of course, the followers will like the trailer, but we need them to want to watch the trailer with interest."

"Meaning, using a certain sound and beat to attract them to watch the trailer and find themselves mysteriously drawn to it that they'll want to buy it." Skyler had finished on what the VR team mate was about to say.

"Yeah exactly. "

"I think I know what to do. But I'll need to borrow the trailer and 2 days to work on it. I'll make two different choices to the same trailer and you guys decide which one you like most. Is that okay?" She asked.

"Yeah!" They all agreed in excitement.

"Okay. Now, for you guys. Comic-con is in three months. And the page has to be done in one, so if it's possible, would you be able to create a live version of the characters of the game? Maybe not all of them, but maybe 2 of the main ones, one of the sidekicks and the main bad guy?"

"Actually I don't think that should be a problem at all. Only four characters and there's five of us, so we each will take one while the fifth would assist with all of what we need."

"Excellent. Okay so I got what I have, said what I need and now…I have some music to work on. Do any of you have anything else to add?" She asked before she was about to head out the door.

"Nope. At least not now."

"But if we do, we will find you. Thanks Sky." Chen praised and everyone bowed in appreciation.

Skyler made her way back to her desk and was about to work on the trailer, until she was stopped by Yha for a moment. They went on over to the lunch area and she was hoping to go through some old ideas from the last four years.

"Here is the first content from the first year. You might want to look over them so you don't end up using the previous ones from before."

"This helps a lot, Yha. Thank you."

"You know what let's eat later,"

"Yeah the food can wait. Let's go through this first." Skyler suggested.

Both Skyler and Yha were in the middle of a break through of finishing the first two or three years until Noi came in and got everyone's attention.

"Listen up ladies. Tonight we will have a welcome dinner party for Sky."

Skyler became surprised, "oh no please you don't have to do that!" Skyler tried to reject the offer without being too rude.

"Nonsense Sky. Mr. Kirk made a reservation at Kagutsuchi restaurant for us tonight."

Kagutsuchi? No, no, no!

Skyler sighed. She knew she wouldn't be able to back out when the party was actually for her. "Ah, who is Kirk?"

"He's our other boss. He's also Lady Boss's silent business partner. But their personalities are completely different. You'll see him tonight."

Skyler was deep in thought.

Partner huh? If he's the partner, then why hasn't he helped out all this time?

Skyler arrived at the restaurant while parking her Yamada and handed her keys to the valet. She asked them to be careful and they agreed to be. She spotted Noi, Chen and Yha who stared in shock at her like she had a second head.

"What are you three staring at?" Skyler asked out of confusion when she looked behind her as well.

"Sky, you ride one of those bikes!?" Noi asked.

"Yes. That's my transportation to work and when I go home."

"Wow! And I thought what Lady Boss drove was dangerous. But no, you drive something way more dangerous and extreme." Yha stated.

"Cool indeed. You must have spent a fortune on that thing. I wish I had one even though I wouldn't be brave enough to ride one." Chen said.

"I didn't buy it. I built it." She said so bluntly. All three were shocked once more. "I bought all the materials and equipment and parts that I needed and built her myself. It took me five years of saving and building. I crafted her with my own hands. And I'm very proud of myself to have accomplished such a project. And I always take care of her."

"Wow, you really must be accomplished yourself. I bet your parents are very proud of you." Skyler grinned and thought about her family. "Now, we are having a full on dinner party all for you Sky. Let us go!"

"Hey, I'll meet you guys there, I just have to go to the washroom."

"Oh okay. Will save you a seat." Noi had said.

Skyler headed off to the washroom so she could make herself a little more presentable. She had become lost in her head when a very authoritative tone in one's voice broke her out of it.

"How long?"

Skyler lifted her head and frowned at the mirror. "What?"

"I want to wash my hands."

"Well there's another sink right there. Be my guest."

Skyler could tell she had struck a nerve and Lady Boss didn't want to lose her cool too easily. Skyler went over to the air dryer and right behind her the raven beauty repeated her question.

"How long?"

Skyler turned her head out of irritation but her face showed a frown. "Seriously? I just started the thing."

"My patience is very thin."

"Do you have somewhere to be at this moment?"

"Yes I do."

Skyler really wanted to tell her off so badly, but she had to calm herself before she said something wrong and everyone would be in real trouble. They were in a staring contest once again and it looked like neither wanted to back down.

"So please…"

Skyler took small breaths and stood to the side. "As you wish." She said, The brunette finished herself up and walked out to the party.

"Sky! Have a seat."

"Thanks."

"So this must be Ms. Tsuga. The new employee that everyone talks about. Correct?"

"Yes sir I am."

"You know we have a tradition here in our company. Usually the newbie is the one who pays for the meals. Isn't that right everyone." Mr. Kirk had stated.

Skyler shrugged it off like the situation was nothing. "If that is the case sir. I have no problem paying for dinner." She smiled out of generosity.

Sir Kirk was a little surprised but Lady Boss was not so surprised that her new employee would dare to pay for an entire dinner party.

She's playing him. Sam thought.

"Ah there is no need for that Tsuga-san. I've ordered all the food dishes from the menu. Let's eat up and have energy to push our new projects forward." He had projected.

Everyone agreed and cheered. Just when Skyler was about to pick from a simple plate, she noticed that no one had started. She looked around and looked over at Lady Boss. Which meant that no one was to pick until she picked something first.

They can't be serious. She thought.

Skyler backed away and let Lady Boss pick the first bite. As she did, sir Kirk was there to place another portion on her plate and ask everyone to enjoy the meal. For some reason Skyler didn't like when he did that, but she didn't know why. So she just picked a random sushi and as she did her chopsticks collided with another pair of chopsticks.

"Sorry Lady Boss. I…"

"In the past. They said if your chopsticks clash with others, it means that you'll have visitors." Lady Boss had stated while staring at the connected sticks. "But since we're in a Japanese restaurant, I don't think we will have visitors here."

"Sam, is that supposed to be a joke?"

"Aha. It's a joke about the Middle Easterns, and the South Asians."

Everyone was silent for a moment but Chen decided that the mood should be moving and hopefully Lady Boss would try to lighten up. But apparently she was just as cold and silent as she could be.

"You don't have to try so hard if it's not funny."

"Perhaps it was not for your account. Or maybe it was actually funny. And we all decided to laugh about it." Skyler stated and gave a genuine smile to her boss.

Sam felt her ears burning. She was not one to get positive results or any good vibes that were coming her way. But if they did, she wouldn't have known how to deal with them.

"Ah please eat up everyone. Don't worry about it."

Everyone ate to their heart's content until Sam decided to place a piece of sushi on Skyler's plate.

"You didn't have to do that, Boss Lady."

"You should eat fish a lot. It has Omega-3. It's good for your brain." She suggested. "So you can work for me." Skyler looked over towards Kirk for translation until Sam spoke again. "Eat up. Or should I feed you?"

"Thanks. But I'll do it myself." Skyler said and continued to eat her food. Everyone was happy and continued to eat and talk amongst themselves.

Until a very attractive woman with blood red shoulder length hair, dragon green eyes and a figure that looked like she was chiseled out of a statue walked into the restaurant. Chen took notice of her when she was awestruck by the incredible beauty that walked through the doors and headed over to the counter.

"Chen, what are you staring at?" Yha asked, when she followed her trail and landed on the woman at the counter, she two became awestruck.

The redhead could feel multiple alluring eyes upon her as she was conversing with the bartender behind the counter. She didn't need to see them to know that they were checking her out. But her curiosity got the best of her when she turned around slowly and noticed that there were a lot of people in the establishment and they all looked like they all were in the same party. She had glanced over to where the lingering eyes were coming from and saw that two obvious people had lowered their heads at the last minute. But what really caught her attention was the aroma in the room, it wasn't the smell of the food which smelled delicious by the way, or the freshness of the variety of flowers, but the fragrance of someone's perfume. She knew it too well and needed to find that person.

Back at the table, Chen and Yha were behaving weirdly and Skyler looked up in their direction and wondered why they were so quiet. Suddenly Skyler felt something familiar, something that was filled with…mischief.

Why do I feel like something is off? Skyler thought to herself.

"Well, well, well." The redhead had finally found the reason for her distraction.

Skyler closed her eyes and felt overwhelmed. "Oh no."

"My, my, my, my, my!" The redhead came closer and stood behind the annoyed brunette.

That explains a lot.

Everyone at the table was quiet once more and didn't know what to say or think when the redhead approached their table. Sam was about to intercept but Skyler took hold of her hand with subtlety and looked into her eyes, as if saying don't move. She had seen that look in Skyler's eyes before, it was the look of authority and somehow the Boss Lady became obedient and sat silently.

How is she doing that? Sam had thought.

Skyler stood up and faced the redhead with a mischievous grin. "What are you doing here, Red?"

"You know, whenever you imagine one of us in this situation, you'd always picture yourself on the other side of the line."

"Once again Nao, why are you here?"

"No, the question was, What am I doing here?" she smirked.

Skyler was feeling impatient. I don't know how Natsu deals with her. She thought.

"Anyways, I came to pick up my order. Mai's not working tonight and that cat girl ate everything that was left for dinner last night." Nao explained her situation.

Skyler went ahead and introduced her friend to her coworkers.

"Red, these are my new friends that I work with. I enjoy every single one of their company." Skyler gave a genuine smile and moved her eyes towards the raven beauty which she had given a stone look in return. "And everyone this Nao, she's my…"

"Sexually loving lover!" Nao shouted for everyone to hear.

All Gasped.

"Nao!" Skyler shouted out of shock and became pale by her eruptive response. She was about to explain that Nao was not what she had said to the group.

Until Sam's phone had buzzed.

"I have to take this call. A client is calling." Sam announced when she looked over at Kirk and he gave the okay and Sam got up and walked away.

Everyone sighed in relief and was able to relax in their own way. Nao said her goodbyes and left.

"I'm so sorry everyone. Nao is just an old friend. She means well but also likes to play a lot. I didn't mean to push Boss Lady away."

"Don't stress out Tsuga-san. Sam is usually kind."

"Kind you say? To tell you the truth I haven't been able to tell the difference."

Kirk smiled. "Come on everyone. Let's drink a lot that will lighten up the mood, shall we."

"Oh yeah. Let's do it Mr. Kirk!" Chen shouted and Skyler was not one to disagree.

About three hours later. Things started to take flight.

"This is so unfair. Mr. Kirk should never have been Lady Boss's lover. He should've been mine!" Noi was so drunk that she decided to spill out her deepest desires.

"Are they a couple?" Skyler asked.

"Not just a couple. He's her potential fiance." Yha said rather sluggishly.

"What? Fiance?" Skyler thought out loud.

"Just you wait! On their wedding day. I'll crash the ceremony myself." Noi declared her ambition and dedication to what or rather who she wants.

Skyler remained quiet as she gathered her thoughts about Lady Boss and Sir Kirk being a couple. She wasn't going to lie, they did make a cute couple but Skyler felt that something was missing in their relationship. She just couldn't figure it out or why she should even care at all, when she herself wanted nothing to do with relationships.

Ugh. Whatever.

The party was finally over and everyone was making their way outside of the restaurant. It had appeared that Noi had a little too much to drink and it took Skyler and Yha to escort her out to the car.

"I can walk on my go of me." Noi shouted.

Both Skyler and Yha released their drunken friend until she looked like she was about to fall over, but they were quick enough to catch her once she hit the floor.

"You're usually gentle. But your personality flips when you're drunk." Yha had stated.

"Which one?"

"The crazy one. Insane." Yha laughed and so did Noi when she was about to tumble over again but Chen and Skyler caught her at the last minute. Chen had her camera on as she was videotaping her coworkers drunken hysteria.

"Seriously. It would have been better if Sir Kirk came to such a party." Noi admitted while feeling completely wasted. "Lady Boss didn't need to come. She made a rule for employees to date. When she's the one that has a lover." Noi felt very jealous and overrated in her scenario.

"Right. So unfair." Chen agreed.

"How come she can have one and we can't?" Skyler asked while trying to hold up Noi.

"Well, that's because Kirk and Lady Boss once had an argument in the office. And their fight affected work bid time. So, she said that having a lover within the same company would come at the expense of work productivity." Chen had announced as he was trying to stay cool while trying to remain sober at the same time.

"Wait, I don't really get it." Skyler asked as she was confused while trying to hold Noi up straight.

"You know, she's the owner of the company. She can make any rule she wants." Chen stated.

"True." Noi agreed.

"Shush now. No more gossip. Let's go home." Yha said. Noi was about to step forward but Skyler held her hand because she knew she was about to fall over. "I swear, you're such a burden to your juniors."

"But don't you guys think that we should let Lady Boss know that we feel uncomfortable about something? That way she would listen to our opinion." Skyler suggested.

"Listen Sky. I still can't predict her emotions these days. As if she had illegal botox injections, her muscles on her face don't ever move." Yha said while Noi took her companion's face from behind and held her head in place. "When she's upset, she always says, "Get out. You're fired."

Skyler just smiled and tried not to laugh at her coworkers' drunkenness.

"Let me tell you this. The cells in her face are dead." Noi said and laughed out her frustration and everyone laughed along with her.

"It seems that everyone is afraid of Boss Lady. Is it because she doesn't show facial expressions? I thought it was because she was grumpy."

"It's probably better if she did act all grumpy. The thing is she doesn't. That makes it impossible to predict her emotions and handle her." Yha said. The trio continued to make fun of their boss and had no care in the world.

"Well as far as I've known her, I don't think she's that kind of person." Skyler said with a smile.

"Well, what kind of person do you think our boss is?" Chen asked in his drunken tone.

"Wow, what a great joke! I really like it, Sky." Noi said. "Okay! I'm ready to go home."

Skyler walked all three of her friends to the curb where they will get picked up by a cab and send them home. Her friends were against her for driving home on her own but she told them that she was fine and that she will call one of them to know that she arrived home safe. Skyler watched as her friends entered the cab and vanished from her sight. She thought back to when she had encountered her Boss.

The brunette waited for a moment for the valet to arrive with her ride. She had not noticed that a car was approaching at a ridiculous speed, but what really caught her attention was a raven-haired beauty talking on the phone while blindly walking across the street knowing that the incoming car was moving in her direction.

Sam was about to walk across the street when the speeding car was roaming in her direction, until she felt herself being pulled away off the street and onto the sidewalk to safety. She was pulled into a protective embrace, her head was buried and she had taken a whiff of the same fragrance she had stumbled upon once before. Once she lifted her head, she was met with the same ocean blue orbs that had saved her once again.

Skyler and Sam were staring at each other with different types of emotions. Neither one wanted to think about it and neither wanted to understand it either. Sam noticed the fragrance on Skyler from their first embrace and didn't want to admit it but she loved that essence that lingered upon the brunette. Skyler wasn't sure how she should be feeling. She was not one for relationships but for some reason she felt like it was possible to actually build one with the raven beauty and actually like it.
