Chapter Two

Now this was the way he wanted to wake up every morning for the rest of his life, to the feeling of Alex cuddling up to him with her body all curled up into his chest and her legs in between his; especially after they make love to each other, just like they did earlier this morning. Earlier in the morning after she found him in the pool, swimming after he woke up in the middle of the night; unable to sleep after dreaming about this late wife. But now, something feels different after the talk that he and Alex had in the pool last night. He feels like it's time for him to move on with his life, rather than looking back at the mistakes he made; the biggest one being that he left Alex in the first place. I mean, how could he leave a woman as gorgeous as her? When this is the life that he wants to have. A life with this beautiful woman by his side, all cuddled up to him just like she is this morning; oh, the way this feels right now is pure heaven.

He truly believes that this is the life that he deserves to live and deserves to have after all the tragedy that he was just dealt with; yet he still regrets some of those faithful decisions which he made each and every day, one of which he still can't shake. The regret that makes his mind wander, just what would've happened had he not gone back to Hallie; whether he would've stayed with Alex. Sure, he may not have been with Hallie again; but that might've had a happy outcome for her at least. She would've been able to live and keep going. So many regrets still play through his mind, regrets that he can only attribute to his grieving process due to the fact that it's what he's still doing to this day; but he's not doing it alone. Instead, he's doing it with the help of the most amazing woman he's ever met and loved. And yes, he believes that she's even better than his late wife; simply due to the fact that she gets him.

She gets him better than his own wife does, due to the fact that she's seen firsthand what he's had to go through on some of his most stressful days; and she's always been there for him afterwards. Yes, they sometimes slept with each other after those hard days ahead of him going home to his late wife. And that was something that he regrets, as that was when he should've ended things with Hallie, when he started to sleep with this gorgeous woman he's holding in his arms at the moment. Because at the end of the day, she's always been the woman he's had in his mind for a while; sometimes even (almost) moaning her name whilst in the middle of having sex with his wife. But no more, as her name is now the only name that he will ever moan in bed as he wants to be her man forever. After all, he did ask her to move in last night, which is something he's so happy he did as he hates to be alone at night right now.

If he had to choose between being alone at night or sleeping with Alex; he'd choose Alex every day of the week, and they didn't even need to have sex. All he would want that night is for them to hold each other as they are at the moment, as they show each other love and affection; but he had to admit, he does love showing love and affection to the woman he loves by making sweet love to her in bed. He just hopes that she's not too cold at the moment, as the last thing he would want is for her to wake up cold in their bed. And that was why he decided to do something, while hoping that Alex didn't wake up, which would be to roll over in bed and grab the remote to the fireplace that they have in their room. After which, he turned the fireplace on as a way to heat up their room. He then set the remote back down on his side table so that he could lay back down next to Alex and wrap his arm around her back.

Something he was hoping that he could do while keeping her asleep, but it wasn't meant to be. And that was due to the fact that the moment he rolled over to get close to the woman he loves, she opened her eyes and smiled at him. "Shit, I was hoping that you were still asleep." Alex smiled as she heard Matt say that. "Nothing like you squishing my legs to wake me up." Matt then realized that, nodding as he moved nice and close to the woman he loves; before tugging her body against his chest as he held her in his arms this morning. Meanwhile, Alex put her hands on his face and smiled as she stared into his eyes; the eyes that she loves to stare into more than anything in the entire world. Kissing her boyfriend softly, Alex smiled as she took things nice and slow with the man she loves, who just so happens to also be the man who asked her to move in…and her boss. But not right now, right now he's just Matt.

The man she loves and wants to take things nice and slow with; something that Matt felt the same about, due to the fact that he wants to be all sexy and hormonal with the gorgeous woman he's currently holding extremely close to his chest at the moment. Something that Alex wants as well, as she absolutely loves it when they get sexy with each other; especially when they get sexy with each other like they did the night before. God, the way their bodies moved against one another's was absolutely perfect, and she honestly believes that their bodies were truly made for one another's; they just fit that well together, and she can't explain just why or how she feels that way. "God, I am so glad that I'm here right now." Matt agreed with Alex, smiling at his beautiful girlfriend. "I feel the same way, as this is where I want you to be right now; here with me, as I hold you in my arms." Alex agreed, smiling at her boyfriend.

But what made her smile even more, was when she felt him run his hand down her back; oh, the way his strong hand just feels against her skin. It's truly the sexiest thing in the entire world, and she is so blessed to have this feeling be hers each and every day from now on; well, that's only if she agrees to move in. After all, that was a question that she hasn't given Matt an answer to yet; simply due to the fact that she was caught off-guard. I mean, he asked her that when she's concentrating on making love to him. She wasn't at all thinking about that yet, due to the fact that he just lost his wife, which is really her main priority. Making sure that he's okay before he really moves on, including when it comes to having a woman in his bed each and every night again. So, she decided to ask him that. "Can we talk about it first?" Matt agreed with Alex, as that most certainly is something that they can do, they can talk.

But first, she wants something. "Maybe something else first." Matt smiled as he tugged her body against his chest, thinking that she wanted sex. "Oh, you want some more of this; don't you?" Kissing the woman he loves, Matt smirked as he wrapped his arms around her; meanwhile, Alex wrapped her arms around his neck as they took things nice and slow with each other. But contrary to what Matt thinks, she doesn't want to go for another round of sex yet; rather, she needs some coffee so that she can think. "Coffee." Matt just looked at Alex as she said that, really turned on by what she just did. "God, you are such a tease." Alex agreed with Matt as he said that, well aware that she was a tease. "Oh, don't act like you don't LOVE the fact that I tease you like that all the time." Matt agreed with Alex as she said that, as that most certainly is the truth; he loves it more than anything when she teases him like that.

It's really the sexiest thing in the entire world, and there have been so many times that he's wanted to take her in my arms at the office. "I am so glad that you're mine now, and that I don't need to hide my feelings for you." Alex agreed with Matt, before leaning in and kissing him one last time before he finally got up so that he could do precisely what Alex wants him to do, which would be to make them some coffee this morning. I mean, she can't think without coffee; but she most certainly can admire his package, which was currently revealed for her to admire as he stood there in front of her naked. "You like what you see?" Grabbing his towel next to his bed, Matt smirked as he went to wrap it around his waist before walking over to his dresser this morning. "Oh, there's some of your lingerie still here in the dresser." Alex nodded. "Really?" Matt agreed. "You're the only woman I've ever brought here, remember?"

Alex then remembered that, as this is their love nest; and always has been their love nest. "Hallie was never here?" Matt shook his head. "She was a city girl, why do you think I chose a house out here for us? You're the only woman who wants to come out here with me." Alex agreed with Matt as he said that, smiling as that made her happy; the fact that she's the only woman that he's ever brought here made her really happy. "That makes me feel special." Matt smiled as he heard Alex say that as he walked up to his dresser, before thinking about something. "Hey, quick question. Want to take a shower before we get dressed?" Looking at Matt as he asked her that, Alex bit her lip before realizing that it may be a good idea considering they're putting new lingerie on; and due to the fact that she loves when his body is naked and wet. "Naked and wet, favorite things." Matt laughed as he heard Alex say that, as it was true.'

He loved looking at her when she was naked and wet in his shower and will always love that sight. "Want me to go start it for us?" Alex agreed with Matt, nodding as he walked up to her at their bed, which is when it clicked for her. This was their bed, and she's the only woman who's ever slept in it. So, why wouldn't she move in with him? She already has a bunch of clothes here and is the only woman with clothes here. God, she just made up her mind based on the statement that she's the only woman he's ever brought here. So, this is home; something she plans on telling Matt as she kissed him softly. After which, she pulled away and looked at the man of her dreams. "Go start my welcome home shower." Matt was smirked as he heard Alex say that. "Or I can get in bed, and we can celebrate?" Alex laughed as she heard Matt say that, while watching as he walked back over to his dresser to set his boxers and her lingerie down. After which, she smirked as that was precisely what she wanted to do.

She wanted to celebrate the fact that she's moving in.

The feeling of his thumb stroking her back was the discreet motion that brought her out of her slumber once more this morning, waking up in bed for the second consecutive time with the man she loves holding her close, which is precisely how the model wanted to wake up as she cuddled up to her hunk of a CEO this morning. And that action alone was enough to tell Matt something, which was that Alex wanted him to wrap his arm around her back now that they were both awake once more, which promptly did with pleasure as if there was no time to waste. After all, he wants to please the woman he loves as he welcomes her home. To their new home, where they are going to start such a beautiful life with each other. And that most certainly started here in bed, as he started to feel her move on his chest once more this morning. "Good morning roomie." Alex smiled as she heard Matt say that, as that was the truth.

She was now living with him, which is something that she loves; she loves the fact that they live together, due to the fact that it means that she gets to be with the man she loves day in and day out. "We are going to have a lot of fun here." Alex agreed with Matt as he said that, as that most certainly is the truth; especially now that they share a bed with each other. A bed where they were currently naked, shortly after making love to each other for the second time today. "Baby, I promise that I'm okay now. I'm okay because I have you." Alex agreed with Matt as he said that, well aware that was the case; and she most certainly knew that after how they just had each other, because that was incredible. The way his hands just moved all around her body was perfect, and there's nothing more that she could ask for in life other than this. This feeling that comes with waking up in bed with the man she loves.

The man who's arms she doesn't want to move out of. "I don't want to move." Matt agreed with Alex as she said that, stroking her back as they both held each other close. Because that's what you do when you share a bed with the person you love, you hold each other close in the morning so that you don't need to let each other go. But right now, there was more that Matt wanted to do; and that was just relax with the woman of his dreams. And if he had it his way, he would most certainly stay here all day; but he can't due to the fact that they need to get up and eat, which starts with a shower…something that was originally going to be the way he welcomed her home, but they ended up making love to each other instead. "So, you still want that welcome home shower?" Alex laughed as she heard Matt say that, as this was a much better welcome home than she could've ever wished for.

Him making love to her in their bed was all the welcome home that she needed. "Believe me when I say this baby, you making love to me the way you did last night and just now was all the welcome home I needed from you." Matt agreed with Alex as she said that, before turning his head and pressing his lips to her forehead; he then proceeded to whisper to the woman he loves. "Alex, this is your home now. I mean that. I want you to live here every day for the rest of your life." Alex agreed with Matt as he said that. "I love that idea." Matt agreed with Alex. "It's our turn now babe. No more hiding, it's time for you to take your rightful place on my arm." Alex agreed with Matt as she said that, as she loved the sound of that. The sound of her taking her rightful place on his arm. "I love the sound of that more than anything baby." Matt agreed with Alex as she said that, well aware that was the case.

He just knew in his heart that she loved the fact that she was now going to be the woman on his arm, whom he will love for the rest of his life. He just hopes that she truly knows how much he loves the fact that they're currently holding each other close as they are at the moment. "I hope you know that I am very comfortable here, as I hold you in my arms as we cuddle up to each other." Alex laughed as she heard Matt say that, well aware that he's very comfortable at the moment; after all, he's laying down with her on his chest. "I mean, you do have me on your chest right now." Matt agreed with Alex as she said that, as that most certainly is the truth. "Oh, now if that isn't the truth. And I have to say that I am very comfortable here, with you on my chest." Alex nodded as she heard Matt say that, before stroking his chest with her thumb as they both held each other close here in the comfort of their bed.

Meanwhile, Matt ran his hand up and down her back; before turning his head and kissing her forehead softly. "I want this every morning, without a doubt." Alex agreed with Matt as he said that, well aware that this is what he wants now. After which, she slipped up his chest and smiled as she looked down into his eyes; meanwhile, Matt reached up and put his hand on her neck as he kissed her softly. And god, did Alex love the feeling of his soft lips on hers, simply due to the fact that he just kisses her the best way possible. She can't explain it, but she's never been kissed this way before; and it will always be her favorite way to be kissed. "God, I love the fact that you aren't just visiting here; this is your home now." Alex agreed with Matt as he said that, smiling as she laid her head down on his chest as a way to cuddle up to her man; meanwhile, he put his hand on her back as he continued to hold her in bed.

Stroking her back with his thumb as she just laid here in his arms, Matt smirked due to the fact that he is very comfortable at the moment. "How long?" Matt was confused as he heard Alex say that, while looking down at the woman he loves. "What are you talking about?" Alex sighed as she turned her head and looked up at Matt. "How long until you go back to work?" Matt smiled. "I have time off, which means that we have time together. I have time to spend with you as we start this new life together." Alex agreed with Matt as he said that, before cuddling up to him again. After which, she felt Matt wrap his strong arm around her some more and stroke her shoulder with his thumb, which was truly paradise due to the fact that she's very happy here in the comfort of his arms. The arms which she will be sleeping in for the rest of her life (hopefully). "I have dreamed of this for a while." Matt agreed with Alex.

After all, he's dreamed about this too. "As have I." Alex was surprised as she heard Matt say that, so she turned her head and looked up at the man she loves. "You did?" Matt nodded, before bending down and kissing her softly. "I did, because I dreamed of you sometimes." Alex agreed with Matt as he said that, before kissing him softly as they continued to hold each other like this. "And sometimes, in that future…you're my wife." Alex was surprised as she heard Matt say that. "Really?" Matt agreed with Alex, as she was his wife in some of his dreams. "That you most certainly were." Alex smiled as she heard Matt say that, while also slipping up his chest and staring down into his eyes. She then proceeded to kiss him softly as they started to take things nice and slow with each other once more, but that didn't mean that he was getting anything. "I'm going to go start the shower." Alex then went to get up, smirking.

However, Matt was not amused. "EXCUSE ME!" Grabbing her towel, Alex smirked as she walked away to tease her man; the man she loves and wants to follow her into the bathroom so that they can take a how shower with each other. And let's just say that's precisely what Matt Casey did. He got up out of bed, grabbed his towel and then made his way into the washroom where they would shower together this morning; he just hopes that Alex knows that this also means that he gets another round of hot sex from her.
