June and the NYC Dinosaurs: June's Dinosaur Story

After receiving her father's amulet, a young girl named June is taken to a different New York where she helps two children and the dinosaurs make their way to the big top. However the evil Professor Screweyes has other plans. Can she and the kids save their dinosaur friends in order for June to get home?

1. A Great Adventure's about to begin

My father used to tell me different stories, about a man who has a special time machine and uses it to go back in time to find dinosaurs to grant children's wishes. I think that's nonsense. Really it is. Father doesn't think so because it's true.

I then asked him, "Well if that's true, then how come I never saw one dinosaur in our world?" Father then said to me, "Well just because you haven't seen a dinosaur in our world, doesn't mean that you can't see it in a different Earth." I didn't know about that at all. Well I shall have to see what is going on.

Then he said to me, "June sweetie, it's time that I should give you something that was once mine when I was about your age." He handed me his amulet. It has a shape of a dinosaur. Well I hope that it's worth it. I got confused for a good six seconds. Then he said, "You know, having a walk around the backyard will help you." I then sighed and said, "Ok Dad, I will do that now." I then went outside.

I had a nice walk around when I saw my father's amulet starting to glow. I started to get confused all of a sudden. Then a flash of red and orange and green light circled around me and I started to spin around.

When the light settled, I groaned. I got up and got my eyes wide. I'm in a life raft all by myself and heading to the docks. I wonder what is going on.

I looked at my surroundings and I realize that I must be in New York City. I have a feeling that I'm not at home anymore. I must be in the Hudson river.
